My Thai Cuisine in Ripon

This place is average. The pad Thai was too sweet and had a flavor that was very odd. Maybe too much hoisin sauce or too much sauce in general. I wouldnt suggest the angel wings either. The chicken tasted old either made the night before or freezer burn. Left the wings on the table, not worth it. Maybe next time Ill try the curry.

I have been here once before and liked it. So thought Id give it another go. I had pot stickers and Tom Yum Gai soup.The pot stickers were good, but not very hot when they came out. Almost cold. The flavor was good and the chili lime soy sauce was great for dipping.The soup wasnt that great. The veggies seemed uncooked completely. Like they were just thrown in and served. Some I could not even chew, making them inedible. The chicken was very chewy. Overcooked. The broth didnt have much flavor. So I added the rest of my soy sauce from the pot stickers and that made it better.Service was very good and friendly. I was greeted right away, drinks right away.Price was a little high. $28 for a small soup, small appetizer, and drink. $34 with tip.The best part was the Thai Iced Tea. Awesome!

Food was great, atmosphere and interior were so so, what really put me off was the lack of attention from server. We were fine with it, as long as we received everything, but our bill was 87. They charged us 103, and we had a tip of 10 dollars. Now why would you think it’s a good idea to up your tip when you already got over 10%? Why even do that when you know you didn’t give good service? Not even asking for a refund, just will never go there again.

Beautiful restaurant, good service and great food. The Thai tea was out of this world. Everything was fresh and we definitely will be coming back here.

While coming back from Yosemite, we decided to go with Thai food and we stopped here. The food was great.Panang curry could have been thicker. Servant was kind and had a pleasant welcoming smile. Good Thai themed ambience. Decent prices, overall experience was great.

This place is a total rip off!! I was told they dont serve lunch size portions on a Saturday, that I had to order the entree. The hostess acted haughty and condesending.I ordered a red curry with chicken and a Thai Iced tea. I was asked if I wanted rice. I asked if it came with the curry, she said no. What!!? What kind of an Asian restaurant doesnt serve rice with a curry? Modesto, California is not Beverly Hills. (Ripon is basically a suburb of Modesto)What I received was 16oz of a very red runny liquid with some vegetables and a little bit of chicken. A 10oz plastic to go cup of Thai tea. The cup was half full of ice.. Their tea tasted watered down and they put in too much sweet cream. WaBa has way better Thai tea!The curry tastes mediocre. The vegetables were crunchy. Its like they just tossed raw vegetables into the runny sauce and served it that way. Ive had better service and food elswhere. Wal-Marts/Ralphs/Vons deli soups are the same size, taste better and less expensive. Dont waste your hard earned money coming here.I was charged $20 for this? Never again!! This place is not worth the money they charge.

My Thai Cuisine in Ripon is very good. Been here a couple of times now and the food is delicious and presented nicely. I wish the curry was actually a little thicker but it has plenty of flavor. The other dish we had was Pad See Ew with Tofu which like all the other dishes that I have tried are very fresh.The gentleman that waited on us (I think possibly the owner) was friendly and very attentive even with a pretty full restaurant. Definitely worth a trip is you are craving Thai food. I will be back.

I had ordered a chicken curry with white rice; Tom Yum Kha Ga; and egg rolls. The curry was super salty with tons of sodium and MSG to mask the unfreshness. Luckily I was near the toilet to release my diarrhea while I was in my La Quinta room nearby after meal. The Tom Yum is also super salty with MSG through the roof. Only decent tasting item was the egg rolls with sweet Thai dipping sauce. The Thai restaurants from LA, SF and OC never are unfresh as this one Thai place. Beware when you eat here; orderly meticulously or chard your pants.

Worst attitude for the server, very rude. Not friendly at all for kids and toddlers. I deliberately made it a point with no tip, but the charge on my card is $10 extra. So the server added the $10 tip. So keep looking...

Okay, one star because food was not good or expensive but that lady (waiter) was a rude human being, she was rude to my one year old daughter. Like common try to be nice with a baby at least.Never going back to this place again.Not friendly
