The portion sizes were generous, and the ingredients were fresh, making it a great value for money.I particularly loved the lobster noodles with their tender and bouncy shrimp meat. Its definitely a dish worth recommending! I look forward to visiting again and I highly recommend it to everyone!

As we made our way into dinner. We searched up pho in Merced and Mr. Pho popped up on Google.Simply menu. Basically 3 or 4 items under a few different categories. I figured simple menu, simple food.I ordered the combination pho that comes with one beef rib. Priced at about $17, I figured this was the bowl.First off, this restaurant was apparently an old subway.Beef broth without any condiments was very beefy. That extra beef rib definitely added extra beefy taste to the pho. The bowl looked smaller than usual restaurant serving size but hey I found myself struggling to finish it off. The bowl did not let me off easy as I was fighting to the end to the last slurp of noodle and it was tasty throughout each slurp. Definitely caught me off guard seeing how simple this menu and restaurant was. Dont let the look turn you away as it almost did me. In the area, go try Mr. Pho.

Havent been back home for a minute and we stopped by for lunch. Got the combination pho which all in all was good. There was just one thing that really bothered me and it was a slight smell from the meat. The eggroll came hot and crispy which was a solid yes for me. The staff were kind and friendly which made my visit comfortable and I appreciate that.

The place is small, service is decent . I’m disappointed because they ran out of ribs for the beefy pho. Stopped by on my way from socal . My friend thought the broth was a bit salty . I like the broth . Portion size is decent . Only 1 size .

I ordered the lobster and shrimp garlic noodles. It was just chow mein. I did not see or taste any garlic at all. I dug all around and showed my husband and he couldnt find any garlic either. He tried it too and said it was just chow mein. We asked if we could get more garlic sauce, but the cook said that it was used to make the noodles already and there wasnt anymore. I bit into the lobster and it was raw on the inside. Ill attach a picture to show what I mean. I told the server and she offered to bring it back to have it cooked longer. She comes back a minute later and says the cook said its ok to eat that way. I know some people dont mind raw seafood, but I am not one of those people. I prefer my seafood cooked since I dont know how fresh it is.My husband had the beef pho and the flavor was bland, but he enjoyed the meats and tendon. He said the broth was ok but definitely on the plain side.The customer service was lacking. The cook didnt seem to want to help at all and didnt even try to make things right. We are definitely not going back.

Great place. Friendly young workers. Table are clean right away. Lobster pho was okay. Good Broth, good portion, higher price is understandable cuz of the lobster tail $20. Beef combo is pho is high thou $16. Some other places are still $11 after tax. Would be nice if you can sub chicken broth to beef broth.

Enjoyed the food. The broth was different but refreshing. Not just a regular ol beef broth that some of us are used to at noodle shops. Really enjoyed the appetizers. Small menu but worth trying. Id eat there again

Staff was super friendly and attentive. Happy to see lots of Asians eating there which is a good sign. Pho was great but the broth was not hot. Lukewarm Pho made it less enjoyable. But still very good flavor, meats, and great noodles too.

Food was wonderful, however was seated right next to the bathrooms, which me and my guest would constantly hear the toilet flushing and felt uncomfortable being 3-5 feet away were people uses the bathroom. Servers would constaly take our condiments without asking and felt a little rude as we were conversating and frequently had to get the attention of a employee for the condiments taken from our table.

I liked the BYOB, cause I can customize what protein I want. The fried rice is good as well as the Bao.The only downside is I cant get over the after tasted of the Pho broth..I cant describe itAlso sad that they took the BBH off their menu
