It was dirty, not enough lights, no reading lamp, stairways were dark, smelly, and the cement was cracked and crumbling. The blinds were missing slats or the slats were broken. There were no wands to open or close the blinds. The light in the bathroom was so dim that I couldn’t see to put makeup on. No in room coffee
A nice hotel in a quiet, isolated mountain town. Beds were comfy, staff were friendly, a 24 hour Flying J next door and convenient highway access once the stay is over.Wouldnt mind staying here again

Well firstly the hallways and lobby smelled really bad. I’m not sure if this was made worse because they were painting. The check in service was good (night shift). The room isn’t too shabby for the price. The bathroom was a little questionable but not horrible. The hallways carpets look disgusting but I’m not hanging out in the hallways so it didn’t really matter. The room inside was spacious and they brought a fridge by request.The deadbolt on my door didn’t work at all which was a safety issue :/WiFi also isn’t accessible.Rude morning staff.
The sheets werent clean and the room was dirty. I can smell the sweat of other people laying on the pillow. You get what you paid for.

The woman working the desk in the evening is very very rude. Don’t believe any advertised prices because those are only relevant to truck drivers with commercial licenses, or so she says. So whatever advertised price you see will be at least $40 more once you get there. Place is disgusting as well which will have you looking elsewhere if the horrible staff doesn’t already. Just stay across the street where the price is literally the same for a much nicer room and immensely better staff.
Rooms were small but cozy. The beds suck. Night time guy was great. Morning lady had huge attitude. Decent place to sleep.
The bathroom was leaking yellow from its floor and the bathroom sink was spraying every where. When we asked them what was up, they said oh its because theres a leak. Not sure why they put you in that room.. With no compensation other than too give us 10% off tonight. The staff was nice. Bit the over all was not ok.
From my experience the visit I had the employees were friendly seemed like there is some updating going on throughout but I didnt have a problem with any noise of any such. Average room could use more sprucing up. The closet was right at the entrance inside room. I really liked the marble tile in shower area. Had to use the heater because there was snow, took a while (10mins or so) to heat up but worked. Beds are average but clean. So if you have like a back problem or need a certain type of bed then try another hotel.
We stayed 2 nights.Nina & Melissa as well as our Latino housekeeper lady treated us like family members.They were so sweet, courteous, caring, helpful & very kind ladies. Rooms were clean beds were very comfortable would stay again. Would like to recommend having coffee ☕️ in lobby or rooms available. I would also like to suggest that if it is a NON SMOKING MOTEL than ALSO BAN smoking WEED in the rooms as well . We could smell WEED in the hallways near our room & when told lady with purple hair she said “ what can I do it’s legal in California “ I get that have NO problem with smoking weed BUT if you can’t smoke cigarettes 🚬 in room than DONT ALLOW the smoking of weed either. It seems like a double standard.

The hotel was being renovated but still paid full rate. Advertised 50.00 and paid 71 and dealing with construction. There were lights hanging in the hallways. If someone was tall they would have hit them.Ice cost 25 cents for a bucket and no coffee in the morning.
Surprisingly excellent. Next to travel store/gas station and 24hr Wendy’s. Pet friendly. Best Motel six I’ve ever stayed.

Im not giving this three stars because its bad, its average. It really is a cheap motel stay while youre traveling and not much more. The front desk guy was friendly and super helpful with motel and local info. The room is big, but really sparse. Theres only one small lamp in addition to the overhead light at the door, for example. But again, its affordable! I like the place for it simple honesty, although I do wish theyd replace the hall carpets.
Lobby floors were not vacuumed dust and debris everywhere! Dust on the floors in the room. The stand that housed the refrigerator and microwave was disgusting. Key cards didnt work even after being fixed. Housekeeping staff needs to work not stand around. MOTEL 6 LEBEC

I dont normally leave reviews but this one was a great experience, the staff was beyond more than great, I am in pain due to a twisted knee and cant walk very well and they went above and beyond to accommodate me and my requests. Ask of an updated or remodeled room if you with to have working A/C and up to date amenities. Our room was basic but clean. Its a Motel 6 so it did have some suspicious looking characters staying there (a guy was walking around the hallways with his shirt off in the wee hours of the night). The room didnt smell like smoke but the hallway sure did. But hey, the price was right and overall I dont have any complaints!
Nice but basic. Room is nice, was remodeled had newer decent size flat screen, comfy bed, large couch with pull out in King room, staff was friendly and the best part NO bugs of any kind were found, was great for the price would stay again. Only things that sucked were no coffee maker, no decor not even 1 picture on the wall, inside hall way and outside are in desperate need of upgrades, none of which really effected the stay.
We stayed one night in this Motel 6, using it as a one night stop over to break up our drive down to Southern CA from the Bay Area for the Thanksgiving holiday. On the plus side, easy location near the freeway, easy to make a reservation on-line using our AARP discount (good value), quiet room and friendly front desk staff. The hallways and the room needed some updating, peeling hallway wallpaper, the carpet and walls were stained in our room, but the room was odorless, carpets vacuumed, bathroom shower/floors clean. It did look like they were getting ready to do some updating, windows were covered in plastic as if they were prepping for painting the exterior of the building, maybe the insides were next for a refresh? I did find some fine hairs on my sheets, which might gross some people out, but the linens were clearly washed so I just picked them off and hey the price was right and served our purpose just fine. We’d stay there again if we needed a one night stop over.BTW- nice Mexican restaurant nearby Los Pinos, that we enjoyed & I’ll do a separate review on at a later date.
Positive: Will book again. Staff was amazing-skilled, empathic, and friendly. We were snowed in and they handled everything so well. Will be my go to when coming through the grapevine!
Stopped over for 1 night with my dogs on a road trip. Perfectly adequate for the price. Room was clean and the bed was more comfortable than I expected. If you need somewhere to crash for a night itll do.

Room couldnt black out the light. They vacuumed the hall at 430 am. I didnt get a lick of sleep. The bed springs were so loud, nobodys getting lucky in these rooms
3am tired, cold, and far from home. Motel 6, they left the light on for me. Room was super clean, customer service was spectacular. By far the best motel 6 I ever stayed at.

