My favorite sushi spot in the IE. Its tucked away in Highland, next to a ramen spot. Every roll Ive ever ordered has been delicious, fresh, and a work of art. I highly recommend trying the plum wine if youve never had it before or just didnt care for others that youve tried. The dining area is a little small, but other sushi places in the area have even smaller ones so Im satisfied with the amount of elbow space at my table. Fare warning, the miso soup does not have any tofu but the flavors are excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover!

First off, let me just say that the staff here are so kind, patient, and awesome. We were on a twelve hour road trip from Phoenix, Az to Monterey, Ca and our toddler was cranky after being stuck in a car seat for half the day. He proceeded to half a full on meltdown as we walked into the restaurant, and despite our embarrassment, the staff took it all in stride, laughing when I said, “Table for three adults and one little monster.” He settled down after a minute or two of doing what toddlers do best, riding an emotional rollercoaster.The service was SUPER fast, so fast it caught us off guard. Appetizers and rolls were coming out back to back, despite there being half a restaurant of patrons. Kudos to the sushi chefs and waitstaff.The atmosphere wasn’t much different than other sushi restaurants(outside of the family that brought in their toddler having a meltdown).The rolls weren’t great, but they weren’t bad. Some were really good(the special rolls), while others were run of the mill(basic rolls). I don’t think this is specific to this particular restaurant. It seems like smart marketing to get you to order more high end rolls(even tho that doesn’t mKe sense at an all you can eat sushi restaurant).Our bill came to $93(we all ordered waters to drink), but we definitely got our money’s worth.Check them out. I think you’ll like them. And if there’s a screaming toddler, it isn’t ours. We took ours home to Monterey.

Update 9/13/23 Fish quality has been in decline for awhile. New chefs just arent the same. Still decent but not what it used to be.Always a good time at Meiga. Staff is friendly. Sushi is good! Fair amount of rice to fish ratio on AYCE. 😋

Super good place to eat, food was delicious and the service was outstanding ☺️, staff was the best.I recommend the (Golden tiger Roll) for sweet drink I recommend ( Strawberry Nigori) best drink ever.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!My 2 year old was with us at the time and he started to cry and the waitress was super nice and brought him some ice cream so he could calm down.Thank you MEIGA SUSHI, you guys are the best in Town!!!!!

Waited about 20 min to be seated Everyone was nice and the sushi 🍣 chefs 👨‍🍳 👨‍🍳 👨‍🍳 greet you when walk in and say goodbye when you leave. Rolls were good. There was a roll with not the best avocado but no big deal. Overall had a great time.

Had lunch here on a weekend. The place was busy, but they were able to seat us. The prices were reasonable. They gave us on the house Shrimp Tempura along with other side dishes. Being this was our first time here, we were quite surprised by this generous hospitality. The food taste very good and we will definitely be back!

2nd time going. Both times were great. Slight wait time (25 min), the food was worth the wait though. AYCE is reasonably priced with great choices. Service was pleasant and attentive. Only problem was single use restrooms made it a little difficult to wash hands if it was occupied by inconsiderate people (on phone walking out after 15 min...).

Meiga is our go to sushi spot. We always enjoy the sushi at Meiga. The green mussels arrived warm and seemed to have been sitting out for a while prior to being served. This is the only time this has happened. They have great special rolls and other choices for those who want something cooked. Give Meiga a shot you wont be disappointed. Enjoy!

Decent sushi spot for AYCE . Food is good, the Spider roll is my favorite. Waitresses are nice and the service is quick. There is usually a wait time, it’s pretty popular. It’s a good idea not to be in there too late because the owner (or an employee not sure)Will tell you as soon as you sit down to order all at once because it’s “last call”.

I was not a fan of the food at all. I came here because my sushi spot closed down for remodel and wanted to see what the hype was about. We all did not like it at all. It tasted like old water down.. gross like 🤢 Now I am having stomach issues and feel like throwing up. No shade but I don’t get the hype. Not the best sushi quality. I guess I’m used to top tier. The ice cream was good though. I just hate spending a-lot of money on food I disliked. The service was good. They make you pay for rolls you don’t eat. None of us were satisfied. We still ate it because we were already paying a-lot for it. I think that’s why my stomach hurts now. I am not a super picky eater but this food was low to below mid. No disrespect but I am literally feeling sick. Waste of my money for disgusting food.

This is a very intimate environment to have very delicious all you can eat sushi. The service was great and friendly. The booths are semi private, great for a date. They have a really good expansive list for the AYCE menu. They had a good selection of no rice options if you are watching carbs.

