My car had stalled in the desert and they didnt have the part needed for the repair but they overnighted it for me so I could get back on the road asap. The repair got me through the 6+ hour drive back home and I have had no issues well over a week since then. Marsha was a huge help during the whole ordeal, excellent service and provided us with great recommendations on local accommodations.

I have been bringing my work trucks here for 3 years now. And I always deal with one person, Marsha. She goes out of her way to assist me and she gets my truck in and out for services. I would rather pay the little extra money to bring my vehicles here due to Marsha’s customer service and the quality work the mechanics provide.

We stopped while traveling because our check engine light popped up, and the help there was absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, accommodating to travelers, and extremely communicative. It turned out that the check engine light was a dirty sensor which they cleaned and cleared promptly. Their standard of ensuring customers get back on the road at minimal cost shows integrity that other mechanics should strive to replicate. I would trust them to perform maintenance on any of my vehicles, and highly recommend to anyone in the area.

This was my second time being serviced here. I was due for an oil change and called as I was driving into town and Jeff was able to get me in same day and serviced my vehicle in less than an hour. He also throughly reviewed and went over a recall with me- I appreciated that because another dealership wanted to keep my car for 3 days just to most likely turn around and tell me there’s no fix for the current recall. Jeff also informed me that I had one more tire rotation left before I needed to replace 2 tires. Thanks for the thorough assistance from Jeff and the checkout receptionist.

The service manager was very friendly and knowledgeable. The installation of my new transmission was done within 2-3 business days. I was provided with a free rental while the work was being done. Now for the downside. I had to pay for 3 days of rental car out of my own pocket because equipment in the service area was not properly working which delayed the determination that my car needed a new transmission. I felt that it was not my fault and the dealership should have reimbursed me for the rental I paid for out-of-pocket. Had I not experienced this problem, I would have given a top rating. Bad on Mojave Nissan in Barstow.

I am so.mad. I went in with a hubcap on my yore and when I purchased the new one no hubcap. They trying to tell me it wasnt in iy was because I took a picture of my tire. I have always went to Nisaan for everything and never had a problem until now. This particular Nissan was the worst and th3y charged me another 35 which was boy on the invoice like Marsha said it was. I paid for everything when I came in on yesterday. I would have been better with the side tire shops at least I would.hace my hubcap

Nice small place but this guy in service Mr Jeffrey is a gear person straight forward and on time just like he said .I would bring my truck to him for service and repair. I was unable to find a slow leak in the evap.System that kept turning on the MIL light.i brought .my 2011 Mustang v6 to Jeff . The techs at Mojave Nissan smoke tested and found the leak had parts ordered that day.i would never have found the leak myself!!I got the car back the next day with DTCs clear. I was traveling alone on I-15 when my car broke down. The toll guy took me to the nearest city which was Barstow. He told me the town has many shops but recommended to go to Ford. Glad he did. Marsha is amazing, she understood the urgency to have it fix so I could go back home. I saw a few comments where people said they overcharge. If you feel like that, I would suggest ask them for more info. Im sure they will provide.When Marsha was explaining what it needs to be done, I was not understanding much, I know very little about car parts. So she took me to see the car and the mechanic, they showed everything that was wrong in my car.I would suggest you to stop by if needed, you wont regret the service and costumer support. I am a logistics manager at Fort Irwin, CA for a large contract with a fleet of 96 vehicles, mostly Ford. Heather, the customer relations rep was very helpful and attentive.Original reviewWent in for a recall repair and was told it would be done same day, did not get it back for another 5 days. During the recall, the service department broke an item in my vehicle but continuously refused to admit that they broke it. They were nice over the phone, but I personally do not trust them and won’t be going back.

I cant give 5 stars because the car we bought only had 1 key. But, The people are friendly, the service department is fast. Ive had 2 services done on my car, one they actually drove me home so I could wait. I had enough time to drink a cup of coffee when I got the call that they were coming to pick me up because the car was done.Yesterday I waited. It took the same time. I sat down for a little bit, I looked at the new Broncos, and I smoked a cigarette. The service manager actually came and told me the car was done before I finished it. And they even gave me a Veterans discount.

