2023-11-07 05:11:23My daughter was very much looking forward to trying the mazeman, the brothless ramen here. Loved it !!We ordered karaage chicken and a few bowls. The deluxe bowl was the best. The vegetarian bowl was awesome. I did not expect the flavor. The rice bowl at the end was perfect to scoop the last bit of flavor from the bowl. Shishito peppers were ok.Good parking nearby. Great ambience and customer service. Pet friendly:)

2023-10-15 07:49:08I love this restaurant! The mazemen here is amazing! I get the Tokyo. The vinegar to change the flavor after you eat half works really well with the original flavor profile. The small cup of rice given at the end of the meal to scoop of the extra sauce is the cherry on top of this excellent meal.I would heavily recommend!!

2023-11-10 20:10:02The vegan tokyo mazeman was alright, the avocado & brussel sprouts gave it a weird flavor imo. My partner loved his pork one though. Mogu Chicken appetizer was juicy, crisp and delicious

2023-12-06 08:40:53Its very delicious! This is a Japanese style restaurant focusing on MAZESOBA, kind of a noodle dish. You can imagine like Ramen without soup, but much more fun. I recommend Tokyo style MAZESOBA if you are a beginner of this type of restaurant.

2023-11-16 04:18:24Mazemen was great - mixing in the poached egg creates a great texture. The addition of the vinegar adds complexity and finishing up with rice sops up all of the flavorful sauce.

2023-10-26 08:39:27We came to Mogu Mogu at the recommendation of a co-worker. Dried ramen she called it. Mazemen is the actual name. And wow! We were impressed and satisfied by every dish we ordered; there were four in total — chicken karaage, agedashi takoyaki, pork belly buns, and deluxe mazemen. Adding this to the list of places to take friends when we can’t decide where to eat!

2023-11-24 17:55:27Great authentic Mazesoba! This is pure comfort food for me as a Japanese guy. The taste is on point, the noodles are on point, and they give you a little thing of rice at the end which again is traditionally how its served in Japan that is called “Oi meshi”, to mix in with the thick soup base thats left at the end just in case youve hadnt had enough carbs lolThe price isnt quite cheap, but moderate. I always get the “Oo-mori”, aka extra noodles.

2023-05-26 02:25:21On a thursday at 6:30 we waited for 20 min for a table for two. Pretty good. Street parking easy since we r farther from sawtelle.Got the deluxe mazemen and the mogumogu chicken. For two to split bc the portions seemed big. That was perfect for us.The mazemen noodles were cooked well and the sauce was nicely not too salty. Adding the rice into the sauce at the end was great too.Chicken was not tough but rather tender and they were fried with a light and crispy batter.Overall the mazemen sauce left me wanting a little more flavor depth but i would definitely come again.

2023-09-01 22:09:36Extremely unique! I think I like the dry noodles more than a broth ramen. One of the best bowls of noodles I’ve ever had tbh. Definitely add the vinegar with the noodles.

2023-05-24 17:28:49In A Nutshell:-Mogumogu deserves all the hype.-Just order the Deluxe Mazemen, follow the directions on the wall (1. share on social media, 2. mix for 30 seconds, 3. add vinegar, 4. add the small scoop of rice to finish up the rest of the sauce.Overall, if you just do those things, you will walk out very, very happy.