This hotel is gross. Had no fire alarm in the room. The towels in the bathroom looked like they were 10 years old and not washed with detergent. The bathroom had terrible water damage and was fixed with no effort. The beds were not clean either. I understand this is a cheaper priced hotel but the room shouldn’t look and feel like we walked into a pay by the hr spot.
The room smell, the floor was so sticky like if they dont sweep or mop. It looks dusty. But I cant get over the smell. Its like a rotten/sewer smell. Its just gets worse and worse. The floor its just so bad

The staff was very nice. The room was not worth $85 for one night. There was dust all along the carpet edges. It was visible! The bed frames had dust. The walls were dirty looking. The bathroom shower had grime in the corner. I know its a budget motel and functionality is what you need, however you also dont want to stay in a room that looks dirty! The mini fridge and microwave were nice though. I wont be staying at another motel 6. Also our TV didnt work. The staff was nice and came to fix it but it took a while.
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet, pet friendly, low priced room on the Grapevine, this is the place!I was able to park very close to the front entrance and I got a lovely, incredibly clean and freshly painted room for the night. They had dark wood laminate flooring, which is just so much nicer than carpet because you know its clean! And a nice bed and a very clean bathroom with nice bright lights that are great for applying make up.Even though I was close to the lobby, it was very quiet and I got a great nights sleep with my little cat.I was surprised at how little it cost and how easy it was!The staff were really friendly and nice, and it was absolutely perfect for what I needed! If ever I am stuck in the Grapevine again, this is definitely the place where I will stay!
Negative: The hotel is a disgrace to the motel 6 name. Toilet was dirty and plugged manager didn¿t offer to switch just grabbed a plunger and barely wiped it down when unplugged. Room was filthy and the dumpster was right at the entrance and smelled horrible!
Beds have great mattresses and the room was very clean! Could use a coffee pot in the room. Very happy and will definitely put on our plus list!
Excellent location right off I-5, clean rooms and friendly staff. Rooms are kinda small equipped withmicrowave, mini fridge, ice bucket and 2 bars of soap. No in room coffee service and be sure to bring your own toiletries. There is a small coffee service near the front desk to grab a shot of coffee on your way out but no breakfast available. There is, however, plenty of parking for cars, campers and truckers alike. The hotel backs up against the truck stop and there is a dirt lot for extra parking with a taco truck and other nearby restaurants

Wanted something to break up the drive from Sacramento to San Diego. I think others referenced some updated rooms so perhaps others were nicer than what we stayed in. The room itself was clean enough (though the bathroom was rough). The hallways in the wing we stayed were kinda gross. Nothing much around other than a truck stop which is fine as long as you know. Sorry to say but wouldnt stay again.
I didn’t like anything. The Staff Stole my things and was not punished/fired. The Manager refused to give me a discount for having my items stolen by THEIR Staff. Worst experience I have ever had. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. And I will NEVER stay there again. Room Service was terrible. When they exchanged the towels for “clean” towels, they gave me even dirtier towels than the ones I already had. They cleaned the room 1 time during my 10 day stay. That is terrible. When I brought up my concerns to Management She gaslighted me and denied any of the poor service received, stating “My stay was fine”.
If a zero rating was possible, that would be my score. Dont let the 3,9 rating fool you! Perfect location, unfortunately one of the worst hotels weve stayed in! Amenities include airconditioners in every room. Dont be fooled, they do not work and windows in rooms also cant open. Non-smoking rooms? Found sigarette buds in our room. Do not have pets with us, and in an attempt to get a room with a working airconditioner, had to settle for a pet friendly room. Room reeked of pet urine. Cant decide whats worse, the smell or the heat and lack of fresh air! Rooms are definitely not properly cleaned. Reception is dirty, windows clearly havent been washed in years. I can excuse run down carpets and furniture (both very evident at this hotel), but cleanliness do not cost money. Effort, but not money! The hotel is definitely full, due to the location. It is a slap in the face of your patrons for the lack of respect you have towards us, taking our money (and it is not cheap!), but expecting us to accept the standard. Most of your guests are professional drivers, working 14 hour shifts daily. This hotel is a disgrace and whoever owns/manages this place, should be ashamed of themselves!

I always stay at Motel 6, because they are dog friendly. I was stranded in Lebec while my Jeep was being repaired, and stayed at this motel for a day and two nights. The whole entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the maintenance on site is not the greatest. Our room was fine, everything functioned perfectly. However, the carpeting in the lobby area and hallways is quite old and needs replacing. Theres also a bit of an odor coming from that old carpet. Also, the vending machines were not working. There is a nice courtyard to sit in, unfortunately other dog owners have allowed their dogs to use it as a potty stop and have not cleaned up after them. Although this is the dog owners responsibility, it would be nice if the motel cleaned up after the irresponsible owners so the rest of us could enjoy the area more. Very convenient, the truck stop and restaurants are literally right out the back door of the hotel. Felt very safe while staying there. A lot of places very close to walk my dogs even though it is right next to the freeway. I would highly recommend despite the maintenance issues.

Not a scary place to stay. The area is convenient to gas and food. The room was cleaner than many M6 and the front staff was helpful and friendly.My biggest complaint, like many M6, was that the entrance and walk way to our level had a lot of urine and garbage, it was stinky. Going in and out of that dirty landing makes you wonder what other cleaning corners they are cutting. I know thats outside your room but still it gives you a bad feeling.Since the room itself was pretty clean I would probably stay there again if traveling that way.
I’ve stayed in worse so at least there’s that. Room had no wall decorations to give it a comfortable feel. Beds reminded me of a large hospital bed with uncomfortable mattresses. No shampoo and conditioner. No dresser. The building itself doesn’t seem to be well maintained at all. Wallpaper decor is peeling in hallways, windows don’t look to have been cleaned in a long time, smell of sewage outside the front of the hotel, no vending machines, no coffee makers in rooms and no coffee available anywhere in the building. At $100.00 a night for one person then I’d think they would offer a little more. Clearly owned by someone who doesn’t know how to invest in their own investment.
I was kinda ify about this place because there were a lot of bad reviews but i took a chance since our trip was last minute & let me tell you it was great! 10/10 recommend! There’s a wendys and a flying pilot gas station/store literally 2 minute walking distance in the same parking lot area. Customer service was great! Always greeted us and even let us know directions and everything they have close by! There’s also a pizza place that delivers right to your room (they give you a paper menu of it when you check in). My husband and I are definitely coming back here.

Overall the room was nice. We were just surprised that the person at the front desk was not even attempting to wear a mask during a pandemic! So that made me wonder about their safety and cleaning procedures. We wiped down everything ourself. Not cool!
Positive: Most of all we liked the location that the hotel was in period generally we stay in button Willow but there was no water in button Willow so we had to look other accommodations.
Stayed here two nights. Very clean room as well as comfortable bed. So happy we could have our dogs with us. Employess are polite and gracious. In a very nice and well lit area. My go to from now on when visiting Bakersfield.
Relatively clean, very comfortable bed, and very convenient. There was no shampoo/conditioner, and the towels looked like they may have been dirty or just had lots of lint. The front desk staff was also super friendly and helpful when we rolled in at 11:15pm.Overall I wouldve given it a 4 stars, but the biggest problem was pretty noticeable - our door didnt work with the key card, but when we got there we could just push it open anyways. Obviously there was a deadbolt that worked when we were inside, but the fact that the door key reader was busted and we could still get in kind of sketched me out.Not bad for the price if you have AAA - got us a $10 discount to make the room $66.

