Haven’t had a bad order in the 3x we have been. Just make sure if you order to go that you ask for extra salsa. Ordered 3 burritos and only gave 1 of each. The previous time I didn’t have to ask. The burritos are loaded. They can def be split into two meals. Mine weighed in at just under 2lbs.

Wowowow!!! The food here is fiiiire!!! The birria tacos hit like no one elses in town, and the pina fresco rita with tajin rim was divine! The service was spot on. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. The deco is bright, wiiiild, and they have a rad music selection. So many gorgeous colors and designs. Loooove it and absolutely will be back. The person behind the counter was very helpful, as it was our first time in this restaurant. The Quesa Birria Plate was AWESOME! Like a Mexican style French Dip, you dip the crispy tacos into the au jus. Very tasty! The Michi Tacos were also very good. They were large, so my wife could only finish one!

This place is a hit or miss. The past orders I’ve got from them had been questionable. Today I paid for Birria fries and they FORGOT to put the Birria! They didn’t put a little bit, they put zero birria on the fries😂 and they charged me a premium to get it delivered. I’m not even mad, I’m just disappointed.

The Agua Fresca Margarita was refreshing, freshly made, and pure ingredients. The staff was friendly and very helpful 🙂. The environment was fun and made me feel like I was in Da Club, mmmmhhhhmmmm honey boo boo! While eating my tacos, drinking my Drank, and chilling on a Sunday afternoon with my family. Really are the best tacos in town, and the nachos are delicious and full of meat and cheese and all that flavor. The mango salsa is something special, I love it. Super friendly staff, and the atmosphere is spectacular. I’ll be back again and again.

The food here was really good! The portions were big and matched the price. The birria tacos were loaded! They were savory, perfectly salty, and made to order. Paired with the consomé, the habanero salsa, and that perfect crunch made these a win in my book. I also had the opportunity to try the birria ramen. The noodles were authentic and the broth was full of flavor! You can’t go wrong with either.

I always say we hike so I can eat tacos and thats exactly what we did. A friend who holds the world record for most consecutive days eating tacos and lives in the Wildomar, CA area recommended this place to us and it did not disappoint. My eyes lit up when I saw birria quesadilla, queso birria tacos, pupusa tacos, what! Yes, I ordered all the things and topped it off with a large agua the piña w/ a chamoy and tajín rimmed cup to wash it all down. The service and output from the staff was excellent, will definitely make the three hour trip from Bakersfield, CA.

I had taco de camarón and two tacos de tripa, food is excellent, 17 minutes for two tacos and 14 for one taco on my second order, quality is great, and it was loaded with meat, the home made tortillas are great!!!, This was at the lake Elsinore location. Two days ago I was at the one in menifee And it was 40 minutes wait time on four tacos not too bad at this location.

My wife and I had some birria tacos from Michi Tacos and they were absolutely delicious! (First 5 visits)However, the last three times we ordered, the food was not the same, the flavor isn’t consistently good. I’m thinking perhaps the cooks aren’t the same? I originally gave a 5 star review but had to edit it and give a 3 star. Just objective feedback, and wish Michi Tacos the best. The owner, German, is also a nice person.

The ONLY reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because its so expensive. I took my mom, boyfriend, daughter and I for dinner, and it cost us $77. For semi-fast food in Lake Elsinore, on a Monday night. Great food. Love the free chips and salsa. But the pricing is ridiculous.

This place I was skeptical about for some reason but it definitely caught me off guard with how good their tacos are. A bit pricey for just tacos but they have specials for Taco Tuesday and they load them up not stingy with the meat, its banging with flavor, and their golden corn tortillas are hand made 😍 tried their Spiked Jamaica as well and damn one drink made me feel like I had 3! Overall very good food, super cute place in downtown and I will definitely be going back.

It was super busy with the trunk or treat going on, this didnt stop any of the staff from being prompt, efficient and attentive.This food is INCREDIBLE 🤩 they have their niche and they do it incredibly well. Ive had the quesabirria, birria tacos, al pastor, lengua, and the bean and cheese pupusa. All were incredibly delicious and well balanced. The birria is quite literally the best Ive had while in Cali.

I have been amazed by the food and how tasteful it is. However, on my last visit I got a carne asada burrito that was almost painful to eat. The meat was terribly full of nerves and fat tissue. Restaurants need to understand that inconsistencies like this will kill a customer for a long time if not forever. I hope management takes note of this.

