Food was delicious. We got a large spicy galbi jim combo which came with two soups and rice. We had plenty of food along with the banchan for a group of 4. The galbijim could have had more meat but it was so delicious. My friends had been there before and said they preferred the soy to the spicy.I’ll be back!

My friends and I got food poisoning about 36 hours after eating here and we were vomiting for 2 days😭 It was the only place we ate from in common and we all started feeling sick the day after. Food is good but i’m not sure about the cleanliness.

The braised short rib here is amazing. They really know how to cook traditional Savory Korean dishes here. People are really friendly and theres plenty of parking in the back. I would say this is one of the best Korean restaurants in the valley.

Right : fried rice- up: #8 (ox knee and beef brisket)-down: #11 (spicy beef tofu). Star of the show : literally all of them. Fried rice so flavourful and amazing (could be just a little less oily). The amount of spice was awesome in all of the dishes. Side dishes were amazing and a lot of variety. Specially the picked onion. Definitely gonna be our spot for authentic Korean cuisine. Deducted 1 star only and only bcz of staff; not so welcoming and friendly.

Tasty Korean dishes such as Bugogi and Kalpi. The sides were all delicious and when we asked for a box, the waitress was kind enough to give us some free kimchee to go. This would have been a 5, but there was only one waitress for a full dinner crowd.

My favorite Korean restaurant in the valley. I always get their yukkaejang, kimchi jun, galbi, and naengmyun. Recommend all of them. They also have beer (terra) and soju. Excellent service too! Lots of parking in the back.

In brevity: I won’t come here again.There are other Korean spots in LA with food equally as good as Musse’s and with more KIND customer service. Musse food is good, 9/10, but the staff lady is VERY rude and not kind.I will take my business elsewhere.

I was craving a soup and stumbled across this place. After reading all the reviews everyone seemed to like the “Gamjatang”. Which is a spicy red potato beef stew, So glad I picked this soup up it was delicious. I feel like I will coming here a lot and trying new dishes.

We had dinner at Musse last night. It was not busy only four tables customer, service was friendly and quick. The menu is pretty much the same as our favorite Korean food Sunnongdan (but nearest spot is in K town which is a long drive and line, busy traffic etc). Cold dishes were good (noodles and radish especially), ordered their special pot, regular size for 48.99, came with soup and two rices. I have to say taste was good but meat quality was not as good as Sunnongdan. Overall it’s the best Korean place in the valley and we have options now.

Musse has some of the best Korean food Ive ever had here in LA. The soup was super flavorful and had plenty of meat and really good portion size. Came with banchan & rice. The beef bulgogi had great flavor. Customer service was amazing, the lady who took my order and gave me my food was so sweet. Since Im a local, Ill def be back. Finally some authenctic Korean food in the valley!

Wow!!! Yuksu Bulgogi soup was excellent. Price $39.99 a little pricy but will for sure feed a solid 3 big eaters might have to add small bowl or two of rice. TLDR: foul server ladySTORY TIMEI came with my family for a pleasant meal with 5 adults and 2 babies (ages 2 and 3). We ordered the yukgaejang (large portion), bibimbap (for 2), and soondubu. To our surprise, the server lady responded with Tsk! Theres 7 people order 3 things?? Oh my goddd... rolling her eyes and muttering something under her breath in Korean as she walked away.Major side eye. I dont know where to start with this. This is an example of some big brained short-ranged thinking because I regularly order food from here and youre losing future business from me.Learn some manners and be a professional. Take the order and keep your stupid comments to yourself.Not to mention the comment was nonsense. We ordered enough food for 5 adults and 2 of the 7 people are BABIES.I was not aware that patronizing a restaurant required ordering a huge feast or else get scoffed at by the wait staff.Further, I understand that the menu states 18% gratuity will be added to parties of 6 or more. How about use a little bit of sense when counting babies? Guess she wanted to secure that bag because that attitude wouldve cost her the tip. The whole experience is giving *money grubbing*I loved this restaurant and actually was taking my brother and his wife to try it. What a wonderful first experience for them. I had been to this restaurant several times when my son was only a newborn because i would take him with me. Now 4 years later since the weather had been super cold was in the mood for some soup. I saw a new item that had caught my attention and it was extremely delicious. So i keep coming back due to weather vibes and i love to rant to my husband how i love my Yanggi soup and my korean ladies ❤️❤️ they are so adorable and sweet. One of the under rated Korean places in Reseda Blvd. It’s our first time here ordering take out. I didn’t know what to order so the owner suggested #7. I’m glad I did. It’s really good and I wish we tried this place long time ago before the lock down. Will definitely go back here again. I’ve lived in this area for 11 years. I didn’t know they had parking in the back.

