Ordered roast chicken rice for takeout. A styrofoam container was used and I guess they placed the food in while it was super hot, which led to melted styrofoam on the meat. Would recommend they use paper packaging.

I went in Monday to place a to go order egg noodles separate soup. First impression of the noodle looked pink and it smell like vinegar ..I took a first bite and it was sour ..Ive never had experience with any other Vietnamese restaurant ordering this particular items but this restaurant made it different ..went back in and said this is the correct item I ordered . The lady said ok, Ill change it for you . Then she asked if I ate it already ? I said I took a bite thats I know it taste awful ..she then said I cant change it for you because you ate it . I paid $14 for this meal..I left mad never will I return bad service ..Im not sure if they were going to resell it if I hadnt ate.

Friendly and quick service. Theyve got a huge selection of Vietnamese cuisine like broken rice, pho, vermicelli, etc. Free drinks too with a couple selections. I like their broken rice the most and their steamed tiny rice stick thing with egg rolls. To me the egg rolls are great, they may look smaller than a typical stuffed egg roll, but something about it makes me enjoy theirs the most. My family and I have been coming here since forever. I like staring at their fish in the aquarium.

Excellent! Surprisingly good. Real authentic Vietnamese food in this area. Prices are very reasonable. It’s at least $1 cheaper than others around this area. There are plenty of parking in the back. They have all kids of dishes ranging from rice to noodles to Pho.This is my next favorite restaurant!

Inexpensive pho and always good food.May not greet you like a fancy restaurant but solid good food.Great for a quick bite or with friends.Not for romantic dinner.

I had been looking for a new Vietnamese food restaurant to try, when I decided to check this place out. The service was fast, and everyone was generally nice and pleasant. The food was very good as well, and the price was more than fair. Overall I enjoyed my experience and will definitely come again.

My god! What happened to this place?! It used to be my go-to spot for pho and now its gone downhill so badly. I walked in here with my mom for lunch and there wasnt a customer in sight. We were seated at a booth and ordered our usual seafood pho and egg rolls but nothing tasted the same anymore. The pho was so watered down and they started skimping on the amount of meat and ingredients they used to add inside. The crispy fried egg rolls are now stale and tasted old. We didnt even bother finishing it after taking a couple bites. Overall, everything tasted off and I dont think Ill be coming back, especially since theres so many other pho options nearby.

I grew up eating at this place because it was next to my fathers warehouse. For a few years it was pricey and good was just so so then recently they had a change of cooks and now everything is delicious again. Im a fan of there broken rice dishes.

Always remember during the COVID 19 pandemic, they were the first Vietnamese restaurant in San Gabriel Valley brave enough to open for dine in, while still following strict social distancing guidelines.

The price is good, and when its made well, it tastes good, but sometimes the quality is inconsistent. The cooked beef in Locomotive Beef Noodles is often kept in the refrigerator for too long after being cooked, and has often deteriorated.
