We’ve been a customer since almost more than 10-15 years. These guys never fail to make the consistent great tasting Indian food. Given that their masalas will have the traditional pakistani tint but they taste so great in their own respect. The owner and all staff are so great. Their three house sauces are great.Chai is complimentary. Prices are unbeatable for the quality you get.In our recent visit we ordered Vegitarian Biriyani which was absolutely delicious. Tandoor roti is so big and fluffy and great tasting veg. tikka masala.If you’re in Concord, this place is a must try.

Have seen Naan n Curry all over Bay area but hadn’t tried their food so far. Wanted to dine in but this place was super busy so placed an order for take out. So many items to choose from, and they all look appetizing! Decided to go with Lamb Biryani. Portion was ok but the taste was subpar. Very oily and lacked that punch of Biryani. Will try them out next time when in Concord, and hopefully won’t be disappointed.

I drive close to two hours just to eat here when possible. I love the lamb curry all though any of their curry are delicious. The tandoori chicken is 👌🏽❤️ awesome along with the naan . Honestly I dont have any complaints on any of the food that I tried here . I will continue to come back and I recommend that you come try it for yourself.

Excellent food! Loved their naan - unlike the usual naan we find that’s cut into smaller pieces this was thick, fluffy and a full round. The entree serving sizes were adequate for two people. We also tried their samosa which was hot and crispy. Street parking and reserved parking is available nearby. The place got quite busy when we were there on a weekday night. Best part is that all of this was under $20 for two people haha

I drive 45 minutes each direction for this spot. It is always busy and you have to have patience to get a table. Well worth the wait every single time. The flavors are fantastic and you wont find more tender high quality meat. If I could eat here everyday, I would with no exceptions.

Great customer services and super fast during their lunch rush. The food is delicious, well plated and they have to go boxes out so you dont have to ask for one. I asked for a spicy sauce and one of the waiters brought me a sauce that was super delicious 😋

My family loves eating here. If you can snag a table, the food is very yummy and worth your patience. The chai is plain, but still great. The food is spicy, and I love spicy, but be forewarned. I would recommend the Achar lamb, the tandori chicken and the lamb tikka masala. My kids eat the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken (very mildly spicy). Make sure you get plenty of naan for all the yummy sauces.

Naan N Curry is always my go to after Six Flags. I bought my family of 20 people here and they accommodated to every single one of us. The owner gave us sodas and mango lassi on the house. Everyone in my family loved the food and the service. We will definitely be coming back.

The food here is extremely good and reasonably priced. You get good portions, and theres a decent selection of vegan options. The samosas in particular are quite literally one of the best things Ive ever tasted and are super filling.The staff is super efficient while still being pretty friendly and the atmosphere is great.My warning is that its always super busy and packed, but thats definitely expected from a place thats so good

I was a regular customer of this institution, but the service always leaves much to be desired, the cashier is rude and arrogant. Its good that there are other Indian restaurants nearby where you are always welcome, so you dont need to endure such rudeness anymore, visit other restaurants nearby where prices are cheaper and you will always be expected.

The Chicken Tikka Masala was recommended to us, and wow, it does not disappoint! It has a barbequed chicken taste infused into the sauce unlike any sauces Ive had before. 5 out of 5.Complementary self-serve chai tastes strongly of black tea. 4 out of 5.Chicken kebab was decent, but combining bites of this with the side of onion salad and squeeze-bottle sauce accompaniments made for good eating. 4 out of 5 overall.-green chutney squeeze bottle: 3/5 for flavor, but add a point for the convenience of a squeeze bottle.-tamarind sauce squeeze bottle: 5/5. Strength of flavor and viscosity were ideal.-chile sauce squeeze bottle: 4/5 for flavor, but again add a point for even having this. A thin habanero sauce was a pleasant surprise to round out this Punjabi meal. Go easy on it. Its legit hot.Raita was weak. Tangy without being sour and underspiced. Maybe itll help some orders (tandoori?) but for ours it was unnecessary and went all but uneaten.We appreciated ordering at the counter and the lack of expectation for a tip. That said, while you prepare your own table, the foods brought out to you and your table is cleaned up for you.Overall experience was a 5 out of 5. Good value at an agreeable price. Today we stopped by to eat at this place, we ate here every weekend for 3 months, and the arrogance of the cashier was always observed, today I wanted to eat sushi and my husband loves Indian cuisine very much, and I decided to take sushi with me, because there are only 10 pieces, and my husband has a big appetite and he orders several dishes, the cashier has known us for a long time, and told us to leave, arrogantly and in a raised tone, as if he had thrown out his bad day on us, it was very uncomfortable and we left, and we definitely wont come back, we knew all the waiters and the owner, they have a different attitude to customers, and this cashier is just a disappointment

