I ordered plate one, which was the chicken kebab. It came with hummus, a salad, and a pita. The food was delicious and fresh. Everything had the right amount of flavor, and the rice was cooked to perfection. I give this place 10 out of 10!

I placed an order over the phone the cashier was super friendly and helpful. Food is flavorful and good. My only complaint is the pita I was given is a bit hard and not as soft as Im used to. Overall great place to eat.

My food was NOT fresh. The tabbouleh was good but definitely not fresh, tomatos were soggy and the entire dish had a mush like consistency. Overall the flavor of the tabbouleh was good but Im sure they gave me the almost expired container.I spent $31 on food that was hard, dry, and lukewarm if even that. I reached out to the business twice to notify them of the issue . . . how can someone fix something if they dont know theyve made a mistake?!I spoke to someone via the Google Business page, this person said they would reach out to discuss with someone & so on. Well, its been 5, going on 6 days now . . . still no response. I called the business let them know I was waiting on a response, then I was placed on hold for over 4 minutes.I dont recommend eating here due to the lack of professionalism this business displays, the lack of customer service, and the flat out laziness. I know for a fact I was given food that was reheated, there is no way my order was made fresh. Waste of time and money.

Ive been coming here for over a month now and everything from this establishment is excellent. From food to customer service. I come about twice a week because how good the food is. I get the steak kabob plate but switched to chicken and steak this time. Bomb. Let me tell you never a disappointment. The owner is such a wonderful person. He made sure I was well tooken care of. I will continue to come to this as family owned business and spread the word.

They take your drivers license information and card number and everything just to buy food??? Very uncomfortable giving all this information. I placed the order over the phone and they took the payment over the phone which is uncomfortable to being with..giving my card number and everything but ok I understand...now I pick up my order and they asked me to see my card again and to see my drivers license! The lady notated my drivers license number and my card number again. This is not right at all. Not buying food here ever again.

The girl at the front was really nice. I was so excited to get some Mediterranean food, this was my first time here but I’ve had it before. Sad to say I was not satisfied. I got a Steak plate & ordered a bowl & 3 pita bread. My steak was tough & chewy. The pita bread wasn’t too great. Overall I only ate the steak. Would not recommend. The nut deserts were good though.

We were out shopping and wanted some good Mediterranean food for dinner and this place far exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious. Their falafel was fresh and you could taste all those hot, fresh spices. Babaganoush had a lovely smoky flavor and their lamb was spectacular!!! Absolutely delicious!!! Do not pass on their baklava either, some of the best Ive ever had. Youll want to try EVERY piece they offer.An absolute pleasure and we will go back again and again...

It was really good. I ate the chicken kabob plate that came with rice, Bread, roasted tomato n chili pepper n hummus. The chicken portions could of been bigger for the price I paid. However the platw was big enough for my 19yr old daughter n I to share so overall it was worth it. Ive been to several different Mediterranean restaurants and this place is in my top 5 of all time. I highly recommend this place.

For nearly $90.00 all I can say is it was subpar at best....initially when we ordered our food I was informed they had no baklava understandable it was in the evening an hour before closing. While disappointed we moved on to ordering food. Do we ordered combos 1,2, and 4, falafel appetizer and stuffed grape leaves. Mind you this is a Togo order, after placing the order we proceeded to take a seat in the waiting area..one other patron in the restaurant at the time. As we waited our hostess returns 10 minutes later to inform us they are out of hummus so wanted to know if she could substitute a garden salad. This was for all three combos..of course I didnt want a salad but the wife was ok with it. So I asked if I could get another skewer of meat or 1 order of falafel to sub which I felt was fair considering it wasnt my fault they were out of something and failed to inform us at the beginning of the order. Denied....would not budge on the substitution so we were left in this awkward standoff for like 5 minutes. Then kitchen informed our hostess they would make fresh hummus...at this point 2 other groups of patrons entered the restaurant, we were informed since they were making the hummus fresh it would take an additional 10 minutes...sigh. so we wait....as we are waiting the other two groups were addressed and I didnt think anything of it until I realized they were getting served before us...after being there for 30 minutes now these new customers coming in ten minutes before they close are getting the hummus we were waiting for....so thats it we finally got our food after another 5 minutes and left....never again.

