Finally a big Korean market that has choices without additives like stabilizers and chemical preservatives! And has some organic options. Tofu made with magnesium chloride, soy sauce without sodium benzoate, baked goods…. Well the bakery labels had simple ingredients… fingers crossed. I will gladly make a trip down to the San Jose area from San Francisco and shop here.

Just found out about this market. Lots of Korean food and snacks, very similar to HMart. This location is very clean. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. Also, the parking is plentiful with lots of space. This is a huge location!Hot deli has lots of selections, especially prepared hot foods . Prices are reasonable.Baked goods looks very yummy 🤤

MEGA Mart has just recently opened up near the Sunnyvale Auto Mall Tesla Dealership, in the same plaza that used to house a Pet Smart store as well. This one is about 1/3 the size of its much larger Korean supermarket Hankook down El Camino near Sunnyvale/Santa Clara borders.Its very clean, and has pretty much everything youd need in Asian cooking and more. The best part is their bakery and deli counter area in the back, and Im particular, the Mocha Roll is absolutely delicious, as well as many choices of sushi rolls.

Very clean and nice Korean grocery supermarket in Silicon Valley area. Lots of Korean noodle are on sale. Their bakery and fresh Korean food deli are exceptional. Extremely worthwhile. Store is exceptionally high quality with its neatness. Staffs are kind and lots of parking spaces. Its Korean deli selection is the widest in the bay area.

Not sure why, this location is pretty well located within Sunnyvale, yet the stores are constantly changing. It had been sitting empty for quite a while until thankfully Mega Mart has taken over. It offers another good alternative to Hankook Market down El Camino towards Santa Clara/Sunnyvale city borders. Choices are always welcome in my book👅👅They got your typical Asian groceries, produces and meats. I think the best, andodt popular, is their ready-to-eat sections towards the back of the store - from sushis to baked goods 😋😋😋 Im in love with their Mocha Cake, God, its heavenly

This is my favorite korean food craving place! They have fresh, frozen, ready-to-cook, or ready-to-eat food - to eat at home or at their dining tables! Its a grocery store with dining tables for anyone to eat what they bought at the place. They even have microwave available for use.

First time here! We loved this place. There is so many great things to try. Their bakery selection is amazing. Cant wait till i can return again, but with a cooler since i live out of town, lol. We tried the Japanese cheesecake & unfortunately it wasnt that great. We tried another pastry with a whole glazed strawberry on top & it was delicious. we bought a lot more things i didnt take pictures of. You will not be disappointed here, this place is a must visit if you are in the area

A small, clean Korean grocery store that does not sell basil or parsley. The prepared, to-go items are so-so. Eating at a Korean restaurant instead will provide fresher and better texture dishes. This is a nice little grocery store that provides all the ingredients for cooking, particularly, Korean food. A small corner area for eating is convenient for those with kids in tow. Prices are reasonable.

Always nice, clean, brightly lit, welcoming. They have decent sales. I like to buy fruit there; also they always have the cheapest green onions. Theres a pretty extensive ready-made food section, and the one time I bought a sashimi tray it was really good. We also like their in-house-packed water kimchi (Nabak-Kimchi) that can be found in the ready made food aisle.

Relatively new and clean Korean/Asian super market I’ve been to in the Santa Clara county. They have a wide range of fruits, veggies, meat and frozen products. They had good deals during their grand opening. I love there marketplace and bakery products. Really fresh and tasty.

Relatively new market to an area that has a good amount of new construction happening. Super clean and following sanitary safety with gloves, clean wipes and hand sanitizer at the entrance. Also a staff member at the entrance monitoring that the protocols are followed. Staff is helpful and friendly. Produce very fresh and a great selection and varieties of produce that are harder to find like the red radish in picture. They have a great hot and prepared foods section. The hot food section currently has a 30% of promotion to celebrate the store opening. I feel its a bit of a gimmick since the prices seem higher than other stores but the quality of the hot foods section is good so its all good. They often have promotions on items all over the store and promotions are clearly marked. Good way to encourage repeat visits.

