We love Mitasie cafe! This was our first visit and we plan to return and recommend it to our friends and family. Lots of options, friendly environment, friendly service. We ordered the wonton soup, vegan egg rolls, garlic noodles, and eggplant tofu hot pot with rice. Non-vegan boyfriend loved it too!

The food here is so tasty. Even though I am not vegetarian, I still come here for the pho which is my favorite entree here. For lunch you get a free drink too. I like their Thai tea with soy milk.

Mitasie is my favorite Vegan restaurant.We discovered it about a year after we moved to this coast, and since then we quickly became regulars (we eat here A LOT). Love that everything is vegan and we dont have to worry about cross contamination.Havent tried the whole menu yet, but we like everything weve tried so far.Some of our all time favorites are:-Thai iced tea-Jasmine tea (this one is great if you dont want to drink something sweet)-Vietnamese coffee-Veggie egg roll-Sushi roll (Im not much of a sushi gal, but this one won my heart/stomach)-Pho noodle soup is so delicious and rich in flavor, you wont regret trying this. (Highly recommend choosing the chicken as your protein)-Veggie wonton soup, this one is one of my favorite options whenever Im craving soup, the wontons are so tasty!-Soy chicken Alfredo, I really missed this once I went vegan and I cant tell you how happy I was when I discovered this really hits the spot!-Eden burger, this was a nice surprise, its a different take on burgers and I really appreciate the change of flavor compared to every other burger out there.-Kung-pao chicken, this one is my partners to go meal. Never gets tired of it, it really is the all time favorite.-Mix Veggies with soy chicken and rice, Simple yet delicious, this one has been my personal favorite for quite a while! (if you havent noticed their chicken is my favorite thing in the world, wish I knew how to cook it myself)Over all he food is super consistent flavor wise, and the price is great for the size of the plates, you wont leave hungry I swear!I honestly have nothing but good thing to say about Mitasie, the staff is great and supper friendly, they will make sure your food is good and ask if there is anything they can do to help. They are amazing so please be kind to them.If you want to order take out, I recommend using their website and picking the food yourself, this is cheaper than using doordash or the likes, and the money goes directly to them, no pesky extra fees.They recently expanded their lunch special from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, so if you are like me and often have really late lunch on the weekend, this is perfect for you!Please try Mitasie, you wont regret it!

The food, the service, the atmosphere are all incredible, even if you’re not vegan!The wonton noodle soup I crave often, it is so delicious and satisfying. “The bomb” fries are so fire. And the egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had. Everyone who works here is so kind and friendly. Will be coming back, again and again. Thanks for being such a wonderful option to the vegan community in Lake Forest.

I love Mitasie. It is one of my favorite local restaurants. My husband and I go here several times a month. The vegetarian options are all amazing. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The staff are always courteous and attentive. They even have a really wonderful rewards program for their customers. Support this small business, you won’t regret it.

This place rocks. I had the tofu clay pot and lunch special Kung Pao chicken. I have these dishes many times at other veg spots. These were BOMB dot COM. the reason I say that is because there were very tasty and had distinct flavors and it all tasted very fresh. I have gone to other places where I feel like the foods been sitting there for a while and they just kind of tossed it together. This was so good I cant wait to come back on my next trip. Also guy in the front was pretty cool and explained that you order at the cashier you pay and then they bring you the food. For a dessert I decided to get an old school Thai coconut where they crack it open for you and give you a straw. That cost me seven bucks but it was worth it reminded me of the times I used to live in New York City and I would run a fun Gambit on a date to go pick up a coconut. Haha that thing works like a charm. But I digress in any event this is a place that is definitely up there in terms of food so you should come check it out

My dish Was great (Salted Pepper “Cryspy” Tofu), our other dish (Mitasi Garlic Noodle) was so so. The Mango slushy was SO refreshing (especially since it was HOT inside & outside - no a/c!). The chocolate cake was amazing too. We will be back. Very nice staff too - very helpful.

