Me and my husband love coming to this crepe place. There are outdoor and indoor seating of your choice. We found out they just changed ownership a month ago. Not sure what happened but hope they keep the good quality of food and service and maintain the friendly relationships with our local frequent customers. They do close at 2pm on weekdays so so go at 1:30pm. We are until 2pm but felt some pressure and rush because the staff started stacking up empty chairs and putting away the condiments on the table. We got a feeling of we need to hurry up cz they are closing without a staff coming to tell us to take our time and enjoy our lunch. Thats a little thing they can improve on. Other than that, the food were great. We usually order one sweet and one savory. Since we had too much sweet stuff in the morning that day, this time we ordered two savory crepes -- Chicken Pesto and a Smoke Salmon. Will come back again.

Came here on the advice of a coworker. I was not disappointed. The service was prompt, and friendly. The restaurant was very clean, and more importantly the food was amazing. Everything is made to order fresh. I enjoyed the prosciutto baguette, and my wife had the pesto crepes. The coffee was good too. Great value for the price. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

We arrived early around 8:30 and the staff were busy. There are lovely outdoor and indoor seatings. We had the fruity(banana, strawberry and mango pieces with chocolate sauce) and pesto(pesto grilled chicken and sun-dried tomato in oil) crepes and we both preferred the pesto. The portions were just right.

Had to take the rest to go.Mocha - $4.25 - Not too sweet yet tasty!Service/Ambiance - Quick service. Authentic French crepes prepared by authentic French owners. This is one of the finest cafes in the area. I have been enjoying the creations for yrars. Highly recommend.Greatest crepes. They have savory and dessert. Our whole family loves to come here on weekends.

This is not only a wonderful breakfast/lunch place, it is also a GREAT DINNER SPOT in Sierra Madre! (They are open daily for breakfast/lunch - except Monday - and currently, theyre open for dinner Fri/Sat evenings, though we are hoping their dinner hours will expand!!) We accidentally stumbled upon this adorable place just a few months ago, and we have been here every weekend since. We have lived and dined all over Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and this small-town bistro has THE BEST French Onion Soup we have ever had, hands down. Their quiches are made in-house by the talented chef and are among the most unique and flavorful quiches. As well, the Beef Bourguignon is equally addictive. The ingredients they use here are fresh and flavorful -- youll see by the fresh herbs used in their dishes. The service and staff here are wonderful! We HIGHLY recommend it and know you wont be disappointed!

I ordered a caramelized apple crepe and got flavorless apple sauce filled crepes. When I think of caramelized apples, I think of apple pie filling or those fun theme park candy apples. Besides the updated decor, I hope the new owners gloss over the menu and make some improvements to the food quality itself.In response to the owner: No, I did not get the incorrect order. Another reviewer has mentioned the same thing about the apple crepe. Own it.

My friend treated me to one of his favorite spots for a belated birthday brunch. This is my first time eating at this restaurant.Its in Sierra Madre, small but very cozy. The atmosphere is casual and the decor reminds you of a French cafe! I noticed that it was very clean inside.The service is on point!!!! We did not have to flag anyone down for water, coffee refills, etc..We both had the quiche and soup combo-potato leek soup, spinach and goat cheese quiche $18.95. I had a side of fresh fruit $5.95 and coffee $2.95. It was very very delicious expecially the soup!!!! Oh my God!!!! 😋😋😋The portions were big! My part was $27.85 before tax. But whos counting, he was treated me out for my belated birthday! 😆Needless to say, we were both very full and satisfied. Such as life, we sat there for a bit to let the food digest so we could get up and walk later. 😆😆😆Yes, we had dined sufficiently!!!! After about 40 minutes we got up and walked around town and enjoyed the day.This place is good enough for about 3 maybe 4 people to dine comfortablely. Its a bit noisy but full of laughter and people enjoying the food and each others company!!!I would definitely be coming back to try some other items on the menu but mostly for the warm, and friendly dining experience!!!!!

Bonjour tous le monde!Been to Paris and i gotta tell you, there seems to be something much more special about this place.The fresh ingredients that went into these crepes is something to emulate.I have been to a bunch of places that say they are French cuisines but only to be met with a watered-down version to fit american palates.This place is a quaint little shop that serves very simple ingredients which melds together to create savory and sweet crepes.We got the Lapistou, La Normande and topped off with the La Tropique crepe.Delicious!Good friendly atmosphere and i love their choice of music. Classics with a mix of modern beats. (I wish i knew what the playlist was). One of the songs was Dj Disse & Batino Abager Cheek to Cheek.This place has indoor dining and street side dining... very comfy to sit and watch people and the world pass by. Great view of the mountain and friendly faces.If in the neighborhood again, we will stop by and try other items. I was soooo full but really wanted to try the quiches! Didnt have anymore room.A must try place for those who want good food.Just remember, happy wife, Happy life!

