Service is attentive and quick. The menus have lots of pictures which are helpful to illustrate what it is. Came here with my mother in law who doesnt know a lot of English. The pictures in the menu easily provide ideas of what to expect and what to order. This is not a very big restaurant, so this is a place to eat and leave a sort of vibe. This restaurant also sells cake, you can pre order cakes such as Raspberry cheesecake or Chocolate mousse cake for $40. The food and portions are just right.

Hard to describe how I love the Pork Katsu with the curry as the crispy things meeting with the highly flavored curry as sauce. Let the rice covered all the curry make the whole plate a masterpiece. There are miso/corn soup and a small plate of salads in the combo. The store is small but the seats seem to be enough for its not so big traffic. I love the atmosphere here as it is almost like the same type I visited in Japan. The staff is really welcoming and warm hearted. Would visit several times afterwards.

Spicy Japanese curry is good, but if you want to add a couple of toppings it becomes a huge 35$ two-portion curry. Regular tonkatsu and Tonkatsu filet are delicious. The place is small and usually has a long line around dinner time.

I’m very picky with how I like my tonkatsu fried, and Midoh does it perfectly every time. The tonkatsu is not too thin, not too greasy, just the right amount of panko, and not overcooked. Just like how they make it in Japan. The corn soup is also delicious. This place is a must visit any time I’m in town.

We came here when it just opened. The fried fillet and shrimp was tasty and very crunchy. It’s very different and I like it. The hamburger steak curry was also good too just the hamburger steak was not my favorite. It does get pack during lunch time and seating is limited. Each entree comes with either a salad or miso/corn soup. Love the corn soup

Amazing Japanese comfort foods! Dont forget to try their creamy and buttery corn soup. Japanese curry and cutlets are a MUST. Everything in the menu very good. Yum

Reasonable prices, a menu with good variety, AND quick customer service! I am a pretty big fan of this restaurant. We came on a Saturday at 1:00 PM and there was no wait!I loved the Mentai Seafood Udon! The sauce was so addicting and it clung to the udon very well. Super flavorful and creamy. I wish I could have that sauce on every pasta dish. The shrimp were tender and the mussels were cooked well. Some of the calamari were overcooked, but overall pretty tasty! I think my biggest complaint is that there werent any scallops as stated in the menu.I highly recommend the corn soup as a side. The corn soup is decadent, creamy, and a very subtle corn flavor. Not overly sweet or savory. I love the cute presentation too! I could drink it all day. The takoyaki is also a great appetizer! The perfect texture and has a good amount of octopus in each ball.