Two stars for the price and clean beds... The doors didnt close properly, the water comes out hot unless you adjusted to almost off so very low pressure. The furniture is outdated. Unfriendly dogs in the check-in area lobby. Loud and obnoxious housekeepers. I was grateful that my car didnt get broken in. Not sure I have anything else much to say that would be positive.
Front desk late at night was efficient and noticed that I had accidentally booked a smoking room, and was able to change it to non-smoking. I appreciated that more than you will ever know.Room itself had a good heater/AC unit, and mini-fridge that wasnt too noisy. Everything was clean, including the bathroom. Decor was from the 80s/90s, and the bed might have been too. Average soundproofing (means I could hear kids in the hallway and next door). Since it was 40 degrees out and raining, the empty outdoor pool and hot tub werent an issue, but come summertime, Id hope the repairs are completed.
I researching many motels along my route down thru California & this motel had the best reviews. Guess what? They did NOT lie. NO bugs,, cold refrigerator, microwave, newish TV with a clear picture & the bed was very comfortable! I definitely recommend this location. (A little tricky getting into it, but well worth it.).
I have stayed here multiple times traveling from Az to Northern California.....There is always AVAILABILITY the PRICING IS COMPETITIVE and the Desk Attendees were NICE. I always get there at night so don’t use anything around the facility. It’s always a quiet stay and the rooms are nice. The only thing I had a issue with and I don’t know if it was just my room ??? But the water pressure in the shower wasn’t up to par... But just took a quick shower in the morning. They had little fridges and microwaves. Recently I got the single KING and it was the room by the front desk...It was really nice and spacious. The BEDS are also nice and the rooms and LEGIT and CLEAN.
The room was big enough for us to utilize our airbed which was great. On check in the computer wasnt working and the wait was longer than we wanted. Wish they had a hair dryer as they had an iron and would have assumed this amenity as well

Scarrrrrrrry! I thought for sure my car was going to be missing in the morning. Dont try to adjust the heater/cooler in the room. When I did it it started to stink up the room and I thought for sure it was going to start a fire. The knobs didnt point to the correct settings. I had to open the window (which have cheesy locking mechanisms that can be easily broken into). The bathroom was a shambles. Filthy, mildewed tub, falling down shower curtain, no lid on the toilet seat and grey towels. Worst Motel Ive ever stayed at and it wasnt cheap, i.e., $95.00 for the night. They also dont even have WiFi, much less free WiFi.
The good: Check in staff was friendly and inviting to me and my dog. The room was clean and orderly. Bathroom was clean, not making feel like I should brush my teeth at a gas station. I was surprised for a truck stop motel.The bad: The room smelled a little aged; not gross, or bad. Just, old. The quality of the towels and sheets, though clean, were sub-par. Bed wasnt very comfortable.Overall, it wasnt bad. Id stay here again if I needed a stop over on a 17 hour road trip.
Nice hotel, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Very quiet, even if situated next to the route. All the equipment in order - fridge, microwave, etc. The room was clean and smelled good. But the bath tab was not clean. There was just the soap, no shampooing or cream. We were charged 3 dollars in more compared to the price at which wed reserved. Didnt understand why.

From beginning to end my experience was very good. Friendly and informative staff at registration, a short walk after a tiring day to a clean room. The air conditioner was great as it had been a hot day and I like to sleep cool. It did the trick. A very quiet hotel.
Ok, this is not your typical Motel 6!!! It is really nice for the price. The lobby is spacious and you can see from my pictures that the rooms have beds, couches, fridges, nice bathrooms with a tub. Did you forget your iron or hairdryer? No worries, they got them here. The parking lot is huge and big rigs can and do park here. I say this is a must stop.
I ended up staying a Motel 6 in Lebec,Ca. For three weeks waiting for my new house to be done and I have to say that the staff was very pleasant always get me stuck on towels and toilet paper. My two little dogs just fell in love with the house keepers and I did too. To honest it was a very nice stay. It was like being on vacation. I will stay there again for sure. Sincerely Tom Jirkovsky
Price okay, depending on day . Location in pretty rural canyon community. Sort of Truckers stop for refuelling and resting. Plenty of parking. 3 stars do to laud noise, from 8:00 am do to remodeling or something. Friendly stuff. Cleanliness could be improved.
I cant wait to check out of here in the morning. It is 87 degrees outside and at least 85 degrees inside Room 327. These people know the AC units are from the 60s. They just dont care. They just want your money. I couldnt imagine sleeping here with the temperature any hotter.
Good clean room .good firm bed but pillows were like a rock. Also make sure you have your cellphone charger for wall plug. I had my USB charger cable. But no wall adapter. Thank goodness manger found a adapter for me in the office. .for that I will give a5 star rate. Thanks again to Mike the shift manger.

Ill be honest. Most times I stay at Motel 6, I get a lumpy mattress thats either too soft or too hard, stiff pillows that can be folded into the letter Z and stay and stay that way, bed covers almost as thin as the sheets, and towels that literally feel like sand paper on your skin. So when I arrived at the Lebec, CA location, situated right behind a truck stop/gas station in the middle of nowhere on I-5 just north of Los Angeles, I wasnt expecting much.What I did get was an incredibly comfy King-size bed, fluffy pillows (at least 3!), a microwave and fridge, and a roomy bathroom. This was a handicap room so I dont know if it was larger than a regular room. I loved the extra wide hallways at the hotel and do believe I saw a spa and pool outside but due to my visit being in November, they were closed. The receptionist was nice and I had no trouble finding extra parking for my pickup and 14 cargo trailer. The interstate hwy was within sight and earshot but inside my hotel room, I didnt hear any outside noise.If I had a complaint, it would be that the towels, although soft, were very thin. But, as I found the next night at the Motel 6 in Palmdale, that thin is definitely preferable to sandpaper...and people, I MEAN sandpaper! How in the world do you get cotton to feel like sandpaper???
Clean, simple room with nice flat screen TV, refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable roomy bed. Quiet with good parking (even with my horse trailer) and easy walking distance to a well stocked gas station store. Staff was very nice and helpful. I was late for my check in due to a riding accident that landed me in the ER, but they kept a light on for me. Wifi was slow and clunky. Easy access to and from the highway. Gas station nearby has the lowest prices in the area. Morning coffee was all I wanted or needed.
Many WAY more expensive hotels dont have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms but these were standard in this hotel. Dont forget to bring your shampoo and conditioner since this is not supplied - however Im sure the front desk could provide for you if youre in a crunch. Location is great being right next door to a truck stop. But it wasnt noisy at all. Room was quite quiet. Price was VERY reasonable. Rooms were a little dated but clean.
We are repeat customers, using this regularly as a stop on business trips, and we have ALWAYS had great lodging here.Nice, clean room, comfortable mattresses. Bonus points for a well-lit parking lot with plenty of room for larger vehicles - without having to play truck Tetris. The front desk staff was cheerful, friendly and helpful.We got, per our request, a handicap-accessible room - it was large with PLENTY of room for a wheelchair - but a wheelchair-height desk or table would have been handy.
Ive included this photo to illustrate how clean and tidy my room was. Of that there was no question. However we were not forewarned that the pool was virtually empty, completely devoid of water. In addition remodeling was going on, and we were not warned of that either. The worst, however was the dust and debris and trash, and full trash cans surrounding the motel, even at the entrances of each wing. It appeared as if they could not even hire someone to sweep.
We recently stayed for one night on a road trip. The location was not the greatest, but it was next to a travel center. We were quite disappointed when we tried to shower after a long drive only to find there was no hot water. It wouldnt even get lukewarm. My daughter took a cold shower. I decided to wait until morning, but it was no different. I couldnt even get warm water in the sink. I find that pretty absurd since the room was $75 for the night. We also had issues with the air conditioner. I wouldnt stay in this location again.
The motel was extremely clean. The location was perfect for a stop in between home and our destination. The staff was friendly. Large parking lot for trucks and trailers if needed. Gas, food and liquor store within walking distance. The only thing that was frustrating was the beds are fairly uncomfortable. We all tossed n turned half the night. Our toilet also got stuck because of the hard water pressure but the morning staff gave us advice on how to fix it. Overall it was a nice place to stay and I wouldnt mind stopping there again for lodging.

