We ordered the truffle unagi roll and spider roll for two people. The portions were quite generous, but this was mainly due to the fact that they were filled with imitation crab meat. Both rolls were decent. The staff was courteous and attentive. The dining area is spacious with plenty of seating, and we didnt have to wait at all for dinner on a Sunday night. Additionally, parking is free in the plaza where the restaurant is located.

Heard this location had their soft opening so stopped by with friends on a Friday night for dinner. We split the takoyaki appetizer and two rolls (unagi and lotus), and also got a few pieces of nigiri. Nice ambiance, polite staff, friendly service. The takoyaki was a bit soggy and bland, the freshwater eel was well cooked, blue crab was lightly flavored, and the amber Jack had too much sauce—it was hard to taste the fish. Rolls were great though. The baked lotus roll had tender crawfish and a light cheese topping. Unagi was pretty tasty as well. Pricey overall but not bad if you find some favorites in the menu.

I love sushi. I’m new to the area and I’ve been trying all the places in the Alhambra area. This one was personally the yummiest for me and it’s my new favorite. I never really write reviews, but I really like this place and I hope it gets good business! The servers were really nice and accommodating. We requested a roll with special instructions (no jalapeño) and we ordered a drink from the bar that wasn’t in the menu. So if you’re reading this at least give it a try!

Great food. They forgot my Miso soup and charged me for it. Not a big deal but still a miss. Great imaginative rolls

I ate here with some coworkers for dinner around 5:30pm on a weekday and it wasnt too busy. We got a table right away and the server let us order Happy Hour items even though it ended a bit before we arrived. We ordered some rolls and sashimi but I got the Miso Ramen (14.95) as I dont eat raw fish. The ramen was not bad but the pork and the egg was not that good. The portion was also on the smaller side for the price. Going to an actual ramen place is much better. I did enjoy the rolls and the mandu though. Note that this rating is based on what I ate which was only the sushi and ramen.

Friday evening 7pm, party of 3, got seated at a high table near the bar immediately. Big bowl of salmon skin salad was good. Not a big place and large parties may have to weight longer. Service was great and everyone we came across (host and at least 3 other attendants) was helpful with smile. Quality of fish is ok but they catch your eyes with presentation and varieties. Place is a bit noisy so if you want a peaceful quiet dinner, this is not for you. If you want high quality fish, this is not for you.

We were fortunate to be invited to the soft-openning last night. Like other two locations we were not disappointed! We ordered toro, blue crab, scallop, and fresh eel sushi, and rainbow roll, which were fresh as they can be. And, the stuff that matters (the non-rice portion) were twice as much as the typical sushi place. The shrimp tempura was perfectly fried, and the sea bass was heavenly. Of course, the prices are very competitive. This place has ample windows, and cozy rooms, radiating great ambience. The Alhambra now has a great sushi restaurant, at last!

Went to this place with family for dinner. The supervisor (girl ) was super unprofessional with her job. Half of the tables was unoccupied but we still waited 45 mins for a table. Food portions was small with that price, and the quality was just ok. Would not recommend this place if you have a large group/ family dinner, cause the supervisor cannot organize a group. By the way, the server for our table was nice and attended with the service, this two star is for him.