Just got back from eating here and let me tell you its as good as I remember it! Always very tasty fresh fish! The sushi is always good you might get a piece here and there thats a little tough depending on the fish but ultimately its really good. I like the fact that they have the blue fin tuna still and also customer service was great today like any place they have their ups and downs but I can honestly say that my family and I had an enjoyable evening and Meiga can expect us to return!

Dont get me wrong but being seated next to the trash cart not my ideal. Being told I had to sit next to it the whole time, not my ideal. I dont know what was up with the chefs but the nigiri rice to fish ratio was way too low. Couldnt even pick up the rice because it was the size of my thumbnail and I got big hands. Every time I order gyoza and the nuggets for my babies they short them whats on the menu. Dont even get me started with the almost 50% price increase. Last time I went we spent just under 100 and I gave an additional 20 tip. Good grief

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant. The service is always 💯+ and so is the sushi, rolls, and appetizers! My favorites are the Cajun salmon, sexy roll, Las Vegas, and dynamite. The dynamite is especially bomb if you dip the tempera vegatables in it instead of the wonton chip. This place is definitely the best sushi restaurant in the i.e. 😍👏👍

Felt like an (all you can eat) Sushi day for lunch/dinner and wanted it from a place I had never been. Found this place and took an Uber there. I will definitely be back. The Sushi was fresh as expected. The service was prompt and courteous. They had no issue seating me at a booth. I thought the sushi sizes were fair for an all you can eat sushi establishment. The location was ok/decent. The music was a nice mix of pop tunes. Atmosphere was comfortable, not fancy. I liked the simple layout. I added apple sake to my order to compliment the meal. Afterwards, they offered me ice cream on the house but I declined. I left and heard several thank yous for coming.. Yep, would definitely recommend them.

12/23 After covid the prices have skyrocketed. The service is still bad but the only reason why I go back is the food. But for $36-$40 for AYCE I can not come here as regularly as I used to.5/1/22 I continue to come here because of the food definitely not the customer service, decor, friendliness, etc. This really is my favorite sushi spot because of the recipes. But now I almost dread getting AYCE here because of the customer service. The waitresses are so so rude. It is always busy which is good, but the way they rush you and shove as many people in at a time is not considerate of personal space. My husband and I have found a good restaurant we started to prefer now in rancho Cucamonga9-11-18 This is my favorite sushi spot because of thier recipes. As far as the customer service it is very bad. I had set a reservation for 20 people on a Saturday but only 16 showed up. The head server an older asian woman with dark black hair made a lot of rude comments about the fact that one table that was set aside for my party was used for gift only. It was my birthday. While we were leaving she kept making rude comments like, why you make reservations for so many people. Only 4 didnt show up.

This place has horrible service. Its a long one but worth the read. We were ordering rolls/ all you can eat and Saki. So we were spending money. I asked if they can make a scrabble egg for my son they said no. Not very many options for kids so grandpa takes my son to get a Happy Meal. They come back and the lady tells me no outside food. I said its just for my son she said no take him outside to eat.(my son was just watching wanting to eat) When she said that I got really upset I told her Im not taking him outside we are spending money and ordering its not that serious to allow him to eat his burger & fries. I asked for the manger she said she was it I said this is very poor customer service on her part. She said she would let him eat this time only. Then the bill comes and she added the tip automatically she said it was for 6 or more people mind you it was only 5 of us. She knew I wasnt got to leave a tip so she added it herself. I questioned it but she refused to take it off. I was so done with this place I couldnt enjoy my food or drinks we where there celebrating my brothers birthday she just rained on our parade. Never again are we coming here. My recommendation Dont give your hard earned money to this place that treats kids like this they dont deserve it. Thank you

We got there fairly close to close, so we ordered everything all at once as they recommended. Service was great, food was fresh and tasty, but the server got strange near close like we were going to dine and dash or something. Then after I paid, and even tipped nearly $20, the server stood in the corner of the room and continued to stare at us as we ate. Strange and a bit uncomfortable...We started getting full near the end, and then they surprised us with the final plate of our order. We had thought they brought everything at once. We struggled to finish the last few pieces as the girl stood in the corner staring at us.I was hoping with the tip, and the fact that everyone else left before we struggled to finish our last 4 - 5 pieces, that they might have let us just take it to go so they could finish cleaning up to close and go home. But, nope! They made us finish every last piece first.I understand the policy about the food. Im very against food waste. But I cant get over the girl staring at us. Because of the girl, well likely never return, and I unfortunately cant recommend the place.

