My first time here, definitely my last. Staff was great, but unfortunately that is the reason for the one star. Food was dry, bland and burnt. Reason I came here was the rating, what a huge mistake.

A little hidden Gem it was a really good breakfast spot. Probably my top of the HD recommend the Ribeye Steak and eggs it was 10/10 cooked to perfection and had great Seasoning. Will be coming back again

Very sad :(!First, Id like to say. Staff was friendly and this review doesnt reflect on the servers I interacted with.I was so excited to try this place because ratings are insanely high. Unfortunately it was a massive disappointment!I would not recommend to anyone. Might be worse then Dennys on a bad day!Country steak was the worst Ive ever had (microwave might have been better). Gravy had no taste, no spices, no meat, just runny.Eggs were somehow undercooked but burnt? I just laughed as I thought that was impossible !And the biscuits and gravy were extremely undercooked. I was eating dough!How can this many people be so wrong ??I ateCountry fried steak (2/10)Biscuits and Gravy (1/10)Eggs (2/10)Hashbrowns (8/10)Wife and I arent from around here, but you want good breakfast in Victorville. This is an amazing find in the high desert I would definitely recommend biscuits and gravy were phenomenal and I like the fact that their lunch you can have soup as well and their clam chowder on Friday was amazing filled with clams. The only bad private part is its open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. but a highly would recommend getting off the 15 freeway driving Inland a little to this place.

Always love to eat at this place. Food is excellent, there is some awesome dishes here to try. Today I had the Bones omelette great if you want a everything type dish but still doesnt seem heavy. Service is typical of a busy restaurant not slow just be patient. Its worth it! Lots of seating for large parties and excellent for a quick stop during the week.

Great quick service even though it was busy on mothers day. I get the tuna melt on sourdough. Its delicious. Eggs Benny are always a good choice there too. Ive seen them accommodate large groups too. The party next to me had like 20 people. Lol. Great little spot.

Service was terrible. Waited 15 min for someone to take our order. Nobody smiles. All the waitress look bitter, overworked, stressed the hell out, and underpaid! Not a good morning cafe atmosphere. First time at the Mile High Cafe and the food is really good 👍 😋. The place is in a residential area and you wouldnt even know it was there. The staff was polite and the food portion are very good. We enjoyed a great homemade breakfast. My brother ( who was in the hospital recovering from illness) insisted that we try his favorite place, so my sister in law took me there for breakfast . Elijah was absolutely amazing!! He was super caring and made breakfast fantastic. Midway through our meal, I broke my spoon and Elijah came out with an anvil and hammer and crafted a 4th century spoon casted from pure Italian iron for me to finish up my meal. What a gentleman, God bless!

I went there with A group of my friends for brunch at their recommendation. The omelet was OK but I was so excited to get biscuits and gravy which sucked! When I say they are the worst biscuits and gravy Ive ever tasted, I lived in Texas so I know biscuits and gravy. Im just glad I didnt order the chicken fried steak which my friend did, and it looked absolutely horrible! The decor is cute, decent menu and the service wasnt awful which is theonlyreason I didnt giveit1 star, but this was my 1st and last time there.

I love love love The Mile High Cafe for breakfast and sometimes lunch! They by far go out of their way to accommodate you and make sure you have a great experience. I was blown away, when I requested sweet tea and my server said she can make it for me. I have never been somewhere that only had unsweetened tea and my server make it sweet for me not just hand me sugar packets! They also welcomed ya in for a meal 10 minutes until they closed any other place would turn you away. Oh and the food is fresh made to order always get My order correct and they are very quick!!!!

Ive been into this cafe a few times and its always been pretty good. today I decided to go in and try the corned beef hash when I ordered they asked me what kind of potatoes eggs and toast I would like needless to say when my order came out it was corned beef hash out of the can that already has those tiny potatoes in it. It also came with potatoes on the side with eggs and toast It was a huge lit down and a big giveaway that it was canned meat when I had two potatoes in my meal

Oh my goodness! I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. The burger was 5 inches thick. Seems their patties are 2/3 pounds, each. I could only eat half, and i have a healthy appetite. It was delicious.You should try this place. Ill bet they make a fan out of you, too.

Lisa our waitress was awesome all the way around. Plenty of seating. Beer/wine and some specialty drinks including coffee. The only thing off is the altitude (approximately 3300) but they take you the rest of the way with service, product and ambience. Great job MHC!

This is a nice and cozy place for breakfast and lunch. There are plenty of seats, and it wasnt too busy for a Saturday afternoon.They serve your regular diner offerings: omelettes, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches, burgers, etc.. This time, I had their Big Veggie omelet, which had spinach, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomato and cheese inside, and was topped with more tomatoes, cheese and avocado.The home fries were okay, I ordered them plain, but you can add onions and peppers for an additional cost.The biscuits and gravy were a little disappointing. Neither had much flavor to them, so I couldnt finish them.All in all, this is a decent cafe in a place you really wouldnt expect it to be.

I live in Idyllwild and Mile High Cafe really really cares about their patrons. The food is always great and fresh, you can get a fabulous home cooked meal yet they have some wonderful Korean dishes that are the BEST! The service is excellent run by a Mom and her son, they are the only ones in town that offer fresh sushi and Poke Bowls. But you must make a reservation for those days, thats how popular this wonderful restaurant is. Its our go to spot in Idyllwild when I have guests in town that want a wonderfully cooked fresh meal. Not only, they are one of the only ones in town that have a generator when the power goes out in our town. I cannot even recommend one dish as all of our meals have been fantastic!

This small restaurant is off the way in Hesperia. We go there mainly for breakfast, which as far as Im concerned is the best, always hits the spot!! Employees are kind and friendly. Food is served in a timely manner. Their coffee is great, avocado-bacon omellet to die for, as well as their egg enchilada dish. Cost is always reasonable around $20-25. Ambiance is airplanes and of course tv on the sports channels. Closing time is around 2pm

Wednesday mornings you can get real S.O.S. I dont know how to rate you guys anymore youve apparently changed your food products or the way theyre prepared I havent been to your restaurant in a while because everything seem to taste like it was out of a can, you had just moved at the time and I thought okay its just a new learning curve or something but we went back this morning and your hash is definitely out of a can. Over medium eggs means it should not have the white part runny that part should be cooked all the way through and just runny yolk. Its basically just your Average breakfast place now. The service is still good though.

I was charged $33.80, I have called multiple times and tried to go in but they were closed even though it was during the business hours posted. I have asked for a manager and let my name and number.