This place was incredible. I am from San Diego and the 1.5hr drive was definitely worth. Cant wait to go again. The Quesa Birria y Consome was to die for. Plus the regular tacos with the homemade tortillas cant be beat. The tacos I got, in order of best, were Lengua, crispy Tripa, and Carnitas. The owner even came out to talk with us. He was so nice and friendly that it was just the cherry on top of the overall experience and fact that we drove so far.

With talks around town stating that this place was the best. I paid no attention to it. Not until today when my wife told me that we should go ahead and have a little date tonight she decided to come to this place. Holy cow how delicious this place was! I love tacos and Mexican food in general, so Im gonna come out and say this is my FAVORITE taco place of all time. For years Cali Tacos in Anaheim was my favorite, but it has been dethroned. Michigan doesnt simply disappoint. At least they never have me. I love getting their fries at the storm game.....which is mostly where I experience michis. But Ive eaten at their main place a few times and I just got it delivered and it was still awesome. It showed up piping hot and just like when Ive eaten at the restaurant. Food is delicious. Yes, it is greasy but worth it in my opinion. Pictured is the 3 Birria queso tacos with consome and Carne asada nachos. Pupusas are delicious with the cabbage on the side. Give this place a try. It was busy when we got there at 7pm. So, maybe go earlier or later. Pricing is decent. Not too expensive.

Unfortunately my first time with this dish and it lacked seasoning. asked for table salt and we are out of salt*. The broth seemed old and reheated several times to the point it was a shade of brown vs. red. Ramen noodles where premade and fine, rest was not good. Too pricey too for a non-seasoned dish.

Went to take my fam to eat. Everything was delicious we tried the Michi fries, the guac bowl with carne asada. Everything burrito with asada. And the pupsa Lorca taco de asada. Your tacos are either dried out or full of grease. The owner or manager immediately go to attitude mode as soon as you let them know your bad experience. We just recently visited the Lake Elsinore CA area and we wanted some yummy tacos!! We looked up a restaurant through Google & found that Michi Tacos had almost five star rating & they served Brria tacos and more!! Its a win win!! The Queso Brria taco & the Michi Taco are our favorites! 10/10 quality, customer service. Fresh literally made to order, so I wouldnt choose it if youre in a rush unless you call in first. You can watch them handmake everything from scratch. Pupusas are amazing, tacos are amazing, but their creation of pupusa + taco is AMAZING . Husband loves the burritos also. Fresh and quality ingredients and tons of flavor in every bite. Everything about this place was amazing. The food, the drinks, the staff, everything. You do have to wait for your food but they are transparent about it and let you know that everything is made to order.Friends and I went and they not only made table accommodations but also ensured all us got our food at the same time.All of us are huge foodies and visit many places in SD, LA and local...and its not hard to say Michi tacos has some of the best food hands down. Our friends drove all the way from SD and said it was definitely worth it.As unconventional as it sounds, we loved their Birria ramen. Flavor was great and we were informed that they use authentic Japanese noodles so it doesnt get soggy fast.Tacos were amazing, the thick corn tortilla makes them hearty and the meats were delicious!The pupusas alone would have me coming back regularly. They dont skimp on the filling and come with their traditional sauces and cabbage toppings! They take a bit longer to make but worth every second.Sauces/salsas are out of this world too. They all unique flavors and great kick. Beware of the bright orange one, it hits hard but tastes amazing!Highly recommend trying each of their aguas frescas! Super refreshing and the chamoy rim on them is a huge plus!UPDATE: Several months later, still coming here and still loving it every time. Since they moved to this new location there food consistently has declined drastically. Before the pupusa were the size of a plate now it’s the size of a street taco. Now you can’t make phone orders,they recommended using there website to place orders that charges for using it. When you order tacos some times there decent size other time there just a two biter tacos. When you order the burritos it say that it has guacamole but it’s not actual guacamole it’s a salsa that you could barely taste. They really need to get back to how they used to be. Their food is really good at that I give it a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️but the reason it’s a 1 star is due to the inconsistency.

Food is always on point, but what is lacking is their accuracy. My order was well over 20 bucks. Simple order yet they forgot to add one item that I paid for. They all insisted that the consomé I ordered was in the bag. It wasn’t I’m glad I doubled checked the bag. Then they started to look at the orders I had to show them first hand that it was in my order. This hasn’t been the first time, last time I waited over an hour to receive my food because the person who placed my order didn’t notify the cooks in the back.

