2023-11-05 23:39:51Mr Dragon Noodle House was a random pick due to high reviews, wasn’t sure what I wanted to eat here but this place is damn worth a visit! The food is absolutely fantastic! I can see why peeps rave about this place; I would suggest getter there at an odd time so one can actually get a seat! One of the best beef rolls I have ever tasted, it’s not typical, crispy on the outside! – The beef noodle soup was flavorful, hints of star anise and Chinese five spice flowed throughout the dish! Customer service was great and prices are reasonable! Give them a try, worth the visit!

2023-10-14 05:04:45I’ve been going to the Dragon Noodle House in Rowland since I was a kid. This location is better. The beef noodles are great, tender beef and tendons in delicious broth. Solid pan fried buns and surprisingly..popcorn chicken (kind of a weird new menu option but I’m here for it). A good option for beef noodles.

2023-08-04 23:28:22Came for a late lunch and were seated immediately. We ordered shrimp fried rice and pan fried udon and green tea. The dishes were all generous portions and the drinks were huge. Food was very tasty. Staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend.

2023-10-17 06:56:08VERY delicious. Fast service. Friendly staff. Check in on Yelp to smooth your seating process. Parking sucks. XLB and spicy wontons are better than Din Tai Fung’s. Beef roll is a must try.

2023-10-27 15:20:02I definitely love the noodles here. The House Special Beef Noodle Soup contains three crispy and juicy beef slices with noodles, bok Choy and the thick broth. Once its on the disk, I could not stop myself from taking the noodles, eating the beef as well as drinking the broth. Too delicious!!! My friend gives the feedback that Mushroom Noodle Soup is full of mushrooms with the special sauce. For the popcorn chicken, its not crispy enough but its in a large size. Worth a try and might anticipate a long waiting lane at weekends nights.

2023-08-26 04:53:41It was pretty busy when we arrived for dinner, but only waited 15-20 minutes for a party of 2. They bus the tables pretty quickly. You sign in on a tablet, grab a menu and ordering sheet. The prices are on the ordering sheet and the menu has pictures of the apps and entrees.I ordered the popcorn chicken (mild), pork and crab XLB, and the house beef noodle soup. The popcorn chicken tasted pretty good and was not spicy at all. Def something for a larger party to share, ended up taking the rest home. The pork and crab XLB was pretty good! Not a lot of soup inside, but the flavor was great 😊 And skin wasn’t too doughy too, iykyk. The house beef noodle soup was pretty solid. Plenty of noodles, and three large chunks of beef. The beef was super tender. I was honestly surprised. Bok choy was fresh and crunchy, not over done. Not something (beef noodle soup) I would normally eat or order, but my friend really hyped it up. I would say it’s a solid bowl of noodles and soup. I can tell it tastes pretty good 👍🏼Overall pretty affordable and great spot to check out if you’re into beef noodle soups and XLB.There’s parking, didn’t wait too long to find a spot.

2023-10-23 19:42:21Absolutely good food. Would be perfect with easier parking. But upon entering Mr. Dragon Noodle House, the first thing you notice is the inviting aroma of simmering broths and freshly prepared noodles. The ambiance exudes warmth with its traditional Asian decor, accentuated by dim hanging lanterns that offer a cozy feel. The menu is extensive, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. One standout dish that caught my attention even before diving into the noodle dishes was their Popcorn Chicken. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these bite-sized delights were seasoned to perfection, offering a delightful crunch with each bite, making them a perfect appetizer or side.Diving deeper into the menu, their signature Dragon Noodles stand out. Delicately hand-pulled, the noodles have a chewy texture that perfectly complements the richly flavored broth. The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, with its tender beef slices and a fiery broth, provides the right amount of kick for those craving some heat. For vegetarians, the Tofu and Mushroom Noodle Soup is a revelation. The tofu is silky, absorbing the umami-rich flavors of the broth, while the assortment of mushrooms adds a delightful earthy touch. Beyond noodles, their dim sum offerings, especially the shrimp dumplings, are a must-try. They’re juicy, succulent, and encased in a paper-thin wrapper.Service is another strong point for Mr. Dragon. The staff is attentive without being intrusive. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make recommendations tailored to your preferences.Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. Additionally, their tea selection is commendable, with the Jasmine tea being a personal favorite. However, the place can get quite packed during peak hours, so it’s advisable to either book in advance or visit during off-peak times. In conclusion, Mr. Dragon Noodle House offers an authentic noodle experience, enhanced by their delightful array of starters, including the memorable Popcorn Chicken. Whether you’re a noodle aficionado or someone new to Asian cuisine, this place is sure to leave you satisfied and longing for a second visit.

2023-09-17 23:17:42We came here so many times and would always order the beef noodle- D1, xiao long bao, sometimes we added the fried bun or the spicy wonton. Spicy wonton is really spicy but good kind of spicy. Xiao Long Bao as in compared to the Din Tai Fung, is more tasty however the skin is thicker. The beef noodle- is the-must-order. The beef tendon is soft and tender, broth is deef and flavorful. We also tried the popcorn chicken, and it was so good too. It’s just a lot we had to take home.Every single dish that I tried at this place is solid! Happy to come back from time to time.

2023-10-21 17:38:48Amazing place to get dinner!! Dumplings and bao were so juicy and the portions are big. The beef noodles and ramen were also sleeper hits with our party. But the unexpected star at the table was the chicken fried rice. So much flavor and packed a light chicken punch. We wanted to order another one, but decided against it because we completely demolished the rest of the dishes. The service was friendly even during the busy Saturday night we went on. We will be returning!

2023-06-29 18:39:09Ordered a bowl of spicy noodles with tendon only and shared Xiao Long Bao with my buddy. Not sure which menu item though, as they didn’t have exactly what I wanted on the menu but happily accommodated. Flavors were really good on both, but was expecting a little more pop of flavor. Like the noodles alone didn’t have a lot of flavor, so I had to make sure to add some sauce to each bite or combine with the broth at every bite. Same for the Bao. Not a bad thing, just my observation compared to others. Temperature could have been better too. I like my soup hot hot and it was just warm. Same with Bao. In fact I was very careful with my first bite of Bao, making sure the soup inside was ok, but wasn’t really an issue. I’m actually like the soup to “burn” a little bit and have the vinegar and soy sauce mistype cool down before I eat it.A minor annoyance was the soy sauce and vinegar jars. They are very messy. Seems to leak on every pour. Makes for a very mess at table.Service was fast and friendly and price was reasonable for the serving sizes, so will definitely go back.As for those who say it’s better than Din Tai Fung, I have to respectfully disagree. I am no DTF fan, but once you get past the wait and price, food is pretty good and skillfully prepared. I rarely go due to the two former mentioned issues, but my GF is a big fan so i have to go every now and again. Anyway, both have different pros and cons so I’ll call it a tie for now.