Do you know how to tell if an Indian cuisine restaurant is good or not? By trying its tikka masala. And theirs is FIRE!!! Just the garlic /onion naan dipped in the tikka masalas sauce alone will send you to Nirvanas blissful embrace. And if you like heat, I suggest you try the kuna (slow braised lamb shank) or nihani (slow braised beef shank). The sauce is deep with just the right amount of heat, but watch out for the after burn.

Aside from being packed and having to wait a solid 30-45min for our food, this place was fantastic. Their naan was some of the best, if not THE best I’ve ever had. I was super impressed with everything we had. It really feels like you can’t go wrong here. The chicken tica, and the lamb rice were unreal good. And I forget the name of it (starts with an “R”), but it’s a whole-milk-based gravy that you can mix with basically anything and it’s AMAZING.

Cant say enough about this place. Naan n Curry has amazing food and great service. An owner that cares about quality, and service, and takes care of his employees. The owner knows us by name every time we come in to eat, and the food is always on point. When they get really busy, its really easy to order and take it to go or have it delivered. Sometimes it can take 30+ minutes for your food to be ready for your food to be ready (especially when theyre busy) but its always well worth the wait. We are hooked!

Had heard great things about Naan N Curry restaurants around the Bay Area. The ambiance and atmosphere at this location are commendable. Service is quick, but when it comes to food, there are some things worth mentioning.We ordered a variety of dishes for a group of seven people. Every single item was very spicy which makes it a bit difficult to eat. Also, the Ghost Karahi, Fish Curry, and Chicken Karahi all had the same flavor as if they were cooked in the same curry. No flavor difference. Naan served to us felt as if they had been out of the tandoor for several minutes.Prices are unbelievably high. One single chicken seekh kabab is $4. Having eaten at many indian/pakistani restaurants, this is outrageous. Total bill came out to $200+ which for a group of seven was a lot. We usually average $150 for the same amount of food at other comparable restuarants.

This was my first dine out of the new year. I love food and I love eating out, so this was an important meal. I had at least 2 friends recommend this place to me so my hopes were high. I walked in around 2pm and it was packed. It took the cashier several minutes to acknowledge me, but it was ok because I was still looking at the menu. Turns out this was just the start of his rude behavior. He hurriedly took my order for Lamb Tikka Masala, a side of rice, samosas, and an order of regular and garlic naan. All of the tables were full so he sternley demanded me to go sit in the chair against the wall. The chair was directly behind 2 tables, and I would have been blocking 2 people from getting out of their seats. I decided to sit in the waiting area for to-go orders until a table became available. While I was waiting I could see all of the cooks work their magic with big tubs of spices, giant pots, and no measuring utensils in sight. All ingredients were added with a pinch or a handful. I also had to displeasure to observe the cashier continue to be rude to several other patrons; its not worth going into detail. I changed my order to to-go. I got another dirty look and was told to go sit in the chair again! I replied that I will sit where I please. I think he got the picture. The food was all very good. All of the flavors were exactly as expected and the meat was incredibly tender. The experience with the staff and the ambiance are just as important as the food and they ruined it for me, and that is why they get 3 stars and a blurry picture from my coffee table. The moral of this story is take-out.

