My favorite place for early breakfast. Ham and egg hot and fresh baguette sandwich to go thats satisfying especially on a cold morning. Its crunchy, tasty and delicious to the last bite.

Good for reliability. Im torn about this place. Its easy fast, way better quality and price than banh mi che cali, BUT theres also a lot of great banh mi places in 626 SGV. This place is good if you want reliability. Mayo is a bit more sour in taste compared to other places. $7.74 Pate and Pork Meatloaf. For anyone who dont have time to go to a cheaper or better place, this place is a good default.

Service is just ok. But the Vietnamese coffee is absolutely great. The sad thing is that prices keep going up. It was just $2.99 before coffee now it is $4.99. The bread is good, we had just coffee and a baguette which we enjoyed. If you’re lucky to get it while is fresh it comes out so warm and soft. Yummy!

First time having banh mi in a while and this place came recommended and I loved it! Banh mi ain’t as cheap as it used to be ever since it became super popular but I’d say the prices here are pretty good and the food itself is wonderful! Great staff too, very friendly! I also tried the clam chowder, not bad!

Mr. Baguette banh mi is decent. However, for the price that they charged, I was expecting something better. You can find better banh mi with better pricing elsewhere in the San Gabriel Valley. I cant believe they charged $6 for an iced coffee. Vietnamese food is supposed to be affordable and good.

Viatmese sandwhiches and coffee is your jam then scope this place out. You got the pate as your viatnamese sand which staple and all the toppings you can expect or make it plain for those who don’t like patr. Fresh bread will go far with any of these sandwhiches. Check em out I did. Vietnamese coffee only 6 oz check the fin print it’s also six bucks make sure you really want it, me be best to go to Starbucks for the coat of the iced coffee. Also check out the faded paris decor, we want to be French but don’t want to waste money making it look good.

Good, fresh sandwiches that are a little hit and miss with strangely inconsistent amounts of fillings - sometimes containing more of one veg than others, in a single order. But still tasty, with good quality baguettes and flavorful meats, especially the lemongrass beef and anything with more than a touch of pate. Full sandwiches can be cut into quarters for sharing.

As of April 2021:You can now enter the restaurant but their dinging room is still closed.Nice and sleek improved menu displays their variety of items much better now! I’m tempted to try the other sandwiches since they all look so good!Bread:You can choose and upgrade to soft French roll, sesame, or croissant. The default is crunchy French roll.They have adequate plexiglass barriers between you and the staff placed both at the register where you have to order and where you go to pick up your food.As always it’s very clean inside.Sign posted says they close at 5pm.Fav banh mi place in the area.Service is always nice.Bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.You can’t go wrong with the #1. Pate tastes good.Overall, a fresh sandwich with delicious pickled veggies and fresh cilantro!Another fav is the grilled pork #5.

I visited during COVID-19 period when you can only do take out. I think the French bread is crunchy and soft inside but the crispy texture outside of the bread is not there. Ingredients were so so and not consistent and not very tasty. Other Bahn mi places used more flavorful meats and outstanding condiments. It is just okay place for a decent Vietnamese sandwich.

My girl felt like having sandwich for lunch, so she picked up this place, she had the baguette with Vietnamese bacon and i had the lemongrass beef, unbelievable delicious we both ended up eating the whole baguette plus one orange juice which was also very delicious, and the place smells so good ..we r looking forward to eat again, highly recommend this place

I used to like this place, not for the service but for the bread. I bought as usual the long bread🥖 but as soon as I got home, i tore a piece and a long wire came out of the bread. I went back and asked for the manager but they replied that there’s not manager or supervisor there. I asked if I can exchanged for a different one but they asked me the receipt for it because apparently they didn’t believe me i bought it from there. Very disappointed.

This place is super close to where I live and have not been here for years, used to be great.So today we stopped by to grab 2 french baguette for beef stew. Came in and 3 people were waiting for their food. None at the order line.I waited to make my order and then 4 more behind me after. I waited and they packed 2 french baguette and gave it to one person that came after me. I waited again, after the 3 that were there before and the 4 that came after me got their order, sandwiches, drinks.....and still nothing....Waited, and waited until no one left before the female employee with the round glasses (who took me order) and one of one lady in the back to even look at my receipt after I went over to ask. Then finally the employee with glass went and packed my order. Came over and said sorry, computer error.Its human error and right away blamed it on the computer. She even took the order herself and I was standing there waiting....come on, how bad can customer service be to mess up on such an easy order....2 freaking french baguette that you just have to go over, put in a bag and hand them to the customer.

CRUNCHY baguettes. Don’t forget to try their SESAME BAGUETTE. Great price and plenty of seating. Parking in the plaza can get cramped, so park on the street on Atlantic (tip). I prefer this place over Lee’s sandwich in quality of 🥖.

