Not a lot fancy options. But all of ingredients are pretty fresh. Staff at the restaurant are friendly and the store is quite clean. Very recommended. In addition, they got indoor free parking.

Unfortunately, tiktok attention or not, this hotpot place wasnt up to par. The broths (sukiyaki and tonkatsu) we got were bland. The meats were good, but the limited sides were also kinda ehh. The one thing I did like was their beef shabu curry, that was the most flavorful items imo there. Oh and the aycd teas/boba etc isnt worth the $2.50 extra because all the drinks were watered down, which I get, but nah, not worth it imo again. Sorry Mo-Mo-Paradise, I wont be back.

They mandatorily charge 18% Surcharge Fee on top of your bill, then tax on top of that regardless how many people in your table. No one would tell you in advance nor show it on the menu. Asked for tip again at the end, up to your choice.We went 2 people on Monday dinner, bill originally at $64, but added up to $90.Service: slow, we were seated in the corner which barely any servers would come to check on. When we wanted to order food, needs to go find the server. Otherwise, they are fast in serving.Food: Sukiyaki broth is sweet, but too salty at the end since the broth is getting thicker, its hard to get the server to refill the broth when theyre busy.Variety of toppings but veggies are not fresh enough and mostly frozen toppings (which are understandable for hotpot).Would not recommend.

I LOVE this hotpot spot! It’s one of my favorite AYCE restaurants because their broths are tasty, meats are high quality and sides are delicious. On top of that, they offer boba and free ice cream dessert.Place gets very crowded so reservations are needed in advance to secure a spot. They have a 2 hour time limit.Went during lunch time at 1pm, the place closes at 3pm for lunch and reopens at 5pm for dinner.Parking is available at the back lot. One thing note is that they charge tip to your order.

Not my favorite food. My family loved it but I wasn’t a fan. The meat was very fresh and so were the veggies. I just don’t think this is my style. My lower rating is because it is essentially a self serve restaurant and yet they force an 18% service charge. Then the receipt then begs for additional tip. Disappointing

Great food. All beef tastes soft and delicious. Good service with a mandatory 18% service charge. And they tax you for the service charge. Dinner is around 35 before tax, after tax it is $45/ person! Why dont businesses just write the final price and let customers know the mandatory service charge.

Finally had a chance to try out this new restaurant. Since its open, every time we try to put our names on the Yelp waiting list, there was always a 45 minute wait. Today, it was only 15 minutes. We decided to try it out. Just like Yelps waiting list said, after we arrived, 15 minutes later, we were seated.we were given two prices for Japanese Shabu Shabu lunch, one is $17. 50 for one soup base and $19.50 for two soup base. But if you check in on Yelp, you can get an upgrade to two soups base lunch paying only $17.50. The waiter explained to us that each person will be given two choices of meat and the vegetables, noodles and ice creams are AYCE (all you can eat ). The restaurant also provide all you can drink boba milk tea along with red beans ( my favorite).Unlike the Chinese hot pot restaurants, the veggie choices are limited but good quality. In addition to vegetables, they have udon salads and Japanese curry rice which love. I must have devoured two bowls of curry rice. I was stuffed when I was done with lunch. You have to watch out how much you eat. I didnt realize that I ate more than three refilled of vegetable plates, two bowls of noodles and two bowls of curry rice. Got carried away this time. But I will be back for more next time.

We ordered tomato and Sukiyaki soups, I would like to highly recommend Sukiyaki which is really good better than the sauce I used to buy in Tokyo central, a Japanese supermarket located in West Covina, but the tomato soup tasted more bland with meat, I won’t order it anymore, probably only selecting Sukiyaki sauce should be the best choice for my next time. I was a little bit disappointed by the drinks, Its more of an American style sweet drink than a Japanese beverage, I would rather only have water next time. Overall, Varied Meats and vegetables are so valuable based on all you can eat price.

Best shabu place in LA/Arcadia hands down. Meat selection was pretty small but that was okay since the meat and vegetables were premium. The drinks weren’t included but it was pretty good and worth the extra couple $$. Service was superb. I would definitely go back. There’s a reservation system so make sure you get on it ASAP.