We had an emergency on our way home, after a traffic cone hit our vehicle and we worried about vehicle damage. Traveling through the area and needed an oil change. My truck is a rare 3.0 diesel F150. Everybody went way out of their way to accomodate me, from the service manager, to the parts guy, to the tech.Expected to have to come back another day, they had us done and on our way in about an hour. To top it off, the cost was less than I expected. They could have easily taken advantage of my situation but didnt. I was really impressed with all these people!

I went there because my 370z was making a clicking noise and needed a new battery. I was skeptical because Ive never left the dealership paying anything less than $500 before and Mike and his crew proved me wrong. I returned my car to the service shop for noises in my undercarriage after I had told the service representative that there were noises and my suspension was bottoming out when I drove over small bumps or dips on uneven surfaces on the road. The representative checked my car with a mechanic and she said they could not find any issues with my car however again I have issues with my car to include noises in my undercarriage and suspension bottoming out so I returned again and took both the customer representative and a mechanic on a brief drive and both the customer service representative and mechanic admitted that there were indeed issues with my car undercarriage making noises to include my suspension bottoming out on small uneven surfaces. I have an appointment scheduled for the first of next month so I will reserve judgment until after the maintenance appointment to see if the service department fixed the problem. Hopefully the Ford service department will fix my car and actually take the car on a road test in order to verify the status of my vehicle so I will be able to provide a positive customer review

We were driving our Ford F-150 on the 15 heading to Las Vegas, and the check engine light started coming on. My husband who was driving said it felt like it was misfiring. We called the Ford place in Victorville, but they couldn’t fit us in. I called Mojave Ford Nissan, and the service department got us in with an appointment about 45 min after I called and looked at the truck relatively quickly (took us about 30 min to get there).They figured out that one of our spark plugs in cylinder 6 was having issues and arcing outside of the plug. They wouldn’t have a new spark plug until Monday (it was Friday), so they cleaned it and put dielectric grease on it and got us on the way again within 1.5 hours. It was covered under warranty so we didn’t have to pay anything.Their waiting room had hot and cold water, coffee, vending machines, power, a TV and internet! Lots of room and restrooms. Luckily, we had food with us and just ate an impromptu lunch there (There are no restaurants close by).We were towing a trailer, so the lady I spoke to said that we could park it on the road behind the dealership. That was flat and convenient. I was really happy that they helped us so quickly and were so nice. We still need to fix the spark plug but at least they helped us get going again!

Have a ‘21 Mustang Mach-E. A few days prior went the start my car and it was not responsive. Suspected the 12v was dead and called AAA. AAA provided a jump and car started. Attempted to make an appointment online and they got me a next day appointment as soon as they opened. They performed diagnostics and were able to get a new 12v same day and get me on my way. Most dealers are impossible to get appointments right now. It’s nice knowing that if you are stuck you can count on Mojave Ford to get you in. They were busy with cars everywhere but still made sure to get it looked at and taken care of right away.

I bought a vehicle from here. I went to several of different dealerships and I was not getting good customer service and was being judged by how I was dressed.This dealership was worth the drive from Riverside to Barstow. They treated me with respect and let me test drive the cars that I was looking at. I ended purchasing a Chevrolet Camaro 2SS. The price was way lower than the value. It also comes with lifetime powertrain warranty.This dealership treated me like family. I recommend this to anyone.

We are on a family road trip from CA to UT when our 2020 Nissan Armada with 70k miles started producing a metal on metal rubbing sound front the front end while driving 75mph on the 15fwy. A minute later the auto 4WD engaged at 75mph. I immediately exited to research similar issues online and found it can be a list of issues so I took it into Nissan of Barstow that was only 10min away. Jeff with Service and the Nissan tech Matt were AMAZING!! Matt diagnosed that the driver front wheel bearing blew which caused my tire and wheel to wobble hench engage the auto 4WD. This was around 2pm. The Nissan crew ordered my parts for next day 8am delivery and everything was repaired by 11am the next morning and we are now in UT. Jeff, Matt and the rest of the friendly Barstow Nissan team was a HUGE blessing to me and my family!! Things could have been so much worse if not for their help.You guys are the best!The Vivar Family

