I dont know how this shop got so many good reviews.I ordered noodles and Szechuan beef. They were both undercooked. Meat was rubbery :(If you dont mind getting the food and recooking at home, it could be okay. Flavor was not that bad.Portions are huge ...It could be better though. You can make ramen noodles at home and it would taste better

Go-to for big, delicious portions. Faves are shrimp and scrambled egg over chow fun, wok charred tofu, and shrimp (more like prawn) fried rice.(Big seafood fan). Reliable, consistent, friendly service, and reasonably priced.
Wow, where to begin. When I lived in this area I ate weekly here. Never had a dish I didnt like so explore! The price and portions are a good value. This business is mostly family doing the work and is family friendly. The only thing I would give a 3 🌟 would be the delivery ... must be cash, within San Bruno, and over 50$
This was the best food I have had in a long time. Their sesame chicken is phenomenal, as well as the pot stickers. The food was ready incredibly quickly and the staff was incredibly friendly. The prices are very reasonable and affordable especially for how much food you get. I will definitely be going back!

Food was nice, very hot and service was quick. Be warned, the portion sizes are massive!The place itself feels more of a neighbourly kind of place, we got some weird looks when we walked in. We couldnt understand the first lady who served us (and she couldnt understand us). The second lady was very nice and advised us against ordering too much.Food was a really good price.
A fairly traditional Chinese restaurant that may not always honor requests for customizing your meal, so if you are one of those who thinks you can always customize your meal just because you are willing to pay extra for it, you may run into some trouble.Otherwise, the portions are always very large, and prices are always very good.Please also note that being Asian, I understand how some of us are not used to always smile at the customers, but I do not think it is a sign of unwelcoming, but it is definitely something you may need some time to get accustomed to.Nonetheless, value is unbeatable with their ample portion and good prices, and quality has also been reasonably consistent.
I was treated rather poorly asking about the menu. The atmosphere was bad and the food was worse. Absolute waste of time, money, and Im still hungry cuz I couldnt finish the food. The lady who was working in the front was rude and pushy. Oh and you ha e to spend minimum 20 bucks on your card or better have cash on you. Thanks Mings for the wast of time I was hoping this would of been a hidden treasures during my vacation here. Sadly far from it
After spending a while looking for a place to eat close to where we were staying in San Bruno, we decided on trying Wings out. We took the advice of our server not to have as much as we had planned on getting because the dishes are big, and she wasnt lying. The portions are huge here! The quality of the food was good, very very well priced for the amount you get, the only thing I would say is it could probably do with a little freshen up decor wise.
OMG i have not had good Chinese food in so long and this place was a godsend. I loved the food, it had just the right amount of saltiness and flavor! The ladies were SO nice! Im pescatarian, but my friends arent, and they were so conscious of it and warned me when different items had meat in it, which was super nice. I wish I could come back!
BEST Chinese food in town!! Everything weve tried has been excellent. They treat us like family. The service is unsurpassed, and the food always comes out piping hot and very quickly. This place is clean, very friendly staff and the food is delicious. Very old school Chinese food. I ordered a new dish n loved it. I like that fact that so far everything Ive had there is very tasteful. Try the short ribs with black bean sauce. YUM!
Super rude service older lady I wish I could give it to zero Stars my son loves this place but he never ate in always ordered to go. So I thought why not I should try it out walk in with my mother and daughter I asked the younger lady just sit ourselves she said yes so I sit at a round table the older lady comes up and says no this table is for four to five people she shows us a table directly across from the door I say no thank you its too windy and plus its raining outside she said if you want to sit at a round table you must order a lot of food I say well Im ordering food and she just looks at me so we walk out sad to say you will not get my business again.
This my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant on the Peninsula, and one of the best in the entire Bay Area! The food is incredible, the staff treat me and my husband like family, and you cant beat the price! Highly recommended.
Mings is our go to Chinese restaurant! Its a super easy location and friendly staff. We usually get takeout, but last week we ordered in and loved the experience just as much. The food is served family style, so huge portions and super easy to split. We ordered 3 entrées - sesame chicken, bbq pork chow mien and chicken with broccoli - and had enough left over for a meal the next day!
Got takeout here once before, and it was great. Came here for lunch today, and an Asian lady in her 50s wanted to seat us near the door . It was super cold and windy, so I asked if we could get a seat further from the door. She got super angry, and shouted there is only two of you. I asked her do you have a table further from the door? and she angrily said no and walked off.I pointed to a table for two that was dirty, but further away from the door, and asked could you please clean that table so we can sit there?, she was obviously still angry and said you have to wait.We had no problem waiting for them to clean it, but decided not to give our money to rude people, so we left and went to the nice Thai place down the road.
If I could rate this place negative stars I would! The food and service was just awful! I ordered Mongolian Beef and my wife ordered Twin Mushroom Beef. The beef that was used looked like it was at least 2 weeks past due in both dishes. The color of the meat didnt look like beef nor did it taste like beef. We asked the waitress just to clarify if the meat was in fact beef and she said yes, that was what you ordered I said to her that theres something really off with the beef and it doesnt taste like how beef should taste and she responded Ill just take it back then. We were shocked on how rude and unaccommodating she was so we just left. I cant believe that this place has managed to get 4 stars! Smh

Probably the worst veggie plate with tofu I ever had, soup wasnt good either... I can sense no effort what soever to make a good plate to serve. No sure about the other plates in the menu, I wont come back or recommend, thats for sure.
I love Mings.The decor leaves alot to be desired,but I love their Singapore rice noodles,& crispy wings.My husband loves the egg flower soup.Food has always been as we expect it to be.