This hotel met our needs for a late night check in. We were traveling with dogs and needed a place that would accept them. Motel 6 is one of the best for that purpose. The room was clean and functional and my husband got us a great discount with his commercial license. Only negative was the layout of the hotel itself with dark entrances to the building. These should be addressed for safety reasons.
I drove from San Jose and was headed to Palm Springs so I was looking for a good place to stop. The hotel is located directly off of the 5 freeway and was easy to find. The staff was friendly over the phone when I booked my reservation and as well in person when I arrived. The room was clean, nothing fancy, and was a good price with my AAA discount of 10%. The air conditioning was on when I arrived so it was easy to get comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. Although there is truck parking nearby, I didnt find it to be a distraction.
Generally the motel met Motel 6 standards for cleanliness, etc., except the room I was given was very substandard in size -- barely room for my rolling bag and no furniture except the bed. Mattress was sagging and too soft.
Stayed 2 nights. This location was a pleasant surprise and better than other 6s I have stayed at. Great location if you want to make a day trip into LA. I ordered a non smoking room and I didnt smell smoke in the room or in the hallway. The last 6 I stayed out near SF smelt like an ash tray in and near the room. This location also had a fridge and microwave which I was not expecting. The other plus about this location is its close to the freeway but much quieter because the freeway is farther away. The gas prices near this location were also cheaper than others on HWY 5. Hard to beat the value for the price paid.
Everything worked okay the staff was helpful and friendly.one minor issue is that the doors spring closed with a very large amount of force, you have to really push on the door to the room to get it open.also the sensor for the TV remote had fallen off and was behind the TV so it could not see the signal from the remote.probably should test that when the room is cleaned to make sure thei remote receiver is working
I Know sometimes things happen and you just have to make the best of it. For instance the Hot water not working for all but a couple of hours was a bit unfortunate on a very cold and snowy day but I know its hard to get things fixed when the roads are shut down. TV controller not working when it would have been nice to see the news. 1 Bar of soap in the bathroom but without the hot water I couldnt get a shower anyways. No insulation seal on door meant that every conversation in the hallway was like a conversation in the room. Price was very affordable but pretty offset by all the negatives
Location was great, staff was very friendly, but the hotel itself seemed a little outdated. We were only there to spend the night, so for that, it was fine. But in the morning, we discovered that the shower only put out steaming hot water, so we were not able to take a shower, which was not good!! The hotel was booked, so there wasnt another room available to take a shower in. Im not sure we will be staying at this hotel again.
The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the guy at the front desk was so GREAT!Your location is unclean. The bedspreads smell awful; I immediately stripped it off the bed. I felt very uncomfortable about the rest of the bed the remainder of the night.Your swimming pool is nasty. I hope you plan on fixing and cleaning it before summer. I have a photo if youd like it.I cant stay there again until it has been made decent.
Asked for a late checkout. Just needed an extra 30 min. They did not offer it. Spend a little extra money and stay somewhere else. Most uncomfortable sleep I have had at a motel.
Friendly, helpful front desk.I would recommend this Motel 6 for people traveling with animals just looking for an affordable place to rest for the night. The room is shabby but comes with spotless fridge and microwave oven. Comfortable sleeping. Warms up quickly (nice for cold Tejon Pass). Clean.
We checked in late Saturday and given our room keys room 242 king bed non smoking first floor, we had a horrible sewer smell located out side of our room and noticed when we left for dinner near the back of building there was water in the parking lot that had a horrible sewer smell we also noticed the pool was drained and had dirty trash and the towels in our bathroom looked clean but had a dirty odor to them. We could hardly sleep due to the unclean feeling and sounds ok kids running around upstairs after midnight until 2am. We checked out as soon as we could just after 5am and was greeted my a woman who was sweeping the lobby are who asked if we where checking out ? When we said yes she just said I will take your keys your all set and thanked me for staying and put the room keys in pocket and continued sweeping. It was as horrible stay and pool looks nothing like online photos that show clean water and filled. And sewer water and smell issues is definitely a health issues.
Good hotel but its California, so it smells like pot all over the hallways. Ron was clean and the staff was good. Rooms are huge! I travel for work a lot and these rooms are huge compared to most. Smoking rooms as well, if youre into that.

