Cute tea place. Came here twice while I was visiting LA. I ordered their grapefruit tea soda to just try and wasnt the biggest fan of it. Im sure their other drinks are better. But I really enjoyed their souffle pancakes on my second visit. They were nice and fluffy. The one caveat is it takes a while to make, so my boyfriend and I didnt get our orders together. It took a while to get the second order so we shared the first one while we waited for the second. The environment is pretty nice, and they have some fun games you can play while you visit.

I was accidentally in the area and was too curious not to try! All I can say is...WoW, what a fluff!!!Souffles are amazing and delicious! I also had a tea. There is a Minnie pool table and a few games around as well as the book shelf. This place is amazing! Good job Miss Cheese!

I got the strawberry sunset 🍓🌅 and it tasted so ✨astronomical✨, words can’t describe how much the yogurt complimented the strawberry smoothie. i always see this place when i go on drives contemplating life and hesitated on going because it’s called “miss cheese” and i hate cheese😤! not a bad place, they have miniature pool table that my friend and i sucked at but nonetheless we had fun. ☺️would def comeback for that strawberry sunset. a little pricey tho? 🤨i did see somewhere in the reviews the owner say that it’s because employees get payed more that $20 but they seemed mid😔. cute place tho!🤍

Nice little cafe with friendly staff.The popcorn chicken was very good. The soufflé pancake was also good and very moist. Portions are big so it’s good to share. Got the taro milk tea with 50% sweet and it was just perfect, not overly sweet.This cafe have classic video games or you can play board or card games. There’s also books. There’s parking but is 30 minutes.

Cute little shop specializing in snacks and milk teas! There’s a few outdoor tables and plenty of indoor seating. Tried their Ceylon with cheese foam and it was pretty good but on the pricey side. Overall not a bad choice for the area.

Food is OK, Boba is very good and it is the saving grace of this store, if they ever get your order. The service? Forget about it.There is clearly an issue. You can be standing in front of the register and people are literally walking behind it and they will ignore you. Not sure what is the process here but on the majority of restaurants. They get your order and you sit and wait while they cook. Here you stand up and hope to be noticed.Ehhh... There is another place on Green that do things better anyway.

It’s a very cute cafe. We were able to park on the street. There was quite a bit of seating inside and outside. The staff, Denise and Alexis, were friendly and attentive.We tried the Japanese soufflé pancakes, the mango and the Nutella flavor. I had preordered online so that the pancakes were already being made by Alexis when we arrived. There were lots of activities when we were there including a mini pool table, games and books.The soufflé pancakes were very light and airy and perfectly prepared. The drinks we ordered, matcha red bean and boba milk tea were also good.

April 2023Food/Pricing - $6.99+ for drinks... a bit pricey. On top of that, the drinks tasted watered down. Pretty disappointed.We got Hokkaido milk Tea and Oreo Brulee Matcha Latte.Service/Ambiance - Service was very friendly and drinks were ready pretty quickly. Theres an arcade Street Fighter game machine you can occupy yourself with while youre there! Plus a mini billiards table set up. Cute place to visit.Parking - Tough to find street parking during busy times.

Drinks and desserts were good. Staff were all nice, a bit pricey though compared to other tea/dessert places but worth it.Upon our return, we saw that they added some fun stuff for patrons to play with like game boards, mini pool table, books to read, electronic games, etc. The only thing is, the place doesnt smell as fresh as before. It feels like when you leave, your clothes will smell like some of the fried food that they offer.

I don’t know if it was a one-off…but my brown sugar milk tea was pretty watered down and unflavorful, and there was very little boba.I was also really hoping to get a stack of soufflé pancakes, but the wait time was 33-43min when I walked in. May try again in the future, and will update my review if I have a better experience next time!

Ive been wanting to try this place for so long. The pictures all look so amazing. I ordered the chocolate banana souffle. Let me first say it was very good. But I didnt realize just how light and airy the souffle is. Its so fluffy that it almost disappears when paired with something as dense as a banana. I think next time I would try the Nutella and hope for more balance in the dish. The store itself is very nice and clean. You will have to wait quite a long time for a souffle if that is what you are there for.

