Delicious! Its great to have a Mongolian BBQ in the Marysville/Yuba City area. Service was great and friendly. The atmosphere is nice too. Smaller place with a more cozy, family feel. Prices are good too. You get a nice, big bowl to add meat and veggies to and a variety of sauces to add at the end. The person running the grill is efficient and youll soon be sitting down to enjoy a super delicious Mongolian BBQ. Ill be back very soon

Veggies are fresh and plenty choices. We love to come here.The owner looks so done with the place, not so welcome. the waitress are okay, some are really friendly and some are just there.Moreover, It’s fun to customize your own dish and to watch the cooks cook them on flat top grill. Make sure to put enough sauces and flavors.

This is my favorite restaurant! The food there is amazing. Its always fresh and tasty. You can order in and its all you can eat or make your food and take it home which is what we usually do. If you pack your bowl just right you can bring home a really good amount of food. Plus you get there chips and this sweet red dip that is so good. We try to go as often as we can. Everyone should eat there at least once. Best restaurant in town I think.

Came in and was immediately greeted and shown where to go to make my bowl. They had someone picking up dropped food and keeping the place clean, which I greatly appreciate. The line moved quickly and it didn’t take long for them to cook my food. The recommended sauce was delicious, noodles were awesome, and the meat was pretty good. However I’d like to see some more toppings options such as eggs, water chestnut and red bell peppers. The side of rice was also good but the egg roll was not crispy or fresh. Over all 4/5.

Make your own all you can eat BBQ noodle bowl. You get to choose from beef, pork, lamb and chicken. You choose your noodles, veggies and sauces then they grill it all. Also there sesame bread is so good.

WOW! All you can eat noodles with cute little appetizers included(no charge). Great price for the two bowls and the appetizers we got! Absolutely delicious. Would definitely come back with family and friends! I believe it’s $9/$10 for lunch and then $11 for dinner

Atrocious! At 6:30 PM workers locked the doors and didnt let our friends in that were joining us for dinner. Staff were extremely rude about it and made us leave saying that hey only do take-out after 6 (with locked doors.) Owner of this place really needs to clean up the house!

The first time I went to the Mongolian BBQ was in Sacramento California when I then they I love how you can pick all you the good food that you make that you just put in a bowl and you enthralled the first times Frozen you put all the wine sauce is on to it and that you basically bring it up there they cook it right in front of you a lot of restaurants you dont get to see that a big giant two big giant sicks

MONGOLIAN BBQ is one of the more popular eateries in town. It opened at noon but there were already people waiting to get in. The selection of meat and vegetables were somewhat limited, compare to other eateries in big cities like Los Angeles, but what they did offer were fresh and locally grown. It was an enjoyable lunch on a quiet Saturday afternoon.

20 dollars for a take out lunch. Half the ingredients and they will drown your food with water washing away all flavor. If you stack your bowl they will throw half your food off the side of the grill and laugh at you. Not the same as it was 10 years ago across from the mall. We need a new Mongolian in yuba city

Food has been fantastic for years. The best bang for your buck if youve got the appetite. Its very easy to overeat here, which isnt something you can say about many restaurants. Personally, I think that is just fine since the food is well worth it 🤣 The service is usually pretty good too, although seldom, they do forget about you from time to time. Ive had to get up and ask for more water because they just got sidetracked. Its not a big deal, but its still worth mentioning.

We love this place. We love the food but we come back because of the service. When we first had my son, we were exhausted and stumbled upon this place by happenstance. The owner offered to hold our baby while we got our food, which we declined (he was so new to us, we truly didnt want to let him go), but thought she was so sweet for asking. The waitresses come by our table and make sure to keep it tidy and replenished often and its so appreciated when you have kids (also known as ticking time bombs). They treat us like family and when we come in the owner makes a point to say hello and remembers us from previous visits.

I really like this place, amazing food and chefs. The only thing they NEED to change immediately, is the fact that it says they CLOSE AT 8PM. Instead they close their doors at 7:30-maybe even before that, so if you want a to-go order, you might as well kiss Mongolian goodbye, because their times are wrong and its truly annoying thinking that you can get a to-go but cant.

