This place is a hidden germ!!! Every kind of foods, they take care of them really good from the seafood to the meat and to the vegetables.It is my second time try out this place and the taste is still remained the same and delicious. This place is not crowdy like the Kaju Tofu next door, so it is definitely hidden for some reason.Everyone should give it a try and you will see that only people who loves food would understand why! I do not want this place get popular because I just want to keep the original, but they are definitely deserved for sure.Recommendation for new beginners:1. Wakame Udon (Special taste reminds me when I was in Japan)2. Volcano Roll (white fish, the tast is just so unique)3. All sashimi if you are a sashimi lover (fresh for sure)

When I am here, I feel like we are in a small cozy sushi restaurant somewhere in Tokyo... The jazzy music and ambience is so chill and relaxing, great food and service. I Would totally come back, especially if on a relaxing, low key date.

The place is actually a Korean owned sushi restaurant, which is why they have some Korean items on the menu, but its actually not that bad. The food is good tasting and the staff is extremely friendly. The waitress working there was super attentive and just overall kind.All the food came out fresh and I really enjoyed the sushi I got as well as the gyoza. I ordered the shu mai just to see, and, although its good, I wouldnt consider it as a shu mai, to me, it seems more of a fried fishcake meatball. Overall though, I had a good experience here and wouldnt mind coming back.

The servers were kids friendly. The sushi maker was super nice and my kids love ordering from him. The rolls were tasty and fresh.

Love the sushi rolls at this place ! I prefer going to this spot compared to any others. The service is amazing, the server is very kind and attentive. We get the alaska roll & fire cracker roll everytime. Highly recommend

Been coming to Misoya for yrs! Amazing food! So thankful for them! They all know my family and Im glad during these crazy times they are open!! Where can you get baked crawfish that tastes amazing and the portion size is huge (picture)! My family loves how they cook the tempura calamari appetizer and the baked muscles are delish. You really cant go wrong with their food and their the sweetest people! 💗😊 #sogood

The Chirashi plate is pretty disappointing! I feel the like fish quality is not that great. Definitely not worth $16. I prefer other sushi places like Ootoro where they have Chirashi bowls for around the same price for lunch but have much better quality fish and more generous servings!

There is nothing memorable about the experience my girlfriend and I had here today. We decided to go for happy hour just to try a new place out. The server was horrible, the food was just as bad and the time it took to get our order taken was ridiculous. I will NEVER return here again. The salmon tasted disgusting and the avocado they used was old and borderline unsanitary. The worst $36 Ive ever spent. Not once did the server ask how our meal was, clear any plates when we were done, but watched me put them in the table next to me that hadnt been cleared of its dishes for 20 minutes. Definitely do not go here!

After living in San Francisco for 14 years, I had gotten spoiled and a bit snobby about sushi restaurants. Imagine my surprise and delight to find Misoya Sushi tucked amidst Korean and Vietnamese restaurants in the heart of Little Saigon! The sushi is outstanding -- fresh, delicious, and generous portions -- and the service is consistently excellent.

Simple, quick and tasty! The eel over rice was basic but tasted amazing, and the special crab roll was filled with a lot of crab!
