Excellent food, and top notch service. The Ramen tastes fresh and the broths are better than my mom’s (although I can’t tell her that). Staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend it!

They opened at 4:30 pm and it was happy hour. My daughter and her fiancé took me here because they love this place. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and a yellowtail roll. My kids ordered Black Garlic Tonkotsu. They seemed like pretty large portions. I sampled and it was delicious. I’ve read reviews here that it was expensive. My opinion is that it is priced as it should be. It’s not cheap, and it’s not too expensive either. Well worth the price. The Staff there was nice and polite. I have no complaints and I highly recommend Moto Ramen. I will definitely eat here again when I get the chance.

We went here today and we were so impressed with the service. My son has a lot of food allergies. The servers went to kitchen several times to recheck foods for us and offer to switch the broth mix with whatever my son doesn’t allergy. Love others menu too. Very rich and tasty.

Stopped here a few weeks ago when my friend wanted to check it out...was feeling the ramen craving! We walked up without a reservation and got onto the list but they were able to get us a table within about 5 minutes! We got the Tedorigawa sake that was recommended by our server to drink, which the bottle was a little smaller than I expected but it tasted dangerously sweet and good...went down smoothly. We started out with ordering the Lotus Kinpira and the Chicken Karaage to share (both pictured). The Lotus Kinpira was so delicious I almost forgot to take a photo (comes with more than pictured) and I would highly recommend as a starter. I had never had the Chicken Karaage before and I gotta say, it was flavorful while crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Then for our meals, we got the Tan Tan Men and the Shio Chicken Ramen (with added spice). First I got to say, these are oversized bowls, so come to expect large portions of ramen! Both were very delicious with the perfect amount of flavor, though I had the Shio Chicken and it was everything I was looking for in a ramen and the white meat chicken breast was cooked to perfection! On top of the amazing meal, our server was amazing, on her game, had a very socialable attitude and full of great recommendations. I definitely plan to go back for those ramen craving nights and highly recommend!

This is one of those places where everything is great except for the ramen. The broth was mediocre, noodles were alright. Portions were massive, but nothing stuck out.The service was a little overbearing at times; I definitely didnt expect to get checked up on 4 times during a ramen meal.I would recommend any of the sushi and the chicken karaage. Come for the appetizers and drinks. Definitely take advantage of their happy hour deals.

Very nice Ramen place to hangout with friends or family. The soup base also good since it’s less salty. There are some meter parking in the front, you can also find free parking behind the restaurant or on the street.Service is good but it can get really busy in the evening with waitlist and may pickup orders, so expect some delay on foods, better start with the appetizer. Generously portion and food quality is consistently for both times I dined in.

Very happy I found this place. Really great to-go setup. I ordered the Tan Tan Men (added Chashu and mushrooms) and gyoza. My friend got the Spicy Tonkotsu (added spinach and mushrooms) and the Chicken Bun. We had phoned in the order and when we got there we saw that they have some great beer and sake options so we added to our order. Very friendly staff! Everything was delicious and it traveled super well. The broth of the tan tan men had just the right kick! They also give you garlic to crush into your ramen which was a nice addition (even though I didn’t have a garlic press but you make it work in Covid times).

The Ramen was delicious. Ordered the Tan Tan and the Black Garlic Ramen. There are only a handful of tables currently set up on the back patio so if you dont get on the wait list itll be a while. Downside was that there were no heaters and the food too SO long to come out. 30 minutes from the time we ordered... Ive had places serve Ramen in less than 10 minutes when its packed... other than that Id recommend it.

I had the black garlic ramen and it was good- broth was good, noods had good texture, broth to noodle ratio was good, and the pork was good. I also tasted the spicy tuna don and yakiniku bento box. Every aspect was good. I honestly especially liked the pickled cucumber.

The black sesame ramen was OK, their portion is large compared to other places. The egg is closer to well done, even though it looks to be soft boiled. The meat wasnt as tender and on a leaner side. The broth was good, but noodles were little too cooked for my liking.The spicy salmon rice bowl was mediocre, they do give you nice amount of fish, but I cant recall anything special.The staff is very nice and in a pinch this place will meet your noodle needs.

We loved this ramen place.We order a few bowls of the black garlic tonkatsu ramen, one of them being spicy, kaarage and gyoza.- the ramen and broth had great flavor and the spicy (extra spicy) was a good heat but nothing too crazy- the karaage was delicious.. juicy marinated dark meat with great crisp.- the main thing that put this place over the top is that they give you marinated garlic cloves to press into your ramen. Marinating them makes them a little less... Garlicky but they add great flavor to your ramen.. or the karaage as i used them for as well.Well definitely visit this place again next time were un LA. Only 15 min from the airport so it was a great ore-flight meal.

This place has become my companies go to ramen place for lunch. I have never eaten there once but have always take out. Theyre polite, fast service food was fresh and tasty. My favorite is the Miso ramen soup and a side of California Roll. Would definitely recommend....