I wasnt going to write a review but Ford asked me to 😅 absolutely horrible horrible service in the service department. Would recommend everyone stay far away from this place. You wont get a rental if promised under warranty and have to threaten legal action with Ford itself. If your experience is like mine your vehicle will still have issues and theyll effectively call you a liar until you refuse to leave and take the imaginary service manager on a test drive and prove your engine light is on after they replaced the motor. Then, when you actually get the issue fixed by someone who knows youre not crazy and doesnt have a vendetta against you for calling them out on their rude behavior you wont get so much as an apology. Only lip service to come in and buy more cars from them. 🤣 NOT IN A MILLION YEARS! they dont care about consumers. Oh, and if they give you another customers info and yell at you about it its your fault! But its okay though. We will just use the plethora of dealers in Victorville from now on. Embarrassment.

Awesome service department! I had an issue driving to Laughlin and decided to stop in Barstow to get it looked at just in case. They found my hubs needed to be replaced and took great care of me and my truck. Got me set up with a rental car so my trip wasn’t wasted and got my truck fixed within a few days over the weekend! Friendly service - well-done, I suppose. Oil change/tire rotation. However, I would suggest that they confirm oil that should be used. I know in the desert they want to use 5w30 because of the high heat - but it’s January and I don’t live here. Would have preferred the called-for 5w20. Also very slow considering I had a 1pm appointment and didn’t get done until 2:30.

First of all, I highly recommend this dealerships service center for great customer service and fast turnaround; however, Id like to be transparent about my frustration. I have a clunking sound coming from the front end of my F-150 Raptor and brought it here for diagnosis, but the issue currently remains unresolved. 4 star review (and not less) because I was not charged for the failed diagnosis and customer service from Marsha, the service advisor, was amazing, but not a 5 star review because because the attempted diagnosis wasnt handled very well in my opinion. So far the issue is unresolved. I was informed that the clunking was coming from one of my rear shocks. I told them that I know that both rear shocks clunk, but Im going through another company to fix those and thats not the issue I want diagnosed. They stood their ground on the rear shocks being the issue. They would not take the rear shocks off to diagnose the front end clunk with out charging me extra to do so. Shouldnt that be part of the diagnosis? To isolate front end clunk, remove the rear shocks so you can hear/feel what Im talking about.... process of elimination. I asked to take the technician on a ride-along to demonstrate and communicate the problem, but I was told he was not available because he had 2 other jobs to work on. I went home, recorded the rear shocks clunking while bouncing the rear of the truck, removed the shocks, recorded the absence of clunking while bouncing the rear of the truck, then recorded the front end still clunking by bouncing the front of the truck with the rear shocks still removed. I will go back to the service center with this new evidence of my problem, but this is all work that should have been performed as part of the diagnosis including: checking the torque of all of the front end components, inspecting the wheel bearings/ upper and lower ball joints/ inner and outer tie rods/ sway bar links and bushings/ front axels/ IWE assemblies/ upper and lower control arms/ steering assembly, then removing components one at a time like sway bar/ tie rod ends/ front axels and bouncing the truck after each component removal for a proper isolation of the issue.IN SUMMARY: My oil change went well as far as I can tell (although I had oil dripping in my drive way because the cleanup wasnt very good), Marsha is very kind/ patient/ polite/ understanding/ and informative, and I wasnt charged for the failed diagnosis which I greatly appreciate. I just feel that I shouldnt have to do all of this work on my own to prove that Im actually having the problem I stated. I will continue to use this dealership going forward because I know there is no ill-intentions on their end, and itd be nice if I felt like the technician treated my vehicle like his own during diagnosis... itd also be nice if I could talk to him the next time there is a miscommunication instead of prioritizing 2 other vehicles and pushing mine out the door. I look forward to better service visits in the future.I will update the end of this review in a couple of weeks with the outcome of the next diagnosis.