I love to explore hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants but this one falls short. Decor does fit the bill down to old school folding chairs. However, the prices were higher and the quality/taste was not there. I knew that they made a popular wonton dish that was not on the menu and when I found out they charged $11.99 for it was in shock. Firstly it was not done correctly and the oil that they fried the wonton was very old and bad. Seafood pan fried mein consisted only shrimp and squid, no fish or scallops. Peking ribs were a little too sweet and should have some spice in it. Overall, I would pass on this hole-in-the-wall.

Mings restaurant: when you go to mings just like any other dining in or take out restaurant you expect a certain level of decency and respect...corect? Well there are times when weve all experienced unpleasant or discourteous encounters while dining rather it be a waitress or angry Patron complaining about somthing behind you. For me wild in Mings restaurant after receiving food that I had ordered which was orange chicken and the combination shown me I had asked for soy sauce of course though having big plates youd wonder if you can have a little extra soy sauce I went to one of the empty tables and use their poor out of all soy sauce and oh boy was that a huge mistake apparently that means youre not allowed to do such a thing dont use their soy sauce they said to me they said I already have soy sauce in my bag two packets of soy sauce for two large containers of food I said yes I know that but I would like to use some of this . the women inside told me what do i need more soy sauce for and that i dont need it which was alsogiven with dirty looks and scowling stares as they huddled together talking in another language and pionting at me. The piont is if you dont want to be stared at or talked down or possibly talked trash about to behind your back and put down for wanting what you like or puting what you like on your food I would highly sugest not going to mings: there food may be good but there stares and dirty looks will destroy your appetite.
Older lady super rude today is raining and windy, super cold. We walk in three of us we asked for a table away from the door more closer in and she says no you sit at the one by the door.🤔 So I thought maybe she doesnt understand me. I say its very cold we want to sit away from the wind so no door. She says no no no so I ask again because I see three other round tables, so I say can I sit there, she says you must order a lot of food to sit at a four to 5 people I say do you have a table 3 people thats not by the door she says no. So me and my party walk out and eat somewhere else. Very sad that she is so rude to customers its very bad for her business sorry to say but I will never come here and never recommend anyone to go there with the service so very poorly that they scare away customers

The food here is not bad but I have ordered take out from them a couple times and they are so stingy on condiments - I ordered soup today and asked for chili oil and was told they don’t have any until I said no u do it’s right there and then the girl reluctantly placed one pack in my bag - they try to only give u generic siracha- one time I asked for chili paste and was told the only thing they have is siracha and as I was walking out saw that chili paste was on the table- I’m not asking for excessive amounts of anything but really it’s not that hard to give your guests some condiments that are available to patrons who dine it

I bought a piece of beef that didnt taste very good. It didnt feel very fresh. I dont know where such a high rating came from. I put a lot of salt, and I couldnt taste the taste of beef.
The price is reasonable, the portion is very large, and the taste is just ordinary. Its all because the neighbors asked not to be so high.

My favorite is the combination fried rice and beef broccoli, but everything is good. I dont even live in the area anymore but make it a point to stop here whenever Im in San Bruno. Yum!

2023-11-09 02:17:44A good local spot to pick up party trays! I had their special combo chowmein and fried chicken wings. The chowmein was tasty, serving size was good, and priced well. The fried chicken was good as well besides having too much crust on some that made it a little difficult to chew. Other than that, service was very good - workers are nice and very accommodating. They also have some of the best prices locally. Would recommend anytime!

Finding a bathroom to wash my hands before hand is very tough!So, I go to Mings San Bruno practically once a week, order a lunch special and eat in the car when its hot out of the kitchen! Very delicious and tasty! Most items on the lunch menu are under 8 dollars!

The staff does a great job at making you feel welcome, and attend to you right away. The food is arrives quickly after ordering. My favorite dish is the Kung Pao chicken. It is spicy and delicious. This place has large round tables and can accommodate groups. I come here with my coworkers. Bring cash is you are going to spend less than $20. You get tea, peanuts, and soup on the house. This might be part of their lunch special.

Whether your eat in or order out, the service is always friendly and the portions are HUGE!! We always default to the same couple items but they have a good selection of all the regular Chinese dinner options. We sometimes order off menu for common dishes that they may not have listed, and theyre always willing to make it as long as they have the ingredients on hand.If string beans are in season, order them here.
