Called ahead and ordered dinner to go. I was there in less than 10 minutes, and it was ready. The food is always delicious and the service is top notch. They are so nice. Love this place!

Great food that doesnt sit heavy after the meal. Lunch specials are affordable and great options/ portions. Only downside is the shop is a bit tiny and cramped, but they are great for take out as well. I have been multiple times for dinner and lunch, highly recommend.

My husband loves the tomato beef chow mein, particularly that the beef has no gristle and the sauce is the best he has tasted in years.I really enjoy the salt and pepper fish, it is the right amount of spicy and the fish are good size portions without it all being the batter. There is nothing we have tried here that we have not enjoyed.

Food is kind of bland. Got seafood chowder. Was supposed to be thick like chowder but it wasnt. Didnt spicy it for me either.Got potstickers last week....the dough was tooooooo thick. Prob wont go back. Everything else was great! Clean nice staff...very welcoming. Its the food that needs improvement.

Highly recommended. First time here, will definitely be back. Had wonton soup, potstickers, bbq pork chow mein, lemon chicken, and broccoli beef. Everything was flavorful and the meat was tender. This is one of the better Chinese restaurants in Livermore.

I ordered food for pick up while at work. When I got there food was ready. It was a quick transaction but when I get back to my workplace I found out they gave me wrong orders. They gave me dry and hard salt n peper chicken instead of salt n pepper fish, shrimp chow mien instead of shrimp fried rice. Although food tastes good twas still disappointing.

This is the Best Chinese food around! If you come into an empty restaurant here, it’s because the majority of customers order only. I like when you eat in the restaurant n after you order the yelling n chopping in the back starts! Then the magic comes to your table! Crispy wings are amazing! Be sure to stop in and order up some delicious food!

Ive only done take-out (mostly lunch specials) & didnt have time to phone in orders. EVERY time Ive gone in for To Go orders, they have been INCREDIBLY QUICK preparing my orders. So quick in fact, Ive worried about the quality of the food - seriously, when you can order your food, pay for it & walk out w/food in hand in UNDER 10 MINS - it CANT be that good - OH YES IT CAN!The food has been great every time, along with the service, staff & cleanliness of the restaurant. I love that they open at 10:30 a.m. so that I can beat the lunch crowd - & yes, they get crowded every day. But even then, service has been great. The lunch specials are really good & most are price under $10. I was also VERY happy they offer dinner specials too, since its just me (only when the kids are @ grandmas!). Its nice not having to buy full orders of the entree PLUS the rice, etc.The only reason I cant give 5⛤ is because they dont include the soup or salad with the lunch/dinner specials to go - dine in only. Other than that, this is a great place & the staff has always been really nice, even helping me pick what to get when Im not sure what to order.

Been here many times due to working close. Tried almost the whole menu, all of it is awesome, fresh, and full of flavor. Less than $15 for lunch with soda and tip. Best time to go for lunch is before 11:30 cause it gets pretty busy after that. Have heard almost everyone say that this place is in their top 5 list. Very friendly staff, very quick if it isnt busy, if it is it might be a 15 minute wait from order to eating.

I only had the chicken fried rice so I will have to go back to try some other items on their menu. It was good and there was so much I had it for both lunch and dinner. Very friendly but no indoor seating yet, togo only. From just the rice, I do recommend checking it out. Cheers!

Food is decent. I thanked the lady on three diff occasions and she just ignored me. Lunch specials are much better than dinner because you get the same exact portion for dinner, but dinner they charge up on you. Overall nothing special here. There are better restaurants nearby!

First timer here! I came by around 11 am for an early lunch.Service: quick; staff were friendly and quick to service everyone coming through the door and calling in to order foodFood: came out within 5-10 min of ordering; hot (temporature-wise), fresh, big portion for meI ordered fish with spicy garlic sauce and fried rice. Fried rice was good and tasty. Fish was fresh off the wok and spicy like the way I wanted; tasty and spicy sauce that went well with fried rice. There were vegetables to accompany pieces of fish.Lunch portion also came with spicy soup and salad. After tax, the bill came out $9.28.Venue: casual/clean; the place is one big common room with many tables; it started to fill up around 11:30. So come early! I didnt check out the restroom so no comment there.Would I come back? Yes.Would I recommend the place? Certainly.

I ordered sweet and sour pork. It was pretty tasty. The sauce was lighter than most Chinese restaurants. The pork had this nice little crunch to it but it wasnt tough. The portion size was big and served in a nice plastic container.The only thing I would fault them on is there wasnt enough sauce todrizzle on your rice. Their front window needs washing.

Mings Garden is a good place to get a quick sit-down lunch during the day. Service is always extremely fast, we usually get our food within a few minutes of ordering. It is made fresh and comes out hot. The lunch specials are around $8.50 and include a small salad, soup plus your meal. My favorite is the spicy green bean chicken.All of the staff are very friendly and you can usually get in and out in less than 30 minutes for lunch, they turn the tables very quickly.

Mings Garden lunch cannot be beat. As far as quality, time efficiency and friendliness, Mings is beyond reproach. The food is excellent, everything is fresh, everything has crazy flavor. The vegetables in every dish are always crisp. The staff are very friendly and pleasant, and the order always gets put in immediately. The food is never with a batch or sitting somewhere, everything comes out piping hot, and all the fried items are crispy fried. I cant tell you the amount of places around here, especially places geared towards speed lunches that have soggy or mass produced foods. Not at Mings!!! Mings has never disappointed me or any of my friends. Every time I go out with a new coworker, I take them to Mings. And the best part. Its the best deal in town!!! A main item, with chow mein/fried rice, a soup and a salad. For $9! Added bonus depending on whether or not you know what you want, and how fast you eat, you can be in and out in 20 minutes. My friends and coworkers alike usually choose Mings when eating out. Even first timers have to go back. I highly recommend the; house special beef, orange chicken, sweet and sour prawns, and general Tsao chicken. Please give them a try, you owe it to yourself!

Ive been eating there for years now. Its actually named Mings Garden now as the family split their business; one location downtown and one on Vasco (theyre both good, but I think the Vasco location is a little better). Fantastic food! I recommend getting the chow mein with skinny noodles.

*Kung Pao Chicken* was good.*Chinese chicken salad*The lettece was chruchy and appetizing. The chicken part, however, was similar to chicken popcorns and quite greasy. Its listed under appetizer, however, I lost my appetite after eating two pieces.*Szechuan Beef*I ordered extra hot. What came was some beef fried with a soggy flour coating, very salty and not spicy at all.I found a piece of steel wool in my food!Will not order from here again. It seems that some other people had good experiences. It was probably just a busy day and I was unlucky.

Was craving Chinese food and this place missed the mark. I asked for shrimp lo mein and was given chow mein apparently they the Los and chows are interchangeable? I wanted smaller noodles and was given huge noodles that are typically in an udon. Whatever I didnt even eat more than a 1/4 of it since there were soooo many noodles and not enough protein or other veggies to balance it out. Plus while waiting I noticed there was a health inspector notification on the door that said acceptable pass???? Thats alarming and it was given recently as in March of 2020.

Firstly, this place is next to a cat hospital. All across the nation shady food places are next to an animal hospital because they get meat from the hospital. I knew that was a bad sign. When I went in to get my food it was uncovered and the cashier looked at me then coughed in my food. When I told her she coughed in my food so she could do better in the future she said she cant speak English even though we had a conversation about payment in English. Lastly, the lobster appetizer had no noticeable lobster in it and they were so nasty I didnt eat the $10 appetizer. I would eat a can of spam from the dollar store before I eat here, at least there wont be mucus in it. Do not go there, save your time.