This place could be a solid 5 star with just a little more effort...simple things like labels on the sauces we can read everyday.little more cleaning...4 ladies standing by the soda machine doing nothing doesnt look good to the customers.Cutting back on expected food items isnt going to help keep your customers. Ive had the bread (my wife loves) for years, no peanuts, no pineapple etc... the food is fantastic when theyre up to par... maybe a 5 plus next time.

The worst,loaded my plate including all the spices to make it taste great.What does the old man do as he was cooking it.He walked over to the sink filled up my bowl nearly full of water pours it on to the grill on top of my food. Needless to say my food was tasteless and the meat was so pale. That must has been way of trying to cook my food as fast as he can.I was there about 5 years ago though I would give it another try.This place is still a dump and dirty.I guess you really get what you pay for in this whatever you call it.

Love this place! Only reason for not having 5 stars is because they seem to be out of veggies more often than they have them in stock. But they would receive a 5/5 on literally everything else! I love the feel and idea of making your own, unique creation each time you go in. The vegetables always seem fresh. My one complaint - the meat is never great. Whether its pork, lamb, or beef, it always seems a little dry.

EDIT: 4 of our 5 family members were violently sick within 4 hours of visiting this restaurant, I was the only one lucky enough to escape, and the only one who didnt eat the rice dish that came with the plate.AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Good service, however the gentleman cooking the food did not wipe off his tongs between the last dish he cooked and my own, which resulted in my food becoming intensely spicy, which I rather dislike. Meat was very tough and gristly, the cook left all of the vegetables completely uncooked and as such the carrot was solid as it would be raw. Would not recommend.

Great food, great service. I love coming here and seeing the same owners time and time again. They are always friendly and the food is always delicious. Theres a certain satisfaction from assembling your bowl and have them cook it on the flat top, circular grill. Awesome rice and soup. Wontons and bread make for a good appetizer and are included with every meal. One trip during lunch, as many as you like for dinner. Good that theyre allowing leftovers to be carried out for a small box fee. Overall, one of my favorites in town.

The food was good, couldve been better. The cook added way too much water while cooking the food and our food tasted bland. We had food left over and were told that we would get an additional charge for boxed food if we wanted to take our left overs with us. Our bill went from $37 to $43. As we were paying our bill the lady asked if I was our first time there, we said yes and continued to ask if we would go to Hulas and we said yes. She went on and said I can tell, you packed your bowl too much, my clients dont do that. Needless to say its our first time and last time there.

I have gone to this fabulous restaurant for at least 30 years and have loved the people there ever since. The food is always cooked to perfection. Not the cleanest restaurant. 2 dinners and a soda with a tip was $30 out the door. When we left we felt like $30 worth of pizza would have been better. The iced water tasted like mildew and I couldnt drink it, so Im guessing their ice/water machine is moldy. Also, they didnt have sweet & sour sauce which was disappointing. They were out of and low on alot of produce. Ive had much better elsewhere.

Love this place. I have been coming to this place since I was a teen. They always have a smile on there face which is nice to see. Only thing that I didnt like is that the selection of veggies have changed. My daughter was a little disappointed that there was no broccoli, and I was about mushrooms, but always have a decent selection of fresh produce.

This was my first time going to this place, if you carryout you have to pay first, I got 3 bowls $34. You can only take one bowl per visit to the grill, keep this in mind when ordering to go. The meat is frozen so if you want anything else only put a few pieces of meat (which is probably their way of cutting cost). There were people in front and behind me using there hands to push the food down in the bowls provided, which was gross since these people had not washed their hands. There was a fly fighting people for the noodles and vegetables, so then I am swatting away flies, they used so much water until there is no taste to the food, I should not have to add anything to this food. The sad thing is all the 5 star reviews they get which pretty much tell them they do not need to improve anything from people who obviously do not know what this food should taste like. Just because people are nice does not mean you should not be honest. My advice if you go here is to go Vegan, eat all vegetables. They also add a scoop of white rice and an egg roll, which I did not want and was thrown out. This lady who looked pregnant ask me if she can go in front of me because she was only getting vegetables, well sorry for her they cooked it on the same grill as the meat, so unfortunately for her she ate meat. If you are a real vegetarian don’t go here.

