Had a great visit last night. Met the brewer and he was great at explaining about the beers. All the beers I tried were above average. The Pilsner and Triple were awesome!! I definitely recommend a visit. Great selection of Belgian beers.

There is a ton of seats outdoors, but it was 99 degrees, so forget that I sat inside. The interior of this establishment is a tad crowded. There is a wide assortment of beers there; I chose the Bob Rice, which was excellent and smooth with a decent hop note. Additionally, their porter was excellent, so I purchased several cans to go home and share with the girls. You cant match that for a pint of decent microbrew; prices range from $5.50 to $6.50 on average. Plenty of parking is available because it is in a small retail center.

I came for the sours and they were definitely a treat if you enjoy sours! The bathroom and all areas were clean. There was a good amount of seating outside, not too much inside. Food from the Mexican restaurant next door or the pizza place across the parking lot.The guy working the counter didn’t seem happy at all, he didn’t respond when I asked how he was and just asked what I wanted. He did the same thing to the next customer, so overall he didn’t seem very friendly and even irritated to be there.I’d go back and try more; maybe he was just having a bad day.

Pretty decent stop, especially if you are in to Sours as that is their specialty. On that note, the Raspberry Lemonade was really good and it had great color. The inside is very small though. I knocked a star off on this one mostly because there wasnt much mask wearing/enforcement going on, and that stood out to me on our beer trip that day. Should we head back during non Covid times, its likely Id bump it the last star though as everyone was friendly and I enjoyed both my beer and the atmosphere they had going.

Great little brewery that I thoroughly enjoyed. Went a little later on a weekend night, we missed the live music unfortunately. Brews were awesome and we loved all of them. If you’re a big sours person this spot definitely needs to be a must

One of our favorites... Their beer is amazing, my hubby is a huge fan, but my favs are usually their seltzers, sours, and kombuchas..always flavorful and unique. Staff is friendly, fun, helpful, enthusiastic and amazing.. great atmosphere, great music, clean, welcoming, inviting, great patio. If you havent tried them, its a must.

The beer was fantastic. I came for the sours and left with my favorite being the 340 hazy pale ale (it had a slight tropical flavor that was amazing). Had to buy some cans on my out.Now Im enjoying Angels Kisses in the Spring from a can and that is fantastic, too. Ill be back!

Great people and fun beers! We did the short pours of many and they were all interesting (imp porter on nitro was great, sours were much better than most American sours)... Looking forward to visiting again!

Lauren was working when we came in and she wasincredibly knowledgeable, and was awesome about walking us through all the beers. They have a variety of styles on tap. Their Plum Sour was good, as well as their Belgian ale. We also enjoyed their Pale Ale, and their Summer IPA. This place is definitely worth the stop. We dont live very close, but I have no doubt well be back. 🍻 P.S. Mountain Mikes is in the same shopping center and will deliver to the taproom 🍕

Marz is one of those breweries that are tough to describe. Their sours are my favorite. They also have Belgian styles that a very good. On this visit they had 3 hoppy forward beers, all different. You can’t forget about the Coffee Pot Porter at 9%, this is very good.My choices Saison Je Cassis and Step Brewers

I dropped in real quick to grab some beers to-go since Ive always liked the beers Ive had in the past by them. They had some live music and chill vibe outside. Only reason I dont give it 5 stars is the person working the front didnt know anything about their beers which was strange. I asked to recommend a hazy or a blonde and they suggested a DIPA. I guess its my fault for not double checking the cans they picked out but Im not a fan of Dipas and when I got home I was disappointed I spent twenty something on 4 cans of beers I dont like. Im not judging the beer cause Im sure its great for those who love that style just annoyed that the knowledge of the beer was that far off. Oh well maybe it was their first week or something. I will be back for sure and hangout when I have more time to spend.

I cannot speak highly enough of this spot. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the beer is and how wide a variety there is.They have everything you could possibly want; sours, IPAs, saisons, porters, barrel aged stouts and more. I highly recommend visiting.Half pours are available for every beer so you can taste them all. Lots of outdoor seating is available as well.

I love this place. Small, but strong. Alex is amazing. She handled a completely unexpected runners group (30-40 people) last minute and did it all with a smile and grace. Not to mention, she checked in on me and her other customers along the way. Amazing customer service!

We love this place! Always a great selection of various kinds of beer, not just most of them being IPAs like other places. Their prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly. I wish the tasting room was a little bigger though, only a few tables and it can get very LOUD in there since it’s so small. They do have a few tables outside which is nice, but you’re just looking out into the parking lot. Their sours are great, especially the Cran-turrazmo and the Triple Berry!

