My granddaughter (9) suggested this place. We ordered a whole pizza and dined in for a slice. To me, a price point of over $35.00 for a pizza is too high with cheese and mushrooms on only half. But for a one-time experience that was good, it was fine. There pies a large. Although they are thin, the ingredients are quality fresh. All the food we saw them making looked good. The service was great. Everyone was friendly. Felt like a good Ole local mom and pop joint. I recommend giving it a try.

Best pizza ever. Cost about $8 bucks for a slice and a soda. I got the fried chicken, ranch with turkey pepperoni (the guy at the counter and I had a good laugh about that, cuz I have never heard of Turkey Pepperoni). So I also added sausage. Best slice of pizza ever.My daughter had her usual pepperoni and finished the entire slice.Highly recommend!!!

Our whole family enjoyed their large pieces of pizza, bowls of pasta and ice-cold drinks so much so we went two days in a row while on our vacation. Super friendly establishment, convenient parking. Theres something for everyone. The ingredients are fresh (artichoke and tomato was my favorite!) and the pizza crust is perfectly crispy. My hubby said its easily the best pizza hes ever had! Oh yeah, and dont miss out on the hugely delicious chocolate chip cookies!

I ordered a half olive/half pepperoni pizza and the half with olives was piled high with cold tasteless olives. Not enjoyable at all and I was sick and nauseous the whole day after. I’ve ordered here a bunch of times before no problem but this time I had a really bad experience and I won’t be back for more unfortunately. Can’t look at black olives the same now.

Small place with friendly workers. I got 3 cheese pizza slices. Each were $5 and pretty big. The dough is really good, firm and cooked well. There isn’t a lot of cheese. But the sauce carries the pizza.

There is a lot of great pizza in L.A. of all kinds. (and a whole lot of mediocre pizza)...but there is only a very small handful of truly spot-on NYC Pizza joints...the ones where the dough is exactly right and its like you just got a slice in Brooklyn...Mulberry Street Pizzeria is one of those places that will not disappoint if youre looking for an authentic NYC slice (or whole pie!)The staff is always friendly, the pizza is flawless.Branch out when youre in a mood and try a rigatoni slice with actual pasta on it...okay maybe that slice isnt off the streets of Manhattan, but its pretty good anyway.There are a few other L.A. places that are just about as good (in terms of NYC style pizza) but, as far as Im concerned, Mulberry Street is the gold standard.I wish theyd open up a shop up here in the Santa Clarita Valley which is kind of a wasteland where pizza is concerned. Theyd own this area so fast.

Best place in southern California for a Brooklyn style pizza. Thin, large foldable slices with tasty tomato sauce and cheese grease.yummy. Not too many places selling authentic Brooklyn style pizzas, so stop by if you truly appreciate them. They sell by the slice or whole pie.I suggest whole pie as its made fresh.add some hot oil as well if you havent tried that before.four locations apparently, so check it out if you get a chance.

The pizza is among the worst Ive ever had in terms of value. More than $5 for a single slice of pizza is exceedingly overpriced, even more so when that slice is paper thin, has no sauce, and has a hard crust. The only slightly redeeming factor is that the employees were fairly kind. But I would not recommend this place AT ALL. Dominos or Costco will give you much better for less.

This is a great pizzeria! Had the spaghetti and meatballs and a slice of pepperoni and sausage pizza to go. Both were absolutely delicious. I wasnt aware of the history of mulberry pizzeria before I visited, but it was really cool seeing all the celebrity clients talking about the pizza here. If you want pizza, I definitely recommend this place!

This place is top notch. Eat in at least once if you never have, because it is a heavenly experience right out of the oven. Its still fantastic at home or the next day, though. Its the dough, I think, that really makes it, probably the best crust I ever ate in my life. Ive also had their ravioli, and it was simple but fantastic, which is surprising because usually the pasta at pizza places is only so so. Their tomato sauce is super nice.

I could feel it from the minute the first box was opened - this is the kind of pizza that gets the people going.Its a little expensive for this style of pizza (its thin crust, NYC, pizza by the slice vibes) - but the ingredients are so good, the pizza is so well made, its absolutely worth it. Not impressed. Actually turned off now. Ordered the pizza wanting to try a new place. They said 15-20 min. We came in that time, picked it up and drove home (5min). The pizza was ice cold. The price for this pizza was ridiculously high, especially for the quality. I’ve never paid so much for pizza. The crust was very hard and not edible, we threw the crusts out. The taste was just so so. I do not recommend this pizza. There are much better pizza places in the area, and for much less.

Like thin New York style pizza? They make really good ones. Always have a half dozen varieties or more and other food. New York Post newspapers (todays) always on counter and tables adds to vibe. Used to be five stars but the pizza has gotten almost impossibly thin- still tasty and great crust-and a bit pricey.