Motel 6 Lebec was a welcome stop on my journey. The desk staff were welcoming and efficient; the room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable, and all the amenities adequate for my needs. It was just right for the price and I will definitely stay here again.
We have stayed at this facility a few times before and gave good recommendations.However, this visit was a bit different. The desk clerk was very friendly and polite. When we entered our room, our daughter thought that she heard something move behind the dresser.When we turned down the bed, we found pretzel crumbs and mouse droppings beneath the pillow.We called the front desk and were reassigned to another room within a few minutes.
Good for what it is a place to camp out while your traveling to sleep clean up and get off the road, comfy beds, clean and quiet enough. The staff is helpful and pretty nice accept for the manager lady that helped us that day when out reservation got mixed up l...ended up being double billed for it..bit we got that worked out still one bad manger does not a bad place make.
As expected for the price. Comfy bed with small pillows Lots of amenities close by. The three stars is from the lack of precautions taken by staff, no masks or even signs saying to wear masks. Could probably benefit from some sanitizer dispensers as well.
I want to rate this place a 4 but....Bed was great, room was mostly clean and comfortable and amenities all worked as expected. However, I was given an ADA room, which I didnt need, that was 1) devoid of lighting. Only the small recessed light above the door. 2) being an ADA room I would expect the blinds to work, but one of the two had a broken lever and was mostly impossible to shut out all of the generous outdoor lighting. No way someone who is in a chair or otherwise limited would be able to correct this to the level that I did. Wake up at 2am and youll think its 6am. Wrongo pal. 3) Bathroom had not one towel rod present. 4) Room door felt more like a previous closet as it had no door sweep and had a good 3/4 gap between the floor. 5) being on the main floor, it was quite noisy with door slams and someone yelling hello for 20 mins at 3am. Not the hotels fault on that, but something to know. 6) linen was clean but half of the towels/washcloths were super dingy. 7) Vinyl flooring was gritty and a little dirty. Take a shower and use the towel at the shower base. You will get some dirt for sure.This is one of the better motel 6s Ive stayed at from a visual point of view, but had a few negatives. memory foam beds and an extra large room are a plus for sure.All in all, price was very good for the accomodations with a few eateries nearby....nothing else though.Large truck stop nearby and several park in the lot, but that had minimal impact on my 2 day stay.Im not hating here, but with a few tweeks it could have been a 4. Being in Cali, surprised to see that they offer smoking rooms....not the norm. Would I stay here again? Yes. But I had the opportunity to do so and didnt this time.Bottom line, not bad....could be more with attention to details.
The overall experience was decent for my situation of just needing a room for sleep for the night. But just the condition and appearance of hotel was a bit to be desired. Even more so that the truck stop that used to be connected to the hotel has now been attractively remodeled. That really makes the hotel look really run down. There were some sketchy areas of the hotel that I did not feel safe at even in the day time. Rusty stairwells. Empty pool with stagnant rain water collecting it. Signs falling down off the walls. Now with that being said I do have to say the service from the hotel staff was amazing and i have no complaints whats so ever for that. I hope that the truck stop being remodeled that maybe that will inspire the hotel to do the same. Suggestions of fresh new paint job. Renovated rooms with new beds and bedding. Sproosing up the landscaping and to either fill in three pool and Jacuzzi with cement and make that area a patio area or a grass area. And to close off the random courtyard areas that are around the hotel perimeters. And to establish a better maintenance program and employees for that department. This hotel has great potential especially that the surrounding area and businesses are on the up and up. I will still continue to stay at this hotel when I make future trips to the surrounding mountains for hiking. Again the staff was amazing and my overall experience was great.
Check out their website for my full review. In short, we stay here when we are in the area for our annual Spartan Race in Lebec. This motel serves our purpose just fine for what we need it for. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I just wish the property was better kept and the property had an elevator. Theres a good amount of places to eat, get gas and misc items nearby. Good location right off the freeway.

First of All, a shout out to Mike for helping us out after we experienced a disaster with the rental of a home. Secondly, he was able to accommodate us with all of our needs, Multiple rooms together, non smoking, double beds, as we were traveling with children. We had planned to be in a home with a full kitchen, so most of our food had to be cooked. Luckily, the rooms we stayed in had a mini refrigerator and a microwave, which avoided our food from spoiling. Lastly, thank you to the team that assisted us from extra towels to accommodating all of our needs.
We were extremely surprised with how nice the facility was, the size of our room, the overall cleanliness. We thought that at such a reasonable rates, the room would be subpar. We have stayed at many motels, most cost way more & the quality was not as good. We will definitely be staying here more.
Booking was easy online. The desk staff quickly got us checked in and was nice. The room seemed fine. I checked the beds before we got in and they seemed fine. However, it was very late and I was exhausted. Within 24 hours, my arm began to itch and several raised bumps developed. I researched bed bugs and found that my arm was identical to the pictures and descriptions I was finding. Luckily, everyone else with me slept in sleeping bags or blankets on top of the beds and were not bit. Im still very itchy, red, inflamed and swollen.
As a truck driver, the convenience of having the motel next to the truck stop is a plus. Check in was smooth and friendly. Staff was great. As with most 6s, they need updating, but im not as picky about motels. The one upgrade needed is the king bed. It was hard a the pillows were small and flat. Also, the shower head was 5ft 4 inches high, im 6ft 2, uncomfortably short. Everything else was fine.
Love this place - it used to be a Red Roof but have liked it much more since Motel6 took it over. Clean, large room with Microwave and fridge. Quiet and yet close to I-5 freeway. Fast and helpful checkin/checkout. And has a hairdryer too!!. Great Mexican food nearby and Caveman Pizza delivers the best pizza. Lots of parking with lights so felt very safe.
Top hotel, ok from the price. Comes along quite old-fashioned, no bathroom door in our room, might be because we had a barrier free room. We ordered a two bed room, but got one bed. Not a problem, but still not what we booked. It was okay, half way to Sequoia from LA, would definitely come here again.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Actually had a refrigerator and microwave in a 2QN, two queen non-smoking. The Pilot Travel Center next door is completely closed, at least it was when I stayed. Restaurants across the street. Gas, etc.
Im a dirt biker and enjoy riding at Hungry Valley. This motel 6 is a convenient stay close by. The rooms are clean. Checked for bed bugs and there where none, even black lighted my room and found nothing of concern. Staff is very friendly and the rates are very reasonable.
Check in was semi ok. Front desk girl had her boyfriend/husband standing right in front of where I needed to be to check in and you would think common courtesy would enter either of their minds and have him move aside.... Nope...Lobby smelled like marijuana from the boyfriends vape which leads me to believe she was doing it right along with him, hence the lack of thought process to properly greet guests.Room was fine. No complaints on the facility cleanliness or condition with exception to the hallway and our room also smelling like marijuana do to it being close to the front desk.

Hello,We stayed with you folks in Lebec on the night of April 21st so we could run a half marathon at Tejon Ranch. The young man that checked us in and had black hair was excellent. he got us checked in answered our questions and even pointed me to the stairs that where multiple levels so I could run them. The room was great!!, It was quiet and clean and smelled that way. They even gave us a little later check out so we could clean up after the run. It was a perfect stay!. We have stayed with you folks multiple times in the past and even before the property became a Motel 6. We really appreciate everything you did for us. :)
After a couple of bad experiences with Motel 6 years ago, I vowed I would never stay in another one! Long traveling day and too tired to dissuade my husband we chose to stay in one tonight. It did not disappoint! Cheap thin bedding and bed as hard as a rock. Not to mention total lack of decor. So, you get what you pay for “just sayin”! The only reason I gave it a 2 star was because the desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. And the room was actually clean which was my issue in the past!
I dont normally stay at motel 6, however after experiencing some car trouble it was the closest place to stay. Clean and very quiet. The room was comfortable and everything worked plus the staff was friendly and professional. Overall a great 2 night stay.
This was the worst Motel 6 experience I have had ever experienced, given the nightly rate you charge at this location.The room was unusually small. (Even front desk hesitated to give it me.)The TV did not work. (No cable signal)The WIFI did not reach/function in my room.
The beds were fine, the room clean. The water was hot, but the showers a bit low, even for shortish members of the group. The lights flickered weirdly. However, if youre on your way up or down the state or to Six Flags and need a place to sleep, its convenient.