Ate at the Berkeley location throughout college, and almost twenty years later, visited the Concord location. This place hits the spot - the sauce for their chicken tikka is so tasty, I wish they would bottle and sell the sauce. The food is good in the cost of what? I try to avoid deliveries for this place cause the wait is horrible. The guy handing out the to gos trys so hard to be miserable and not do his job. If you’re ordering from food delivery apps from this place (it doesn’t matter if it’s busy or not) the only acceptable tip for wasting your driver’s time waiting is $100 if not you should pick up the order on your own.

When you call, Im certain the person answering the phone says to everyone, itll be about 20-30min because I called, then waited 25min before heading over, and proceeded to wait another 25min, after I told him I was there to pick up my otder. Cant really complain because my food was hot even after driving home. This place has been our (wife and mine) weekly takeout meal for well over a year, sometimes a couple times a week. The quality and service has been declining for some time. As vegetarians, we let the “mistake” of giving us chicken in our order a couple months back slide despite receiving nothing more than a disingenuous “sorry about that” with no offered refund on the order. But last night was the last straw.Ordered our usual meal online, showed up roughly an hour after the order was placed, and they had yet to make one of the 5 things ordered. What’s worse: it took them 30 minutes to make the missing item, shuffling the last item (vegetarian) to the back of the line. Received the order with 3 cold items and one hot. Made it home to find that they still managed to screw up the order with mistakes on the other items ordered.Crazy enough, another long time “regular” customer stuffed in the corner had seemingly placed his last order with them as well as he voiced his own frustration at their lack of care towards late orders and waiting customers…It’s the Bay Area, there are plenty of good options for Indian and ethnic food. Time to find a new favorite…

Buyer beware! My boyfriend and I ordered the chik pea and lamb with the spinach and potatoes to go. We also got one plain naan and one wheat roti. The food was so hot, it made my stomach ache. I did not ask for spicy food at all. When I called to tell the restaurant, an employee told me I have to ask for mild food, and all of his food is spicy. We literally wasted $30 dollars and both were sick and in the bathroom all thw nextmorning. Please be careful if you have a sensitive stomach when coming here. He explained to me that even the vegetarian dishes are spicy however, that doesnt explain the diarrhea all morning. If I could give them zero stars I would. The prawn biryani that I ordered was flavorful!!😋 It was a take-out order, so I had it at home with steamed veggies to make a complete meal.The only downside was waiting for the 1-dish order for 30 minutes! Being that it was busy, they said 20 minutes, but it came and went and my order was not ready. After I asked was when it was prepared! I was waiting where I could see the cooks preparing the orders. The restaurant is odd in that it’s really focused on take out but does have a sizable seating area. When you do sit however the cutlery is abysmal. The dishes are good but the naan literally a slab of raw dough. I was not happy but the restaurant is so busy you would have to shout to complain. I dont ever do this, but this place has to be one of the worst dining experiences. We had a pick-up order placed with an estimated pick-up window 45minutes later. We arrive at the restaurant and it is a mad-house.There was well over 20 other people asking when their food would be ready, and the manager, assuming (he was older, white hair, glasses, and bald), was just shrugging people away and telling them to keep waiting. I over-heard some of them waiting over 1.5 hours! Every so often, people would ask where their food was and he would simply wave them off and literally yell at them to wait outside. I understand that he was stressed to the amount of people waiting, but thats NO WAY to talk to a person, let alone a paying customer!I had my hopes up that since I ordered online, my order would be ready sooner, but I was wrong. I asked twice to see if my food was ready but was met with them same rude attitude. I ended having to wait an additional 45-minutes before I just had to call it quits and request a refund. IF you order online, you have to go through GrubHub to get a refund.Terrible customer service, poorly manage wait times, poorly managed kitchen staff; youre better off getting a hamburger patty at your local McDonalds.