Honestly, the food was mediocre 😕, if youre a tobacco smoker good luck they dont allow you to smoke anywhere near the building, my daughter was just going to have a quick smoke before she had dinner it had been a long day and they went out and harassed her for being by the building not even in front, couldnt go anywhere else the area is horrible so many homeless and strange people standing around looking suspicious, then they made us feel rushed, plus Im celiac disease, they dont have any single option for us so if your celiac I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! I had asked and they looked at me crazy, started talking in their language, and walked off, Im dead that was just absolutely rude and the worse experience in a long time. I used to come here for all you can eat a lot, because I love seafood and they used to have good staff. But now the service is horrible, they have many empty tables and 5 waitress got nothing to do but to bug us with our check while we were still eating. My friend want to order a lobster ball but the waitress refused her and keep saying that she should finish her plate first, and when we finally get the lobster ball, they give us our check without we asking. So we left the check in the corner of the table and keep eating, they would literally move the check right in between us in the middle of the table (cant be more obvious than that). That was just rude, if they were busy or near the closing hour I would understand, but the restaurant was half empty and it was 6pm so thats not the case. They just lost two more customers from todays experience.

Ive eaten here often. I was one of the first customers when it first opened up months ago. I was very impressed with the owner / sushi chef and his staff. The food quality is great. The freshness of the Sushi Great as well. The staff is quick and efficient. Tyler, one of the servers, has been there for quite a while and is very good at what he does. Good service, great sushi. I take my family once a week for the all you can eat. Its a great deal, we love it.

Muscles were good, tempura shrimp was good, fried calamari wasnt the greatest unfortunately. The actual sushi was all great. Their spicy rolls werent that spicy, so anyone should be able to handle it. The rolls and nigiri all tasted fresh and delicious. Their prices were really great as well. Overall, I recommend this place if youre looking for quality sushi with low prices. Also probably one of the safest places to dine out in the Inland empire

This restaurant has been our go to for eat in Japanese food. We just had yet another wonderful meal here.First the staff provides you sanitizer and takes your temperature. Its impressive that they take their health measures so seriously.We were given just the right amount of time to read the menu but our drink order was taken right away.It was dinner time and the restaurant was full inside and outdoors but our order started coming out very quickly.Many restaurants are not fully staffed right now but there was no issue at Meiga.Food was hot, delicious, and we ate way too much. Staff is definitely ageist and hasnt taken me seriously on multiple occasions when Ive tried to pay the bill, going as far as taking the cash Ive given them, and counting it slowly to see if its legitimate and gave them the right amount (keep in mind this has never happened when someone older than I had paid). I really love this place. My mother and I have been going there since it opened. The staff is pretty nice. There is one lady at the register who sometimes has a bit of an attitude but don’t worry the rest of the wait staff makes up for it. They’re pretty helpful actually. This place also gives free shrimp tempura before your meal and free green tea ice cream after. I recommend their pizza roll, their California roll, and their Alaska roll. You won’t be disappointed trust me.

So went twice in a week span. The first time I didnt sit down to eat. Apparently they stop taking orders half an hour before they close and I got there 45 mins before closing. The lady at the register gave a bit of attitude when she let me know this information which I just brushed off due to it being a long day figured maybe I just took it wrong.Second time I went (about 3 days later) was around 5pm and the same lady was at the register. She had an attitude and looked bothered that she had to seat us(my daughter and I). I guess it wasnt simply me thinking she had an attitude the last time.I would go back simply because the sushi itself is good and the other waitresses were actually helpful and nice. Hopefully the other lady at the register either changes her attitude or gets swapped out for a friendlier person to be the first one to greet you as you walk in.

I had come to the conclusion that all sushi places in the area where the same, which in not a bad thing, but I could not differentiate between flavors.I met some college friends for a bday dinner and our party was originally headed to another local sushi spot, but they were closing within the hour, and yelp led us here, since they close at 10 PM. I was very pleasantly surprised.The server was super cool, they sang for my friend and gave us a table desert on the house. Really nice, they dimmed the lights too and gave him a glow in dark hat. The food was the best part.The hand rolls here have very large portions of fish, and I have not sound anywhere else that has that Rich flavor on the hand rolls. They cut rolls also have generous amounts of fish and its very delicious.I been to another 5-6 sushi spots since finding Meiga, but I have not found a place that can match them in the IE so far. Only a place in LA, but thats another review.I now make a special 30 min trip to San B. To have this sushi.

