Mazra in San Bruno

Hello there, this is top 5 one of the best gyro wraps I have had in the Bay Area. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are in perfect harmony. One time I drove 1 hour out of my way to have this lamb/beef wrap. I love this place! Also one time I spilled water everywhere so I do apologize to the staff for having to clean it up. Excellent service!

Fabulous place to eat! It has many halal options (only duck and steak are not halal) they are friendly to diary and vegetarian needs as well. The atmosphere was very cool, lots of art and open space, indoor and outdoor seating. The food was amazing and good sized portions. Very little parking however there is street parking all around the restaurant. We went for lunch and it was very busy however our food came fast. Highly recommend, and it’s close to SFO if you need a last SF meal or quick snack.

Love this restaurant. We came here during dinner time and this place was packed. Finding parking is a bit challenging since the restaurant has limited parking space. We ended up parked at the residential area. You ordered at the cashier, paid, got a device with the number, and waited for it to beep.We order salmon, lamb chop, and shawarma beef and chicken. All come with rice and 2 side dishes.It was good that after you paid, they would find a table for you. You get free hot tea and water. It is a kind of self-service where you get your own utensil and plate. All are disposable items.You have to be patient since it is a very busy restaurant. Our food was so yummy. I love the salmon the most. Secondcis the lamb chop. The side dishes are also yummy. It was one of the best Mediterranean foods I have ever had. The shawarna is a bit salty but overall is ok. For sure we will visit again and try other dishes.

I love finds like this in neighborhoods I wasn’t expecting. This place has amazing food. Sometime easterner Med food can bit a little dry. But the meats here are delicious and tender. The platters are quite sizeable and the sides are great. The only downside is that it can get quite busy, but they handle the table situation well by helping you find a seat; and the parking can be difficult.

In town for work and this was recommended. Cool open air atmosphere. Order at the counter, find your seat and wait for your order to be ready. It was really good. I had lamb and beef kabobs, Arabic salad, humus. Alcohol is not served.Additionally, I saw a young male employee who went out of his way to 2 different elderly people. (Not together). He got them both coffee, water, utensils and napkins…and they did not seem to ask for it. It was so sweet. I didn’t see his name, but tall and thin, dark somewhat curly hair. Kudos to this young man!

We tried double kebab plate and Garlic Rotisserie Chicken plate. It was pretty good. We liked Fresh season juice very much too.Only caution: in double kebab plate, beef kebab has mild lamb odor. You can order beef kebab considering this.Overall it’s a nice place to go along with friends and family. Also, their staff is hospitable and accommodative.

This is a beautiful place with delicious food and excellent service!! Great customer service, cute merch, cool neon signs, paintings and the food was 10/10! Indoor and outdoor seating, freshly grilled meats in the back, and complimentary water & tea during your visit. If you have room for dessert try their baklava, all 3 flavors are amazing! Highly recommend for quality food & service! Great food and beautiful aesthetic all around! ✨

Mazra impressed us with its amazing mint lemonade and cauliflower dishes, full of great flavors. The shawarma plate was good, but the chicken was a bit dry, possibly due to an extremely crowded night. The lamb stank was nice, though not as expected. We were expecting more kebab like flavors. Overall, its great value for money, and we’ll definitely go back.

What a great local Mediterranean spot! The service is casual, you order at the counter and find yourself a seat (or if it’s packed you may have to join a waitlist) and grab your own water or hot tea and utensils. The food is anything but casual though, incredible shawarma and the specials like the lamb shank are superb.

Mazra is the best! I love supporting our local small businesses and this one makes the wait worth it. There are so many delicious items on the menu that I never know what Im going to eat but its become a rotation of the branzino, shrimp kebabs, or falafel and hummus. But in one meal you get so many experiences with the yummy garlic spread to the hummus and whatever that spicy green delicious sauce is! 😋 I eat here at least once a week!