Last time we’ll order from Naan n Curry. So many issues with our order last night, they’ve been going downhill for awhile. You order and go outside to wait outside the door on a ledge on the side-walk - no one comes out to let you know if the order is ready or bring the food out to you. This Naan n Curry is a bit different but thats a good thing. Dont be deterred by the perpetual line out the door, seating opens up fast and its actually not a long wait at all... Delicious food and worth a drive, this is my #1 favorite restaurant in Concord and Im sure many would agree!

I like this place. We have ordered naan, samosa, kadai paneer and daal. Absolutely loved the daal, highly recommended. Samosa was also pretty big sized and well stuffed. Naan was decent but I deducted one star because the kadai paneer was extremely spicy. The bad thing is they don’t even ask for the spice level and I feel that is a bit unfortunate. But altogether not totally bad experience and I will definitely try them again

I’ve actually never been to the restaurant itself, so I cannot comment on service, however I have ordered it 10+ times on UberEats. Every dish we have ordered has been amazing here and they never disappoint. Our go to favorites are the samosas and chicken tikka masala. The naan is amazing and fluffy, and a new favorite has become the chicken vindaloo. On top of how great it is, the prices are very reasonable.I would 10000% recommended this place to anyone in the area looking for some good Indian food!

The food quality is consistently good and prices are the best in the area. Unfortunately the location is small and they are very busy most of the time. Avoid the rush hours or choose takeout. For takeout, a phone order is more reliable than online.

Love going to enjoy some ethnic cuisine and seeing the restaurant packed with people whose heritage it is. Ive enjoyed everything Ive ordered from there as has my (vegetarian) wife....and weve ordered from there a LOT. Only drawback is there is often a wait -- the curse of a quality restaurant.

Love Naan n Curry. They have great food. If you cant handle spices well, order white rice and ask them for their least spicy food. Forewarning, it may be a little spicy still. But thats because Asian spice tolerance is fairly high up there. The lassi tastes great, its a yogurt type drink.

This is applies during the pandemic. They really need to do a better job enforcing social distancing. I saw too many people close to each other. I refuse to come back until they control their own traffic comming in. Maybe they should provide a more accurate pick up time because they always take longer than the maximum eta. First I want start with lamb biryani. I am giving zone star for this dish. This dish of lamb biryani do not have the taste whst an biryani should taste like. The rice was not fluffy. Should have use jasmine rice. Lamb should have been bite size and fully cooked to the taste every bite.Secondly we also got Naan that should be bake in Naan oven but this was just like plane not even toast. Cold and chewy. This place do not carries butter chicken and do not give any extra item on the side like other indian restaurant gives like reitha. For me this is the first and last visit to this place. Cannot beat the food for the price! The chicken is tender, the tikka masala is spiced correctly and has plenty of flavor, and the lamb briyani is tender and soft to the bite. The rice is a generous portion as well. The garlic naan is also well worth getting orders of, since it but soft and crispy on the edges. Great Indian food for a great value!

This place gets crowded a lot during dinner time and the wait time is around 15-20 mins for a table. We tried a lot of items and felt it could be a little more spicy. The biriyani was just okay and so were the samosas. But the paneer tikka masala was really creamy and delicious.

I ate two portions of Tikka massala w 2x mint+chutney and 1x spicy sauce. I shot whole spicy sauce to wash everything down. went through 5 waves of solid pain and had to take a sit on the pavement 2x for the first 50min. Walked 3 hours home and couldnt sleep. I went there for lunch today. I ordered Samosa and a tandoori dish. They guy behind the counter told me they were out of Samosas. So I just ordered the tandoori dish. I chose a table right next to the counter. 20 minutes later, a couple walked in and ordered Samosa with their entrees. They guy behind the counter took their order. After I finished my eating, I told him I thought they were out of Samosa. He tells me Yeah, that was the last one.. I ordered before them. How come they get the last one???? Worst service ever!!!