Very clean place with indoor dining and bathrooms. You can get good service in the am on your way to work for lunch. They have good coffees and the #4 chicken baguette works. You can even substitute and over easy eggs instead of chicken to make a breakfast sandwich.

The number 5, hot pork sandwich is my favorite. Thinly sliced pieces of pork with a carrot garnish in a wonderfully crunchy home made baguette. The employees are friendly and you can dine in. The restaurant is spotless and cheery.

DO NOT GO HERE. There service is deplorable and the new workers there are terrible and rude. I wanted egg and cheese sandwich but theirs comes with ham. I requested turkey instead cause I dont like ham but they rudely refused us saying no substitutions. This is after Ive been coming here for years and being allowed to have that. They hired new staff and the place had gone down hill. The service sucks now. The management team needs to retrain the staff on proper customer service.Food: their ice coffees are bitter and too much ice in it and the condensed milk is too processed. Their croissants, they add sugar coating to the top of them I dont know why.All in all this place has gone to the dogs, they dont respect customers and the quality of their food has gone.I wont be coming back. A shame.

I must admit that I tried only the baguettes and a few other items. The baguette with sesame seeds is meh, good but nothing to write home about. The normal one, and take this from someone that lived and worked in Paris, its really, really good. Just on the right wayvof crunchy outside and soft and fragrant inside.I tried the chicken and pork pies, wouldnt buy the chicken pie again. Still good, just not fantastic.The croissants were spectacular. Just a bit too enormous for my taste. Im used to European sizes, bite-sized pastries that leave you wishing for more. Im not complaining about American sizes (even if I should) but I expect better from Vietnamese bakeries.All things considered, a good place where to buy great baguettes and pastries.Next time I will try and review the pates.

Vegan and regular meat bahn mi are delicious. I think my friends say the veg turkey is best and I love the #4 chicken. BAGUETTES ARE AMAZING and truly taste like they source from a magic portal to Paris, France in the back. Coffee like creamy rocket fuel if youre into that sort of thing. You can call in orders to pick-up and they are pretty fast with all orders.

This Vietnamese inspired French Baguette sandwich shop is very well priced. I got a 12 inch pork pate sandwich for $3.50! The service is very quick so it is a great place to dine when you are on the go. The sandwiches taste a bit bland and they dont add enough vegetables to it. The decor is a little gaudy because they tried to recreate the Champs de Elysee inside. This place is essentially cash only unless you spend more than $10.

As much as I like this fast food healthy eatery, I would CURRENTLY advise AGAINST buying raisin rolls there. About 1.5 inches around the inner core is EMPTY, which is visible to anyone taking the first bite. Its like buying a beverage where no less than 35% if the container is empty. Wonder if the same profit increase strategy will soon be used with baguettes.

I ordered a small black ice coffee with 1/3 ice. Instead of full cup of coffee, I got ONLY 6oz which is less than 1/3 of the cup with $3+(??????).I couldn’t believe my eyes & I didn’t argue with the staff cause it’s not up to her & didn’t want to embarrass her. I grabbed it and walked out. I do this cause I don’t ALWAYS drink it all at once.Starbucks/Coffe Beans will fill it up & give me a separate cup with ice ONLY with less than $3 & I believe Coffee Beans is the lowest (less than $2?) & they both taste great!.Bye bye Mr Baguette!

When I Walked inside 3 Vietnamese people were standing in front of me I was the only African American in the store/line. Each of them were acknowledged with Hello how are you by the cashier whos an older Vietnamese lady. As I approached the counter the same lady did NOT greet me as she did the 3 Vietnamese individuals b4 me,she didnt say anything to me at all. At this point I asked her Hello how are you doing today?She look at me with an Evil stare and didnt respond to me. At that point I walked out of the business without purchasing Anything. This is the 2nd time shes done this to me. ITS OBVIOUS she doesnt want my business. I WILL NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN

Very good baguettes and sandwiches. My wife loves the Vietnamese coffee and I love the Chicken Curry. Always stop when we are in the area and buy a couple of baguettes and Chicken Curry. Definitely worth a visit.

Oh my God I love mr. Baguette this is truly like one of the few places I could say I didnt just go there for the food I went there for the smell the smell of fresh-baked French bread crispy get soft twisty and tender when hot out of the oven crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and tastes so good when you make a sandwich out of it and then you get all kinds of stuff and you put jalapenos that sandwich at mr. Quality of food has gone down slightly over the past couple of years, and the staff is quite unfriendly. Everyone just looks unhappy. The picture of this friendly guy was a one time thing, and that was 2yrs ago. He didnt last long since everyone else looks like a wet blanket.

Never want to eat there again. Why?, Because when I bought a chicken sandwitch there, I usually check if they have the order correct. When I open up my sandwitch there was a dead roach in my sandwitch, that totally discuss me.
