This is a very flavorful place where you can enjoy a little bit of international food. If you are the kind of person who loves spicy flavors in your food, this is the perfect place for you. I really enjoyed the Moroccan Crispy Fried Chicken, Whole Roasted Cauliflower, and Chicken Tikka balls. Sadly to say, my parents did not have the same experience since spicy food is not in their system due to medical conditions. I wish they would create a separate small menu for people who want to enjoy this delicious food without the spicy flavor. There is a wonderful bar where you can come to enjoy one of your favorite drinks and unwind the stress of the day.
The food was okay. The service was good. The chicken shawarma was 1 star. The meet was just bad. The humus was pretty good. The fried chicken was good but that was the only really good thing that had. Most of the dishes we tried were very bland and did not have a lot flavor. The bread was good. The ambiance was nice. Would I go back for sure a No.
This spot is a hidden gem in Studio City! Wow! Amazing food and service! Try their Beef skewers and chicken kebab! Not to miss!
Pleasantly surprised. The menu is limited but I enjoyed the crispy chicken pita. The banana pudding was good but I think a little overpriced. The Pavlov was also good and more than enough for 4.
Great potential but falls short.Went there for my mothers Bday as a group. Great service and ambiance.Food was mediocre at best, with salad dish that was not even large enough to serve 1.The side salads are also tiny. The kicker is that they charged us for bday cake and side order of pita. Felt like they were nickle and diming and trying too hard to make money. Too bad, not going back there again.
We were having dinner outside, I think it was about 46 degrees, and my friends were none too happy -- until the food arrived. Mazza may be one of the tastiest -- if not THE tastiest -- restaurants in LA. The ambience is friendly/casual, with a great Happy Hour. And the food is super tasty. We had Moroccan Crispy Fried Chicken, the Masabacha hummus (bread = amazing), the Chicken Tikka meatballs, whole roasted cauliflower (get it super well done), salad Shirazi, and delicious glasses of pinot noir. ALL fantastic. We were a bunch of snobby LA foodies -- and we were raving. Seriously, this is a GREAT restaurant, people. GO.
Absolutely fantastic service AND food. I had the Jerusalem flatbread for app and it was just insanely good. Then I had the steak and eggs followed by the pineapple coconut dessert. Holy moly. Both were absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

While I can’t speak for dinner, because that menu looked more traditionally Mediterranean, this restaurant appears to be more on the “fusion” side. Jalapeños and green apples in the chopped Mediterranean salad, for example. I’m sure it’s good, but I was craving a good traditional plate or appetizer mezza, and this wasn’t the spot for that at lunch. I did see a three spread mezza on the dinner menu, olives, filafel, etc. It was clean and nice inside and nice outdoor patio.
Amazing and delicious food! We went with a party of six, had great service along with great food. They were all beautiful presented and there wasn’t a dish that did disappoint. I recommend the khachapuri, the eggplant babaganoush with truffled mushrooms. I also would recommend the flank steak with confit potatoes. Will be coming back!
Wow! This place serves Uzbekistan cuisine. Went for dinner and got the fried Cornish hen, which was good enough to place a second order. The babaganoush and fresh bread was also fantastic. They have a 24 hour pulled brisket that serves 4-6 and comes with ten sides and fresh baked bread. This was off the charts delicious! Best brisket Ive ever had. To be honest it serves more like 6-8 than 4-6.Im super excited about this place, its that good.
Honestly, I just finished eating my first delivery fromMazza and it was absolutely delicious. The game hen was a shocker, never had anything like it, it was so so so good and so much food. The arugula salad was also great and the homemade tandoori bread and hummus are not to be missed! It is not inexpensive but worth every bite.. very large portions. Yeah, leftovers. Cant wait to try other items on the menu.

