2023-10-25 02:17:16We went to Ms. Chi Cafe on a late Tuesday evening and were the last two tables. The food had a fun modern twist on Chinese dishes. The cheeseburger dumplings were surprisingly good and not just gimmicky. The filling was packed and juicy and the tomato-pickle relish sauce was a good acidic balance for the richness of the dumplings. The chili wontons were solid. The walnuts in the honey walnut shrimp dish were so interesting, they were baked into a cookie-like batter. They added slices of peach/nectarine to the dish. The cocktails were fun and punchy. Staff were welcoming and efficient.

2023-06-15 19:14:54Loved Miss Chi! The cheeseburger dumplings were fun and I loved the amount of fresh Dill in the pork dumplings. The Lo mein dish was very pretty but the noodles themselves were kind of bland.

2023-03-12 03:31:09We came for the jumbo cheeseburger potstickers, but the REAL star was the *Lu Rou Mein! It is a beautiful, colorful dish of veggies (fresh and pickled) with pork belly over a bed of thick egg noodles. I would come back just for this! 5/5*True to its name, the potstickers are jumbo and tastes like a cheesebuger lol. Love how the cheese is in the center and melts out when you cut into it. Bacon tomato jam paired well. Overall, it is rich and sits heavy so you only feel like eating one. 4/5*The weekend special housemade scallion pancake was good. On the thicker side, which made it more chewy. Didnt like the accompanying sauces. 3/5*Another weekend special was the Char Shiu bao sliders. These baos were stuffed to the max! The mushroom and pickled carrots were great, but the bbq pork didnt taste quite right and the bao wasnt soft and fluffy. 3/5*The Vietnamese mocha frappe was a bit watered down so it was missing that satisfying strong signature punch. 2/5Service was wonderful. We sat outside in their front patio with our dog. Everyone was so nice and friendly.

2023-01-22 15:26:38Honestly I believe this restaurant is underrated. Clean dining environment, welcoming servers, tasty food, reasonable price. What can I ask more about a restaurant? I saw some negative reviews saying that the food isn’t authentic such as the duck dish. I mean, it’s never advertised as Peking duck so why would you expect it to taste like Peking duck? They are totally different dishes.I recommend the cheeseburger dumplings (mind blowing) and Vietnamese mocha frappe. Other dishes we ordered taste good too. One thing I thought needs improvement is the black sesame donut. It’s a bit too sweet.

2023-08-04 00:50:02Everything is pretty solid here. We’ve tried the cheeseburger dumplings, a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on scallion pancakes, their cold sesame noodles and the tofu salad. It’s impressive. But the thing with this place is that because it’s run by a celebrity chef, everything is just a little too overpriced to justify coming back. If everything was $2-3 cheaper, I would consider coming back here. But $16 for three cheeseburger dumplings is not worth it. Sorry y’all.

2023-02-14 22:55:32I love this place. The food is quality and affordable. The location, great. It is single-diner friendly. The location is great for people watching. Airy and well lit. Also the staff is small but rock solid. Dine in highly recommended.

2023-09-16 22:44:14Everything was delicious! Such nice staff, and even had a Shirley sighting!ETA: taking off a star because the leftovers made me very sick. Went straight home and put them in the fridge, so they should have been fine.

2022-07-07 04:31:24Interesting and good food. Had the Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Hamburger potsticker, Lu Rou Mein, wonton in chili oil, and a Taro Milk Tea.All the food was from good to great. The Taro Milk tea however was a disappointment. With such a large milk tea menu it was surprising to be mediocre at best.Come for the food, not the milk tea.

2023-11-11 00:31:08We came for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. The hostess/waitress could not have been less happy to welcome anyone into the empty restaurant. We ordered the Mala chicken tenders, salt & pepper tots, and pork potstickers. The tenders were unbearably tough and unbelievably salty. Like they were dunked into a vat of salt. The potstickers were uninspired and the sauce was oddly reminiscent of some sort of rubbing alcohol mixed with soy sauce. The only saving grace were the ore-ida tater tots that had a couple scallions tossed in!I really, really wanted to love Ms Chi, so it was a very disappointing experience.
