Myung Dong Tofu House in Buena Park

Super authentic Korean restaurant. The servers spoke very little English—just enough to be sweet and helpful. And the food was very good, and totally legit. So great to have some authenticity!

Great place to have authentic Korean food.this was probably a second visit we ate here. The foods were steaming hot and delicious. The side dishes were also so good to eat. This place seemed very popular with the Koreans . It was always busy and people was waiting outside. Services here were fast and courtesy. The noises were medium and enjoyable that you still can carry on with your conversation.

My go-to traditional Korean restaurant in Buena Park. I usually order bossam, galbi, grilled pork ribs, tofu soup, sometimes mackerel. Good variety of banchan. Usually lots of old Korean people there. Thats a good sign.

This place has been our must stop for lunch every single time we visit Southern California. The price was right generous amount of food and unlimited side dishes. The service always friendly and quick it literally feel like having Asian family with you. Highly recommend.

Food is alwayd good plus the small dishes with free refill. I love the variety of the small dishes they serve, particularly the fried yellow fish (see picture). It is just so yummy. The service is still good and fast even during the pandemic. It is located next to Zion Supermarket so you can go grocery shopping right after the delicious meals at Myung Dong.

This is our soft tofu spot. We’ll pick this place over BCD anytime. Their kimchi is just as good, if not better. So many oysters! We really love all of their banchan.

The seafood tofu soup has a thick seafood broth. It comes with shrimp, squid, clam and oyster. A lot of food. Hood service.

This restaurant is best Korea food.

They make soooooo many different items. Mostly pretty decent. Also, most of their food has a TON of raw garlic so be aware! Korean food is not about having heaps of garlic, but this restaurant really loves garlic in everything.

Its tofu soup and pork ribs is what i love here the service quick and good as well.The only issue i ever had with this place is the consistancy of the taste. Sometimes the best sometimes no taste sometimes too salty then best again.Thats why the 3 stars i do like the place though.
