Just like a few reviewers have stated, Ive been coming here for the last 20 years, was the best around. Apparently the owership has changed as have the staff that made it great. I suspect theyve changed suppliers as well. The last time I got food there about three weeks ago, I couldnt believe how awful it was, I threw it all away! If the new owners read this, heads-up youll be out of business in no time. This was a great Chinese take out for the Riverside area with many loyal customers and bad news travels fast! Farewell
This place is absolutely amazing. their spicy tofu is BOMB. we usually get 2 orders of it because my family and I don’t eat meat. it’s so good every time. my brother loves their noodles
New owners? Been coming here for 20 years. The team was one of a kind. No other Mr. You was as good as this one.What happened? Cant be the lack of business as it was always packed here especially during pandemic as people were craving comfort food.Anyhow, if any of the old crew is reading this: We miss you guys. You are the best. ❤️Hope the new owners can live up to the expectations. So far add on charges makes you not want to return.
The price is not just unquestionably reasonable every time I visit, but also reasonable for the portion. Despite appearances, the food is usually flavorful, especially my personal favorite orange chicken. After all, other from some petrol money and the cost of the food, you have nothing to lose. Although its under a new ownership, things are going just as well as before.
Nice chinese food .. famous for orange chicken. Try also chicken curry, teriyaki, thai fried rice .. all are our favorite.
Great staff, nice place and overall good food. My only complaint is my wife egg rolls were not cooked all the way. By the time we got home (I live less then 6 minutes away) the egg rolls were very cold on the inside. My orange chicken was great.
First I would like to begin with the customer service...The lady that came from the kitchen was VERY RUDE!! I acknowledged her and she blatantly ignored me while giving dirty looks smh. It seemed as if it was an issue for me being a patron as I placed my order politely I felt uncomfortable but still proceeded. Mind you I drove 30 mins away from my residence plus got lost along the way bc GPS had an older location. I was craving Chinese food and I treated myself for my bday. Anyway food was very seasoned and delicious. No complaints. However if customer service is horrible I usually do not frequent an establishment again

Not terrible but this is not as good as the other Mr You’s across the street. I’m not sure why there would be two right next two each other, but they are NOT the same thing. The Mr You’s next to the Kohls is soooo much better than this spot. Everything we had was different. Nothing we had was better than our usual. I’m sure people like this spot, and it is decent, jut the other one is better. Only reason we went to this one is because our normal spot is closed wed. Go to the one by Kohls!

It was difficult to place an order because I was not understood well and was treated as if it was my fault. They have barricaded themselves behind tables and chairs for distancing I am suspecting. Not hospitable. Mostly all chicken dishes. I asked for BBQ it is not what used to. It does not taste fresh at all. The pad Thai is one of the worst I have eaten. I gave the second star because they do try to pack the food in and give you large portions. I will not have a need to go back.

Food was good but the lady at the register was a b!tch! She began talking sh!t to her helper/server because a customer had asked for a bit of extra chow mien as he proceeded to give it. She then turned on the next customer who was paying at the register that asked for an extra utensil, stating if he wanted one or two forks that he would need to be more precise when asking. Honestly, I should have just walked out instead of getting my food there after witnessing that.
Would be 0 stars if it was possible... And it should be. Some places deserve that rating. This place doesnt have 1 thing on their menu that is fresh ever. Even if it is and you order something they have to make then it wont be. They do not use common sense here. If I order something that takes you 5 minutes or more to cook I DO NOT want my chomping or anything else I ordered gotten ready before my special item. So what i am overpaying you for not fresh food? I will only be ordering their special items from now on. And that IF I ever go back
We been coming here for many years but lately the lady taking our orders with an angry voice as if she choosing customers, shes quite calm to the customer before us, my husband misunderstood noodles to chow mien, her voice was louder to repeat it. kindly show courtesy by giving the respect to your customers, nobody is perfect to make such orders by your own understanding name of the menu. thank you.
Very poor quality. I do not recommend at all. The food tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. I was really excited about the chicken wings but I took one bite and could immediately tell that the chicken was very low quality. The spicy orange chicken was alright but the same off flavor was coming from the mushroom chicken. I was surprised because a lot of people seemed to be coming to the restaurant??? In any case, I feel sick and am now drinking green tea to hopefully settle my stomach.
Rude service, nasty food … i ordered very spicy veg. Chowmein got it with NO spicy at all..i think 1star is toooo much for this place..DEFINILY NOT GOING BACK

I love this place #7 with shrimp its thi noodles they are great. The girl that takes orders has been there for a long time very nice. I believe its a family own and works. I want to give 4 1/2 stars.