The K market, perviously New Leaf location site. Design wise, they don’t have to put much effort in redesigning this place, so they have the most ‘updated’ layout amongst other korean market competitors.Layout: very busy and full of products.Food & bakery: the time Of my visit, most food are on discount and offers more variety.But taste wise, i think they still have much to learn from their competitors.Bakery: i tried their strawberry cheesecake. It looks great but its kind of dry.They also offer ‘membership’ where you can ask them to sign you up. With Korean market the only thing I do not understand is how the point calculated and at what point, you get to claim the prize..Hopefully they can continue to improve om their prepared foods section.

I drove past this place for months before realizing it was a Korean grocery store! So glad I decided to check it out.They have your standard selection of asian produce, but what really makes this place stand apart from the competition is their premade, ready-to-eat food. Their banchan/side dish selection is huge. They have other food like kimbap, Korean fried chicken, rice bowls with bulgogi, myungrang hot dogs, and a full Korean bakery. I was so impressed by the variety. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice and Clean Korean store. It close to Comerica Bank, walking distance. Came here for Soba noodles frozen or dry. But the soba noodles here are not 100% buckwheat ☹️. It is cut with wheat flour to save money. Good to pick up fresh ingredients: milk, vegetables, and or fruit. Parking is plentiful and staff is friendly.

Everyone wears a masks. 6ft apart stickers. There are disinfectant & wipes available.I felt safe and the place looks clean. It’s about 5-10% more expensive than a regular Asian supermarket but the cleanliness and abundant amount selection makes up for the pricing.HUGE selection of korean foods from cooked, frozen to fresh.The cooked foods were tasty! I would recommend this place if you’re within the neighborhood.

Was very excited visit this place after my friend posted about it. We have Kukje Supermarket near me, but I was interested in checking out this spot.First impression of this place is that its nice and new. They currently provide plastic food prep gloves for shoppers to use. The place is very large and you can very well take an hour going through all of the aisles. We didnt have much in mind to buy, but did indeed take our time browsing. They have an extensive section of frozen sliced meats for both hot pot and bbq.Their kimchi fridges are great! I love the aesthetic of it. The hot foods as well as the sushi are decnrly priced. When we went there was a 30% discount on certain items. Their made to order food section was not open, but there were a ton of employees working to prep food.Overall a nice spot for groceries. I would probably come back for hot pot meats.

This is closer than HMart so we shop here at least once a month to restock any Asian and Korean food items.We like the store made food items tooKimbaps are great snack!They have huge steamed buns and sometimes can be on sale!Their bakery has many kinds of pastries and bread.The produce is pretty good but sometimes we had gotten some things that werent the best.Fruits such as apples can be hit/miss flavor & texture wise.Frozen food section is massive and you can find many different things from frozen meat/seafood to large selection of frozen dumplings.Kimchee section is pretty nice, and it is nice they carry some local brands.Overall great place to stock up or grab quick Korean food.

I wonder why they changed the name from K Market to Mega Mart. UPDATE: The selection of precooked food seems to have shrunk a little bit, but the stuff on offer is still very tasty as far as I have tried.

I dont mind if prices go up for the original Korean boneless chicken in the box due to inflation. Not long ago, K-Market mixed Korean rice cakes with boneless chicken so that they kept the same price. Today, I bought another box Crisp & sweet Chicken. My wife and I were very disappointed when we opened the box at home. There are mixed rice cake with chicken wings. That should be a separate product for people who like chicken wings. K-Market lost customers because they are not really honest to what they label to sell.