For the price, you get a lot of pizza. Its fresh and very good, but nothing absolutely spectacular. The pasta is good as well, but again, nothing you couldnt get anywhere else. My partner and I ate a slice of nearly every specialty pizza on the menu. The young man working at the shop was super friendly, and got us our slices quickly. They were perfectly hot and utterly delicious. We sat together occasionally throwing out expletives about how amazing each slice was. From the perfectly herbaceous and fresh pesto to the monster cookie I foolishly ordered two of, everything was fantastic. It’s truly the closest thing to the New York pizza I miss that I’ve tasted in LA. Excellent work.I highly recommend this spot.

Being a New Yorker in California can be tough. Many spots say they have NYC authentic pizza but most dont actually live up to the standard. The pizza pies were the right size, thin crust and perfect tomato and marinara sauces. Also this is the first place that had a true Sicilian slice with the puffed up layer and mozo cheese in a rectangular slice. 10/10 for me.

Sorry I cant give this a five star as a couple of things dont sit right for me. First, its too thin and I Id like to sate that I grew up in NYC and I have had pizza in all five boroughs and I cant remember ever having pizza that thin. Secondly the crust is certainly nothing to rave about. And lastly, paying $4.65 for a relatively small and very thin slice is a bit much! Where this pizza does hold up is the sauce, really good and memorable! I have had slices at both the Encino location and the Sherman Oaks location and every time, (I would say a minimum of half a dozen times), its the same so there is consistency and unfortunately that thin every time. For NYC style pizza there is better in town but Mulberry does at least hold up because of their sauce. For the record, Ive been eating NYC style pizza for over fifty years.

I see the reviews but dont get the hype. Way overpriced and nothing special about the pizza. Single/small slice of pepperoni is $5 and their Cesar salad that consisted of a cup and half of lettuce, 4 croutons (at least in my serving) and a few spoons of dressing for $6 dollars is excessively overpriced. Ive had pies from franchise spots that taste better. Wish i would have had a better experience to write about but it wasnt.

Mulberry is the best slice in LA. Each one is exactly the same, perfectly proportioned, just-right thickness, deep and not-too-sweet sauce, unobtrusive but savory cheese. This slice doesnt need toppings, and if you get any, youll realize theyre just distractions.Once youve had a slice here, youll think of course. thats what Pizza is supposed to be, and every other slice in this city will be ruined for you. Mulberry Street Pizza has been my favorite pizza since I was a child ans my dad introduced me to it in Encino CA. they then opened up one in Sherman Oaks and now I live walking distance from this location. I just recently came and got a pepperoni and sliced meatball pizza and I think I may have a new favorite aside from classic pepperoni. They even now.habe gluten free option and vegan options which accommodates my wifes dietary sensitivities, which I definitely tried then definitely finished haha. Just a wonderful New York Style pizza place that serves Hungry Man sized pizza slides and reminds me of a mom a pop type pizza shop. Looking forward to when I can eat inside again with my wife and new daughter (as soon as she can eat pizza!)

No other pizza place in LA does the Sicialian pie quite like Mulberrys. Whenever I bring someone with me that didnt grow up with the Sicilian, they always respond with its just a deep dish until after they try it themselves and realize its anything but that. It was more than enough for two ppl to share and was beautifully presented.When I arrived there wasnt street parking so I parked out back in the lot designated for the bank. Wouldnt suggest such a thing especially during high foot traffic times seeing as there were multiple signs threatening to tow.Service was great! Mmm pizza!! The slices are large and inexpensive. They offer unique flavors such as buffalo chicken, lasagna, and chicken parmesan, but they’re traditional flavors are excellent too. This is a counter-style pizza place that offers a selection of thin crust pizza. The actual restaurant is similar to anything you would expect out of a NY pizzaeria. A counter, a few tables with a couple of chairs, an older TV playing some kind of sport on ESPN3. My rating is mostly because of the pizza. This pizza is probably the thinnest pizza I have ever experienced and for some that might be a good thing but not for me. It honestly felt that the grease weighed more than pizza. If you love thin pizza this is the place for you, but if not I wouldnt recommend it.

This was our first time eating here and we just happened upon it. We sat at the counter and order a couple of slices of pizza and split a salad. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly! I cant wait to go back!

Why would any eat here. First, its swelteringly hot. Who wants to eat in an uncomfortable environment? AND, the food is bland at best. Had two kinds of pizza (cheese and sausage) and spaghetti and meatballs, bland. Huge portion of pasta w two small (not ave size, small) meatballs. Would never go there again.

I was sitting at the counter having pizza; one of the guys working there was cleaning uncooked chicken breast with bare hands and no gloves. I asked for my bill. He just put the knife down and without washing hands, rang me up at register, took my bills, gave me change and went back to clean chicken without washing his hands.