This is my go-to boba spot. The boba flavor reminds me so much of when I was in Japan, so it’s very nostalgic for me. They have tons of boba and fruit tea options that allow you to customize the sweetness, which is nice. And I always add Taiyaki with custard filling whenever I go, it just hits the spot ❤️

Small shop, limited seating, maybe about 5 tables available only. They really need one or two more tables. Service was really good but they seem a little disorganized and frazzled. I was told that it would take 25-30 minutes for my soufflé but it ended up being maybe only 15 minutes. There were no open tables but a little before I got my soufflé, two tables opened up at the same time, so we were able to get a seat.Mille Crepe Cake was excellent. Super moist and creamy. The texture was perfect, so soft! Excellent flavor, not too sweet.I got the Soufflé Matcha Lover because there were pictures of it on the television screen next to the menu that kept playing the same ad photos over and over. The Matcha Lover showed a decadent matcha cream poured all over the top, garnished with strawberries on a nice white plate.Disappointingly, when I got my soufflé, it was served in a paper hot dog tray, tucked into another to-go box. I was unhappy about the box because I hate constant disposable lifestyle we live, plus it just doesnt look good in photos. It was so hard to try to take the tray out of the box that I was afraid Id make a huge mess doing so that I ended up just leaving it alone. Instead of the fresh strawberries that I saw on the ad photos, I got a couple of green tea panda cookies and red beans- I hate both. Had I known that that was what I was going to get based on false advertising, I wouldve requested the fresh strawberries. The soufflé isnt nearly as thick or as fluffy as they show in their ads either. The saving grace of that dessert was that it was definitely moist and the matcha was solid. It had that really deep, grassy taste indicative of matcha.The drinks are great. The Passion Fruit Green Tea has real passion fruit in it versus just syrup and they have nice varieties of Oolong tea as well. The soufflés are a little overpriced for something that really just tastes like a glorified pancake.

As fluffy and delicious as expected! Its like covering your tongue in a cozy blanket; definitely worth a 45min wait for those thick, fluffy souffles that dissolve in your mouth. Ordered the Oreo Crepe, Custard Taiyaki, Nutella Taiyaki, Original Souffle, Nutella Souffle and hot Sea Salt Caramel Coffee (less sweer). The crepes were way better than expected, like 12 layers of paper thin crepes and fluffy light creme in between that cuts through like butter. The souffles are amazing, a fluffy dream, they just dissolve and have a delicious egg and butter flavor, cream on top is delicious. The Sea salt caramel coffee washed everything down warm and smooth. It had thick foam, delicious flavor and not too sweet. The place itself is very cute, tall ceiling and nice interior design, clean with about 10 or so seating tables and a bathroom. Its located on the corner with street parking or a lot across the street. Guy at the counter was a little grumpy but I personally dont care; my experience there was awesome and Ill be back sometime for more

We were excited to try this place. Parking was easy, but I can see it being packed because its small this was 5pm on a Friday. The drinks were delicious, but smaller than most boba places. I do have to say it tasted like fresh strawberries and you get to choose how sweet you like. So at least you get options. Crepe Oreo was delicious, but again tiny piece. My 10 yr old gobbled that too quickly. I ordered their jiggly pancakes, they forgot my order. My kids were done with there desserts as I sat just there. it was a bummer. They didnt apologize, they acted like it was coming. We saw them panic though, and it was out in like 5 minutes. So my experience kind of a let down because of that. I dont know if Id return since, theyre were prices were higher, smaller and customer service was okay.

The matcha soufflé was amazing. The pancakes are as fluffy as expected, and I loved the additional ingredients (fresh fruit, plenty of brûlée cream, delicate matcha flavor in the cheese foam).My partner had a mango tornado and it was meh, with too much ice mixed into the drink. We expected a burst of mango flavor with the combination of smoothie and yogurt, but it felt like that was a bit of a letdown.Aside from this, we found parking easily since it wasn’t busy! The vibe is nice with books and games available. We’ll probably return for the soufflé.

Checked out this place from San Francisco after so many recommendations from my friends in LA.My husband ordered peach oolong with cheese topping and pudding. He loved the peach flavor from the tea and the slightly salty cheese flavor. I had a grapefruit green tea with 30% sugar. I tried this beverages in multiple place and this one is pretty much the best I ever had. I actually get a lot of fresh grapefruit (not from canned grapefruit, and not just one thin slice for the appearance).We also tried their soufflé pancake with Nutella. (Which takes ~10 minutes to prepare, but you can call in ahead of time to skip the wait) This is my first time trying any of the popular Japanese pancakes and they are gorgeous. The pancakes are fluffy and light as I expected, and the sweetness is just right.Overall we had a great time stopping by Miss Cheese it is a very nice sweet spot to check out in LA.