Average super cheap place to stay. Beds were squeaky and seriously like old time mattresses, the foot of the looked higher than the rest of the bed, it looked like a bench with a blanket on it and its really shaky and not comfortable (its literally like sleeping on a bunk bed mattress, a cheap mattress from a cheap storewhere like those you see on the corner of lower areas of a town) It seems fairly clean and I looked in the mattress folds for any critters and found nothing. However, they can clean better, where the wall meets the floor they needing to have a crevice tool taken to them and the bathroom around the base of the tub needs scrubbing where the floor and base meet. Its not filthy but you can see dirt stuck in the folds and the top of the door jams were dirty in the bathroom. The toilet and tub were clean and white (no stains or yellowing). They need to give their housekeeping staff more time to clean the general stuff and a deeper clean on areas that require attention. The t.v. was super old, as is the refrigerstor they provide seriousky old (its got that oaneling brown fake wood stuff, so not sure it even works) as was the curtains, bedspread and carpet.. the front desk staff was blah and just ho hum. Not very friendly. We decided to try it because we were only staying for a night and others on here said it was good and gave it good star ratings, well next time if I need Ill try the holiday inn express for 60$ more, with breakfast for us all. I bet the rooms are better and not stuck in the 80s, and way cleaner.
Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Property is well taken care of. Great value and location for people coming to the Frazier Park area to hike the local peaks!!!! Will come back again when I make the next plans to hit up the Los Padres National Forest nearby.
This is a 3-story, newer motel right off Hwy. 5. Its bright and open inside.The room was fine. There are a few maintenance issues that need attention: slow drain in the sink, very loud fan in the bathroom, lights that take so long to turn on that you think they are broken.
This place is a dive. No elevator, smell of smoke in the corridors with alcoholic lugging twelve packs to their rooms and drinking openly in the parking lot and a parade of low lifes coming in from the back stairway made me wonder if this was a No Tell Motel for the degenerate. All this to say nothing of the lack of cleanliness.
Oversized double queen room was clean and comfortable. Hallways were also very wide, this motel does not spare the square footage. Ice maker next to room didnt have ice the 3 times I tried through the night and morning. Sink did not drain from brushing teeth the first night. Very inexpensive gas next door. Mostly transients and truck drivers for neighbors.
Best Motel 6 Ive ever stayed at. Clean, well maintained, big rooms, indoor access to rooms. Nice people! I would have given it a 5 if there had been coffee.
We were given an ADA accessable room, supposedly because we had a doggie with us (???). The room was quiet and fairly clean, but the AC labored and never really cooled the room. There was no table on which to eat or work, and there were no counter or shelves in the bathroom on which to place toiletries...very awkward. We always had our dog on a leash when outside the room, but other guests were not as obedient with the leash rules. An unleased dog attacked our dog in the hallway....very frightening. Other than all that, our stay was comfortable.
Stayed here with the family (4 of us) last week on our trip home from San Diego.Despite the lack of signage on the street, we found our way in with no problem. Parking lot could stand to be resurfaced.Friendly staff. Good sized, clean room with 2 queen beds, fridge and microwave. Very up-to-date decor.Considering we had just spent 5 days in a room that cost nearly 3 times as much with double-beds, no fridge or microwave, Id say this was a great room for the price and need.The pool has clearly been drained for several years, but since the listing says no pool and we only stopped for 1 night, this wasnt an issue.My only complaint was the lack of wi-fi - free or otherwise - despite the free wi-fi notation.Would definitely stay here again.
Weve stayed only one night on our way to north California. Safe, clean, no breakfast, only a coffee in the lobby with no milk.Clean towels. Nice shower. Good water pressure to wash my hair.
We have stayed here a few times before and have loved it....This time the pillows and bed was very uncomfortable, the room was either burning hot or freezing cold. And there was a high pitches whistle from the window All. Night. Long.The phone also did not work and the tv was very fuzzy.This used to be my go-to hotel because I travel a lot, but now I am very skeptical.
Although when we checked into our room we found the previous guests underwear on the floor we brought it to the attention of the staff and they were awesome at resolving the issue. The staff was very friendly and professional. Overall the room was clean and well stocked.
We ran out of steam on our way to San Diego and decided to stop here for the night. We stay at Motel 6s fairly often so we know what to expect for the most part. We were pleasantly surprised that this one exceeded our expectations. We were checked in quickly by the friendly desk clerk. Room was right down the hall. Interior corridors, thats a plus! Even though we were just staying the night we had a lot of stuff to bring in. (our vehicle doesnt lock properly and we didnt want to chance it). Very helpfully they had luggage carts available to bring everything in in one go.Our room was very nice with a king bed, small sofa, coffee table and a desk and chair. The bed had a pillowtop mattress. We had a very pleasant nights sleep here.Lebec does not offer much in the way of fine dining, but we were able to wander over to the Quiznos inside the AM/PM across the road for a pretty tasty sandwich. The pool looks like its been out of commission for years so dont count on taking a refreshing swim here.Would definitely stay here again.
This was probably the nicest motel 6 Ive stayed at. Room was very clean, heater worked great and bed was comfortable. Parked my truck next door at the truck stop for the night. Only bad thing, and this isnt even that bad, that after I checked out at around 430 am I realised I left my charger and hat inside the room so after about 10 minutes I returned but noone was at the desk. I called the number so a worker can hear it and come out, and waited about 15 minutes in the lobby for someone but had to leave for work. Besides that, the stay was perfect
Been going here for 20 yrs, rooms could be a little cleaner, the bathtub needed a good scrubbing but I layed a hand towel down and stepped on it....the hallway outside needs to be pressure washed, looks like maybe dogs or people pee there...a few fixes and it would be a better place!
I like many Motel 6 because of outside entrances and ability to park and unload/load at room entrance. I realize many think that less safe so prefer inside corridors and one entrance. In this age of bed bugs I also prefer hard surface flooring that can be mopped and like Motel 6s for that reason as well. Surprised to find carpeting I consider less clean—to each his own. Anyway, I may checkout other nearby Motel 6s in Gorman or Bakersfield. On the other hand, your newer rooms very quiet and nice.
This place is a nightmare. We found a needle under our bed a good six hours after our two year old daughter was playing all over the room. And the door to outside was taped so it couldnt lock. Gross, terrifying place. Would have asked for a refund but we were in a rush to leave.
Conveniently located for trip from N.Calif. to San Diego plus pet friendly. With truck stop next door, can be a little noisy.
All in all I slept well, and if thats all youre looking for, then this place works. However, couple things to note. If you check in after 3am, they give you a frew audit for the whole next day. We checked in at 2:55am and they mentioned it but we were too tired to understand what they were saying, but I feel lile they couldve given it to us easy. Late checkout is $11 per hour. Never heard of that rule before. Kinda makes sense but also cmon Shower in our room was pretty low volume, and the shower head was all sorts of messed up. Shower is also on the short side, so tall people beware. TV is a old box TV with what seems like straight up cable. Beds are all right. Nothing special. Whole place felt like sleeping in a room from the 90s.
I dont enjoy being negative, but I was very disappointed with my stay. The only positive things were the friendliness of the staff, the showers water pressure and the rooms (although old interior, furniture, etc.) cleanliness. There were two main things that ruined my stay. The first and most important was the comfort of the beds. They were so bad, we were here for three nights and not one of them was a well rested night. The mattresses were so hard and thin. You could feel the springs and it was like they were laying on concrete slabs rather than box springs. Both my wife and I were groggy everyday from bad sleep. The second thing that really disappointed me was the WiFi. It is advertised that you have free WiFi throughout the building. Upon getting your room key, youre even given a WiFi password to connect to the network, but when you try to actually use it... Not only is it truly difficult to connect to it in the first place, but once connected the speeds are compared to that of dial-up, useless. Upon asking one of the staff members what type of speeds I should expect here via the WiFi I was told, Umm... Around 0 And then another staff explained that they have been trying to get it fixed, but nothing can be done because they are too far from the hub and its been that way forever and there is no expected plan to fix. Fine, but you advertised free WiFi, and it doesnt work. I get it, I work in the industry and sometimes things dont work, but dont advertise something you dont have. As well, if youre paying for a service like that, make them fix it or move on to another provider. So there you have it. Oh, and one other positive thing. I enjoyed the coffee in the lobby every morning, I would have liked some better creamer options, but it was nice to not have to go somewhere for my first cup and the wife liked that there was hot water too so she could have her tea.
A good hotel, it had a king size bed, renovated room, tile shower, good size TV. It was also clean. Highly recommend this hotel, no thrills just a good night rest.