This place is *amazing*. The portions are generous and the prices are incredibly low for what you get. I always do the all-you-can-eat option. For $23 you get an insane amount of high-quality sushi and fish. Be careful not to order too much at once; they give you A LOT. First Time trying it and it was awesome! My husband and I chose the All you can eat option which cost $25 per person due to being dinner but totally worth it. You get 3 rounds but trust me if you order 6 different kinds of sushi on the first round (like we did) is more than enough! Boy were we full! We tried the rainbow roll, California, Hawaii roll, teriyaki chicken and some other ones. All of them were fresh and delicious!!! With drinks and all we end up paying around $61.50 tax included (tip separately). I will definitely be returning 😋

Very very bad restaurant. When they take your phone order, they cannot get the proper way to keep track of the order. (Example) when you call to make an order they ask for your name for pick up. But when you get there theyre asking for a number which they didnt ask over the phone. On top of that the girl is not helpful and it seems as if they have an attitude as if they dont need our service and make you feel like youre not wanted there even if youre there only for a brief time and pick up order. As it goes I will, my friends and my family will never patron at this low class restaurant again.

She said I will remember you, next time you come, I will try to do something for you. Why cant you do something now and make a change on the charge? The food is great. I always go for the all you can eat sushi. However this outing i had invited some friends they have never been there so they were excited and wanted to try everything...We had just ordered our second round and the cashier approached our table and very rudely lectured us how we needed to eat what we ordered or pay extra.This situation is never happened to me and I always paid for what I ordered and I will never go back to this establishment.. to say the least Im excited to try Miguels sushi in Rialto Ive heard nothing but great things from them😁

This is the second time that Ive been here, and Im so glad that first time just wasnt a fluke.The atmosphere here is so comfortable; ones of the sushi chefs bring you complimentary shrimp tempura.If youre in the area and want Sushi check this place out, you wont be disappointed.

Delicious food, made fresh. My wife and I had the all you can eat and they have a big selection, everything was made fresh and fast. By the second round we were stuffed. Very good customer service. Thank you everyone!

When to have all you can eat they said it would be a 15-minute wait we got there and it was an hour wait and then they told us we have a limited time and still expected to pay for all you can eat Ive had better service there I dont know what went wrong with them they just dont understand all you can eat and when you paid the full price I dont know bad review bad bad

The restaurant and staff were good but one thing you have to ASK ! How much meat is in a single dish. Food wasnt satisfying I ordered Shrimp Tempura and I got 1 shrimp on my plate????? Also the miso soup was cold and only had seaweed. I was wondering if the 1 shrimp was only for Decoration. Will never go again.

I was asked if I wanted to be seated in the back, I said yes being that the place was full and I had my baby with me. I was seated in a corner, my son and I just stood there trying to figure out how it was going to work with us two, a carseat and a highchair. The waitress just kept bringing menus, we were not even seated ...still standing, and were asked what we wanted to drink. It felt very rushed and frustrating for us. Anyway, we finally just squished ourselves in the corner and made it work. The first male waiter was very rude. The table next to us had just gotten some ice cream served and offered it to my son because they were so full. My son said yes and took it while we waited on our food. The male waiter goes and takes the plate from in front of my son and gives it back to the table next to us and packs it for them and tells us, you will get your ice cream after your meal! Ewww, what an unpleasant attitude to have and rude thing to do, I was appalled . Also after our first round of sushi, we just sat there waiting for someone to put our order in for the second round, and nothing. I had to ask a waitress to please take my order. The waitress that was supposed to be attending us would come after we were already helped by someone else, she did keep refilling our drinks though, and was very polite. Overall, the staff was very friendly, especially the chefs. The one rude male waiter was the only problem, way to welcome someone. Some of the sushi was good like the cucumber roll, the OMG roll and the vegetable roll. The other sushi was blah. That was just my experience my first time. I would of left a bigger tip had it been a different welcoming but, dont think I would come here again.

This was our first time going and we wanted to try something different other than miyagis down the road. I was pleasantly surprised how great their food is and how friendly the staff were. This is definitely going to become our new favorite local sushi spot and sorry to say but miyagis down the road doesnt even compare to this place. Were already looking forward to our next visit.

This was my first time here and they messed up on my order badly they gave me a wrong order and replaced my crab for shrimp and I think with that mistake she gave me extra food. None of my food carry raw fish as we dont like and she said it came with it?? Thats not how the picture was like so I came back from home and disscus the issue with her and she made a scene so took my order back spent $30 here and got charge extra i wouldnt recommend this place. There is a good sushi place in redlands in the shopping center of mountain grove.

Ive been here several times over the last couple of times and Im always pleased with the food. I am especially fond of the teriyaki salmon and the Udon soup. The only reason they dont get 5 stars is the service. It tends to be a bit slow at times.

Food is incredible. I recommend the salmon roe, its really good. It was little too crowded for my family and I, but cant blame a place for being popular.