I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the overall presentation and flavor of my milk tea. This is a cute place. There is free parking in the back as well as street parking on the Arroyo Prkwy side. I like that you can adjust your level of sweetness (No sugar, 25%, 50%, 75%, regular, extra) as well as level of ice (no ice, less, regular, extra). Boba was fresh and to the perfect texture. Plus, the bottom of our cups were warm which from what I’m told, indicates freshness of boba. I did happen to show up during their peak hour but service was quick. There was about 5 people ahead of us and we waited less than 7 minutes. Place was clean and although it was busy we still had somewhere to sit. It is walking distance to Old Town, about two blocks and the Del Mar Metro station, about one block away.

I went for their famous pancakes and wasnt too happy with the experience. We were a large party and order, in total, 5 pancakes. They do have a sign post that it takes 15 minutes for every order. We waited over an hour in a half for 4 of our orders and decided to leave after we got the fourth one. The place wasnt too busy but it seems as if everyone was getting their order but us. It took over an hour just to get their hot cheetos chicken and it wasnt even worth it. If you have time to spend, come here. The food wasnt all that great to wait so long.

This review is just based on the Soufflé. I ordered the Nutella Soufflé and it was delicious! It’s about a 15 min. wait for soufflé orders. The pancakes itself were soft and fluffy, and it does come with a generous amount of Nutella. I would highly recommend if you’re a big chocolate lover like I am!

Drinks was good. The strawberry chianti was good. The taiyaki was not the best. I thought it would taste like waffle like most Ive tried but it was more of a sticky rice. I have tried the Mango Loves Coconut, Strawberry Sunset, Passion Fruit green tea, and Oat Milk tea with cream cheese, all of them with 75% sugar (all at different times, don’t worry!!) The sweetness for all the drinks are all relatively perfect. When I first came and asked about the sweetness of the drinks, the cashier explained that they their drinks are less sweet compared to other places. If you’re an extreme sweet tooth, you may not enjoy these drinks. I would recommend the ones with fruit in them though as they’re made of real fruit and therefore, the sweetness in the drink is mainly composed of the fruit.The Mango Loves Coconut was just okay to me. Not a super fan, but it wasn’t anything they did wrong. Presentation is super cute and they use this cup that is rounded on the bottom. Inside there were many chewy objects which I suspect were pieces of lychee and maybe other thing? (Hehe not really sure but they were pretty good!) Strawberry sunset was very good! The strawberry flavor was definitely real strawberry and I could also feel the seed when I was drinking it. The yakut added a very nice touch to the drink and overall it tasted wonderful. Passion fruit tea tasted pretty sweet and was very delicious. The Oat Milk Tea with Cheese Foam was probably my favorite. I really loved the oat milk as I was drinking it. Their cheese foam is absolutely delicious. It really made the whole drink taste sooo good. At the very end of the Oat milk tea they also add real oats! The real oats + cheese cream foam tastes very yummy.Overall, all the drinks were pretty good, the atmosphere is pretty calm, and not many tables (4). In response to the complaint about their wait time, Miss Cheese posted a blackboard stating your drink will be free if you were to wait for 30 minutes.Their famous soufflé pictured below was pretty good! Some tips: don’t expect a french soufflé (it’s not as light as those soufflés), and it takes a while for them to make it: 10-15 minutes? (maybe the owners of Miss Cheese should warm the customers; I knew it would take some time but didn’t really know how much time.)

Food was great, prices are ridiculous! $50 for 2 orders of pancakes and two drinks, yikes! Service is non-existent. Dirty tables, sticky floors. Stand around trying to order but no-one at counter, then waste more time trying to get the self service order kiosks to work, finally see the tiny call button only to be told, oh ya they dont work even though he walked briskly by a couple times while we were trying to figure it out. Free parking a joke, a couple of 30 minute spaces in a parking garage that were full, but good thing as it takes 30+ minutes to make the pancake order, even says so on the menu. Oh and if you want anything to-go they charge extra.