Just took the family recently for the first time couple weeks ago based on a family recommendation. I ordered the 3 birria tacos, the wife ordered the birria ramen, 2 agua frescas and kids shared a pupusa with fries. Overall food was very good and staff was friendly. The portions are larger than normal and the salsas were not very good. With that said, I cant justify $65 for the amount of food we ordered. Although being good food, the quality is not worth $18 for 3 tacos (sides and drink are sold separate). The ridiculous prices are the sole reason we wont be back. Unfortunate, but there is plenty of amazing food for less elsewhere.

I wish I had found this place sooner. The Agua frescas were absolutely delicious. The portions for some of the dishes are larger so if you cant eat a big meal you might want to share. However all the dishes we tried were amazing. We ordered a variety from Tacos, to fries and the Birria Ramen. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to try. The only thing to be wary of is taking a large party. Seating can be scarce, unless you dont mind being cozy.

Literally every item we tried is a hit. This food smack (food can’t slap). From the Alberto’s to the Jilberto’s and all other Berto’s or whoever It’s different at Mitchi’s. All 🔥 no 🧢.Since then we tried 95% of the menu. Weonly been coming here for a little over a month but we slide through at least twice a week and the flavor, quantity, and texture has been consistent. Their customer service is excellent from my experience. Ordering online is user friendly and they’re one of the first places I’ve noticed that list every option to create the food you love your way. Not only that, they also READ to order and make sure that it’s what you asked for. No need to get home and be disappointed that they forgot or gave you the wrong things.I recommend Michi Tacos to anyone looking for great food and services. This place has always been good so far to me. But after yesterday Ive changed my mind. The front cashier Sara was rude she made me feel I was bothering her to actually work. As I was checking in for my order I saw several roaches on the counter and side wall. I asked to speak to a manager 3x and each timethe story changed. Till finally I was told he was on lunch and another acting as a manager guy came out to speak to me. Seems the bigger they got there customer service got worse. Worst experience and bad first impression for a new food place in Menifee! after waiting over an hour for my food which come to find out my order never made it to the cooks and the customer after me received their order!! Like really??(did I just get skipped??) I asked for a refund at this point since the owner/manager didnt seem to care at all because they were to busy filming a video in the store. Ive tried a few of the truck spots out in this area. Apparently the city of Lake Elsinore is a good spot for Quesa Birria tacos and for those who arent familiar its basically a quesadilla with Birra that is usually dipped in the juice to make it crispy. This was definitely a solid location for Quesa Birria but I wouldnt rank it as one of the tops due to the tenderness of the meat. It was a little more stiff than it was tender but flavor seemed to be okay and tortilla was more on the hard side as well.

The person at the counter was not friendly. I ordered online.. it was a 20 minute drive from my home and I still had to wait 25 more minutes when I got there. On several occassions I have placed orders online and the wait time has been entirely wrong. Today they have miscalculated my order and they are 35 minutes late. When speaking to them about this, they claimed they knew of the issue but did not say they were planning to fix it. Personally I know this has been an issue for about 6 months and I find it extremely inconsiderate of their customers’ time.Nonetheless, I cannot give them only one star, because they’re food is very good.This is specifically in reference to ordering online, not too sure if its an over-the-phone issue as well. I even said to the cashier all of my pupusas are inside and she said yes. Also when I ordered Agua Fresca I requested no ice and was told that it would be an extra dollar for no ice. The Michis Tacos staff and owner were extremely accommodating to our large group and even sat tables up for us during busy hours. It was a great alternative way to eat Birria. It was incredible!The Queso Tacos were also the best Keto Tacos Ive had. They arent soggy or that greasy compared to some of the other local Keto Tacos. These were firm and held their shape. They had a great crispy edge and complimented the pastor I got with it. Oh my, their pastor is soo juicy, sweet and smoky. I couldnt believe its taste. Soo good.If you like Micheladas, youll love theirs. I had both the Modelo and Idio Micheladas, Indio came up on top. Their michlada mix was so well balanced. Not too sour or acidic. It looked like they had 2 mixes that went in it. But the chimoy and tajin rim finished the drink off so well.Michis Tacos is worth every penny and worth the wait. I decided to have two Al Pastor Michi Tacos and an Al Pastor Quesadilla. Both are super good. Michi tacos have fried cheese on the inside of the homemade tortilla. Yummy. Just one thing, the tacos could use more onion in my opinion. Also the menu when you order online is In Spanish only so hard to figure if you don’t know Spanish. I get good food takes time as their sign says BUT THIS IS NOT GOOD FOOD! Not worth the money or the time or the attitude. They should be able to read their own menu if they make it in Spanish and what a customer wants and does not want on their items. I come here all the time. Everything about this place is authentic and tastes amazing. I was worried when ownership changed but its still just as great as before and the new owner obviously wants it to be big. Always get the Salsa verde with everything.(Update) - Unfortunately the expansion of Michi Tacos has come with quite a few negatives (Higher costs, less menu item variety, feels more cooperate than family owned, etc) BUT that doesnt mean they are now not worth buying, its just a little disappointing to me but I am happy they are expanding and becoming more popular for their sake; I just wish they could have kept everything that made them incredible. I still eat there all the time and everyone who works there is incredible, they make incredible food and the new stuff they come up with is actually pretty remarkable as well. Always give this place a try and help these people become famous, they deserve it; just dont expect it to be the same if you have been coming here for years.