Except:-A/C cycled a lot (low charge or internal air-flow blockage) and the room was not comfortable until the second night.-Refrigerator: while very glad to have it, needs to be deiced badly.-Westermost bed mattress sagged significantly in the middle, had to sleep near edges.Everything else was great. Front desk staff wonderful; unfortunately food was left in refrigerator making whole room smell like molded Panda Express, air conditioning took all night to cool down, and hair on wash cloth folded on sink.
The staff are friendly but the amenities could have been better. Maybe if they lowered the price by $20/day it would make up for the funny smell in the room, the not very hot water, the dry pool / spa area, no laundry facilities and lack of reliable Wifi (thankfully you can buy wifi-time from the Flying J next door).
Parking friendly to trucks and RVs. Good water flow. Real heat lamp. Good AC in hallway and room. Plenty of towels. Nonsmoking room smelled slightly of cigarettes. No liquid toiletries. Wifi didnt work. Shower head barely over shoulder height. Sink sprayed everywhere and drained very slowly. Pool drained, surrounding walkway muddy and overgrown. Laundry on the map was actually three doors marked employees only. Laundry on the amenities list was a referral to the adjacent truck stop. Low ceiling in the yellow hallway. Narrow rusted stairway. Signage barely lit: well leave the light on for you but we wont change the bulb.
Everything was excellent! Room was clean and quiet, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It was great to have a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. One of the nicest Motel 6s I have stayed in!

The best Motel 6 there is. Don’t be foolish, it’s not the Ritz. Have appropriate expectations. However, the staff is always kind, the rooms are sufficient, and there’s gas and food nearby. I choose to stay here often even though it’s further from my delivery route than other motels.
Me, my wife and son had a night at Motel 6 on our way from San Francisco to San Diego. Its very convenient to take a little turn and take a rest there.The room was clear, as well as beds and bathroom.Especially, I like the guy at reception, Terry I suppose. He was very friendly and helpful in all our needs.
I always recommend this motel to friends who are travelling to Southern California. It is a great place with Motel 6 prices,but huge rooms . Love having the fridge and microwave.Also like that it is more Hotel than Motel, because all the room entrances are inside the building . I miss having the Dannys connected to the motel. Too bad they no longer have the pool in operation.
Mike at front desk was friendly. Room was big enough. Room wasnt as clean as I wanted it. The bath was nasty and yellow. Pools were empty ( kids disappointed they couldnt swim and couldnt take a bath). My Son adds, you should clean your bath.
Simple, outdated but clean, basic. Would not pay more than $50 for this though I paid $75 Motel was outdated and smelled very musty even with windows open. Pool and hot tub out of comission. TV was from the 90s but worked fine. Flying J next door was closed. Chinese restaurant nearby for dinner was clean. Gas nearby and Jack In The Box was only option for quick hot breakfast which worked. Otherwise it was clean and did the trick for sleeping only.

First off its Motel 6. So the price is always cheap. Holiday Inn next door was $190. This place was $68. Rooms were nice and quite. Old TVs but who cares. Only down side is the pool and Jacuzzi is empty and it doesnt look like they have plans to repair it
The best motel 6 Ive ever been in Mike was very helpful and the room was great memory foam mattress was very comfortable room was clean and the bathroom was very nice Im 6 5 and could get very comfortable in the bathtub very large. I will definitely stay here again thank you very much.
Room was large and spacious and clean. Feels like a new residence. Close to petrol and food options. Only issue we had was the poor internet. We were never able to connect which can be a massive issue for those planning the course of a roadtrip as we were. This along with cost was the major reason we stayed here - still remains one of the chepest options in the area. Would stay again but hope the Motel improves connectivity.
The people and the facilities and very good. The people working there are always friendly and profession, plus they treat me like I am one of the family. The rooms are always clean and very spacious. I am a commercial driver and I usually am staying there at least once a week.thank you