We got the 2-piece matcha Taiyaki with red bean, it was crispy and had a soft mochi-like texture on the inside. 10/10. As for drinks, we got the Iced Matcha Milk with Red Bean (includes crystal boba) 7/10 because it is a bit watery but overall pretty good. We also got the Mango Green Tea (added boba) 7.5/10 at 75% sweetness it was perfect.The (PP5) cups seemed to have a wax paper lid which seems more eco friendly. The containers were also made of paper. The cafe kind of smelled like cooking oil though???Overall 4.5/5 stars.

They told her to wait another 15 mins even though it says 20 mins is the full preparing time on the menu. I bought a Thai ice tea all they gave me was mostly ice, they filled up my the cup with ice to the top . I know it’s a hot day, there abusing the fact. And i didn’t go in there to buy ice. Id been wanting to try souffle pancakes and this was the closest place. It was completely empty at 1pm. I ordered a thai brulee milk tea, half sweet passionfruit green tea, fruit souffle and original souffle. My boyfriend and I shared everything. We thought is half sweet tea was the best. Full sweet wouldve been too much. With that said, that was our issue with everything else. The pancake on its own was nice. But everything else was just too sweet. We needed his fruit to help cut it. And the price is way too high for a trio of pancakes. It was $40 total. And it took almost 30mins to get them. So we wont be returning but I wouldnt tell others to at least try the pancakes for themselves but get the drinks half sweet.

We tried asking a question regarding one of the drinks and after repeating ourselves various times, he couldnt/didnt know how to respond. Not sure if its your system or lack of training. I wanted a cheese foam drink but he was having a hard time understanding so I ended up ordering just a regular jasmine Rose tea to get our order in.Secondly, the place was dirty. 2 Friends and I came on a Wed around 11:30 AM so the place was quiet. Food was good - we got 4 Taiyakis (2 red bean and 2 nutella), the original souffle pancakes and we each got drinks. Service was extremely slow... they warn you the souffle pancakes will take about 20 min. Thats fine. But my classic earl grey milk tea took way too long (it came out after their peach oolong cheese foam drinks and the taiyakis), and when it finally came, it was wrong. (I asked for no ice and you can tell in my photo, there is clearly ice in my drink.) Might give this place another try, but note that if youre in a rush - pick another boba tea place. If you have time to chill and relax, then give Miss Cheese a try.

Came to Pasadena for a couple of days (hubby had business here). Our 9 year old really wanted to try some boba tea & Miss Cheese Tea Cafe was a couple blocks away from the hotel so figured why not. Was not disappointed. The staff was friendly & informative. We tried the Nutella Milkteashake boba (made with almond milk as an alternative since little dude is lactose intolerant) & really enjoyed it. Came back the next day to try Mango Loves Coconut & the souffle pancakes & was even more impressed! The pancakes were light & airy & delicious. The drinks were awesome & refreshing! We also tried the taiyaki (fish waffles), one nutella & one custard & they were good. Crispy & cooked thoroughly. I want to go back & try the other flavors. My little dude was so happy with this place!!! We will definitely be visiting Miss Cheese Tea again on our next visit. 😄

This place is great overall. But expect a wait if theres a handful of people there. Ive waited up to 20 minutes for a single drink when theres a small crowd there. Thats my only complaint, otherwise theyre pretty amazing. My most recent purchase was Dancing strawberry with cheese foam. Tasted similar to a strawberry shake once I mixed it all together. Ive also tried their dirty milk tea, oat milk tea, coffee milk tea, and pineapple kiss. All were excellent and I cant wait to continue trying new items from their menu. Also, I recommend sticking to 25% sweetness.

Wow!! We ordered the vanilla crepe cake and the strawberry soufflé pancakes and they were outstanding! Highly recommend the crepe cake. The staff on top of that were so patient and kind. One of my family members didn’t like their drink and the guy gave us one of our choice for free. Then, on my picky sister’s pancakes, there was chocolate syrup on it even though there wasn’t supposed to be and the worker remade the pancakes for us for free! The pancakes took 20 minutes to make. The food and staff were overall amazing. Would definitely come again.

