Its not my usual go-to, but we wanted to give this place a try.The food was ok. The eel was slimy and rubbery, and everything tasted kind of bland.Service was great and swift.

Best sushi restaurant in Manteca! The sushi rolls are fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious. Dont miss out on their Red Dragon roll. It is sooo good. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is very friendly. Highly recommended!

LOVED the food! We ordered the Millennial, Tiger, and Samurai rolls, and their Shrimp Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and the service was quick. There was a lot of open parking and it wasnt busy at all when we went around 1pm and the atmosphere was nice and quiet but not awkwardly so. Prices are about middle range for sushi, they have rolls priced from $7-$16. They have a good selection of rolls to choose from and Ill definitely be returning when Im in the area.

The sushi here is reasonable but not great. We ordered a salmon roll and a bento box for dinner. Our salmon roll was a bit lumpy and the rice didnt hold together very well. The beef teriyaki was a bit tough and the fried shrimp was more like from the frozen food freezer at Safeway then proper tempura shrimp.The service here though is great and its a convenient location next to the neighboring Tesla, supercharger and Target.

I ordered dragon flower rolls and they were not the best. I also ordered vegetable udon soup and it was the worst I have ever tried. The soup is supposed to have veggies and all they threw in there was pieces of lettuce and rotten broccoli. I am very disappointed that I spent my money at this location.

I come here all the time with my family and friends, and order take-out as well. They can get pretty busy but they are usually pretty fast. Sushi rolls are amazing, i haven’t had anything else from here though. One of my favorite sushi places.

Very delicious meals. I like the variety of sushi dishes here. Works were nice and quick with food delivery. Yes, the workers wore masks and gloves when making the sushi. I would recommend this location. Prices of sushi starts from $7-$16.

Sushi has become ubiquitous around California and there are so many good sushi places everywhere it seems. For being tucked away in a low traffic shopping center, Mihana might be flying under the radar a little, but the food is delicious. Portions of fish are not skimpy and the quality is very good. Little heavy on the sauces at times, but not enough to discourage me from going back.

Good and appetizing. The only gripe I have was that the sushi rolls were too big in size, a little excess on the rice, and loosely wrapped. They fall apart too easily. Traditionally you eat sushi with your hand and eat it in one bite and it wasn’t easy to eat it that way. Everything else was nice. Nice crunch to the tempura and katsu. Staff is nice and friendly

Food is good, but the staff must have suffered trauma in the past because they are very rude for no apparent reason despite being treated with respect. I asked for water as was told I could “do it yourself right there” as the server walked away from me. I accidentally dispensed carbonated water, and was rudely yelled at saying I need to pay for the water, even though I had just paid for a 45$ order, and it was a simple mistake. I wanted normal water anyways, which I found comical. I presented 6 rolls and was only given wasabi and ginger for one order. Food is good, but they are rude and seem to be highly concerned with every penny they can save.

Prompt and courteous take-away service. Sushi rolls: Triple S, Black Forest, and Black Dragon -- beautiful and well made, but not enough favor. Udon soup was rich and full of flavor. Note: They get busy quick. Be mindful. Three families were dining-in, two call-in orders were picked-up/being picked-up, and three others were waiting in line as I left!

Very friendly customer service. Convenient location. The food however was just not good. Hate to rate them 2 stars so I’ll go with 3 stars.Hard chicken teriyaki. Sushi rice lacked flavor, like regular steam rice no flavoring. Everything sauce was overly sour. The miso soup was just water, no tofu no flavor. The tempura was good but the sauces were too sour. The salad dressing also too sour. The katsu was fine but hard chicken. California roll was the worse I’ve ever had. Not recommended.

Just had the worst experience at this Sushi spot. Placed an order to go.. from the start I was rushed to hurry up and give the order. I was told to arrive in 30 min. Because I’mNew to Manteca I asked where they were located. The advised next to Target. Well they are not next to Target but in the Pet Smart shopping plaza. I arrive it was VERY busy. The older lady at the front assisting at the front was absolutely very rude.. pretty much the vibe to get out of her way. I proceed to pay for my food that pretty much had sat on a counter behind them. Then I realized they had forgotten a roll. So of course I was charged for their error. I get home and try my food.. it’s Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! Cold. The salad looks terrible and old .. the rolls just awful!!! So pretty much $100 bucks waisted on dinner. I will not return.. buyer beware.. terrible service & food!!!!!!🤬

First time here .and last. Place was already opened but staff still cleaning the floors which smelled of cleaning agents... had to walk on wet floors... family was hungry and didnt want to drive anymore to get food so we stayed... husband had to ask the server who cleaned the floor earlier to dispose and change her gloves after seeing her wash them on the sink and proceeded to handle our food. She reasoned she washed them with soap... nevertheless my husband insisted that she take them off.Our foods were delicious with ample portions. Service was polite.

Probably will not be back. Rolls were lazily thrown together, made for sloppy eating with chop sticks. I went for lunch and the waitress stopped by 3 times to see if i was ready to order while I was obviously still looking at my menu, I felt very rushed.

I normally really like this place but I ordered by phone today and was told 25 minutes. Got there waited forever to pay and still had to wait for my roll. Total time from order to food was an hour and 15 minutes. If they would have just been honest on the phone it wouldnt have been a problem. My roll was also missing 2 main ingredients: tempura shrimp and avocado. Made it very difficult to eat as the roll completely fell apart.

The waitress was super harsh and abrupt with customers. Would often yell across the restaurant saying excuse me and everyone would turn and look. If youre looking for a quiet sushi dinning experience, dont go here! Food was not that great to be honest. Go to Matsu on the other side of town. Much better service and quality!

I came out to get my wife some food and the owner walked in and said to put my mask up, I said okay and put my mask up. The reason why he told me to put my mask on is because he stated that he was sick and proceeded to walk to the back where the food was being prepared. Professionally he could have gone about this whole situation in a different matter. I do not recommend this place because of service.

Dont get the tuna, its ground up like from a can. The salmon and everything else is ok. I wish they would have good waiting staff - we were given drinks, we drank them before our meal because it was hot, and we waited 5 minutes with no drink. I politely went to the counter to ask for more drinks, and they brought us our meal 5 minutes later with no drinks. I had to ask for drinks again. The rice and salmon was good, just dont bother with getting tuna.

Poor customer service. Sushi chef frequently wiped his nose with bare hands without washing them after. He continued to work behind the counter. When this concern was addressed, the waitress became confrontational with us and she argued he only touched the plastic wrapping on the food containers. He even glared at us as the concern was being discussed.In addition, our wasabi had discoloration on the edges from sitting out for a long period of time prior to us arriving. The soup and edamame beans were room temperature when they arrived to our table.To make this situation even more offensive my husband is Japanese from Hokkaido and he was so upset that he vowed to never come here again because it misrepresented the Japanese culture. In Japan, food is prepared like an art piece and cleanliness is high priority. This is far from what we are use to.We normally do not write reviews no matter what type of service we receive, but this experience was too much not to tell others.