Mr you gives more food in your order, I always get the spicy orange chicken its very good they also have a less spicy version. All and all pretty good try it!
Solid place for typical takeout Chinese, if youre looking for that type of thing. Not the highest quality of takeout I ever had, but you cant beat the price. They pile the plates HIGH. Lots of food. If youre not as hungry, you might be better off buying a couple thing a la carte.

Never again 3 item combo they dont fill plates up like Moreno Valley location. Green bean chicken was old from lunch time with shrunken green beans no chicken all onions, orange chicken not crispy, rice ok, chow mein mushy. I came all they from down town riverside area . Normally go to moval. Next time Ill go across the street by jack n box to that chinese food location or drive back to moval where they tape ur container closed, full if food. So disappointed!!!!!!Tried to call phone just rang. Poor quality to be in such a suburb, high traffic area. Oh and I went at 6pm.
The food is good, quite large portions and reasonable prices but even though there was a very long line of customers, they would wait until items were just about out to ask cooks for more, causing a terrible delay, it took nearly 45 minutes to get my food from the time I got in line.
Their orange chicken is fatty and full of all dark meat. Also, their customer service is terrible. We use to eat here all the time. Unfortunately, the quality of their food has diminished.
They really overstuff your takeout for the price you pay compared to other Chinese takeout. Food is ok. Your money is well spent.Can’t complain what I paid for. Will come again for the price and the food

My family has been going here for over 15 yrs. Always spend at least $50-$100 everytime we go. Its pretty sad they wont give you more than 2 soy sauces. And if you want more they want to charge$.20 a pack.
They refuse to sell my family member food because I found a hair in my food this place was a good place to eat back in the days but now there food is just DIRTY aways hairs u dont believe me dont take my words for it see with your own eyes the light on top of the food look close up and you will see dust dead bugs and small hairs and still they claim there food dont have hairs and ever night that they clean up there establishment but its right in front of you also if u ever taste there Orange chicken when freshly done and u open your plate u can smell the cleaning chemical they use they just suck and rude most of all they are really dirty ppl they should be closed down.
I will tell you the best thing they have is their spicy chicken wings, even though they cost a dollar now are still so good so I would recommend people trying it

2023-11-26 02:50:31Prices are WRONG Online!Be prepared to pay $3- $4 more PER ITEM!! The prices they have posted on their online menu are wrong ($8.59 is actually $11.99 for Combo C!!). Thats over a 40% increase! Even DoorDash doesnt upcharge as much! They conveniently dont offer online ordering so you dont figure out until youre there to pick it up. By then, youre already there and need to feed your family so youre not going anywhere else!

I would highly recommend Mr. You Chinese Food to everyone interested in eating a quality lunch or dinner. Five stars in all categories.

2023-08-12 19:41:31We recently tried this place for takeout and were initially happy with the taste, however, we did find a metallic bristle from a grill scrub in the noodles, which is pretty dangerous. Guess we will not be eating here again.

2023-06-10 02:29:59Well, I could say for what I paid the pad kee mao absolutely was horrible I took one bite and the rest of it went in the trash along with my sons the noodles tasted like they just pulled it out of water and throw them in the container with a little bit of shrimp. No spice or flavor at all. Just horrible. At least the trash will enjoy. It drove all the way from Riverside central area never make that drive again.

2023-05-12 02:41:32Worst Chinese food I think I have ever eaten. Chomein starcy and salty. I have had jerky that wasnt as dry as their teriyaki chicken. Teriyaki sauce was like water. The prices are now more than Panda express. Oh and they charge for the hot sauce. Save your tummy and your money. Just bad food.