Been to Mega Mart so many times, and even before when it was K Market. They have a great variety of Korean groceries and other Asian goods.The store is fairly large and has all the sections you’d expect from an Asian grocery mart including produce, meat (areas divided up for hot pot and such too), everyday supplies, bakery, pre-prepped foods, a food court, and even a refrigeration section for kimchi. I like that the store is fairly clean.I also frequent the hot food items because they are really just as good as some of the things I’d order from restaurants. If you live in the area, you’re totally covered for all things Korean groceries without needing to travel to an H Mart further away.Get the membership as well if you go frequently to build up points - not all the store clerks ask if you have one when checking out.

Update 11/26: sadly having to change my 5 to 3 star. This is the second time Ive been here with wrong udon prices. Will you please update the udon prices. I had a loud conversation with the cashier (I am not Korean) where I pointed out that the English words matched and the Korean characters looked the same. If the product isnt 3.99, change it!!! There are two types of udon with the WRONG price! The cashier would not honour any of the prices I pointed out and I asked her if they would update the prices and had to say it 3 times before she rudely agreed. I still dont know if she was wrong or not since she kept saying different brand different brand but everything matched???Original review:I felt safe here. You can grab a pair of gloves, hand sanitizer or wipes, and wipe for your basket.There are good selections of everything.Some hot food items are 50 percent off after 7pm.

Formerly known as The K Market. This store is very clean with a .operate selection of produce & meats. Prices are a bit higher than other stores around it but, whatever you buy at this store is surely going to be up to date, not expired and fresh. All employees I have talked to seem to be friendly, helpful & professional. They have a bakery that bakes pretty good & tasty treats, namely their red bean paste bread! Theyre $2.50 ea. But, if youre lucky enough to find any left at or after 7:00pm youll get them 1/2 price!

My new favourite Korean Supermarket...THE K MARKET over H-Mart any day of the week, and twice on Sundays! even though I live down the street from H-MartMake sure to stop here so you can satisfy all cravings that are Korean. Big, Clean, Spacious, Bright...nothing to complain about. I absolutely love the hot / fresh food section. Sooo much variety, not to mention great value as well. As of this review the hot food is still 30% off...shhhh!!! I thought it was only a grand opening special, but looks like K MARKET extended the promotion? I did hear from one of my dear friends that the pickings are slim in the evening..cant verify since I havent been here in the evenings. I suggested she go around lunchtime...the verdict: she said it was like night and day, there were way more dishes available and nothing was sold out.My favourite dish at the moment is the Unagi Rice Bowls. This modern, more mainstream American version of a Korean market has a deli and a bakery, as well as most anything else you need: fresh veggies, meat for grilling and for hot pot, sushi grade fish, kimchi, banchan, soju, beer, noodles, anchovies and tofu, just to name a few. The occasional sale on rice bowls in the deli make for good, affordable Asian fast food. They lack the clothing and makeup stalls as well as the seafood alley that Hankook has, but are reasonably comparable in most other respects. The name change from K Market to Mega Mart doesnt appear to have altered much on the surface.

I really like this company. I absolutely love their prepared meals, fresh ingredients all prepared. .. They are so delicious and healthy. In fact, I think its on par with most Korean restaurants .My favorites are the Japchae, rice bowls (marinated salmon over rice +babogi over rice), and the soy sauce fried chicken wings . K mart is one of a relatively new Korean market in South Bay Area. It has good variety of products and my favorite section is deli. It has food ready to eat in a reasonable price, if you are not hurry I would recommend to get those food after rush hours and get some discount would be affordable to most of the people. I personally like sushi rolls and some rice dishes. The bakery is also very good, I have tried the rolls and cream puffs, taste very good.