Not good for vegetarians they put all food on the cooker at a time, as it spins they add water I am guessing my daughter 12 doesnt like more vegetables and mine ended up in her bowl. I can see bringing a vegetarian here could cause problems as meat would end up in their bowl. We will go back we enjoyed the food, just noticed those few things for some would be a problem.

Horrible service. The doors were locked at 815pm when it clearly states they close at 830pm. A customer let us in. We were in line grabbing our to go plates as the workers were taking the spoons away before we were done. An older gentlemen came in approximately 825pm and told him they were closed. From my understanding the business closes no later then 830pm. The staff have no personality and the owner charges you extra at a all you can eat Resturant. So if you want a extra bowl rice $1.50, you want a extra bread stick $1.50 etc. They charge you extra if your toddler takes one bite of your food. Horrible Horrible customer service. I can’t wait to make my phone call to the better business bureau! They should never turn service away when they are not closed!! Food and service as good as could be expected in a buffet style facility. It appeared that staff were cleaning counters constantly. Which is great, however, facility showed signs of NOT being kept current and cleaned. Refrigerator appeared to be very dirty (rust stains) and in need of a good cleaning. Also air vents looked like they had not been cleaned in years and a few of the ceiling tiles were in need of replacement.

Since my not-yet-girlfriend (now wife) first brought me to eat here in 1998, this Mongolian BBQ has been my absolute favorite restaurant. I live in Georgia, but when visiting my in-laws here, everyone knows that I will be eating several meals at Mongolian BBQ. I have to get my fix! Nothing Ive tried back East even approaches this place. Even when its been over a year between visits out here, the friendly wife of the owner always remembers my wife and I.This shows more than just the frequency of my visits -- it helps explain the frequency of my visits. The food is great, but so is the service. If you try it and dont care too much for the food, remember that you can completely vary the ingredients or sauces next time and have an absolutely different dish. The suggestions they provide are tasty as well, so you can rely on that if you dont want to have to think about it. This is great food, people.

Dont go within the last 45 minutes of them being open. At 8:50 they were hovering and mopping within a few feet of our table. We could smell the dirty mop water. Two other employees just stood watching us eat. We were close to being finished anyway, but it was just awkward. All the chairs were on tables. Their hours are really strict I guess. They want you GONE before 9 PM. We left at 9:10 and they practically slammed the door behind us. Bizarre.

The only thing that I could think of that may be off putting to some would be the frozen meat selection. This is the new location of the ever popular YC Mongolian BBQ. I had not been to the new restaurant and its roomy with lots of booths and tables. The have a big lunch crowd so when we got there at 11:30 we had our pick of booths. The ingredients are fresh, with a good variety to choose from. Part of the fun is customizing your own meal and then watching it be cooked. Our huge bowl of food arrived fast and steaming hot! Its all you can eat, but I never can go back for more, happy, full tummy.

I wanted to fry my small bowl of rice with my vegetables and I asked the fry guy he said no problem, yet when I put my rice in bowl to go down the line the owner stopped me and said rice was already fried, which she must think that you are stupid if you are not Asian, the rice is boiled, needless to say her absolute rudeness ruined the experience, the meat Im really not sure if its beef, pork or chicken but it was nice to have fresh veggies, I truly cannot recommend this place, I will drive the hour to Benihanas in Sacramento to get better quality and service

By Far the Best Mongolian BBQ Ive ever had. Sauce is unique but stick to Kung Pao and the House Special sauce you wont be disappointed. Prices are great. Think I paid around $7 for all you can eat. When you go into the establishment the decor seems a bit outdated and typical for an Asian restaurant but dont let that fool you. Service and food is amazing here. My advice, load up on the sauce, A lot gets lost on the grill. It will really matter depending on how much flavor your looking for.
