Mins Kitchen in La Canada Flintridge

My partner and I wanted to try some Thai food as we are new to the area and it’s one of our favorites. The reviews seemed okay so we went to check it out. We ordered multiple veggie appetizers all of them lacked flavor. They Also charged us each $3 each for a side of rice…was not mentioned when we ordered our curries, she just said “what kind of rice do you want?”. The only food item I enjoyed was my curry. Make sure to double check when you review your bill, the prices were a bit higher on our bill than on the menu. The servers were friendly but we Probably won’t be back sadly.

The first authentic Thai food I have found in CA, except it is sweeter than what I had in Thailand, probably in a bid to cater to local stomach.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Mins Kitchen! The food was exquisite, with each dish bursting with flavors that delighted my taste buds. Wonderful, polite, and friendly people, excellent food, cute dining room. The yellow curry is deliciously sweet and rich. Satay pork was crispy and juicy and went so well with the freshly-made peanut sauce. Love it! ❤️

The food was not bad. The Pad See-Ew was pretty good and so was the BBQ pork. The seasoning wasn’t overpowering, which I liked. The workers were friendly, too. We plan to return to try their other dishes.We went back and tried their Green Curry, which was too watery. Their BBQ Chicken was too dry for my liking. So, I guess the food can be a bit hit-and-miss.

We have struggled to find Thai food in Los Angeles that has been solid, we came here on a friends recommendation and it was by far our worst experience to date. Came for dinner, restaurant was nearly empty, had a completely space cadet and inattentive waitress who could not multitask to save her life. We ordered multiple dishes, all lacked flavor, and when I say flavor I dont just mean heat. Basically bland. We needed heaps of chili sauce to even make it palatable. I could go into further detail but I was so bothered by the whole experience I really dont want to relive it in my head. I would absolutely never go back here. Food and service were both VERY bad. I almost spoke out but my husband just said to leave, that we would never come back. Go anywhere else, this place isnt worth it.

Min’s kitchen is a wonderful spot for dinner or takeaway. Conveniently located and friendly owners make this place a must-visit in the area. While portions are on the smaller size and it’s not cheap, the food is high quality and is worth it!The miniature spring rolls were nice.

AMAZING A+++++ I have friends in S.F. that make homemade Tai Food and MINS KITCHEN is the same. Theres a real difference between standard good restaurant Tai and Good Homemade Tai. We ordered the sweet and sour beef, Pad Tai, chicken and Pineapple Fried Rice. Super-Perfect !!!!!!!I LOVE Mins Kitchen---and also JITLADA Hollywood, for my Dear friend JAZZ.Im posting pictures of her menu here because it was hard for me to find a full menu online.

Very friendly staff. Food was wonderful. Perfect amount of spice & seasonings. My daughter felt like we were eating in someones home. We will happily dine here again soon.
