Delicious! I got the Big boy Pad see ewe and it was massive. The tray feeds 4 people easy. So good I came back for a second time this week.Probably my favorite Thai spot. Massive portions

This has quickly become my favorite Thai restaurant. Everything was really excellent! Theyre also open till 2 a.m., so you can eat delicious meals late at night.I like how the dish isnt overly saucy. And all of the flavors came from actual spices. Perfection!

Hands down, the WORST Thai I’ve ever ever had. I have no idea why this place has 4 stars, you’ve got to be so drunk and messed up to enjoy this place.I ordered the Chicken Tom Kha - it was not good. There was a lot of chicken, a lot of DRY chicken. Soup itself was too sour, imagine watered down coconut milk and a lot of vinegar.I was super excited to order my favourite: Khao Soi but this place butchered it so much I wanted to cry. They used instant noodle cooked al dente with a lot of the driest chicken again. Flavours were not there either.There was nothing redeeming about my experience. If you’re looking for a late night bite, PLEASE do yourself a favour and get some In and Out.

Perfect dinner! This has definitely become my new favourite restaurant in L.A.!! 😍 Not only the staff are all friendly AND Thais (meaning ud likely be getting a truly authentic Thai food here like I had 🥰🥰🥰), also the prices are so reasonable given the amount of food you get!! 😋😋Highly recommended to anyone who would like to have a real taste of Thai food!!!

Pretty gross. Empty resturaunt. Pad thai consisted of noodles, overcooked chicken,a few bean sprouts and peanut crumbles in an overly sweet sauce. The restroom smelled llike raw sewage and was right next to the kitchen.

Run, run, run. This was the absolute worst Thai food we ever had. I got Orange Chicken. My wife got yellow curry chicken. I could barely eat mine.We arrived around 7:20 for pickup orders, and the entire restaurant was empty. It smelled funny, too, like sour food.My dish had green onions and broccoli in it. They included the wilted parts of the green onions that youd normally throw out, so I had to pick those out.The chicken was rubbery and tough in both dishes, clearly theyd microwaved a pre-cooked dish.This place seems like a high level food safety violation place. We only hope we dont get food poisoning. Sure wish I had tried the food before leaving a tip.My meal was practically unedible.

We needed a place to eat after a concert and this restaurant was open late. It was quiet and we were not sure how it would be. What a wonderful surprise. We eat a lot of Thai food and I can honestly say, this food is was DELICIOUS!! The portions were so generous and the quality was top notch. I can’t wait to go back next time we are in LA. This place is the bomb. I order takeout from here frequently and its always consistently good and as a bonus it always arrives warm! That may seem like a little thing but Im always getting lukewarm food went it arrives to my place. So I really appreciate it when its perfect. Ive had a few things from here: the Davids Special ($19), Orange chicken and coconut rice ($19), Pauls Special ($21) and Picolos special ($19). All are SO GOOD! My personal favorites are Davids special which is minced chicken over rice with a fried egg and Pauls special which is shrimp over garlic noodles. The portions are also really big so I often have leftovers. I highly highly recommend this place.

The pad Thai was mushy and bland—with dry chicken. The beef broccoli was anemic and watery. The pork belly was ok but the sauce was very watery and flavorless. Spent over $65 on 3 large dishes. I will never order from here again, even though they are open late nights. The food is not worth it or the wait.

Look, I spent 100$ including tip. Food was absolutely not the best but also not the worst. Im not complaining or bashing them. They simply are a family owned shop trying to survive. They need support like everyone else. So on that note thank you. Keep up the great work! Maybe try adding more spice and flavor but good atmosphere, clean menus, silverware and plates. Hidden jem in the Beverley Hilla area. Very handy place not from the hotel I stayed near by. Family loved it. The portions were great, the food was very authentic. Drunken Noodle was my favorite dish. Delicious.They would also open very late in the night, that was very nifty while visiting the city. We could be coming back late in the evening and still put an order in. It worked out amazing. Also, very friendly staff.Thank you Melanee Thai for an amazing experience.

Their lunch special is one of the best deals around! For just under $10, you get a complimentary soup (okay) and salad (small, good flavor but not as paste-y as you’d like to see a ginger dressing) and a sizable entree. I’ve never been here for dinner, but it doesn’t feel like a smaller, “lunch-sized” portion that you normally get at Thai restaurants. The service was very kind and attentive. I got the Pad See Ew and enjoyed it, would definitely bring a friend and come again.

