Myungin Dumplings (Chicken) in Northridge

The dumplings are super delicious, love the both regular and kimchi.Our other favorite is the soy garlic chicken. The chicken is super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The sauce is delicious, both spicy and sweet. A half order is big enough for two.Large portions, lots of leftovers for the week.Parking is easy as its a large lot.

I dont want to put this lightly when I want to say that I respect everybodys cooking traditions and I think theyre all amazing but that being said this by far is the best fried chicken Ive ever had in my life!Oh and the other stuff is great too but spicy fried chicken is GOD TIER

My son loves dumplings, so we were excited to check out one of the dumpling places that just opened in our local area -- Myungin dumplings!Our unsavory experience started as soon as we got seated. The waitress proceeded to clean the table with an obviously dirty towel without using any visible disinfecting solution. Then, with her very unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude, brought out four glasses of water along with the very odd and dirty-looking container that appeared to be a plastic bottle with the top cut off and a faded company name and logo printed on the side (picture attached). The water inside the container did not look clean and was very unappealing.Then she started to bring out and very unprofessionally threw some small dishes on the table at us, such as kimchi, shredded cabbage, and sweet and sour radish. One of the dishes had hair on it (picture attached). When we mentioned there was a hair on it, she removed the dish and walked away looking upset that we pointed it out. The manager did not ever come out to offer anything, not even an apology.The chicken fried rice we ordered was brought out on the plate and it was so poorly plated that it looked like someone had already eaten half of it. It was very unappetizing (picture attached).The menu showed Dim Sum 10 pieces. Steam dumplings w/pork, shrimp, egg, cabbage, and chives. The Dim Sum dumplings that we actually received were mostly stuffed with chopped inexpensive filler vegetables, a miniscule amount of chopped pork, and it was very difficult to find any bits of shrimp.There were some dishes that we ordered that were just never brought out to us and the wait staff made no mention of it and neither did we. We just wanted to leave as soon as possible. What a disappointing and unsatisfactory dining experience!!! I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, great tasting food. Will come back to try their other dumplings.

Really impressive dumplings! They definitely dont skimp on the fillings and the dumplings are huge, plus the complimentary sides were awesome. Fantastic flavors, quick service, and friendly staff. You definitely get more than your moneys worth here. Would definitely eat here again.

First time at this placeand it was great. We ordered:1. Soy garlic fried chicken -- 10/102. King steamed dumplings -- 8/103. Pancake w green onions -- 8/10The food was delicious and highly recommended and the prices were reasonable. The valley needs more places like this.

Very yummy dumplings in a laid back atmosphere.Friendly and helpful staff, and the prices are good for the amount of food you get.Some of the dumplings are prepared in a glass enclosed area so you can watch the chefs work their magic.

The food, the service, and the simple atmosphere you get from this place certainly satisfied my friends and I. It was able to seat 8 people as we had to move two tables together (one table = 4 people). The dumplings were really good especially with the little sauce that they provided (I got the kimchi which has a little bit of spicy and the original pork dumpling). However, surprisingly their Chicken was fantastic! I had all of the flavors and my favorite one was the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and the chicken was very juicy and savory. Would definitely come here again especially since the price we paid was fairly cheap compared to other restaurants (we spent about $17-20 per person).

We ordered a ½ order of garlic soy fried chicken (7 pieces) for 2 people, and it was more than enough for us. The chicken was so aromatic and each piece was juicy and cooked perfectly. We also ordered the boiled pork dumplings, green onion pancakes and a side of rice. The pickled daikon complimented everything. It was all so delicious and filling! I enjoyed my meal here very much and I definitely will be returning.

This place was decently good overall.The service was great and the wait time for the food to arrive wasn’t too bad. The prices were pretty good for the servings. They do not skimp out on the filling.•No. 12 Korean Style Kimchi Dumpling (4.5 Stars) The best thing I ordered here. Definitely better with chili oil and the dumping soy sauce.•No. 8 Pan Fried Dumplings (3.5 stars)•Ramen Dumpling Soup (2.5 stars) Honestly lacked a lot of flavor. Had to add a lot of things to give more depth into the flavor.
