Mr. Kuso Cafe truly captures the essence of Taiwan with an impressive array of Taiwanese-inspired snacks. My personal favorites are: 1. Fried Pork Blood Rice Cake, a mouthwatering dish that combines crispy rice cake with rich flavors. 2. Pork Cheek Meat with Garlic Sauce. The succulent meat paired with the aromatic garlic sauce, the tenderness of the pork cheek was truly remarkable. 3. Duck Blood & Spicy Sticky Tofu Combo is an absolute must-try.The only downside I encountered was the early closing time for dinner – 8:15 PM. Its a bit early, especially for those who enjoy leisurely evening meals. Nevertheless, the incredible dining experience more than makes up for this minor inconvenience.

I used to really enjoy this place, but it doesnt seem to have the same quality as before. I ordered mapo tofu to go, one of my favorite dishes. What I received was definitely not mapo tofu. It was just tofu, oil and rice with some green onion on top. It was inedible with the amount of oil that was on it. There was no ground meat, garlic, ginger or any of the other flavors Ive had in mapo tofu dishes before.

What can I say about this location, this is a hidden gem. Service is always good here. Every time I order to go or I bring my family with two younger kids. They always accommodate the seating. Parking is fantastic as there are plenty. The food is always hot and always fresh. There’s many different options and they have specials throughout the season. I love this place!

This is my go to place when I’m craving Taiwanese snacks. Good portions with fair prices. Here are my go to:1. Braised pork rice ($7.50)2. Taiwanese Gua bao ($4.50)3. Fried stinky tofu ($6.50)4. Popcorn chicken ($5.99)5. Fried fish cake ($5.50)Something I would NOT recommend:Pig intestine - they are pretty gamyDrinks - great price (under $4) but mostly watered down, boba wasn’t chewy tooOverall, it’s a good place for Taiwanese snacks. It’s authentic!

Initially I had low expectations because our table looked like it was freshly cleaned (as it was still wet) but there was a big splotch of soy sauce paste right in front a chair. The guys who brought us our menus didnt notice it. The girl who brought us our utensils didnt notice it. So i asked the girl to please give me extra napkins so I could clean the mess and I pointed it out to her. She came and cleaned it but didnt bring extra napkin as we had used one to wipe the table dry.Other than that, food was decent. The boba was smaller than usual so it was slippery and kind of difficult to grab between my molars, but they were the perfect chewiness and flavor. The rice dish I got was awesome. It seemed simple enough but it wasnt too salty and perfect ratio of rice to topping. The 2 stinky tofu dishes my sister got was tasty but not stinky enough. Maybe they have to tone it down for the American taste, because the authentic smell alone would probably cause many Americans, who arent used to it, to get up and leave XD. Theirs was a very tame and toned down version of what the stench should be. Lol.The crab cake we got was tasty but unfortunately made from imitation crab.Oh and the spicy stinky tofu was not spicy at all. Maybe if youre super sensitive but it wasnt even mildly spicy to me.

I always have a great time in Mr. Kuso Cafe! I love the sweet potato fries, and the evil line of dishes! Theyre great. 10/10 recommend the Rose Mlik Tea. To top it off, they sell Zindrew Chilli Oil!!! Ive fell in love with it at the 626 night market, and have been looking for an in-person vendor.

Fun dining atmosphere with all the knick knacks on the walls. Food and drinks are delicious, and at a reasonable price. They implement a qr code menu ordering, but you can pay cash after you finish dining. My go to meal is the curry pork chop rice, and fried chicken skins.

Great neighborhood fast food. Good food and nice clean environment, could be a very popular spot!Trying out their different dishes, dumplings are surprisingly good, and all other dishes are well balance (not your typical over salty fast food). It was a very nice dinner.

Use to be better, not sure what happened. Minced meat rice has good flavor, but the rice itself was of low quality. They dont have much flexibility on your customization example you cant only order the sticky rice. You have to get their sausages with it, which is not that good. Also, I dont think its run by Taiwanese people anymore. It feels like they sold it to some Chinese people.

Definitely my favorite Taiwanese restaurant. Love their popcorn chicken. I have had many popcorn chicken in the SG valley area (pp pop, the Taiwaese restaurant in Arcadia, from Taiwanese drink place etc) and this is definitely the best. Authentic Taiwanese food. Their Ma Po tofu rice, pork chop rice, chicken cartilage, Taiwanese sausage... Everything is delicious. Highly recommend. They get very busy so call or order online.
