Visited this sushi restaurant with my family and had a delightful experience. We shared a Bento box, udon soup, and two sushi rolls, all delicious. The complementary edamame was a nice touch. Although our sushi arrived late, the waiter clarified there was only one chef, running behind.Convenient location in a busy plaza with ample parking. Despite the delay, well be returning for sure.Thank you,

Food taste pretty good, the sashimi was fresh for a small restaurant like this which is surprising. The service was good and friendly, however I would suggest servers to be aware not to have fingers inside the bowls or plates of our food, its unappealing when serving to customers. They offered free postickers which was a good business tactic. Stars lost dues to the dingy location older interior.

One of the best hidden treasures in San Leandro. Small store in one of the shopping mall across McDonalds. Fish is always fresh and excellent services.

Amazing space with the best service and people! It looked dark when we arrived the first time - I am so glad we went and checked the door, because yes, they ARE open, it just looks dark because of the window tinting! Took our 8 year old, because she LOVES sushi - they brought her several extras, because kid - edamame, some soup, a special taste of a new sushi she hadnt tried before - all at no charge! That was over a year ago, and go regularly now, and she always gets at least one special treat on the house when we eat in. Its really kind of them, and I really appreciate having a space that makes kid-dining SPECIAL. Theyve got a long range view - theyre creating a customer for LIFE! Id highly recommend for families.(This is super important for me, as I personally dont like sushi at ALL, but kiddo wanted to try, so we did. They really sold her on it, so again, this non-sushi person is a regular here now, and that is because they helped me create / get a sushi loving kid! She eats EVERYTHING on the menu, and I get the chicken. She flinches at any new food, but because they presented it right, didnt flinch at eating eel, and now specifically asks for it! Same with squid and several other obscure ingredients. Major cheers for expanding her palate!)

It was fresh, delicious and fast.The service was very nice too and the rolls were very well prepared.The put edamame when you arrive, as a snack, also offered water and after we ordered the food arrived fast and beautiful.Ill go back there for sure

Fish was fresh. Dishes were creative. Staff was friendly. Restaurant decor was modern and clean. The shopping complex felt safe, unlike the surrounding areas. No wonder it was so crowded. They need to expand.

We came 40 mins before closing and they didnt want to seat us. We were from out of town and really disappointed to see other people still dining while us white people were told its closed. Suggesting... update your hours on Google if you dont accept anyone after 930.

I grabbed some takeout for dinner - the sashimi bento (with chicken teriyaki and ton katsu) and the fried calamari. Everything was nicely packed, well prepared, and very good. The ton katsu was perfectly fried, the chicken teriyaki was flavorful without being too sweet, and the four pieces of sashimi were fresh and larger than expected. The fried calamari was a solid 8/10, though the sweet dipping sauce that comes with it wasnt my thing. The prices are also very reasonable. I will be back soon.
