2024-05-20 17:41:32I visited this area to attend my sons graduation. My wife and I happened to stop by this Korean restaurant by chance and we were really pleased to find this place. We ordered a traditional style Korean food such as Bibimbob and spicy calamari. The quality of food was awesome and the service was more than expected. Not only main dishes, side dishes were also very nice. I highly recommend this place if you have not tried.

2022-08-25 16:40:31Nice mom and pop Korean restaurant. I got the Seafood pancake, fried chicken and beef stew. I wish the fried chicken had half orders, but its one size fits all. Come hungry because these portions are huge.

2023-11-14 04:32:52What a hole in the wall. We ordered the beef kimbap, gan-jang chicken, and the yang nyum chicken with a side of rice. All 3 dishes were amazing. This is a very heavy meal for two, so Id suggest adding 2 to your table for this type of order!Best part was that you can reload the banchan (sides) two times! Service on a Monday night was tricky, although empty, youll have to get someones attention by walking up to the counter. Everything was great anyway.

2023-07-15 04:28:01We came on a Friday evening and it was half full and BTS on the TV screen. Very family friendly. The food is top notch. Ordered the short rib and fried chicken (soy garlic and regular). Wow everything wasadd very well.I eat a lot of short rib and this was marinated well. The fried chicken was nice and crisy. Soy garlic was our favorite. The service was good and the gentleman serving us was so kind! We will definitely be back!

2023-03-25 16:16:03Probably the most valuable tofu house in the Newark area! The owner was a really funny guy that made every customer laugh. The food was really good— the tofu soup was flavorful, and the seared pork belly was spot on!

2023-11-21 06:53:4311/2024 Update: I think the recipes changed again. I like it more than what my 2022 review would suggest but I think the original was still better. I would give this place a 3.5 star but not quite a 4.Ive been coming here since they opened. Sadly, as of September 2022, there is new management. The menu is largely the same but the recipes are largely different.I think it is still OK but not as great as it once was.

2024-04-08 20:18:40Fantastic family-run fusion restaurant. Although they mainly focus on Korean style eats here, you can also find ramen and masubi on their menu. This Mom-n-Pop shop has the best customer service - the couple who runs it are extremely attentive and kind. You can taste the care they have transfused into their food. After my first visit here a week ago, I came back again the following day with more friends. Everything weve ordered has been delicious and filling, with generous portions and excellent flavor. Theres plenty of parking in the large lot. Dine in or take out, you will not be disappointed!

2022-02-28 13:03:19Based on order. 4.5 stars. Not sure what we got, but it was very tasty per my family to whom has grown acquainted with what is good food and not so good. Let’s get 2 it. Excellent tasting soup. “Dumpling soup tasted fresh like a home made grandmas soup”. A family of 5 we just live to order. Tteok-bokki was tasty with chewy rice cakes . The soy garlic fried chicken was nice and crunchy . Way better than our nations Jolly B’s. The kimchi pancake was ok but I think that’s cause I didn’t get it until everyone had eaten half. Now the service was absolutely grandmas kitchen . Bless her . She was everyone’s grandma that lunch. She was the best. Very thoughtful and stopped by like family. We all agree. A place to try Korean foodie. As always post wherever your palate takes you. P.S. get there early .

2019-09-16 18:46:34Everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was good they gave us pitchers for our large group; the food came out timely, and the portions were large. ORDER THE SEAFOOD PANCAKE. - 1, it’s huge 2, it’s delicious. Most made their own bento box, I went w/ the Yakisoba noodle which I didn’t expect to be sweet? I’ve never had it but it was good. The chicken wasn’t great, but standard for price. I would go back - it was $20 a person which included appetizers and everyone got an entree.