There are several Korean restaurants in the valley but some are just ok. This one is not bad. We had the Korean pancakes and the spicy beef soup and it was good. Of course I like all their side dishes as well. They have more parking in the back of the restaurant. When you can’t make it to Korean town then this place is ok.

I been here twice, first time was dine in, food was good, service was so so(cold face grandma that you will see in other restaurants too), i would rate 3 start for that. The second time i called for pickup. Was told over the phone will take 15min. I get there(25min after call)and was told 3 min still cooking. I understand they maybe busy sometime(though look at the restaurant not many people dine in or takeout either) so i wait and wait, for 15 min. Then i talked to the staff about my food, and said it has been 40min since ordered. The grandma didn’t even look at me and said “not ready” with a very impatient tone and just straightly walk away. I didn’t get my order and just left. I would give 0 or minus score if i can. And really while i was waiting for that 15min a korean lady walked in and ordered something, 5-10min later her food was ready. Guess you need to speak korean to get a good service in this restaurant

The inside is very cozy and homelike. I ordered the beef soon tofu soup. It was delicious and quite a big portion. It came with white rice and the mini sides. All were delicious and the tofu soup was very flavorful. I loved it, I will definitely be coming back again.

I am sad to be rating this one star, because I was very excited to try the food here for the first time. I came here with my family, and I ordered the budae jjigae. However, my food didnt come come out until about 30 minutes after my familys food came out, and they were basically finished eating already. Im not sure if this dish just takes longer to come out, or if I just came on an off day, but it made the experience very poor. I was just starting to eat while my family was already done eating. It felt very awkward being the only one eating at the table, and I felt like I needed to rush because my food came out so late.Also, the staff werent very hospitable. They never really checked on the table if we needed anything. I noticed that they didnt check on any table unless they were waved down. The only time we saw the staff was when they took the order, gave the food, and gave the bill. The rest of the time, they were just talking to each other in the front of the restaurant.To actually rate the food though, I think the budae jjigae was decent. Not great, but not necessarily bad. Just definitely not worth the price and the wait. Im not sure if the experience worsened the flavor for me, but its something I dont see myself ordering from here again.If you want a place where youre eating with your family or friends, maybe this isnt the best place to go to. You may find yourself getting your food much later than the others and eating alone while everyone else is waiting for you. Halfway decent food plus a negative experience and lack of helpful staff makes for an overall negative rating from me.

Was I this unlucky?A few weeks ago I had the misfortune of dining at Musse with my family. We had never been here before, and decided to try it out on the account of many good reviews online. As we enter, were greeted by a relatively quiet but undoubtedly authentic Korean restaurant. The server attending to us that night was so Korean that she struggled to understand our English, and there were other Korean customers we could hear in the background. Unfortunately, the pricing is also quite typical of many Korean restaurants in that it is on the higher end. Many of the items featured on the menu--alas not visible online as of the time Im writing this review--easily broke the $40 price point for no compelling reason.Lets talk about the food. We ordered a Hot Dolsot Bibimbap, one of the beef noodle soups, and two beef bone soups. Im going to be honest and mention that I dont recall exactly which beef soups we ordered, but it actually doesnt matter.As it turns out, absolutely none of the soups we ordered had taste. Visually everything looked alright. The beef cuts looked quite appealing. But the soup broth and everything in the soup, appealing beef cuts included, tasted like boiled water. We are extremely sure we did not have COVID-19, as we could taste the bibimbap--the only thing that kept us from losing our minds. The bibimbap, by the way, was about average. Nothing much to write about there.Was the chef sick? The ingredients cursed? An incredibly unlucky day for us? I dont know what the case is this time, but I have never, in the entirely of my life, been served completely tasteless food at a restaurant. No less a restaurant with such proud pricing. It could very well be the 1 day out of the year that they fail to serve tasty food, but I cannot, in good faith, give any more than a single star for this place based on my experience eating here.