Surprisingly fresh vegetables! They also sell freshly made tofu by a local vendor and local kimchi as well. However my favorite items have to be their fruit tarts and cream breads!! They always sell out early so definitely dont come too late if youre stopping by on a weekend. EDIT - every time I come here the staff and cashiers are just so friendly. Ive never felt more positive energy radiating from grocery store employees than I have from people here. It really makes my day every time I visit

The hype for this store is real. Open early at 8am and by 9 they have fresh sushi and hot meals to go which was a welcome treat since most places that serve these foods open after 11. Even though this place is somewhat expensive compared to even Safeway across the street, they have an interesting selection of items that you might only be able to obtain at a store like this. I love shopping here at this korean market, it has a big parking lot, good choices of shopping carts from small cart to regular size cart at your own convenience, great customer service plus usually its not crowded like H Mart. The hot food is a must get if you arrived when they still have them hot and ready to eat. They have a lot of delicious selection from sushi, kimbap, soup, rice cake, rice bowls, to fried chicken. Drove by and saw this Korean market which we thought was witty because its K Mart a la H Mart. Its much smaller but has the same offering just less variety and quantity of those products because the store is smaller. Great quality and price in the produce area. Not sure if its because theyre new but the prices were great all around. Their food court has a 30% off happy hour and the food is decent fair for grocery food court. The ban-chan aisle has a good selection. They also have a nice bakery with many delicious looking options. I only took a quick look but I knew Id be back for the baked goods. They had hand sanitizer and wipes at the entrance for you to clean the carts. Parking was also plenty available considering the lot didnt have many shops. Its my first time at a Korean market and I was apprehensive that I wouldnt be able to read the product names but they had an English tag for everything. They had some fruits and vegetables like longan, chives, many different mushrooms, etc that I dont normally find in regular grocery stores. Their bakery selection was better than most other places like Paris Baguette. For things like gochujang paste and kimchi they had small containers as well as big ones, its nice that I can try it out and if I dont like it I wouldnt be wasting a lot. I am not sure about how good their selection is from a Korean cuisine perspective which is why I am not giving it the full 5 stars. I’m so glad I decided to stop in. The K Market is the newest Korean market addition to the area. There are a few others in the Korean area of Sunnyvale and Santa Clara. It’s worth a stop if you see items on sale; some regular-priced items are more expensive that competitor Korean markets. However, what sets them apart is their hot food section. I came around 2:30pm and many of the prepared foods (boxed up fresh food) was HALF OFF! It’s worth it to come for the items that are discounted since you can take it home and heat it up for a meal. I have bought their pre made dinners 3 times in the last 7 weeks. The first time everything was great and delicious plus it was 50% off for grand opening. The last 2 times not so good. The salmon last time was not very flavorful and the rice was not soft. Today the rice again is hard and did not soften in the micro with a wet towel over it. Local Korean Supermarket. Gone there twice now. Once to explore and once on a mission. Exploring was a blast! Found so many things: kimbap, a wide selection of meats and seafood (frozen and sushi grade), a great selection of kimchee, fresh produce including some rarities like mushrooms and lychee that you dont see at Safeway (across the street), and they also have a bakery and make Korean fried chicken and bibimbap bowls to go. However, my second visit I went really early on a Monday morning and they didnt have as much out yet in their bakery or to-go section. This Korean market positions itself a bit more pricey and upper-end than Hankook Supermarket down the street. It has everything and perhaps a bit more modern interior given they are newer. However shopping here is really stressful due to the stuffed aisles. They really jam-packed columns and it is tough to have two carts pass by each other. Be aware, I bought banana today and was charged for Korean melon (3x the price) by the cashier. I had to correct the cashier.Check your receipt or else you will be overcharged for random items!

It looks fancy at first, but very few selections in vegetables and fruits. Even worse is that when I talked to the manager for some products and when checkout, I felt her attitude was so selfish, and not helpful at all, totally not-customer-oriented. The manager literally forced customers to do work for her.

Have all the stuff I needed and very stocked up with variety of items. The staffs were a little bit pushy/too close for comfort but I didn’t mind because I got my stuff. Though, some of the staffs didn’t know what items were so I was told all differently until one showed me where it was. Had to go back and forth just to find one item. Thank you to that one staff were being so helpful but the others just needed to say “sorry I don’t know where that is” instead of having me run back and forth.