Almost perfect! They did a great job for me and the car is running much better especially with good brakes. One point Ill make is I bought the car at a different high desert dealership (wont name them) and when I called them for service, they either didnt answer my call or didnt respond to my message where I left a number. So I decided to try Barstow and after my service there, Ill be back there. Ill probably even buy my next car there.In addition, Id say that usually these kinds of services require leaving your car for at least 2 days and Mojave Barstow turned this over in about 6 hours even though it was quite a bit of work. Thats worth 5 stars right there!! I would highly encourage anyone special ordering a vehicle to do your research and shop elsewhere for your order. I reserved a new Bronco at this dealership back in July of 2020. I picked the small town dealer close to me thinking that would be a good idea. I couldnt have been more wrong. From the time of my reservation to the time of my order in March I never once heard from the dealership. When I placed my order in March of 2021, I probably should have just moved to another dealer, but I stuck with it. After I placed my order I called numerous times in the hopes of discussing my order, but always got the run around. The day my order arrived I was informed that there would be a $4500 ADM added to it, and the next morning when I went to pick it up, the first thing the sales manager (Michael) did was offer me a way to make $500, all I had to do was walk away from the special ordered vehicle I had already waited over 1.5 years for. Apparently they had already been getting offers more lucrative than what they were asking from me. There are numerous dealerships within easy driving distance from this one that are honoring MSRP on special orders, yes, even Bronco special orders. Do your research and avoid ordering from Mojave. It will save you money.

Not only do they not follow through with what they promise or tell their customers but the do not even have the professional courtesy to return phone calls. So a few years ago, while on a road trip from JT up the Eastside, I stopped into this dealership to see if I could get some air in the tires of my Transit van. I normally go to a gas station for this, but saw the dealership and thought “let’s try it”. They have a cool, pull-through garage, type setup so I pulled right in. I was met right away by service rep Jeff, who is the dude you want to work with. He got me air right away, taught me that the pressures are listed on the door jamb label, not on the tires themselves, and sent me on my way free of charge and a little more knowledgeable. I remember thinking “That was great service!”. Fast forward two or three years and I’m passing Barstow again when my check engine light starts flashing, indicating a cylinder misfire. Of course I drove straight to Jeff and the team to see what was up. It was late in the day, but after explaining my deadline situation (headed up to Mammoth for a WFR course the next day) the hooked my rig up to the diagnostics right away. Within an hour the crew had done some serious detective work to discover the issue, fix it, and get me on the road again. Engine is cruising up hill like butter now. I’m almost looking forward to the next time I have car trouble near Barstow so I can stop in and experience the incredible service again 😂 A rare treat these days!

Theyve gone away from that service due to COVID-19 and havent brought it back. Since I havent had a chance to enjoy that service after 1 year, and three vehicles, I cannot comment on the quality of the detail. They were very informative and didnt make me feel ignorant about what was going on with my car, everything was explained clearly to me and although they made adequate suggestions they didnt try to pressure me into additional purchases, a shuttle was provided for my family and I to get breakfast during the service and the carwash was just icing. What stood out most was the hospitality/customer service, from the time I pulled up to the time I left I was acknowledged and spoken to kindly. Very friendly environment and they do great work. Marsha, service writer, and Sven, master mechanic, were absolutely awesome. I broke down with my Ford E150 van in the middle of the desert, had it towed to them, Marsha found a way to squeeze it in, and Sven, whos actually a troubleshooter -- not a parts replacer, figured out the problem and had it back on the road quickly. An all around wonderful experience, especially considering the duress of breaking down in the desert.

The people there are really great. I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. Ann and Kristy are absolutely amazing. This place is great! I was on my way to Vegas and my cars transmission was acting funny. They helped me out, had a shuttle to take me out while I waited and picked me up. When I got back they not only fixed my car they washed it. They were so very helpful and sweet, it was the best car problem experience I’ve had thanks to them! I was able to make it to Vegas and back without any problems.

I bought a car in April and the buying process was great, however per my contract Mojave Auto was supposed to pay 2595.00 to pay my trade in off. I was given 2595.00 for my trade in so it was a wash. Mojave Auto actually only paid 2185 to the loan company and as of today and numerous calls to Ken in finance and Michelle in budgeting I still havent received the balance of 410.00 thats owed to me. I guess I see small claims court in the future. UPDATE here we are 3 weeks after posting this review and still no one has reached out or returned any phone calls.*UPDATE TO THE UPDATE here we are in October and no response from anyone😠

