Hands down best Chinese food in Tracy. No question. I recommend the Mongolian beef and ordering the combination chowmein with rice noodles instead of the regular noodles.
Dont arrive late for dinner there. Theyll be packed!
Im not a huge fan of Chinese restaurants but this one is a gem! We ordered a bunch of dishes for a family style dinner, and everything was so delicious!!! All fresh food, all tasty. Thank you mama and the team. Well definitely be back!!!! 🙂

The food is great here. Had the chicken hot and sour soup. That was delicious. Ordered fried rice and honey walnut prawns and other things. They were all good. Mama was really nice and our server was also really good. Glad we found this restaurant in Tracy.
This is place is 100% the best spot for 100 miles. We eat here once a week and they haven’t missed yet, we legit don’t know how they do it lol it’s so good and consistent. Thank me later.

The portions were generous, but the flavor was not. The blandest general tsos chicken Ive ever had, the fried rice was the best part of the meal. Some of the other food may be good, but I would avoid the general tsos as you can get better chicken nuggets anywhere.

How did I know of this place?!! Fam and I visited today for the first time after someone metioned they were coming here for dinner, and decided to try it out. Walked in just before the dinner rush and could not be more pleased. We ordered Shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mein, tasty veggies, general tso chicken, and my personal all time favorite, honey Walnut prawn, Yassss! We definitely our new favorite Chinese food spot for a nice sit down dinner.Oh and last but not least, service was wonderful, very warm and welcoming family run restaurant.
We have been here once before COVID, once during and 1 week ago. Every visit we enjoyed excellent service and food. Our last visit was a group of 9. Family style.Susan and Harry are great hosts and provide great food and atmosphere.

We liked the food here so much that we’ve ordered take out from this place twice in a week. First time when we ordered, the staff was kind to take the order just a few mins before closing. My family loved the food for its quality and taste so we ordered again. We will continue to order from here and can’t wait to dine in when things are back to normal (though I don’t know what the new normal is or will be).
This review is for takeout.My mom and I have been wanting to try Midori for awhile now. We decided to do takeout because we had our dog, and theres no outdoor seating. We ordered orange chicken, General Tsos chicken, garlic noodles, veggie fried rice, and honey walnut shrimp.Overall, everything was so close to being really good but each had one thing that held the dish back. Except for the veggie fried rice. That was delicious and I recommend it.The orange chicken and General Tsos chicken were dry. I guess it was made with white meat, which is healthier (considering both were battered and fried). The flavors of each sauce were tasty and the texture of the batter was good. They had a crispy bite to them. But I couldnt get past the dryness of the meat. The garlic noodles were perfectly al dente. Despite the visual amount of garlic in it, it didnt seem garlicky enough for me. Also, some of the garlic was burnt so there were parts that were too bitter. The honey walnut shrimp was okay. I know seafood is expensive, but an $18 dish for 10 pieces of shrimp is hard to get past. What I did like about it the shrimp was that the batter was light, which is what it should be. The kewpie Mayo is rich, and so the light batter was a good balance.The woman who took our order was very welcoming and nice! She said our order was going to take 20mins, and she was exactly right.I would like to dine in one day, perhaps for lunch when they have specials. I think this place is worth giving a try if youve never been before.

Went here to eat and asked if we could sit at a half table and half booth because I am bigger person and not comfortable in a booth and was told we have to sit in a boothThe manger said if they dont like it they can leave so we didnever been so disrespected by a place I was trying to spend money#fluffy cant eat here
First time trying this Restaurant on doordash. I went with the traditional wonton soup. The soup was absolutely delicious, soup was still nice and hot and delivery was fast. I will definitely be ordering from here again, I would highly recommend this place. Thank you!

We were back in Tracy and had lunch at Midori again. Mama is the friendly owner who recommended the steamed sole, salt and pepper pork, shrimp chow mein Hong Kong style, snow peas with oyster mushrooms and their home made pork buns. O.M.G. We were in gastro heaven!! Scrumptious and all served with love. We will be back.

Food was good, the shrimp in lobster sauce was a favorite of ours. Servers are friendly and the place is nice. Prices are a little on the higher side even on the lunch menu.
If mama isnt there dont bother. She is a friendly and humble woman she is the cook. She also wad the cook at mi kasa. So if the food doesnt taste right there come here instead. Shell give you the best customer service.