Came in for dinner. Check in and get seated right away... table is ready right away...First of all the server was explaining everything in the menu... so after he done explained. He gave us a couple minutes to take a look at their menu.*Menu was layed out nicely and print cleary and easy to see...*We decided to get sukiyaki and kimchi broth in a cool ying-yang pot...And all the veggies are freshhhh!!!! Several types of noodles, tofu and enokies... too many options that i cant even name it one by one.*Meat is amazing quality, cut nicely and decent portion.* Their drinks options also so many... from sodas, milk teas or just teas. They have it all... even has topping for the milk teas or teas. Such as coffee jelly, boba, lychee jelly... thats a plus... Where else you can find hot pot and boba drinks at the same time. Lol!!*They also have curry there. My son said its so good....Mo-Mo definetly has the quantity and quality!!!Also their service was amazing great!!!!*Ronny the manager is really friendly and nice guy!*Jeff was our server was really great and accomodate us in great timely manner.At the end, they also served us ice cream as dessert. If I put all my highest ranking reviews to all the restaurants Ive eaten at in the past 5 years, this place would be at the very very top, number one spot. Everything on their menu is delicious, no bad options. From the service, to the broths, to the cuts of meat... To the sides and the drinks. You will leave happy and full and surprised they had to tell you your 90 minutes are up because you youll find you never want to leave.

I like the sukiyaki soup based. Their lunch special comes with 2 sets of meats which is sufficient for a relatively large person like me. Comes with all you can eat sides and drinks. Make reservations if you dont want to wait for half an hour. Or comes exactly at 11 am.

ABSOLUTE A+I have severe food allergies. The owners were very accommodating and allowed me to bring my own broth. They have a farmers market set up for veggies, and variety of drinks. The staff is like a fast machine when keeping things sliced, stocked and very clean. This is worth every penny for such service and food quality. So glad they moved into the neighborhood.

I like this place, all you can eat, extra pay for all the soda drink also for the ice tea.beef slice thick for me 3 dish is enough. The pork really surprise me because I dont usually eat pork but I like this pork no other smell that I dont like. I ordered kimchi and tonkotsu soup base for the soup base little mild for me but still good that I can have the taste of food. The kimchi soup base just on average that can have some improve. Have ice cream include with meal. Busy on dinner time make sure callin check availability then come here to avoid long wait time.

Just an update review from our last visit. Service service service I feel tops the food experience because you will already know what you will get the food. Good quality meat for hotpot. But the service this time around was great. Our server Shota Y. was excellent. Meat was free flowing and it helps when you get get hooked up with something. But what stood out was service above what he had to do. So a backstory, my wife had cut her thumb cutting meat earlier in the morning. The band-aid she had on was now blood stained. I asked if they had a band-aid for her and he came out with three different sizes and a finger ballon to place over the band-aid. That in itself made the experience that much better. Super disappointed about arranging the birthday dinner here even with the reservation of 3 persons made.It’s the first time that we encountered to share one pot while one of us doesn’t eat beef. The Server told us because we didn’t make a special request while making the reservation online. You could say it’s my fault, but how could I ever know I needed to make that request if I never experienced it?! Don’t blame this on me, Mr. Server.He did tell us that it’s a busy night and he couldn’t make such arrangement of having two pots unless we promised to leave at 8pm. It was almost 6:55pm by that time.I did ask if we could leave at 8:15pm instead. His attitude immediately went terrible and raised his tone by saying “I’ll just take away the pots sharp at 8pm. If I don’t do this, it’s going to be my trouble.”You could reject me nicely by saying that you couldn’t let us eat until 8:15pm. I recommend the lunch unless you really want the seafood choices they offer for dinner. If you just want good beef or pork, then lunch is much better value. I tried their sukiyaki and tonkatsu broths. Both were very tasty and savory. They have a very good and fresh veggies buffet as well as beef curry with rice! Their all you can drink bar has both sodas and fresh brewed teas with jellies and bobas. There are only 4 meat choices but they are very fresh and good quality.

