Food was tasty. One of my friends ordered the lobster dish. It was $75. The portion was good for the price. We sat at the bar and received great service from the bar staff. The scallion pancake was not a pancake it looked like a spring roll.

Had a great experience dining here for brunch. Our server, Richard was really pleasant and attentive. The food was amazing, it was quite a surprise. We enjoyed the atmosphere. 5 stars and will definitely be back when Chef Morimoto graces the restaurants anniversary.

Lost of expectations. coming to this place my wife and kid went to the original and they had a blast however I knew this was the least expensive version I just didnt imagine what that meant .SERVICE very very slow nice people but very slow tried ordering some food but took forever to get soup and appetizers food was good but feels like no one cares about what happens here food took a long time the only fast service we got was the young kid bringing water and clearing the table around otherwise not cool server forgot to place the order for my food . ge was nice but very slow and the guy next to our table seemed ever worse again nice people but ohhh my while we were there one table walked out due to lack of service and a other was about to had it not being because the kid was supper apologetic over all food was good but service makes it bad you can not enjoy what doesnt make it to the table or if it makes it when youre already having a bad experience....

Some of the best sticky ribs Ive ever had, but the portion size is small (2 per order). Everything else is family style. Be aware that the beef chow fun has mushrooms in it. Very clean and fresh food. Service is a bit slow. Beer selection could be better, but they do serve Coke products

Sadly disappointed tonight —- service and food were okay, but were nothing special for the price we paid for. Lobster Pad Thai had the lobster with its shell so it was a little difficult to eat. The mushrooms that came with the wagyu special were way too salty and overpowered the steak. Xia Long Bao (not pictured) were okay: again, nothing special. $5 for a glass of soda.

We went for dim sum brunch on a Saturday. They had select dim sum offerings from the main menu at a lower price. It was super busy but the service was great! They go around each table with different offerings and whatever you decide to get they mark it down on the dim sum brunch menu. You will also be offered a separate menu for additional items that are not included in the brunch. We got the beef chow fun (HIGHLY recommend), Peking duck which, is also served with a hot plate in case you need to warm it up, and xiao long bao (good but I had better). From the dim sum brunch menu we recommend the eggplant, kung pao bao, crab Rangoons, chicken & pork gyoza, mushroom dumplings and shrimp shumai. The pork spring rolls were a bit bland for me. We loved the ambiance, especially their choice of classic music such as louis Armstrong and frank sinatra. Overall, I would say this is a great place for dim sum beginners.

While the atmosphere was nice and on the river, it took a while to get a server and they werent busy... it was a Monday nite. The food is pricey for what it is. For instance, $19 for 5 pieces dim sum that were meh. Crab rangoon was 4 pieces and meh, kind of bland. The edamame, while plentiful, was meh... didnt pop in the mouth. Id say the best thing here was the cocktails.

What youd expect from a world renowned chef... Fresh ingredients prepared with the highest standards. Excellent service from impeccable staff! Asian food, not just Japanese (down a few doors is Morimotos other restaraunt for sushi, etc.) Full bar, patio dining. Parking structure on block.Wheelchair accessible entrance, dining, restrooms.

The service was very mediocre at best. Our food came out 10 minutes apart. The music was terrible, and the look of the restaurant is low end as if you are at a PF Changs. We dined at Morimotos in Hawaii and its a great high end experience. Not so much in Napa... we were very, very disappointed!!

The space is amazing and the food is quite good. There seem to be some kinks to work out, which is expected from a new restaurant - mostly with regard to service. The black pepper beef and duck tacos were incredible. The string beans are also pretty delish. The chili chili chicken is as advertised - way more chili than chicken. Its an experience but probably wont be an item I order again. Overall I really enjoyed it, and Im confident Ill update the rating to 5-star when they get into a better rhythm.

To be charitable, this place is obviously undergoing “growing pains” as it’s only recently opened. That said, service was laughably poor. My wife and I are still shaking our heads over the multiple misfires over our steamed pork bun order. The ambiance is strange, the food is just OK and the prices are high, particularly in light of the value offered in the form of service and food quality. Napa needs a great Chinese-focused Asian restaurant. This isn’t it.