Love, love, love this place!! The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Being of Greek descent myself, Ive been looking for a decent Mediterranean place to eat since being here from Minnesota. A little hole in the wall place nestled off of Bear Valley Road and Mariposa next to the tattoo shop. The food is the best Ive had since being here. Cooked FRESH to order. I had the chicken and lamb plate. It came with a roasted San Marzano tomatoes, fresh hummus, cucumber and tomatoes salad, pita bread that was made there, not store bought, aromatic rice and a jalapeño pepper (spicy, do not eat if youre not into heat, I learned the hard way!) I am a foodie and I HIGHLY recommend this place. My partner and I were happily full afterwards. ☺️

My first time visiting this place. I had a taste for Mediterranean food today and found this gem on Yelp. The food was super delicious 😋 and the owner Alex was so nice and helpful. If youre traveling through the 1-15 to/from Las Vegas, I highly recommend stopping here instead of the mad Greek Cafe thats usually advertised along the roadOur waiter was quick and personable, and was attentive to our table. The food tasted so good! I ordered the lamb gyro, and the meat was tender and the pita soft. Wow, the food was delicious. After having a bad experience with Mediterranean food I was kinda iffy, but after youtube kept recommending Mediterranean food I had to give it one more try and glad I did. The lentil soup was perfect for a cold day, the steak and chicken kebab combo was super filling, rice had great flavor, hummus was good, and the dessert box has been wonderful. Definitely coming back.

I got the Gyro with garlic fries and my friend got the chicken bowl, the portions were so big we had to take some home. The owner Alex told me about how he makes the garlic sauce and it was so fresh. The chicken was so juicy and the rice was so soft, I loved the sumac was the best topping for rice, will definitely be buying some more . The owner was very friendly, welcoming and explained the dishes which I loved. From the hummus to the salad dressing, PITA!! Delicious!!! We ordered the chicken and beef kabobs plate which comes with rice, salad. I loved the taste, can definitely taste the freshness. I tried the coffee with a beautiful background about it and it was so smooth. I live in LA but Im definitely gonna make it out to Victorville as often as possible to come hangout and enjoy the food and great hospitality. First of all the menu pictures dont look anything like the food. In the menu, the portion looks a lot, but in reality its way less and the prices are high.This was a complete rip off. I ordered the chicken kabob plate and was given seven small pieces of chicken and the rice was less. This was a horrible experience and the worst Mediterranean restaurant Ive ever been to.Shame on you for scaming people. You get paid for the food and as a customer we have every right and can legally avoid paying when we didnt even touch the food.Go ahead and post it and share it to social media and the news. The portion of the meal is like 4 star michelin restaurant. What a ridiculous and scammed place it is. What a shame! First, The food didnt match the menus photo. Second, I ordered a $22 meal with tax almost $25 and with the tip of course it would be $30. But, there were only half Skewers of Lula Kabab and few pieces of Tikka Kabab and a little bit of sticky rice. Worst experience in whole my life.

Eating at Mediterranean Island was a wonderful experience all around!The service - run by the family who opened the restaurant - was friendly, helpful, and warm.The Beef Lule kabobs with rice, salad, baba ghanouj, hummus, and baklava were absolutely delicious. We discovered that the meat is ground in house, and the baklava is also based on a family recipe that’s made in house.This was a wonderful reprieve on our long 12-hour drive today, with prompt service + delicious food. Came in to place a To-go order, no other customers there at that time. Ordered 3 combo plates. I took a seat to wait for my food, a family of 3 came in and sat down to dine in. After about 15 mins I was informed that they were still working on my order. I could then see the group that came in after me getting served their food. Sigh 😕. After another 5 mins or so I was served a glass of water. So about 30 to 45 min wait for my order. I believe the prices outweigh the portions and the quality is only so-so. I was hoping we would get a decent place in the area that featured good Mediterranean food, but this isnt it. Not going back. Waiting for AlaDeen on 7th to reopen after remodeling. Super slow service and subpar food is my review.

The food is very good, but the prices are a bit high. What bugged me the most is that they have an Happy hour from 1pm to 4pm. The deal on the menu says: buy one plate and get the second 50% off. As you can see on my receipt my second plate was 25% off, not the 50% off as advertised. Mistake, maybe? But never the less wrong. Will I come back? For the food yes, for the business attitude... No. I hope youll have a better experience than I did.

OMG… I found an amazing Mediterranean restaurant! It’s called Mediterranean Island in Victorville. It’s located on Palmdale road and Kentwood. The food is so good and well worth the price!