The fluffy pancakes were really good, I went with a friend and we ordered the ones that come with fruit which doesnt overpower the taste of the actual pancake. We arrived shortly after the place opened and therefore only waited a couple of minutes to get them. The portions are really big, so I would recommend either sharing one or getting it as a meal (we went for lunch and we were full after eating one dish each)

This place is something special. I came here for the popular fluffy Japanese pancake, or souffle pancake, and Im not disappointed. The pancake is fluffy and tasty (if not too eggy), and their mango topping is perfect. Their drink is pretty solid as well. So, why only 4 stars? Well, we waited 30 minutes for our pancake and I finally walked up to their counter and asked what happened to my order? The guy at the counter told me the kitchen must forgot our order and apologized. And their tables are a bit dirty. But, Ill totally come back here again!

1st, loved that theres an order kiosk machine. Reducing contact. Not sure if you can order at the register or if you have to order on the machine. But the interface was easy to use. It is touchscreen and i didnt seem them wipe down(we did sit outside for like 2 hrs but i coulda missed seeing it), but they do have hand sanitizer by the pick up area.My drink was great! I got the grapefruit green tea. Love the chunks of grapefruit at the bottom. Loved you can customize sugar level.I also got the taiyaki, which you can order 3pc set or 6pc. Waited 1 HOUR for 1 strawberry pancake..I Overheard the cashier inform other customers after me that there was something wrong with the machine so it was a 45 minute wait.. I was not informed when I ordered. Our two drinks, the Strawberry Chianti (which looked nothing like the picture on display) was basically strawberries blended with ice, and the coconut/mango smoothie was just as poor. This is a cute cafe located on the corner of Cordova and Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena. There is a parking garage right next to it but Im not sure if you have to pay there or not. I found street parking the last time I went. I went on Saturday around noontime and place wasn’t too busy. We came for the soufflé pancakes and were told it would take 20 minutes. Four of us ordered, so the last two got told it would take 40 minutes to get the pancakes, since the griddle can only make four at a time. Got the Peach Oolong Cheezlicious Tea and it was ok. The tea was fine but the cheese foam didnt really taste like cheese. Also it was mostly ice so it really wasnt worth it. If you want something similar then I highly recommend Prolece Tea a few blocks away and get the Cheese Peach Oolong Tea.In a previous visit we tried the crepe cake and cheese cake and both were ok as well. The soufflé mango mango was good. The matcha lover pancake was NOT good, tasted like straight matcha powered. The drinks (Thai tea, coffee milk tea) were not to my liking. I sat at the counter and noticed the spoon that they use to mix all the drinks was kept in a pitcher of dirty water with floating debris in it. Some of the equipment was dirty, the counters were kinda messy too. And there were staff on their phones or walking around not in a rush to clean anything. I worked in a bakery and I know the stuff that happens up front is nothing compared to what you don’t see. Now much of this is unacceptable on its own. But the high cost of everything warrants the store be absolutely clean at all times. Annnnnd it took about 30 minutes to get the soufflé matcha lover pancake, when there was on person ahead of me. This is the 3rd time I have came in and been very disappointed. The first time I thought it was just a bad day, a lot of people, 2nd time I gave them benefit of the doubt since I have been a customer since their soft opening. They have gone down hill since the first few months. First, the drink was melted, second the boba was VERY under cooked, thrid there was a HAIR in the drink and the boba was undercooked. This last time was the final nail in the coffin. It took us 15 minutes to get our order taken with only one person in front of us. Then another 15 to get our order. If you are under staffed, hire more people. This is ridiculous wait time for only drinks. The wait is always excessive whether there are many customers or not. Cook your boba but if youre not, dont offer it or for charge it.

Don’t need to drive to san Gabriel for boba tea, was so excited to find this cute tea spot in Pasadena !! Their tiramisu cylon milk tea was really delicious and the boba was well cooked, super soft and chewy. I will be back very soon.

Love ALLLL the crepe cakes they serve! The signature one has lemon cream on top, which is well balanced with the vanilla cream inside. The Oreo crepe is also creamy and delicious! My all time favorite one is the DURIAN one!!! OMG the durian cream inside is so creamy and I can tell they use real durian fruits inside! Highly recommend this to all my durian friends!

Had a good experience. I ordered the tiramisu ceylon. I highly recommend the TIRAMISU FOAM!! Its super rich and creamy, works perfectly with the Ceylon milk tea! I also recommend the foam on top of iced coffee! ENJOY!

This is a cute spot for Taiwan tea and great desserts! On the weekend this place was really busy but the staff was so fast I got my drinks and taiyaki very quick, Most importantly, the drinks was super good and the taiyaki never let me down.
