2023-11-15 00:29:29Stopped by for lunch after the Long Beach Half Marathon. There was a table open so we were able to sit down quickly. We were tended too by a young woman that was verrrrrrryyyyy quiet. We were concerned our order would be wrong since she wasnt writing anything down. 😅 She did miss one thing, but it was rectified right away. The food was all freshly made, so it did take a bit to receive and the table wasnt all served at the same time, which made things a bit awkward. Nonetheless, Id definitely return as the food was delicious.I recommend to anyone seeking authentic Cambodian cuisine.

2023-08-03 02:45:08The beef and Ginger the papaya salad even the calamari was pretty delicious the mee Katang was not what I was expecting but still good. If I’m being honest, the thing I enjoyed the least, was the white rice. It was extremely soggy and over cooked but not bad the service was great everybody was so kind and nice. They also had some fried pork skins $20 for a big gallon bag. I felt like it was a bit pricey but they were delicious I’m still working on that bag great little spot if you’re looking for a taste of Cambodia in Cambodia town, Long Beach the neighborhood and the food was reminiscent of my hometown Lowell, Massachusetts, which also has a Cambodia town we enjoyed our visit and we look forward to dining again

2023-11-18 04:00:35Soooo good! I had the Khmer noodle (pictured), my partner had the mint leaf chicken. Both were great but the Khmer noodle was stellar! The chicken also came with an amazing bone broth soup. Nice chill vibe (even the background music), cute place, fabulous service. We’ll definitely be back; see you there.

2021-11-10 05:37:46This was a nice place for dinner on a chilly Long Beach night. I came here with a friend after failing to find an open Pho spot in the neighborhood. We stumbled upon Monorom and decided on ordering 3 dishes in total: the house fried rice w/chicken, the beef stew noodle, and the shaken beef. My personal favorite was the shaken beef, i liked the sweet and savory flavor and tenderness of the meat. The house fried rice was also a nice dish paired along with the chili sauce which was a little on the spicier side but great flavor. My friend really enjoyed the beef stew rice noodle dish; I enjoyed the rice noodles but expected the dish to be spicier than it was sweet. Still, the stew was full of flavor without excessive saltiness. The proportions were fair for the price; I may be a bit biased because I am used to large servings. (Please note that the pictures included were taken after we had several bites of the dishes).

2023-04-04 23:34:35Food was great and the customer service was terrific. the owners were really welcoming and friendly. a strange man came inside the restaurant and approached me and my friend (a typical night at long beach), and the owner (i believe) came to our rescue and made him leave. thank you from both of us; we really appreciated it :)

2022-12-27 17:32:59While driving around the local area our usual stop is Phnom Penh Noodle Shack, we found this spot and decided to check it out. Phnom Penh was super packed and we didnt want to wait.Monorom had one table occupied when we came in. We were greeted by a young man who welcomed us with a cheerful attitude.Offered us a choice of their specialty drinks. My wife got their Cambodian style ice coffee, kiddo got Thai iced tea, and I got their fresh coconut 🥥 water. For starters we got their spring rolls which came with shrimp 🍤 and their homemade fish sauce. My wife ordered their red curry noodles which had chicken, kiddo ordered their Phad Thai, and I ordered their Duck Noodle soup with large rice noodles.🍜Everything was delicious and I thought their broth for the duck noodle soup tasted even better than Phnom Penhs bone broth 🤫😝Our server suggested their Chinese donuts which usually pairs well with soups or congee. Sure enough said suggestion was a great one, for their donuts had a better quality in texture and taste than the other popular competitive restaurant. We may be coming back here for Cambodian cuisine.Place was clean, organized, and service was excellent. So if youre in the mood for some awesome Cambodian cuisine, stop by and please check out their menu and order up some food!We will definitely will be back to sample more items on the menu 👍

2023-09-12 12:45:49Cambodian food = soul food🔥 You gotta try some to see what I mean. This place has big portion sizes for the amount you pay. So much flavors and textures👌 I always get MEEKATANG and Beef Lok Lak. Give it a try, you won’t regret it🤝

2023-06-16 02:37:41My husband is Cambodian and I lived in Siem Reap for 5 years. We just relocated to Atlanta & we haven’t been able to find any Cambodian food so while we were in LA for a wedding- we came all the way to Long Beach just to get Cambodian food. This food was heaven sent and the server was incredibly kind and attentive. We had the bok lahong, prahok ktis, and samlor machu kreung and it was so flavorful and delicious. The soup was probably our favorite!
