Awesome local spot! Better quality than Panda Express, and the quantity is much much more! (Though less options). Youre supporting a small family owned restaurant by going here and its been a Lake Forest take out staple for a long time. My go-to place for Chinese food. $9 for a LARGE plate is awesome!

Highly recommend and will come back regularly! By far BEST BBQ pork Ive ever had. Very moist on the inside and tender. Others I had were often hard and dry on the outside.Portions are great and the noodles and rice tasted fresh as well. Owners are extremely nice and would high recommend!

Seriously their barbecued pork is some of the best I have had in a VERY long time. Portion sizes are huge, definitely hit the spot today. It reminds me of this amazing Cantonese place from my childhood. I could cry! Their other items are pretty standard. Not sure what other people are talking about but all their food was freshly made and far less greasy than many other places in the area. I highly recommend it. Tell your friends :)

I have been wanting to try Mister Wok and Im sure glad I did! Not only was the food extremely delicious, the prices are amazing. The selection is really good, and I was really pleased all the way around! I absolutely will be back, and soon. If you havent tried theyre wonderful food yet, do yourself a favor, and try it today.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE CHINESE FOOD PLACE EVER! Way better than Panda Express. If you don’t really like Panda then you would like this place! If you like Panda then most likely you won’t enjoy this place as much! Very good food and very good pricing! Good service I get along with all the workers and I’m glad I’ve been going here since a young teenager! When I’m hungry I’ll eat 5 plates of food here because it’s that good! I have never had better BBQ Pork better in any other place

Just had the worst experience, the worker (his name is Liu) that helped me, gave me the worst attitude. I was the only customer in the store at the time, so it isnt like he was busy. He got upset because I couldnt understand him, and he was talking fast. It isnt fair to get treated this way when youre buying food from them. Wouldnt wish it on anyone to get treated the way I was treated.

Had been craving Chinese food for a few days now and decided to give this place a try. I noticed that the reviews are either really good or really bad. Now that I tried this place I wonder where the good reviews came from. The food has no taste and the to-go plates are smaller than regular to- go plates. I got a one item combo, fried rice, chow mein, and broccoli beef. My boyfriend had orange chicken and he mentioned how that was not good either. While sitting there I was surprised people kept coming in, this place seems to be popular in the area.

June 2017: First time at this restaurant. The food was totally disgusting. Purchased almond chicken which was a little disappointing but worse was the almond chicken as the almonds were totally old and stale, I had to spit out all of what I tried to eat. It tasted rancid, stale just couldnt swallow this at all!! Then even worst was the vegetable roll which was dripping or oozing with oil... such unhealthy food. I couldnt eat any of it. I had also purchased a serving of the fried rice for my kids but there was just too much oil / grease in it, I or they couldnt eat a spoon of it. I ate the steamed vegetable but started feeling so sick while consuming the almond chicken. In 2 or three minutes I started getting severe headache and pounding of my heart, then I knew that I was poisoned by MSG from the food. The quality of their food is really bad, very disappointing. not many options and not tasty ones exist either. I Truly regret spending my $20 there for family lunch. Ill never again repeat this mistake. I should have kept my money with me Id have been be much better off purchasing a bottle of cold water.Next time Ill continue on to Panda express, you stand a higher chance to be pleased or satisfied. Mr. Woks food is quite disappointing in general except the orange chicken is not too bad but too much fat rather than chicken. Way too much grease, lacking flavour and containing MSG to damage ones health.

This place is great for the price. You get alot of food and it usually taste great. Some people have said the food is bland. On occasion you will get something that the flavor is not on point but for the price its usually great. Its cheap and when your on a budget trying to feed a crowd this is my go too place. They also have no problem making a fresh batch of something if you dont want food thats sitting. They also sample food if you want to try it before committing to one thing. If you feel the food here isnt good then go spend double for a third of the amount of food up the street at panda express. Mr wok has amazing deals for large parties. Very reasonable for what you get. I dont like bbq pork but tried the pork here and now i get it everytime. Everyone who works here is really nice too.

Absolutely disgusting!! Dont waste your money. I literally threw it in the trash which is where it belongs. Called to complain about the kung pao chicken having mushroom since Im allergic and the lady said were closing, I tried explaining the issue and she hung up on me. Soooo rude!!!! The honey spicy chicken was not edible it was gross & the beef & broccoli was like rubber. $27 later & now I have to spend money somewhere else for dinner. Dont get me wrong I didnt expect 5 star quality but Ive never once before thrown out something after 1 bite unless it was way undercooked. This place should be shut down

This is restuarant where the food is good but not wow, the owners business practices though are unethical, when they open they were serving the ordered meals in to go containers 9 inches by 9 inches size generous and value for money was there all the way around, whenever I go I see customer line there, surprisingly the last two time I noticed that the containers size has went down to 7 inches by 7 inches and the meals portion are smaller, when I asked the person behind the counter why they start doing this, nervously the person pretended he does not understand English and try not answer me, I personally find this Restaurant owners very big cheat and unethical people, they are scammers and big cheat therefore I will not go back there neither I recommend it for you, this time they cut the corner in the portion my be next time they cut the corner in food qualities, when a business starts cheating customers then its not worth supporting, dont waste your in such ripoff place.

To the man named Matt who only gave one star... Are you for real!! They dont even sell Almond Chicken!! Im not sure where you ate but it sure wasnt Mr Wok... that or you have been asked to leave such a dishonest review, or you just need a hug. Not to mention you could have asked for a sample before feeding your children the oily fried rice!!! Lol its fried rice!! You need oil in order to fry the rice!! I pray to God thats not the only thing youre feed your children!! It was already a terrible choice. Im not even sure Panda Express uses real food except for their vegetables. Oh and heads up that use a s*** ton of oil a Panda Express too!!Some people!! On a side note, I love this place, customer service is on parr, you cant beat the price, and the food is delicious. I will definitely be bringing my friends and family here to eat.

Well what can i say about mr wok very nice guy .he had two locations but one closed down almost a year ago.the food is pretty good there the only thing that i dont like is that they changed the size of the containers to half of what it use to be but did not change the price .so now your paying the same amout for half of the food .before i could never finsh a two piece combo and now i can finsh it and still be hungry .atleast they could of said something to the customers about the containers being a little smaller insted of just getting over on them .not good for business but the food is pretty good just not enough for what they charge .you decide