The manager was not friendly. We got there early with reservations to sit outside by the river restaurant, which was practically empty. Manager wanted for us to sit away from river side and when we requested to sit by the riverside he put us away from the riverside on a very small table, when we requested ti sit by the riverside he said no! There were 12 empty tables and besides us only one other couple there. When waiter came, he asked why we dont look happy, I told him there were 12 empty tables and they forced us to sit on the smallest table, he went to talk to manager to move us to a bigger table, to his surprise the manager said NO.

This whole dinner experience was not great. We were seated quickly, which was nice, but it was not very busy. We ordered food and it came fairly quickly. But it was served without any serving utensils (like fried rice). Then the crepe was cut in half when we had a party of three. The server Carlo(s?) was not very attentive - I think he checked in once. The food was mediocre at best; definitely not worth the price. The crepe smelled like fish despite there not being any fish in it; not an enjoyable aroma. The manager never came over. In fact all he did was loiter around the host stand. Oh and the bathroom wasn’t clean - the urinal had 2-3 feet of liquid (pee?) on the floor in front of it. The manager came into the bathroom directly behind me to check it (?) but didn’t clean it up. The manager tried to stop us as we were leaving. How odd for a not busy night. In my opinion, this place doesn’t live up to the hype nor does it live up to the cost.I need to update this. The manager came over literally as we were putting out coats on (not sure why he waited that long). We explained what happened and all he did was tell us that hopefully it’ll be better “next time”… Like, hello! There isn’t going to be a next time! Why would we come back and spend all this money on what’s likely to be another terrible experience?! Totally clueless and just cemented the idea that we never want to go back there and won’t recommend it to anyone - locals or visitors.I’d like to add that they replied very quickly to this review asking for me to contact them, but I did and have not heard a peep back. Seems like it’s all for show and they don’t actually care. Again, another reason not to go!

The best part of this place was the dim sum cart, I wish it had come around more than once. Overall we had a good experience here, the food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The place is family style, which we didnt realize beforehand, but it worked out with 6 of us. That being said though, we were sat at the end of a super long, narrow high top and it was pretty crowded once all the food came out and it was just uncomfortable... For as much food as we got, it came out to a fair price. My only price complaint would be the pomegranate spritzer mocktail, $8 seemed a bit much. I only gave it 4 stars because while the food was good, it wont be all that memorable. If in the area again I would go to the other Morimoto over this one.

Wow. What service. Patrick and his team was simply AMAZING. The Dim Sum, should be called Dim Sum More (because youll want more)... and the WHOLE FRIED FISH was to die for (and Im not a huge fish guy). Overall everything was great. They made my wife (that just had a kidney transplant) and they made her feel special. THANK YOU.....

We went to Morimoto Asia! The experience is terrible!!! Whatever you want, they don’t have it. No jasmine tea, no mori mojito, NO SERVING AT ALL!!! We went to 1:15 pm. I got my first drink after 35mins. But the customers next to me kept getting food and drinks also they ordered food and drinks around the same time as me.Moreover, I keep requesting dim sum cart service because the cart only go to the table next to me only, complete ignore me!! Then, after I requested for 3 times, after an hour I finally have dim sum cart come over. However, there is a clothes fiber inside the chicken congee!! That’s SAD! NO SERVICE, NO QUALITY AT ALL!

We went into town specifically to have lunch at Morimoto Asia, apon arrival we were greeted by the host that was wearing a tee shirt and had HIS messy hair in a ponytail, very unprofessional to say the least. First contact from any establishment sets the tone and tells prospective customers just what kind of establishment theyre entering. The host working today 11/12/22 set a poor example for the entire restaurant.We went elsewhere and got deli sandwiches.

We went to dinner without a prior reservation and they gave us a table waiting for half an hour. The service is very attentive, the food is very good but the price is not too cheap for the quality and quantity of food. Everything else was perfect, the atmosphere was very lively and the cocktails were delicious.

We strolled past and asked for a table. Friendly welcome and we got a nice table with a view of the river. The food was delicious and filling. Everyone was fed up. Price-performance ratio fits. We have nothing to complain about. The Thick Rice Noodles “Beef Chow Fun” are excellent. But the ramen is also delicious.
