Myung Ga Korean Cuisine in La Canada Flintridge

I go for #17 Woogoo Ji Galbitanh here all the time and for a period came almost every week. Their kimchi and pickled radish is the best here - crunchy and fresh compared to other Korean restaurants that taste like it can more a prepackaged container. You can order a small kimchi to-go as well for only $2!Theyvalso just launched their katsu dish. Quite tasty though I do wish the meat slices were a bit thicker to balance out the skin. But some people prefer this ratio. Overall they give you two slabs of katsu meat which is more than enough.

Everyone here is soooo nice! And very generous with the good amount. Quality was shockingly good! Had to get more Togo for the family to enjoy at home as well. Highly recommend

A great gem in the area. The prices here are great, the indoor ambiance is nice & relaxing, the staff have nice attitude, and the flavor is amazing! I highly recommend trying this place either dine in or take out. Also, their tables are clean and have a neat feature of a compartment that has all of your needed utensils. The two side dishes are delicious and I will definitely come back. I highly recommend trying their soups with bulgogi.

One of my favorite Korean place! The bossam was amazing, comes with a lot of side dishes and sauces, stews are so flavorful, recommend the spicy ones, pairs so good with rice.

Really good food esp for la Canada. Servers are nice and extra parking in the rear. Bathrooms are outside and some outdoor seating. Would def come again. Good stuff. Really good gga tto gui (fermented radish).

Wow this place is good. You get lots of meat, the broth is excellent, and the Kimchi, sauces, and onions are all so fresh and clean. Please do yourself a favor and get the galbitang, which is short ribs stew. It is their specialty, and absolutely delicious. Mine came with 4 bones packed with meat. Once I trimmed it off and dumped my bowl of rice into the noodle filled broth, it was packed to the brim with home cooked goodness. We also shared a blood sausage. If youve never had Korean blood sausage, its not full of squishy mineral flavored paté like its Latin counterpart. This is more of a pork casing filled with noodles, that is firm and clean tasting, with a hint of meat flavor. It comes with a seasoned salt that provides the perfect accent to the taste. Overall a definite repeat.

Why waste gas and drive to Koreatown when you can enjoy authentic Korean food at Myung Ga? The weather was a bit chilly so my girlfriend and I were in the mood for some soul warming soup and Myung Ga definitely hit the spot.I got the soondaegook and my girlfriend got the yukgaejang, both of which I would highly recommend.The kimchi and kkakduki banchans are delicious and the service was also excellent.The next time youre craving Korean food, give Myung Ga a try!

I ordered Gamjatang&Soondae and my husband ordered Galbitang. What can I say… both are the best soup and they are way better than ones in Koreatown.Soondae is chewy and fresh. Legit.Kimchi tastes amazing, I wish I could buy a jar of it.

Our first time trying this place. The staff is sweet and the food is tasty. My wife really enjoyed the Galbitang. I liked the Tukbaegi Bulgogi. We also enjoyed the Kimchee. I was glad it wasnt too spicy.