Very nice Korean restaurant. I ordered the Bulgogi beef soup lunch special. Was surprised by the amount of sides that came with it. Even more surprised that these sides also had free refills included which I did not see mentioned in the menu. The soup was delicious and the beef was not too chewy but just enough to make it enjoyable. The glass noodles were also nice alongside the noodles in the soup. Overall enjoyable experience at this place.

Been searching for great Tofu Soondubu and Musse doesnt disappoint! I ordered the Beef but the chef made the seafood one by accident so I asked if they could just add pieces of beef... absolutely delicious! The LA Gaibi was yummy too. Little pricier than K-Town but worth it. I normally dont eat the kimchi at Korean restaurants but its really tasty here. Our server was running around doing everything because they are understaffed but she was still very pleasant and attentive. Cant wait to go back!

I was expecting to find my favorite Pho place in the valley, but low and behold, it changed to Musse. It is Korean restaurant. They have soups, which are EXCELLENT. The oxtail is so delicious you wont ever order anything else, but you should. The spicy short ribs are not to be missed. They serve Korean BBQ in family style meals. The portions are generous and the wait staff is incredibly friendly. They dont hesitate to answer any questions about the menu and sincerely want you to enjoy your experience. Great place for family dinning or alone.

The best korean food in greater LA! Why go to Koreatown when the best Korean food ever is located here in the valley?The owners of this place are very very very nice! They treat you with respect, the hospitality is world-class. I’m not joking!During covid-19 where everybody’s eating outside, he’ll bring you a space heater so it’ll keep you comfortable and warm during winter days.And don’t ask me about the food! They were so unfriendly! They were talking to me in English so I replied back in English. Seemed like the waitress didnt understand so I talked in Korean. Then she gave me an attitude. Wow... Awful service. Theyre supposed to ask soy or spicy and then ask for the spicy level. They never did. Too spicy to eat. This isnt edible. When its too ignorantly spicy, you cant taste any other flavor than the heat from all the heat spices. Maybe I should just drive out to Ktown LA because it seems like most Korean restaurants in the valley have an attitude problem, especially towards Koreans. A lunch date with my daughter has been ruined. Were looking to find a nearby restaurant other than this place so we can eat lunch.

Updated review: I used to love this place, but just had a really bad experience that brings the review to 1-star. I placed an order for pickup with one item and was told it’ll be ready in 15 minutes, when I arrived 30 minutes after, they told me it’s not ready, n I sat for another 5 minutes while they ran around serving eat-in customers and still was told “not ready”. I feel very disappointed that the ready time is totally off and they don’t make an effort to serve customers in the order of its received, let alone kept telling me it’s not ready. Perhaps they don’t care for take outs which they should let customers know. Previously a 4-star review: No longer Pho Bac! This is now a Korean restaurant that serves authentic Korean bone soup with different cuts of meat. I love their milky colored soup made from hours of extraction of beef bones, super tasty! I can tell a good broth by keeping it in the refrigerator overnight, and if it turns into jello texture...that means the broth is full of goodness like collagen, calcium, protein etc, and this does!!! If you crave for some real good hot soup or recovering from cold/flu, definitely give it a try! Parking is at the back of the store. O, do use their sea salt for soup seasoning. Yummy!