I always like to stay at the Lebec CA Motel 6 when on a road trip back from LA. Very convenient location off I5, plenty of parking space if you are in a pickup or larger truck. The 4000 ft elevation is great, crisp cool air. Bright sun in the morning. Got in at midnight and checked in fast. Room was clean, warm ready to go. Only issue: ran out of coffee in the air pots. That was around 9:30 am. No big deal, just went to travel center next door.
Only half of the desk staff knew how to enter the building my room was in. The lock at the entrance to which I was originally directed was not unlocking reliably.The fix was to keep other doors unlocked with tape covering the latches, so the building was not secure.The mini-fridge was unplugged and open, with a towel in it: was it out of commission? Dont know.Having non-smoking and smoking rooms alternating may make sense in some manner, but not to non-smokers.
A lot of construction going on remodeling the rooms but this Motel is a great value.
No hot water for showers, to start. Keys not opening outside doors to get into floor doors. Bathroom dink leaked from faucet. Reception on tv not goid. We wanted smoking, but where room was we could not look out window and check on vehicle do we had to settle for non smoking room on opposite side of motel where our vehicle was parked.
Always a pleasant stay when we go to work at National Cement, great rates, bice remodeled rooms and best of all a wonderful staff. Id also like to point out that i scheduled a Lyft ride to Lax but they didnt show up. There happened to be a gentleman named Mike who is an uber dyriver overheard my situation and out of the kindness of his heart got me ms to Lax, I made my flight on time my bags made if so needless say my stay at motel 6 in Lebec, Ca. was great and it ended with proof that there are still good people out there.
Bed was very comfortable. Front desk person, very polite. Room was a bit bare. No dresser, no pictures, no coffee pot or blow dryer.
Came to motel 6 to recover from a surgery, I cannot say enough about the staff super helpful and kind, the room was very clean this is the second time weve stayed here and we have no complaints Karry the manager is amazing as are all the other front desk workers.
Great last minute stop! I needed a room for the night and that’s what I got! Gentlemen at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely stop again if in the area in need of a room.
Nice staff, nice clean room, comfortable bed and good shower. Pool was empty, drained, full of dirt, leaves, branches. Landscaping could use some love, as well as the asphalt with big holes.
Very friendly staff. Seemingly clean facilities. Outdoor pool no longer in operation (they should turn the gated outdoor pool area into a dog play area as there is no good place for dogs to do their business). Cigarette burn holes in bedding. Showerhead for short people. Nice enough hotel for a place to sleep and eat.Bonus is the connected Ranch House Restaurant (country/ranch decor) with very good food and service (ate there twice-dinner and breakfast). There is also a Mexican restaurant and Carl Jr.s.Adjacent to the hotel is a liquor store, antiques consignment store, and 2 gas stations.Semi tractor-trailer parking is across the road under the street lights.
Pros: the room was spacious and clean. Close to food. Staff seems nice. Cons: the wifi didnt work. I had to use mobile data. The bathtub was a little darkly stained.
At the end of the online booking is a comment section. I asked for a remodeled room and they gave me a really nice room; new bed, new bedspread, new flooring, new paint, new bath/shower marble, new countertop, new window blinds, etc.
All we needed were a bed, a bathroom, wi-fi, and air conditioning. This was all there, at a good price and location. My one complaint is that the shower head was at a weird height, and made it tough for me to properly take a shower. But this was only a minor inconvenience.
Both pool and hot tub were empty. Wi-Fi is horrible and barely works. Having to use my data plan to write this review while here. Staff super nice. Rooms clean. Tv guide on tv is wrong on so many channels. No HBO.
I had a few choices for this stay and chose this property because it featured a pool w/ hot tub on their website. However, when I got there, I found out that this did not exist... it had fallen into disrepair and was shut down. Had I known that, I wouldve gone somewhere else. It would be nice if they just remove the photo from their description.
When we called, we were told that the smoking and non-smoking sections are seperate. When we got there, the smoking section and non-smoking sections are literally separated by about six feet. I would appreciate more honesty and understanding about the need for non-smoking to be completely separate. The effects of cigarette smoke are empirically verified (and ought to be common sense by now) to be related to a plethora of health risks and ought not be taken lightly. Because of this issue we will never feel comfortable using motel 6 again.
Even thought the staff was great I think Tom forgot this one! Has not been remodeled pool and spa was empty even though you show a nice setting to relax after a long drive?Think the next trip Ill the next Motel 6 down the road!
This was a favorite hotel under a previous owner. Happily, Motel 6 has kept all the best features (pool, lawns, carpeted (new!) rooms. Plus rooms have mini fridges - not often the case with Motel 6.
By far the most disgusting place I’ve stayed, I think I did the “ staying in a low rated motel challenge!” Because it smelled horrible, not vacuumed, the comforter had pee stains and cigarette burns on it, when I turned on the ac I was bursted with dust and burning smell, I literally stayed because I was extremely tired from driving and without sleep for many hours. I placed my clothes on top of their comforter and removed their pillows and slept, that’s how disgusted I was. The only positive thing about this place is when I left. SERIOUSLY check it out for yourself.
The hotel is great, quiet large clean roomsbut the check in was a disasterthe clerk (Susan) was absolutely not up to the task of checking in mutliple parties in a timely manner. She was rearranging thing on her desk, it took her forever to manage the items onher tablet, she tried to engange people in small talk while several parties were waiting. This was shortly after midnight so everyone just wante to check in and sleep. Susan is not the right fit for good check in experience.
This place is ok. You cant entirely expect much from a motel 6 in retrospect. However, it is clean for the most part which makes a big difference and is also why I give it the 3 stars. There is always the little shampoos and conditioners.
A pool and spa that hasnt worked in years with trees and black water in them was just the start. Our bathtub was literally black, like it hadnt been scrubbed in 5 years. Sink clogged. Employees using foul language in front of guests while talking bad about other employees. When I mentioned the shower and sink to the manager in the morning, she acted shocked like I was making it up. I have pictures to back up my claims. What a disappointment even for a Motel 6!
The room was big, it was clean, in the bathroom everything worked properly. The beds were big and comfortable .
This place was a lifesaver! I had booked a room for the weekend with Booking.com at the Holiday Inn Express. I called and told them Id be there after midnight. When I got there at 3 am they canceled my room!
My stay at Motel 6 was brief but I was treated very well. It started with check in; I was given great customer service. It ended with check out; I was given great customer service. The price and people was good and so I will definitely stay at Motel 6 again. Thank you.
I have used this particular place a few lot of times. It is always a pleasure to se Susan at the counter always with a great attitude, friendly and very thoughtful when it comes to long wait do to a busy weekend...She is the reason I like staying here.Rooms are always clean and tabaco smell free.. very important detail
My husband pre-paid for this stay for he was not going to be with me on this trip. The Motel would not honor that online agreement. Made me pay again with my credit card. Reservations were in my name, pre paid, should have been no problem. Having to double pay for this room is not good customer service.

Even had the overnight worker start coffee early than normal because he knew I needed to leave early. Will be booking a room here for my return leg of this trip. Highly recommend. And you CANNOT beat the price

Hallway carpet filthy, rooms fairly clean but need routine inspections and maintenance. For example- no clock or light at bedside. No shampoo offered or available. Sad and creepy. Avoid if you can afford to.

Also lacked simple maintenance such as missing a lightbulb in one of the lamps, sketchy (sparking) electrical outlets (one not working), shower temperature would NOT maintain one temp it jumped from so hot to so cold every other 3 seconds and there was no mini fridge, it was clean though. I called n asked if there was another room available with a functional shower i could use in the morning before checking out. Front desk was nice enough to give me keys to a different room for where I could use the shower but it was a used dirty room which was unsettling but hey what can u expect. Very nice helpful staff though and was a good experience despite the inadequate rooms.

2023-11-09 13:43:29Wow possibly the worst motel Ive ever stayed in. Room was dirty, there was dog food piled up in the pull out bed and the room seemed to have a permanent grime to it. Super loud all night long too with big rigs coming and going all night. They charge for ice, thats a first for me. Overall experience, wasnt worth the 80 bucks a night. I should have stayed in Valencia.

2023-10-28 00:36:36Thought i was getting a single bed... nope i got 2 beds. This is kool. The place is clean, quiet and at least meets my standards for one night. Kenny is so welcoming that he gave me the run down of what there is around to eat and who deliversWhether they take card or cash. Im from LA but work in Tejon. Sometimes its good just to stay up here, especially when i have to work saturdays and come in at 6am. Im definitely going to be stay here more often.