I really love this place. The tap room is intimate (read small) with seating for around 30 people inside and some tables outside. There is almost always something spinning on the record player. If they have an album you like, they will play it. Speaking of beers, they brew FANTASTIC beers. Their menu (tap list) has a good variety. They specialize in sours; both kettle and barrel aged sours. That being said, last time we were there I enjoyed 5oz pours of a sour, an amber saison, a pale ale and an imperial stout. They (both bartenders and patrons) have been welcoming when my wife and I come in with our infant son for a couple of beers. If you like great beer check it out.

Amazing beer with rotating selection. Mraz separates from others with their Belgian ales, always creative and full of complexity. Everyone does IPA and Mraz better than most. Bartenders are friendly and helpfull. As a local I know how lucky we are to have such a great award winning brewery in our backyard.

Some of the most amazing brews I have ever tasted. Location is small but cozy. Staff is friendly, theyll take suggestions for vinyls to play on their record player and they have a decent selection of music. TVs inside make it a great place to enjoy a beverage while watching a game.

Without a doubt my favorite local brewery. Their brews are all excellent representations of the style. Their barrel program is unmatched in the state. Ryan and Lauren have shown some of the best hospitality I have ever experienced. This place is a MUST visit.

Hip atmosphere with a clean and well thought-out interior design. Fantastic selection of mostly Belgian and farmhouse-style beer. Many sours to choose from, a few ales, a stout, one IPA, and an Amber. It is refreshing to see a CA brewery with a majority of traditional styles and less over-hopped brews.

Holy sour, batman. My wife dropped in on our anniversary to kill some time before the Community Observatory opened. I ordered the Coffee Pot Porter. Im usually a stout guy, but this was great for a porter. I am delighted at the variety of beer types they offer.My wife got a sour (I believe it was the GTO) that was INTENSELY sour. We struggled to finish it, it was such a bite. Im tempted to believe that the keg fermented beyond their expectations, honestly.The menu looked fine, but there werent any substantial options for vegetarians. As far as beer goes, though, Ill absolutely attempt to give them more of my business when were nearby and look for their cans in local establishments. I took home a can of Pinchapple Express, which was delightful and sour in a way I found much more enjoyable.

A very sour- heavy brewery. If you like it, their beers are excellent. They also have a couple good Belgian style brews. I cant say a whole lot for the looks of the place, but I loved the people there and the beer too.

Went here on July 3, 2020. Had been here before and enjoyed some beers. However this time I was totally disappointed with the lack of implementation of face masks. The fact that there was NO sign at all saying face masks required gave me the gut feeling the hill town stereotype I had in my head would be true. And upon entering it was confirmed. People here were close to each other and hugging. Lots of loud talking with no masks. But the worst was this: The bartender wore no mask when she helped me (she had one but it seemed to be too much trouble for her to put it on), then proceeded to scratch her nose as she poured my beer. I have many other choices when it comes to good beer so Mraz will no longer be on my list. If I knew where to report them I would. Still might look into that..

Solid IPAs and excellent sours. Very relaxed place to hang out. The employees are very helpful and friendly, and the regulars are chill. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive for me.

We had a 15 beer flight here. They were very good. I look forward to coming back here. Keep in mind the location was small but we were fortunate enough to get seating. Even if you dont get seating the visit is well worth the trip.

I had the EDH last time I went as it was a very good IPA even though I typically stay away from IPAs. The amber was also very good.Unfortunately they didnt have two of their beers on tap I wanted to try. I think one was a 510 and I cant remember the other. Definitely going to go back to try the rest.

I am a huge beer fan and Mraz makes some great beers. I went there last weekend with a friend who doesnt like beer in the least. It would of been nice if there was a cider or some kind of alternate beverage with alcohol available.Keep up the good work!

Its a gem of a brewery in the Sacramento area. Proves that its not about size, but rather, passion and quality. Had the chance to meet and talk with the Brewmaster, and the owner. Great guys that really love what they do, and it shows.

Garage sale purchased 14 bottles, they didnt give me the 15% off as stated. I had to wait for my receipt email and went back inside and the lady at counter who rung me up incorrectly too busy chit chatting and ignored me. Went into back, they gave me an extra $2 for their huge mistake and my troubles. Definitely lost my business and all my referrals.

Mraz is the place to go for barrel aged sours in the Sacramento area. Nestled a ways off any major freeway, the pint-sized taproom in El Dorado serves up a deceptively large selection of beers. Members of their Barrel Aged club can access exclusive sours before public releases. No food at the taproom, but Mraz is worth a trip if youre interested in expanding your sour beer collection, or your palate.

Great range of beers with an especially good 2X IPA (EDH) and Window of Opportunity barrel fermented blonde/tripel. Small, intimate tap room with good conversation. Beer range and quality reminds me a lot of Sante Adairius in Capitola; both are must visit artisanal breweries. My experience is that crossing the rubicon from home brewer to commercial brewer typically takes most brewers two or more years; Mike Mraz simply stepped over this gulf to instantly become one of our best local brewers.