If you are vegetarian, vegan or simply trying to eat healthy, you cant go wrong with this place.Great food and desserts at a reasonable price.Even if you eat meat regularly, the food is so flavourful youll forget youre in a vegan place. I had the vegan tiramisu cake for dessert and let me tell you, it was better than regular tiramisu.I cant wait to go back and try more menu items.A+++++++

I eat here frequently now.... found this place a few weeks ago... close by my work and the flavors of the food are great... my favorite is their spicy Pad Thai, egg rolls are delicious and things seem of good quality. i didnt care much for the iced coffee but might be too hard to mimic the condensed milk. awesome cafe though... one thing though is it can get hot in there as i dont think they use air co... at least not on the hot days that i went.

Excellent vegan food in the middle of nowhere! How is it possible? Pho was very pho-like without any meat. The spring rolls were excellent, except for the peanut sauce that needs a little sprucing up. The burger was decent. The orange chicken was well... Orangy. The chicken was not real chicken, so the best description would be that it was well... Orangy. Anyways, the drinks were okay. The prices were okay, too. One thing for sure is that I feel healthy, thanks. And the world doesnt have to worry so much about greenhouse gases if more of these vegan places replace burger and other carnivorous joints. WOW! The food is so tasty! My mom and I ate here for the first time. We ordered the curry glass noodles and garlic noodles. We both shared. They were so delicious! Pho nominal phood! Should you try their soups, oodles of noodles or rolls... they have all been tasty each time Ive eaten here. Doesnt look like they have a restroom so you may want to plan your mealtime carefully! The staff was very friendly and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their ingredients and presentation. Highly recommend!

I would have given this place a five star review but there was one thing that bothered me. It was way too hot! 87 degrees hot! I would definitely order ahead of time and take out! It doesnt have a bathroom either. Now for the good part! The food was fresh and really good! I will be back to order out next time!

Great VEGAN Asian cuisine in Lake Forest. We stopped in for lunch and everyone in our party loved their food. I had the Vegan Pho with “chicken”. It was incredibly tasty and quite a large portion. And it came with a choice of drinks and I had Thai Iced Tea. Mitasie is not far from the freeway and is a great place to stop for a healthy and tasty meal while driving from Los Angeles to San Diego. Love Mitasie Cafe! There are very few locations where you are able to get vegan/vegetarian and gluten free. I highly recommend the pho. Get it with just tofu and tofu. Tried the other combinations and that just seems the best. Also recommend the spring rolls. Oh my gosh!!! Get them. You won’t be disappointed.

Our favorites are Da Bomb fries, the buffalo wings, pho, orange chicken, and the fried rice. But really everything is great. We appreciate every vegan restaurant we go to, but Mitasie will always be one of our faves!

Food isn’t quite top notch but they do offer a variety of options, maybe too many options. This place is tucked away in a lonely business corner center which for me is great since it allows for plenty of parking. The service is OK, hit or miss and the ambience inside isn’t the best. Food orders for take out normally are on time and it isn’t crazy busy here.

Ordered via Postmates and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my garlic noodles traveled well. A good portion of food for the money. My only complaint was that my drink didnt make it. First time in the area, was here only to drop someone off for a concert. I always have a hard time finding vegan options where I live so this was a treat.Let me just start off with how helpful and patient the staff was. I let them know it was my first time there and they walked me through the menu and suggesting items they themselves enjoy.After helping me through the menu and giving me short explanations of what the items were, I ordered the pork spring rolls crunchy tofu, and Da Bomb fries.It was all delicious and well seasoned. Where I live it is hard to find good vegan food. It is usually very bland or overly salted.Every bite of the items here were excellent. I live far so unfortunately this will be the last time I will probably ever visit this restaurant.I highly suggest anyone close by to eat here. Vegan or otherwise. The food is amazing and the staff is top class.When I visited around 6pm on a Sunday the restaurant wasnt busy so very quiet and nice to relax.

