Muskaan Indian Cuisine in Bakersfield

This is a newly opened restaurant and is definitely going to bring “Muskan” on your faces.We had buffet and the dishes were limited but were delicious.In starter they had pakodas and tandoori chicken(which I felt sud b a bit spicier).In main course they had couple of veg and non veg options.We tried chicken manchurian,butter chicken, chicken curry with garlic naan.We also tried dal but it was ok not that great if you are fond of dal makhni.Lastly, we had Gajar ka halwa and rice pudding which were really nice.Only problem I felt is they need to have good fly catcher installed as they had flies inside and it was really irritating.Overall good place to try Indian food.

Im kind of a biryani fiend; so Im always looking for new places to try out their biryani. So far, Kellys Tandoori Grill has the better biryani.The biryani of Muskaan is definitely perfumed with spices and the onions, but for some reason it just lacks punch or kind of fails to stand out. It was kind of bland as well, so I had to add salt to it.The truly standout star was the naan. The naan was crispy and had a nice chew as well.Service was inviting and very helpful. Even though my food experience was a bit lackluster, I still encourage people to tryout this place to support new, growing businesses in Bakersfield.

Was looking forward to trying this place out when I saw them doing construction. Popped in today with the kid and was not disappointed. Out of the other three Indian cuisines we’ve gone to this was by far our favorite. We had the buffet and when at the other places my son didn’t even finish one plate he went back for seconds here. The naan bread is the best I’ve had between here locally and LA. There wasn’t one thing on the buffet that disappointed me. Check out the pictures and come try this place. The chef came out to check on us and found out he has 30 years of experience and it shows. Can’t wait to try the Chinese options as well as some of the lamb dishes! Will be back!!

Seen this place,drove by alot of times and finaly decided to stop by and try...Very impressed food is good must try! Will and have allready started to recommend

This place looks very nice inside, the food is great and they have fantastic service even for to go orders I can tell this place will be a regular for me they gave me water while I waited for my food

Don’t walk guys run!!! This place is wonderful although I didn’t like the location of this restaurant, but the food is amazing in this whole town and from all other Indian restaurants. My server was Jasmine, she gave me some nice choices and recommended some best dishes. She was so sweet and nice. A+ plus for her ;). Music is very nice and light on the back. I tried the Chicken tikka roll, Chinese fried rice and Chicken korma. Best! Best! Best! Flavors were on top. I recommend this place to try out.

HIDDEN GEM IN BAKERSFIELD California, This restaurant is family owned and they are just LOVELY. Their portion sizes are MASSIVE and delicious food makes this restaurant very much worth it … staff super friendly.

Really good food I recommend it’s a pretty big place

Went here with 2 of my friends, the food was excellent! I ordered the Paneer Makhani, and it was incredible. The restaurant was beautiful and clean, and the staff was attentive, and very nice. Would definitely visit again.