Great French place!! Pastrami sandwich is one of the best I ate in a long time. Glad it is owned by my dads side of the family, which is my cousin and her husband. Made it to the grand opening last Sunday and people came there, it was a lot. Very satisfied about it. Willing to go again in this Sierra Madre/Arcadia area place. Highly recommend it!!

Enjoyed my time at this Cafe. Small, cozy with a good selection of food and drinks. Biggest suggestion is to have a host seating people who want to dine-in when it gets busy (weekend mornings). I went on a Saturday AM and people were awkwardly waiting and standing in the entranceway just looking for a table. Meanwhile people were sometimes taking up more space than needed (2 tables for 2 people). This could be alleviated with a host or better seating organization.

The food was delightful, especially after coming off the mount Wilson trail. Im sure the other patrons were not excited we were there but idgaf, I was hungry! The lemonade hit the spot, I couldnt suck that down quick enough. I ordered a sandwich and my friend ordered a crepe, then we both got desert. I must say, everything was delicious! I live in Oxnard, so I probably wont be back soon, but I will be back. Probably just as dirty, sweaty, stinky, thirsty, and hungry too ;)

Came here for brunch and we had a great experience! I had the LOceane which had smoked salmon with avocado and creme; the crepe they have is not your typical flour it is more chewy and tastes healthier! Their pastrami sandwich is also so good. This place has great ambiance and a lot of outdoor spaces. Super pet friendly, the waiters brought my dog a bowl of. water - so sweet! Would definitely come here again with my friends!

Monsieur Crepe is in the heart of the charming town on a hill, Sierra Madre. The owner and staff are very sweet, great service. I had the brie and turkey Normandie (so delicious) and my wife had a tuna baguette sandwich which was also delicious. The bread pudding was perfect, not too sweet. A wonderful taste of France here in San Gabriel Valley.

Fantastic crepe and sandwich cafe. Very friendly staff, very welcoming. Food was amazing, everything fresh housemade including the best vinaigrette Ive ever had. Pastrami sandwich on baguette with side salad, Normande crepe, Tropical crepe and Veggie crepe all very fresh, so light and delicious. Their quiches look amazing too, didnt try yet but bought one to take home. Highly recommend.

This cafe was incredible. The staff was incredibly friendly, French and super helpful. I got a cappuccino with caramel and it was perfectly balanced, my boyfriends regular cappuccino was amazing as well. Their breakfast special was delicious and I got a salmon crepe and was instantly obsessed with it. I will definitely be coming back here again next time I’m in town.

I have been Going to this Cafe for many years. It used to be exceptionally good. I always get a large latte when I am here from Switzerland. I knew the owner & we would chat in French. But I went recently and the entire ambiance was fake. I got my large latte & it was super sweet. I ask the girl if she made it with sweetener, she said over & over ‘No’! I also paid for xtra shots to make it stronger because it was so weak.Then, she finally admitted she added vanilla flavor. I should have asked for my $$$ back. It was awful & a complete disappointment!I think the French were bought out & the copy-cats don’t compare DÉSOLÉ :( O stars

I found this great spot walking around the beautiful quaint town of Sierra Madre. I had no idea this place even existed at the foothills of the mountains. But I lucked out picking this spot to eat lunch. I had the tuna baguette, and it was incredible. It was so good that I was willing to forgo my initial plans of either having a sweet crepe or their bread pudding, which looked fantastic, and I got another tuna baguette, ate half and brought the other half home for later. If I ever make it back out to this really cool area, Ill be sure to come back here.

We loved our savory mushroom crepe and our sweet fruit crepe that we split. Would have given them a 5 star rating based on the crepes. However, they used to sell their wonderfully flakey and buttery croissant to go, and they said they have stopped doing that, as the croissants are now reserved for the sandwiches. Such a disappointment.

Monsieur Crêpe un petit français crêpe et café that offer a unique cali-french food that you can enjoy. Theyre located on Sierra madre blvd between Baldwin ave and Windsor Ln. We came here to grab petit déjeuner before going hiking. As you enter you will see the open kitchen and you will have to order at the counter first before taking a table/seat. Interior atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Its interior decor is plain especially their massive white wall albeit decorated with small French arts and culture. Indoor dining has nine small wooden tables and has a maximum capacity of 20 people; outdoor front patio has 12 max capacity seats. We ordered coffee and les baguette veggie sandwiches (spinach, cucumbers, roasted bell peppers, grilled onions, feta cheese, avocado, pesto aioili and balsamic dressing) that come with green salad. It was tasty, flavorful and healthy. Je lai aimé. Their coffee was unlimited and brewed perfectly. Staff were competent, attentive and professional. Service was moderately fast. Prices were reasonable and competitive. Street parking and lot is available. Overall, we had a wonderful breakfast experience and will comeback for their Crêpes and other sandwiches.