I’ve been a regular at this place for years now. Let’s be cheesy and call it at first bite. It definitely deserves my 5 stars. I’m a woman of habits and 9 out of 10 times when I go there, I order the same thing—Thai soup special. I’m not a vegetarian but that’s just my absolute favorite. The other 1 time I’d be ordering curry glass noodles, or both. I rarely order others, not because the other dishes are not good, but because the thought of giving up my favorite dish is unbearable. I always ask my husband to try different things on the menu and I’d get an extra bite too. Among the others on the menu, Eden burger really stood out and was something I specifically craved when I was pregnant. Their curry dishes are also amazing and I just can’t say how much I love them—the only reason that’s not something I usually order is the portion is on the small side. I can’t get enough of it with one order like I do with my favs. Garlic noodle mentioned by a lot of people is not what I like to order though. Anyways, I also recommended this place to my colleagues. The shaking beef got two thumbs up from a meat eater as well. Highly recommend. Mitasie has a menus that sounds very tasty; however, the food is not very good vegan food by any stretch of the imagination. Egg rolls very very dark brown leading to believe too much oil and overcooked. Deep fried tofu dish is silken tofu and texture and taste is not satisfactory. Deep fry masks taste and warrants not much delicious or savory flavors. Beef and vegetable; texture and lack of marination of beef led to a confusing taste.this place is like a quick serve restaurant offering mediocre asian food. if that’s your thing; go for it. taste and quality do not warrant prices.

The food here is AMAZING! I just moved from Lake Forest, and this is the food I’m going to miss the most. I’m sure my lover and I will make the drive out to get it occasionally, because those BBQ pork spring rolls CRUSH. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and meat lovers won’t even know the difference if you don’t say anything. One of my favorite restaurants all around.

I like the pho entrée, da bomb appetizer, and garlic noodles here. Very filling and tasty options, so if there are any misgivings about them being vegan, this place is a safe bet.On our recent visit, it seemed like my order got lost, but once they became aware, they jumped on it. Everything was strongly flavored and delicious. Not one of those places where the food is too healthy. We enjoy the salt and pepper shrimp, the spicy chicken curry, the garlic noodles, the sushi, and the avocado smoothie. I would get any of them again though I wish the avocado smoothie had more of a a avocado flavor. We also got beer at the Round Table Pizza next-door which the staff kindly let us bring out to our table.

I love how big their menu is. Their garlic rice is sooo good. I have two critiques. First, the sodas never taste right, like theyre old. I rather they just didnt offer soda then give me bad soda. Also the orange chicken is more like sweet and sour chicken, but they also tastes good. I just think it needs to be relabeled.

My wife and I ordered the BBQ pork roll appetizer, the pad thai, and glass noodle dish. The food was actually pretty good, with the bbq pork deffinitely being the highlight of the meal. But THE WAIT. Despite the fact that the food was decent, waiting well over an hour for takeout is just unacceptable. The two girls working the front were both running around wide eyed and frantic as if it was the busiest day they ever worked but there were only 7 customers waiting at the time I came in plus a few phone orders. It sounded like there was only 1 person working the whole kitchen, in which case, whoever is in charge of staffing the place needs to get it together. Ive worked in 3 restaurants so I know how much being short staffed and having to pick up other peoples slack sucks, but if your going to be taking well over an hour to put put 3 item orders, you shouldnt open.

My girlfriend and I have been looking for a vegan place in our area for so long, we saw this driving and decided we were going to give this place a try. Fun fact, Ive been going to the Huntington Beach Mitasie for maybe 7 years, but a year ago I moved to South County and continued to crave the fresh vegan Vietnamese food from little Saigon. As someone who has tried everything on their menu (seriously I have), This new location kept the great standards from Mitasie 3 and brought a fresh new flavor for South county. My only complaint is that the whole menu from the original location isnt available so some of my favorites arent here. If youre looking for Asian Staples try the Mitasie fried rice, soy spicy tuna roll, or the wonton soup. But seriously having their pho on a cold day is heaven. Both the Garlic Noodles and the Curry glass noodles are cannot miss items. But if you are looking for Western food, their Da Bomb Fries are legit possibly the best thing on the menu and dont sleep on their Alfredo.

We have been coming here since it opened. Were here at least once a week if not more. Neither my husband nor I are vegan, however, we love their food. It is fresh and flavorful. They have an extensive menu. There is something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
