I really did enjoy the food! I ordered the salt and pepper prawns... I was shocked when I opened the box and they were just shrimp. Not large prawns. But fresh and delicious!

They have terrible customer service. We were 6 of celebrating occasion. Put our name on the list with very rude receptionist name Nattaly. After 1 hue the text the table is ready. When we went to the table was 100 percent sun. We went back to talk to Natalya, she said that it is there is no covered table available. I asked to her manager. His name is Terry, he had the worded customer service. There was empty table next to us with shad he wouldn’t give it to us. It was left empty for over an hour. Their food quality dropped to very low quality. All the tables have out side does not have cover or umbrella. I will complain to licensing board. It is unsafe and unhealthy to put guests under direct sun. We also find out the owner has been change, the new owner is an Arab that does not know how to mange. Do not recommend this resturant.

This place was good, but now they are a glorified takeout place now, food went from the best in the area to marginal at best. Atmosphere is oppressive and rude, service is basically self serve as you have to ask for everything. If they let you dine in you are served with takeout containers, paper plates and plastic cutlery.NEVER GOING BACK

Hands down, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant around the whole Bay Area. If you come for lunch, you will be amazed at the quantity and quality of food for such low prices. I didnt start liking hot and sour soup until I came here. The staff is attentive and speedy, and the food comes out hot and fresh.Ive been going here off and on for the past 15 years. The quality has been maintained the service is excellent. You cannot go wrong eating here.

Whenever I deeply crave Chinese food, I automatically think of this place. Our go to dishes are chow mein, orange chicken, broccoli beef, sautéed vegetables, and fried rice. It’s a great family meal, and we often have leftovers to enjoy the next few days. I appreciate their cooking because it isn’t greasy at all.The staff is friendly, and they have a wall full of Warrior memorabilia, including bobbleheads! It’s definitely a sight to see if you love the Warriors.

Worste thing i have tried to eat in a long time. The beef tasted old and processed badly. Fried rice was barely steamed with raw frozen vegetables. Lemon chicken was your basic tempura popcorn chicken with a side of sugar syrup dyed yellow. Save you time, money and the environment by avoiding Mings. Seems they are only take out now because if you dined in you would demand a refund.

6/25/2023 -Ming is now open for dine-in like before. Food is hot and portions is great. Had pot sticker and mings ginger chicken. So good.Good food, lots of variety. Love the ginger chicken and hot sour soup. Also like their pot sticker and vegetable egg Foo young. Lunch plates are good deal. 5/8 -- update. Mostly to go. You can eat there where they will bring the Togo order for you. Still good food.

We have been going to Mings for years! Its a wonderful place to eat when you can eat inside, good service. However, the past year has been declining. The food used to have a lot of flavor and the service was on point.We ordered a huge dinner for 8 today and a few people commented that, the food was very bland. I understand things are hard during this time, but the prices are up for good quality.The gentleman may have been having a really bad day, or just unhappy, but the service has declined for take out. You might not get any sauces. Unfortunately going to be looking for a new Chinese restaurant.

Was in the area and thought Id give this place a try...and glad I did! Food was delicious. Service very fast (maybe a little too fast) since I wasnt quite done with my appetizer when my full meal showed up. Nevertheless, I was quite satisfied with the fast service and food. If I have one criticism, that would be if they could show a little more personality and a smile or two would go a long way!

The restaurant is pretty basic in the inside and the one TV that was working was clearly old and was broken.Service is what you would expect from a traditional Chinese eatery. This place has really great food. Probably the best Chinese food I have had in a long time.They also have a really good lunch special and the servings are really good. I prefer to eat in because you get their tasty hot and sour soup with the meal.I would truly give it five stars if it werent for how crowded it can get on weekend evenings. The space is really small and you feel crammed when it gets busy.

Jim & his still limited staff are on it! With my two adult children at home, ordered a ton of food-so much, even Jim said, thats a big order! My kids packed it away with few leftovers. Everything was tasty, hot and travel well. This is a real gem Im so glad to see was able to ride out these last 18+ months. Wont disappoint.

We were at the Halloween store next door and decided to try this place. Fantastic choice!!! Got seated quickly. Ordered three appetizers to start; pork buns, fried wontons, and meat pot stickers. Everything tasted amazing. For the main course we had the general chicken, pork fried rice, chicken chow main, and orange beef. Tons of food, but so glad we chose the variety. Food and service are amazing here. Worth the 36 mile drive out here. Cant wait to come back and try something new.

Great Chinese restaurant!! Authentic dishes in nice atmosphere. Its a very busy place, so be ready to wait and its kinda noisy. But ... The food is awesome. Egg rolls and pot stickers are a must. Theres both meat and vegetarian options, so theres something for everybody. Take out is a great option to beat the crowds, so call ahead. $$

Well worth the long wait time. The owner made sure to let us know that wed be seated as soon as possible. We love the food here, but what impressed us most was the owners dedication to his restaurant. He helped bus the tables, paid attention to his customers waiting in line, and took care of the register. We like to support restaurants like that.

Truly once of the best Chinese restaurants in the SF Bay Area. They had failed a health inspection for thir kitchen two years ago, but they closed for renovations and have totally redeemed themselves. Do not be scared to try them again! Ive tried to find something closer to me than Mings for consistently delicious American style Chinese food, but I cant. I work near Chinatown SF and even the standouts of that area cant compete. Fortunately I get to partake when I visit family in Pleasant Hill. My favorites are the salt and pepper fish and the ginger chicken, but everything Ive tried has been excellent.

We came here on a Saturday night but luckily we had s reservation so we sat down rather quickly despite the crowd. We were initially deterred by the fact that most diners were not Asians, which gave out a bad signal this might not be authentic. Their menu also offers egg fuyon among other Americanized Chinese food dishes.Nevertheless, we decided to give them a chance. We ordered their walnut shrimp, crispy ginger chicken, black pepper beef, shredded pork with Chinese mushroom, Pork Chop Peking Style and Gai-lan in Oyster sauce. I think my table was really surprised in a good way. We really love the black pepper steak as it is very tender and peppery. The pork chop peking style is sweet and sour and lightly fried and the portion is generous. I also really like the shredded pork with Chinese mushroom. The crispy ginger chicken is their signature dish but I didnt find it special. Guess it is not my type of flavors.The owner Ming, was friendly and came to check upon us. I like how he is attentive and cares about his customers. We will definitely return for more dishes AND stay away from their Americanized dishes!