We came in on Sunday with reservations for 4 people at 6:45pm and checked in at 6:35pm. After we checked in, one of the staff looked at their Ipad and said OMG 6:45pm... like something was wrong. We quickly found out what the issue was when a staff member (Arlene) decided to approach us at 6:55pm and say We have a table ready for you but theres only 1 burner for 4 of you guys.Under normal circumstances we would be okay with this but were in a Pandemic and me and my girlfriend just arent comfortable yet with sharing food from the same bowl with other people not living with us. We asked them if we could just wait for a table to accommodate our 4 party reservation correctly with 2 burners and Arlene quickly started giving us attitude saying Well youre gonna have to wait until 8:30pm if you want thatWhile we were waiting, we saw 2 other parties of 4 people get seated at tables with 2 burners so we asked Arlene why we couldnt just get the next available 2 burner table so we wouldnt have 4 adults sharing 1 pan. Arlene with even more attitude says Well they all have earlier reservations than you guys... at 6:30pm so you guys are just going to have to wait until 8:30pm.We get it. Its the weekend and you guys are busy (hence why I came in with a reservation made from days ago) but putting 4 people in a table made for 2 people because you somehow gave away our table is just wrong. When you screw up, admit the mistake and try to accommodate your guest. We will understand that. But lying to your customers, giving them attitude, and only offering them a table 2 hours from their reservation time is not an acceptable business practice.

The quality of the meat is just okay for me. For the meat, its not all you can eat. There are 2 kinds of beef and 1 kind of pork (for lunch). Each person has to pick 2 kinds of meat (can be all beef or 1 beef and 1 pork or all pork). Everything else is all you can eat and drink for the duration of 90 minutes total, which is reasonable. The curry tastes weird, not so much meat inside. The curry is not served hot enough either. The price is $17.95 for lunch per person. The server said that this price already includes tips, but not service charge, sounds weird? Right, you bet! At the end, I and my wife were charged 2 times 17.95 + 16% service charge and on top of that too, we got charged for the normal sales tax of 9.5%. We understand that we have to pay the sales tax the basic food charge, but why are they charging sales tax on the 16% service charge too? So, basically, I paid around 17.5% service charge, while the overall service was not that good..and it was a must! They responded, I paid for the service charge, but I didnt have to pay tips anymore...yeah whatever...

Overall this is a decent all-you-can-eat Shabu restaurant. However, they dont really accommodate large groups well at this location due to the design of the dining room.The max number of induction plates per table is 2... Even if its a table for 6. Its not really a pot for every 2 people.The meat quality is but choices are limited, same with the sides.I tend to emphasize taste rather than value for volume of food. That plus the bad dining room design means this isnt really worth it for me.Spend your $30 elsewhere if you arent just about filling up.

Our party had a great lunch meal here. This is a no-frills and comfort food restaurant. There is an all-you-can-eat option for $4 more than the one that limits 2 meat plates per person...so if you are hungry or like your protein, its well worth paying the extra amount.They did lose one star for service which was poor. They appear to be visibly short staffed; our waiter must have been running 10 tables. He forgot to add broth twice when he said he would, only to bring the wrong broth to the table. He then also forgot our requests for extra utensils etc. until the second reminder. What was annoying was the fixed gratuity - no wonder there was no incentive for him to provide service.The veggies and miscellaneous items (e.g. tofu, mushrooms, udon etc.) were AYCE, in addition to beverages. They also had beef curry that you eat to your hearts content, as well as udon salad. There was also a variety of dipping sauces in addition to the sesame one already at the table - my favourite was the spicy green onion one.Of the soup base, I recommend the tomato or tonkatsu. The sukiyaki was way too salty.Its a fun dining experience that is more enjoyable with a larger group (rather than 2).Will return but need to go when hungry!

A bit pricy, $28 per person for dinner. Its all you can eat but theres really only 3 choices for meat cuts which you cook in your pots of soup. Theres a good assortment of sides though as well as drinks with boba and jellies. The soup bases didnt seem too flavorful or different in flavors and the food is really just dependent on the sauces. The sauces are good though. I was very impressed with the service though. Servers are very attentive and polite.

