Such an amazing family ran sandwhich shop. All of their sandwiches are so tasty and you can tell made with love. They are close to Mt.SAC which makes this MY FAVORITE LUNCH SPOT!!

When you walk in to a new spot and just tell them to give you something memorable and you like everything and they look at you with happiness, that a great fing sign. I cant say how much it bothers me when a place gets frustrated when you say that. These people are in love with what they do and how they do it.I got the Joes special which is a pastrami on steroids. One of the best sandwiches Ive ever had.

Im a local truck driver, and I happened to take a 30 minute break just down the street from My Lunch Spot. I was hungry and I needed a restroom, so I went to their sandwich shop. The restroom was only for employees, which I totally understand, but when the owner learned that I was a truck driver (and very hungry 😋), she was more than happy to let me use their restroom. She was so nice about it, explaining to me that her Mom has some health issues, which is the main reason she limits the people using the facilities. I agreed with her wanting to exercise caution to avoid exposing her Mom, yet she still allowed me to use their facilities. I also ordered a turkey and cranberry sandwich, and it was delicious and fresh. This place is a hidden gem that is run by the nicest people Ive met in my local travels!
I was craving a good sandwich. Not a fan of the chain sub shops. So I googled pastrami sandwiches and My Lunch Spot was the closest non-chain stores. Im not familiar with the area, but found it easily. Ample parking. Do pay attention to posted sign on the door that says use the side entry. Dont be that guy tugging on a locked door and knocking. (Gave me a nice chuckle for the day). Super friendly. Excellent sandwich. Bread was soft and fluffy. Nice menu variety. Maybe they should consider a horchata machine??LOL That would be a nice change up in beverage options

This is living good if you spend a lot of time in industrial parks. Food is excellent, staff is friendly, location is freeway close. Highly recommended.
The food here is excellent with the best sandwiches I have ever tasted in my whole life. One, I would recommend would definitely be the pastrami with its delicious sauce! The area in general is nice, and makes you feel at home and ready to eat!

It’s usually busy here during lunch time so be prepared to wait a bit. Overall an excellent sandwich shop in the community. Great service - they make you feel welcomed and at home. Will definitely be back! These are also the perfect sandwiches to bring on picnics too :)
Ive been coming here since it was Charlies Sandwich Shop and they never disappoint. If you want a huge sandwich and chips for under $10 this is your place; I literally split this into two meals. Great prices, great portions and amazing service. Support our local businesses 😊

I think this may be one of the best beef dip sandwiches I have had. Au Jus can make or break a beef dip, and this au jus helps to make it. Aside from the food, the service is outstanding. Give this place a try.

It was my second time i went in to this place and ordered an albacore tuna cold sandwich and it was delicious. I came back because the chicken salad sandwich i ordered the first time was so fresh and really a home made quality with amazing taste. For those of you who live and work around the area, i highly recommend you to try and visit this place, you will not regret it! Once again, breakfast is only until 10:30am

2023-07-27 14:46:34In the proprietors response, she stated that breakfast hours are on the menu board. While this may be true, I was 7 miles away from their menu board and looking at their place on the interwebs.There was no threat of any kind. I just stated fact thats what I doWent to go get a breakfast sandwich and and upon arrival I was notified they dont do breakfast after 10:00 a.m. but its not posted in their hours or anywhere on their website.

I get the veggie on squaw bread and my husband gets the grilled chicken breast on wheat roll and we’re always super happy and satisfied with our orders.I love that the veggie comes jam packed with so many vegetables. They especially don’t skimp on avocado and the hard boiled egg is a nice touch. We are happy repeat customers and love how friendly and helpful the mother-daughter team running this place are.

2023-09-25 17:54:01The breakfast sandwiches is why I came, but sadly missed it by a few minutes 10:42 am. The board clearly stated the cut off time so no argument there. Its a small mom/pop family setting here at My Lunch spot. Almost feels like everyone working behind the counter is related and working hard together as one unit getting these orders out. Didnt ask, but it felt like daughter, mom and grandma was back there getting these sandwiches ready. If thats the case, Im a fan just of that alone. I ordered club sandwich, flaming hot freetos (nobody ever has these chips, THANKS) and a large Dr Pepper. It tasted great, almost like if my mom had just made me the sandwich. Appreciate finding this small Gem in Diamond Bar/Walnut.

I got what they call mushroom and cheese on sourdough.... Excellent but messy. And that is not even mentioning the super nice staff and owner

2023-05-01 21:59:37This place is an actual Goldmine. The people here are wonderful. You get greeted with a smile from everybody as you walk in. Now let’s talk about their food. It’s absolutely delicious. The cranberry sauce turkey is a must try. It’s always a steak sandwich. There’s a lot of meat in there and you won’t go wrong!!! chicken noodle soup is actually home made not attend or Store but you can tell by the texture. Everything was grilled her to perfection and sautéed deliciously to its perfection. This place is ran by the granddaughter who helps out the grama! She’s very bubbly very humble very nice. The place is clean and tidy get here early because they do run out because everything’s made a fresh. Thank you kindly!!