I have cancer (I am 13) and I am usually in chemo at the hospital or at home healing so I don’t get much time to go out to eat and stuff but I would order Moto ramen on doordash and it was very healing and made me feel a little better on chemo, I got a surgery where my tumor was on my knee and I had a cast where I had to keep my leg straight so obviously it’s hard for me it sit,go to restaurants etc. We where waiting for a table the three of us my mom and dad and me and these people where taking a bit to pay and get up and one of the servers went over to them and said very nicely “hey there’s this girl who needs this table when are you gonna be done?”I have never had a better experience in a restaurant they where SO kind and accommodating and they food was delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in my same situation or not! :)(Btw I got the shio ramen and the gyoza it was SO GOOD also recommend adding extra egg and fish cake 😊)

Great spot after leaving another that lacked we ordered take out over the phone! Wonderful service. Didnt mind questions. Clearly they were busy but made that effort. I paid at pick up. Food was ready on time AND the server brought it out to the car with his trusty paypoint device. Effortless! What an amazing experience. Came back with the extras chopsticks and spices. Oh and the Ramen was great and so was the pricepoints. I highly recommend. Dining in looked good too.

As a member of a party of 7, I feel confident speaking for all of us when I say it was great and Id easily go back again. The food was delicious (large portions, pretty sure all of us only managed to eat half of our food) and the service was superb. Our waitress was adorable, helpful and funny. Attentive staff made sure our water glasses never ran dry. We sat comfortably on the patio, but I think they also had indoor seating (not positive) and Im dutte they offered carry-out.

This place is phenomenal! I highly recommend! We ordered a couple of sushi rolls to start (California roll & yellowtail jalapeño) and they were delicious, you get 4 really big rolls which was perfect. We ordered the hot Tan Tan Men for ramen and it was top notch. I love my ramen and this place made the top of my list. Not to mention the service was amazing. The nicest servers and they were so on it. I cant wait to come back!

Excellent service. I presumably ordered takeout to dine outside in the back, and when I sat down, the server noticed my blunder and exchanged it for a fresh bowl. The tonkotsu is very balanced, leaning on the richer side. It wasnt too salty at all. I wish the eggs werent as done, but thats just my personal preference. Id recommend others to check this place out.

Been here twice now since we moved to LA. The food has been consistently very GOOD:) The wait staff is always really nice and helpful. The chef/owner comes out both times to check on us. The Saki drinks are unique and goes well with any dish.:) spicy miso ramen is so far my favorite. But the hidden gem is there is the fried chicken!

We love this ramen place so much!It’s owned by the original owners of Irori Sushi in Marina Del Rey (another favorite of ours), and these folks know what they are doing.The prices are fair. The food is delicious. The service is fine enough (nothing above and beyond basic order taking). And thats why we keep coming back for more.We love the Tan Tan Men Ramen; it’s exceptional. The Agadeshi Tofu is also wonderful. We frequently order the sushis as well!

The food was alright, service was bad. No ever answers the phone. I placed my order online and ordered it before my lunch time. My food was supposed to be ready by 1:17 pm but wasn’t ready at that time. I waited for my food until 1:32 pm, then when I got to work my coworkers food was missing. They gave me the one soup, the side vegetables and the side noodles but was missing another soup. I called them no one ever answered the phone. I get that they’re busy but they should have people checking orders and someone who answers their phone. Totally but customer service.

As an avid ramen eater, hands down this is one of the best if not thee best ramen joint to come and get a full belly. I happened to come during their happy hour with my partner and ordered a classic tonkotsu ramen with a side of chili paste as well as their gyoza and boy was it fresh. This place is great but if you order online for pickup through a food service like postmates etc the food service companies charge 3.50 more for sushi rolls and a few more dollars for the rice bowls and some other menu items even for pickup so buyers beware. Moral of the story call and order to pickup.

Broth is light on flavor, noodles are too chewy, meet tastes mediocre, the egg is obviously made far in advance with dark-colored / hardened yolk.In summary, Moto is good if youre in Culver City, but there are better options if youre willing to drive.

Moto Ramen is OK. But the noodles were undercooked - too al dente - and there was not enough chicken. And the price was a tad high. Mainly, though - l was offended by something the manager said, after l gave him $30 cash for a $28+change bill: The rest as tip?. Now, never has any restaurant employee suggested a thing like that. Were l given the change, Id probably have given it back to him. But to have it suggested to me? No. That in and of itself promoted me to not return to this restaurant.

Theyve got indoor and outdoor dining, to-go is done in the front entrance with in person dining entrance in the back patio. When you walk up you check-in with a QR code with name, number and party size.I got the spicy tankatsu and the standard order comes with 4 sizable pieces of chashu, half a medium cooked egg, a small bunch of blanched bean sprouts, green onion, pickled ginger, and a large piece of nori.Broth was light-medium and not the deep, rich broth that feels like a warm hug I expect with tonkatsu. The noodles were firm but clumpy in multiple bunches (see photo). Egg was cooked medium plus rather than soft. Minimal bean sprouts were provided and the ginger wasnt needed as the broth wasnt fatty at all to really need acidity. Chashu was the best part of the bowl as it was properly seasoned and on the leaner side.The portion was pretty generous and semi-pickled, whole garlic was given to further season the broth (def needed).Overall, a decent bowl of ramen but nothing really special. There are other ramen spots not too far away that put a little bit more time and care into the different aspects which make the meal THAT much more satisfying.