I haven’t tried a lot of the dishes here so I will be fair. This is not the place to go to for drunken noodles or pad ke mow. I have given this place a second try and it is horrible. Tasteless and definitely no heat. I can home cook the meal way better than this but sometimes I want the real thing. This is not it. Not good at all

I would absolutely eat here again! A colleague and I stopped in for lunch and splurged on several dishes (neither of us had breakfast). We were pleased with all of our selections. Everything was tasty. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable. If youre ever in the area, stop in.

I have lived in Thailand for about 5 years of my life training in martial arts and bodywork. There are very few real Thai restaurants in LA, most of them catering to the tastes of the locals/Farang who prefer two flavors: sweet and salty. Melanee is one of the only places I can get real Thai food with all of the real flavors. Every dish here is outstanding. I feel lucky to have such a great restaurant in my neighborhood. The family who runs this place are incredibly nice, polite people who bend over backwards to make your experience here first rate.

Before the pandemic they were my favorite go to Thai restaurant. The last four times we’ve ordered dinner for our family, we have been highly disappointed!!! Pad thai, For instance was only a pile of noodles with some chicken. No peanuts no bean sprouts no vegetables at all literally just bland noodles with chicken!?! I called Paul and asked him what happened to the peanuts? Can’t do it anymore people have peanut allergies (he explained) & they are not including vegetables in any of their meals until the pandemic is over. Don’t ask me why... it really hurts us not to patronize this place anymore but we literally ran out of menu items to be disappointed with.

Weve been there for the first time and the food was so good!I arrive and all the food was ready and correct by 12:15 like they said. I ordered the Yellow Curry lunch special and you get a lot of food for not much money. It came with a large amount of rice, 2 potstickers, a small salad and the curry (obviously).The best part was the curry wasnt full of huge carrot and potato pieces like every other curry dish i have ever had. It had a nice mix of veggies and was very tasty.I had a very good experience here. I would definitely go back.

Nice relaxing and reliable place for lunch. Quiet and priced right. The cabbage soup seams simple, but is always comforting and tasty. The curries are always a good idea and the Thai chili fish with the fried shrimp apps are really tasty. Paul is always a gracious host.

I am lucky enough to work a few doors down from, Melanee Thai and frequent it for lunch most days. I like to try something new, and, consistently, am floored at the flavor, portion, and hospitality. The purveyor, Paul, is a prince among men. He and his staff are quick and attentive. I highly recommend the red curry and specials on the back page, in particular Crystals Special, friend pork over chicken friend rice.

OMG! Worst Thai food, ever. Pad Thai was electric orange, flavorless mush. Other dish was some flat noodle with raw white onions.Hate to bash a restaurant, but I spent $31.00 for two dishes, and had to throw them out. It’s 12:50 am, and all I can taste is the rancid flavor, still in my mouth. Sorry, owners, but your food is horrible.

Dont eat here! Wish I could have the option for negative stars. I ordered 2 entrees, 2 starters and a small rice to be delivered. The order was placed and confirmed at 9:06 pm with an estimated delivery time of 30-45 min. The delivery arrived at 11:10 pm. The driver first said he blew a tire and then a few minutes later said he was in an accident. When asked which it was and why he didnt call the number on the order slip with the phone that was in his hand, he got flustered and said he had to go and hurried off. The food was ice cold and the wontons and egg rolls were also very soggy. The rice was cold and hard as a brick and the entrees looked as if they were knocked over in his car, put back in the containers and were also ice cold. I wouldnt have fed any of it to my dog. They charged me $60.13 for this and when Eat24, the service I used to place the order, had to call the owner to see what they could do to correct this for me, the owner said they would do nothing. So, I paid $60.13 for food I had to throw away, a delivery guy who lied to me, a ruined evening and its 11:20pm and Im cooking my own dinner since everywhere is closed. This place is awful and the owners clearly dont give a rip about their customers. Karma is tough and the owner has some coming there way.

We ordered this meal from Eat 24. It arrived an hour and twenty minutes after we ordered it. It cost us sixty dollars.I screamed at the door to the driver: BET THE FOOD IS COLD.He giggled this awkward laugh and said ...oh no...oh no...He was right. Oh no *indeed.*Let me tell you how disgusting this food was:The Vietnamese Spring Rolls: Falling apart. slimy outer casing. LukewarmThe Steamed Dumplings: Lukewarm also slimy outside dough for a wrappingThe Garlic and Black Pepper Beef (mild) Lukewarm and flavorless. Beef was slimy and tough.The Sweet and Sour Chicken (mild) Cold to the touch. Repugnant and way too sweet.This was the meal that you eat before you commit suicide. Just to remind yourself that the world is not worth being on. Including...its food.Just so you all know. I asked for a refund from Eat24.