I was unable to order ahead as phone was not properly hung up (I told an employee when I got to the restaurant. She checked and said phone was not properly hung up). I tried their lunch special spicy galbijim (shortrib) for $18.99 and yukgaejang (spicy soup with beef) $12. The best part of this meal was their side dishes. Kimchi and japchae was good. Galbijim had too much potatoes and rice cake was so overcooked that it bursted. It is not spicy at all. Galbi flavor was good though, not too sweet. Yukgaejang was too greasy and watery. They do give you an option of white rice or mixed grain rice.I did see a lady going back and forth from outdoor serving area to the kitchen. It must be hard for her to work alone.

The food is okay, but every time I eat here, the initial service is shockingly horrendous. There was an older male server who gave us an attitude and raised his voice at us when we were ordering. This place is great. Everything Ive gotten from this place has so far came with ban chan (Korean side dishes); kimchi, bean sprouts, etc. Just the ban chan alone is great. The pork bulgogi is amazing here. My girlfriends favorite is the beef bulgogi. I didnt know we could get great Korean food in the valley until me and my girlfriend came here. Also the cold noodles here are amazing for the summer time.

We ordered the Non-Spicy kalbi jjim- 갈비찜 and it was excellent. Juicy and tender throughout including meat attached to the bone. The sweetness is pervasive through the whole dish including rice cakes and potatoes. I will give 5 stars once I have the spicy version to which my co-diners couldn’t have...the rice is served in stone bowl so portions are limited. Meat plus rice = heaven! The ban chan is also good especially spicy radish. Yum!

Best Korean food this side of Seoul. I haven’t had Korean food this flaverful and authentic outside of Korea. The kimchee was out of this world, lots of texture not overly fermented, just right. I highly recommend the Galbijin. Huge chunks of braised rib, potatoes and rice cake all swimming in a delicious chili sauce. We were looking for dukbokki and our hostess steered us to the galbijin. Same flavors as in dukbokki, Rice cake but with bone in short rib and potato added in. Also, the pickled radish was phenomenal! It was a little on the sweeter side with just a pinch of chili. Typically it is prepared a bit more on the tart/ bitter side but I loved this variation. I had this style ONLY once defore in a little open market stall near Pyeongtaek. Looking for this for over 20years....found it. Lastly, the service was fantastic. The food came out quickly and in multiple courses, starting with rice, kimchee, bean sprout in sesame oil, noodles and pickled reddish. The main course was reallly generous. The hostesses were very pleasant and attentive, coming by numerous times to make sure everything was ok. Next time I’m thinking boys night with lots of bulgogi and soju.

Place has friendly and fast service. It is also cheap and they dont skimp out on anything. If there is not enough noodles, you can get extra for only one dollar so cheap! Definitely my favorite and best place to get pho.

The Pho was exceptional. I think its bc I frequent my other pho places so much that the pho and broth just seem bland already. I need to expand my pho restaurants. This place was recommended me to my good friend and non-related brother. He said that the best pho places when bringing your pho dish will provide a small bowl of soup with green onions. Its sort of like an extra ummph of flavor to your pho broth. I have no idea what that is, but when I had told a friend of mine in Fresno...he knew what it was and was astound that I knew about it. All thanks to my buddy... andy. So, pho is the best. I think what needs work is the tendon. Hello! I love tendon, and the tendon was insufficient. There was just a slice of tendon. Cmon now! The drinks I had ordered was ice tea and that was pretty satisfying. The spring rolls werent that great. I didnt try the dessert, but it was mung bean dessert. I was too full from the pho and spring rolls. I didnt try the bahn mi, because I already have a to-go place for that. I might try the rice vermicelli bowls next time, but definitely craving some pho!!!!

Im so happy this pho spot is down the street from me. The pho and food is great and the staff is very friendly. Something im not use to at pho restaurants. Something I didnt expect the first time i went is they give you free small bowl of sweet soup. Very yummy.