I knew their last seating for lunch is for 2 o’clock pm so I had my girlfriend went there first around 1:30 and let the host know that we have party of 4 while I’m still on the way with 2 of my other friends and ETA was 1:50 pm. Now here is the catch, my girlfriend specifically told the front host all parties will arrived before 2:00, should we make a reservation for it and front host told her “you can just walk in as long as before 2:00 pm and I will take you guys in” but when we all got there and ready to sit down, front host came and told us that” oh sorry, both sections are closed and last available open table just got taken for walk in, I can’t accept you guys anymore, you should’ve come in bit earlier” and at that moment I was really like … because my girlfriend did make very clear with her that we were on the way and would be here before 2:00 pm. Now I can understand and accept if we passed their last seating time or even if she told my girlfriend upfront we won’t accept you guys if not all parties are here at the time when my girlfriend went in and asked at 1:30 pm. But how this can be acceptable when we already make it very clear with the host upfront? what kinda excuse is this? I really hope the management team can look into this matter and train your employee to do their job right.

A great shabu shabu restaurant. It checks all the boxes you would want from an AYCE experience.Meat quality is great for the price, especially when compared to other shabu places like Mokkoji or Jazz Cat. Their broth choices are good, I mainly have experience with their sukiyaki, which is not very common among shabu places, and their tonkatsu, which is on par with other places. Beyond that, they also offer unlimited self serve drinks that include boba and an unlimited veggie bar with great choices like unlimited king oyster mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, baby bok choi, cabbage, Japanese curry, rice, etc. you can also get eggs to create an egg yolk dipping sauce for your sukiyaki meat.I would consider this place perhaps the best value one can get from a shabu restaurant as these are all unlimited and their limited meat selection is of good quality. Last time I went, the price per person was $29.99.

Best shabu restaurant I have ever been to! Everything from the vegetables to the different meat selections are as fresh as it gets. If you choose the unlimited option, which I would highly recommend, you can indulge yourself in unlimited meats, curry, house made boba, drinks, and so much more. Put the full amount on the menu rather than play this $29.95 person + tax + tip game. Just say its $36 per person! Food is good. Service is ok. Not liking the time limit which rushes you to eat. I blame management for poor training of staff1. Indecisive if they take reservations or not, and snootiness when asked how long the wait time would be and what was the cut off time of taking the last customers2. Inattentive staff, need to wave them down several times just so they will acknowledge you, but that doesn’t guarantee they will come to you or get your waiter, would be nice, even if they were busy to acknowledge it and a simple “I’ll try my best to get your waiter” would be sufficient.Overall terrible experience. This place is awesome! The meat is good quality, the veggies are great. Can order udon or ramen for your meal too. The curry is tastey, be careful of the rice cause itll fill you up. All the boba and tea you want...everything is all you want for 90 mins. Ive been to the Rowland Heights and Arcadia and they have different teas.

Free abundant parking in structure. Friday lunch with Yelp wait-list at noon estimated 90min wait time for a table of 6. Table was received within 50min (called back). Lunch special is $20 for 2 plates of meat per person. $30 for AYCE (90min limit). Recommend sukiyaki. Not recommend kimchi. Unlimited veggy/sauce/drink bar.

This review is for 2021 COVID reopening.Momo is still an all you can eat shabu restaurant ($28.99), but now you have to order all food items (including meat, vegetables, sauces, rice, etc) from the servers. Very good place, I recommend you should be try it. I went to the place with my friends without an appointment. They tell me that needs to wait 1 hour 15 minutes, I let them put me on the waiting list, then after 15 minutes get a available table. So lucky we are. We spent a lot of fun memories there. Really a great place.

I made a reservation for 4 people three days ago, 9/4 6:30pm, and when I arrived at the restaurant at 6:15 tonight, the waiter actually asked us to share a pot for 4 people. I would like to ask him why we cant use two pots when there are 4 people next to him? They said they would reserve it for 5 guests, which is really unreasonable. Its so annoying. The 5 guests didnt come, and the 4 guests werent allowed to sit. They had to wait for two hours. Is there any justice? Even 1 star is too much.

We went to enjoy hot pot with two family members that day. They served an all-you-can-eat buffet. Their service was very good and they allowed us to try four flavors of soup. The meat and vegetables were very fresh and clean! There are also drinks and desserts., ice cream is served.