I gave in to the hype for the queso birria tacos with the consome and let me tell you, theyre bomb! I went the next day and ordered some more. Waited 30 minutes for the doors to open. At 1055, we walked in and we were told they werent open yet and to give them a few minutes and wait outside. The music was so loud we could barely hear anything else. I started reading the reviews. Zero customer service. Should have read the reviews first. Save your time and energy and eat someplace else.

Amazing birria queso tacos with this utterly delicious seasoned broth to dunk them in. Omg, I could just drink a whole bowl of that stuff alone and be happy. Great place. Worth the drive (from Escondido) and the wait (around 20 to 30 min on Saturday evening). Highly recommend!!!

Michi Tacos, to the owner or owners.. all I have to say is AMAZING!! Im from Northern California and let me just say, we are going to need one up north! The Birria Tacos were to die for. The staff was friendly and inviting, and the food came out in a timely manner super fresh. The Agua Frescas are so refreshing and tasty. On our way home from Temecula, we were craving some tacos and I suggested Michi Tacos because of all the rave reviews in yelp and WULE groups on fb. So we decided to phone in an order for 4 queso birria with small consume, one carnitas Michi Taco and large Guava agua fresca to share. 😋THIS PLACE HAS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and DELICIOUS FOOD!! From the time we finished our phone order while driving up the 15fwy it only took us 15 min to get to Michi, pay for our meal and receive our order. We met the owner and one of his employees. They were so sweet and helpful in explaining their vision and the upcoming menu. His mission for this restaurant is something we will support! Bad service!!!!My husband went to the front just to look at the menú because his eyesight has been bad... When up there, a worker says the lines back there not here. Understandably my husband moves even though the worker said it with an attitude. Second of all the Cashier doesnt even speak spanish and when asked if she does she replies in such a rude manor and goes and gets the worker i previously mentioned. Convinced my husband to drive here from Perris to try out the pupusas....and let me just say it was the best decision ever! I tried the chicharrón y queso pupusa and the asada michi taco. My husband had a quesa-birria taco and a couple other tacos and we can honestly say that this is our new favorite taco and pupusa place!To top it off...we ordered the chamoy rimmed agua de sandia...best agua fresca! I ended up finding Michi’s on google and decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! Happy things turned out the way they did bc if not, I wouldn’t of found my new place to go to! 😋 food was great. Everything is authentic and homemade. Customer service was great too and I think that’s just as important as the food. The owner came out to greet me and tell me more about the menu since it was my first time. My husband and I have been coming here for a while now for the best pupusas in town and their delicious Michi Tacos. Oh and I can’t forget my husbands favorite, Queso tacos. Tonight I decided to pick up chicken soup(caldo de gallina) for my daughter who came down with the flu. It was perfect and she loved it!! Best caldo I have tried, bedsides my moms of course :)This place is legit if your craving Salvadoran/Mexican food hands down! The owner is always friendly and very welcoming. I have never had a restaurant that Ive called my favorite, until now! Michi Tacos is by far my favorite! Im a little embarrassed to say how often Im in there having a meal (usually some quesabirria tacos) but my goodness, theyre amazing!!! I cant say enough great things about their food and the owner, German and his staff. Theyre all so down to earth and when they have a minute to spare theyll take the time to come out and say hello and chat for a bit. All around its a great place, with great food and a great owner. Just moved to Menifee about 2 weeks ago. Still getting use to the area and wasn’t sure on where to go to for food. Went on google searched for Mexican food and I found Michi Tacos. Let me just say that the food they serve is so authentic! Closest thing to Mexico for me. Food is fresh and the taste is awesome! The owner German, is a really nice dude.