My friend recommended me this spot and said nothing but good things about it so we had to try it out for ourself. Located in the plaza on Laurel Canyon and Ventura on the second floor with plenty of parking. Was seated fairly fast as the place was pretty crowded. First impression all employees were in masks and all tables pretty distance from another. Waiters were very friendly and helpful to chose some apps and dishes and honestly everything was AMAZING. So tasty and delicious. The Polov and Prawns and Salads and Steak all top top. Our kids loved it and we had some leftovers which we had the next day I personally think was as good if not tastier. WOW. I’m so happy they are in my neighborhood and we will be back for you.
Went here for brunch on Sunday, and it was delicious. The service was great. I sat outside in their patio which includes covered areas, if you dont want too much sun.
Overall good restaurant with some food that American people may not understand well. Uzbek plov: made ok, a bit dry, meat in it should be deep fried, not steamed. Dumpling: made ok, size is right, unfamiliar people may not understand the big size, it is called Khinkali, not really dumpling, the price for 3 pieces is high, should be 4 or 5 pieces for that price if they are in house made.
Ordered online. Meal was pretty good, rice need improvement. Overall, okay. #TEAMSMILEY
I like this place for two main reasons. First, this place can accommodate big groups and second, this place provides a good variety of food. Great family oriented spot looking for a laid back spot to just enjoy some good company and some food. Not sure if ill be making multiple visits in a year but for what it provides it a good default option for dinner if your group is larger than twelve or more
Every time we come here we enjoy delicious fresh food! We are from Uzbekistan and Armenia, we enjoy atmosphere and fresh vegetables, plov, bowls, mint tea and spacious terrace! Highly recommend!
Mazza keeps true to its meaning fun/exciting/delicious. The outdoor-ish seating was perfect for the many of us reacclimating to dining after being vaccinated. The servers were attentive and the food arrived quickly. We ordered a few items from the happy hour menu which I thought was nicely priced for the quantity. The flat bread which is the base for many of the entrées here was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it with the babaganoush and also in the Jerusalem flatbread. The head of cauliflower makes a dramatic entrance, but is also flavorful and well prepared. The Moroccan Crispy Fried chicken is not to be missed. Eat it with the warm and delicious bread. The sweet and spicy dish was unique and the star of the night. Ill be more than happy to sit in traffic from the West Side to return to Mazza to try some of the other items on the menu.
My wife eats here a lot always brings me home something. The food is delicious, I had one the best salads ever the other day. A great addition to the neighborhood.

Its not really Mediterranean or Middle Eastern. This place is Uzbeki! Ok, maybe Uzbekistan is Middle East.The Plov brought me back to my past life in the USSR when we united with Uzbekistan and this food popped up on the streets of Moscow. The Khachapuri was nice, tender, and cheesy- classically done. The Chicken Tikka meatballs were an interesting touch and didnt clash with the spectacle of the meal. Also tried the truffle babaganoush and a salad for some veg and both were solid.This place is a nice establishment and I did see people at least wearing a polo or nice shirt and it does look like that kind of place. Nothing required, just a heads up to bust out the khakis pants.
Wonderful restaurant! If you want a taste of authentic Mediterranean food, nice dinner atmosphere and great service, this a place to visit. Definitely try to call ahead and make a reservation on weekends, because it tends to get busy. Highly recommend their spreads, Uzbek plov, Chicken Shish-Kebab, Khachapuri and Banana Tiramisu for desert :)
I am a huge fan of the fresh and unique food that Mazza offers. The tandoori bread is fresh, the lagman soup flavorful, the Plov is to dieee for!!!!! I also love some of the appetizers/sides like Babaganoush and Eggplant. And did I mention the Kachapuri? There are just no words. From the amazing food to the socially distanced tables on the patio, this is simply a gem. Thank you for adding unique cuisine to Studio City!

I would have been inclined to leave a more positive review, especially because the waitresses were so kind and friendly; however, this restaurant is NOT enforcing COVID guidelines among their patrons.The servers are wearing masks and shields, but there was a huge party that continuously kept walking across the restaurant to go smoke (which was another issue) and of course, all of them shouting and talking with no masks on. It’s already stressful enough to dine out during COVID, but not a single server or manager told the people that they had to put their masks on.There is also a terrace next to the restaurant with a “No Smoking” sign. Clearly, that doesn’t matter because there were about 15 people from the restaurant going out to smoke. My husband and I were forced to eat our dinner inhaling clouds of cigarette smoke that lingered there. Completely ruined and lost our appetite.Definitely not a place we’d come back to.
We had an amazing meal from start to finish. If you have a party of 4 to 6, you have to try the short rib special. Dont miss the desserts.

This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites in the LA area.You cant go wrong with the khachapuri we ordered. Inside the fresh-baked dough, a delicious blend of cheese and veg! The outdoors patio was beautiful and comfortable,we were served by Andrey who guided us through the menu and we ended up enjoying the Babaganoush spread, Uzbek Lagman and Chiken Shish-Kebab.