My wife took my 2016 F-250 in due to a “death wobble” on her way to the river. They were able to duplicated this when on a test drive and said it was the tires. I told them I don’t thinks so as those tires are only half worn and less than 2 years old. I bought new tires and had them delivered to Barstow. 2 hours from my house on Saturday. They didn’t even touch my truck until Monday. I get a call stating that the tires fixed it. While driving home, the same thing occurred.They would refund any money on the 5 days of rental car or the installation of the tires. They gave the line I’ll have to check with my service manager. Which is basically pound sand.Took it to another dealership and they are replacing the gear box because of excessive play and “popping” noise.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this dealership. We were traveling back from Vegas when my truck broke down in the middle of nowhere. I couldn’t find any mobile mechanics or any mechanics that could help.We had the truck towed to Barstow Ford. The service department was closed for the day, however the sales staff helped me. They secured the truck in the service area and the sales staff offered us a place to relax and use the facilities while we waited for our ride home. The mechanic diagnosed the problem the next business day and had it fixed a day later.The staff is friendly, but more importantly I felt they went out of their way to make us feel welcome when were far from home.Thank you Barstow Ford!

I went in for a airbag recall. On the plus side it was done earlier than projected. Great! I was working so I had the wife pick it up and she called me minutes later saying the car wont idle and running rough. Never had a problem like that before. I thought maybe it needed to be relearned like some cars do when the battery is disconnected. Called the dealership to inform them of the situation and first thing I was told is that is was nothing they did and not their fault but would look it over as soon as they could......but most likely it was a bad battery. I asked about if a relearn process was required after the recall and was told it was not needed. WELL.......I decided to do just a tad bit of research and found out that it DID need to be relearned. It took me 2 minutes of googling and found the instructions on the relearn. Performed it and the car was back to normal. The sad thing is that the recall instructions given to the tech will inform them of need to relearn after the recall is performed. Obviously he skipped that part. So because he didnt take the time to read the instructions my wife was panicking and upset, and taking it out on me. Thanks alot.......this make me wonder about the thoroughness of the work performed. Now I cant help but worry about what else was forgotten or skipped. Maybe other people should worry too.................

Made an appointment the week prior to bring it in for regular maintenance, oil change, tire rotation and fuel filter.Only issue was they don’t rotate dually’s. As it’s a ford dealer they’d should have know what vehicle I had and told me they don’t do that there. They apologized and it was no big deal.Work was done on time and as expected.

We were driving in Barstow,CA, and coolant covered the drivers side tire on the inside. I thought we had a bad leak, so we drove straight to the Ford dealer in Barstow. After about 20 minutes, and a thorough check by the service guys, it was determined to be a burp of the cooling system, and no problem was found. With a handshake, we were on our way. God takes care of fools, and the guys at the Ford dealer in Barstow took care of our truck. Thank you so much for your honesty, caring, and great work at no charge. Everytime I bring my car here I continue to have more problems! First it was with the dodge side when I had my Dodge journey. Now with my Pathfinder, I have gotten my oil changed her twice and they said they checked all fluids (that was a lie!) My power steering fluid was bone dry. Then they charged me $130.00 to get my car diagnosed which is standard if you dont have a warranty (which to find out my car did! I had to drive it down to Metro in Redlands! And I will continue too to take my car down there vs here!) I am fighting to get my $130.00 back even though I shouldnt have been charged that in the 1st place! I am telling all family and friends not to go here!

Not recommended. Properly diagnosed my trucks problem, and thats the best I can say for them. It took them 4 days to do it, though. Projected 1.5-2 weeks to get the part and make the repair, so I had to go elsewhere. During the diagnosis wait, they said they would call me with updates during the process, but they never did. When I called to check, they did not return my calls. They did not respond to my emails. The only way I could keep things moving was to be there in person. I wont be back.

I took my diesel truck to Mojave Ford because it was on limp mode. Didnt drive over 10 mph. They charged me 500 for initial service that didnt fix the problem. Then they gave me a quote for a $12,000+ repair that my truck Critically needed to fix the problem. I sent a tow truck and moved the truck to my Diesel mechanic in San Diego. Found out it was all a lie and it only required front and back Knock sensors and re calibration. I even requested extra test on parts that Mojave Ford told me they were no good. I couldnt believe my eyes. In my head theres no one above dealers quality with their trained professionals but I can now say I was horribly wrong. My bill was $350 labor including the extra test i requested and 480 dlls on parts at my local dealer. Wonder how many people have fallen for this scheme.
