Wonderful little Indian restaurant. Came here after a long days work for some comforting food and was happily surprised. Food service was quick and piping hot. Portions were generous. Make sure you select the correct spice level to avoid dissatisfaction- lol. Staff were courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Great flavors and lots of food options including vegan. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This is a restaurant with casual setting. The service is fast and friendly. Our group of nine ordered a lot of dishes and enjoyed all of them. For me Daal Tadka (yellow daal) was top notch. It was well balanced and flavorful. The Paneer Tikka was soft and nicely spiced. The Punjabi Naan was a nice twist on the plain naan. The Amritsari Kulcha was another favorite. All in all a good spot to have a bite. Give this place a shot. Note to Chef-: the tandoori chicken was more on the dry side and hard.

I wanted some Indian food and since I was in town visiting my daughter, we found this spot to try. Wow! This place did not disappoint...the place was in a nice location, inside was clean and the staff was very friendly. My daughter and I had the lunch plate. My choice of entree was Chicken Tikka Masala (mild) and your choice of naan or rice. I asked for both basmati rice and garlic naan. It also came with chana masala which was spicy delicious and an appetizer, which was a piece of tandoori chicken. We also ordered the vegetarian samosa...Deelish!!I love that they have complimentary chai tea. It was so good! Overall I loved my experience and would definitely come back.👍🙂

Ratings truly are worth it and deserve much more, very nice staff and clean place, came all the way from San Jose 45 min drive but fully worth it! Run fast guys 🏃‍♂️Got combo vegetarian thali for dinner. First time requested spicy food and got spicy food! Hardly anyone else listens to such requests otherwise. Proper Homemade indian food flavor instead of useless restaurants masala flavors.First bite itself of Daal makhani literally reminded me of India, bengan bharta was great too along with rice and raita.Naan have to order separately so I got paneer and aloo naan was fresh and yum 🤤Have to come back a lot of times to try other curriesFalooda on next trip 🤩 too full to get it this time 😛

The garlic naan was soft with a subtle crispness, a perfect match with the chicken tikka masala. They provided a complimentary crispy appetizer and rice as a side. To refresh my palate, I couldnt resist grabbing a delightful mango lassi 🥭 to go.This place has firmly established itself as my go-to spot whenever Im craving Indian cuisine in the area.

The husband and I stopped here for lunch, close to the San Francisco airport. We ordered the chicken pakora appetizer, two of the lunch specials- lamb and chicken- one with rice and the other with garlic naan, and two chai teas. Service was excellent, food was fast, hot, and the perfect blend of spice and heat. We will definitely add this to our rotation when we are in the area!

This place has the greatest staff, best food (very healthy) and really atmosphere. All in all, great warmth at this place. Highly recommended to anyone who wants tasty, healthy Indian food. I and my family has dined at this restaurant several times since we learned about it from a google search during a trip to Bay Area back in April 2023. As a vegetarian, we were skeptical of this place since they serve all kinds of Indian food. But we felt reassured after we were doubly assured by the waitress that the kitchen staff took care to prepare vegetarian food separately from other meat preparations. With that preamble out of the way, most importantly, the food was simply excellent and the service was reasonably quick. Waiters and waitresses were very courteous and friendly.

Amazing spot for Indian Food in South San Francisco area which provide good options for vegetarian & non veg option.We tried chicken Tikka masala, shahi paneer, garlic naan & tandoori chicken. I rarely write a review for Indian restaurants because they all taste overly oily, muted or just the same OR plain bad. Naan Point was a great exception. Where do I start? The Bhindi Masala was perfectly executed, not slimy despite tomatoes and also not burnt like some other restaurants, actually tasted great with (an equally well executed) Naan. The Chicken Tikka Masala had real flavor, not just buttered up, and the Daal had fresh earthy and herb filled taste with actual green chillies without over powering the main ingredient. The request Medium spice level was beautifully maintained in all orders. Will visit again to try the vegetable biryani and lamb curry that looked good at a nearby table. Compliments to the Chef and also the staff that was incredibly polite, attentive and courteous.

One of the most authentic Indian cusines Ive tried so far. Its located in Bayhill plaza in san bruno. Ample of parking space available. Free chai is too good. Ive tried samosa chaat, coconut chicken curry thali and baigan bharta. Everything was delicious. They offer complimentary rice with each curry. I would highly recommend to try this place!

Moving my rating DOWN for you all only including one free side of rice per ENTIRE ORDER?! Even if we order 5 full entrees and 5 orders of naan, its only ONE free side of rice? Unbelievable. Rice is so cheap, dont be like that. Finding a new spot is my priority now.Past review: So tasty... But PLEASE make your hottest dishes hotter. When you say Fire for the spicy level, I should at least have a little sweat on my brow. This was barely above mild.

My daughter and I eat here once a week. We are low key obsessed. We always leave in a food coma and feel completely satisfied. I really appreciate that when I tell them NO spice they listen and dont add a bit of spice to my food (yah Im weak). My favorite is the chicken korma and of course the garlic naan.The thali plate & lunch special comes with so much food! Service is always friendly. Location is convenient with plenty of parking.

Dal Makhani is on point!! I cant eat naan anymore but excellent when I did. Tandoori fish is also on point. Though I could do without raw onions. Chai is okay, but Im only spoiled by my own. Definately a great eatery addition to our neighborhood...

Best Indian food around San Bruno. Great food great location and the resturant is nice n clean inside. Its not a huge place for big gatherings but for family dinners it is great. The food is good consistently, we have ordered the butter chicken and lamb kababs a lot and they are good. The service is fast and friendly and-the rates are good. I wont say expensive but i will say its not cheap. But its worth it.. after ages we finally have a good Indian resturant in san bruno.

We just discovered Naan Point and loved it. My husband and brother-in-law, who are originally from India, really loved the food. We all ordered the Thali plates and tried each others food. They offer you different spice levels. The Chicken Tikka savory and NOT sweet - just like I like it. The Butter Chicken was equally delicious. Everything was excellent. The naan was delicious too. I was surprised they didnt have a presence in Facebook, so I added the restaurant and tagged ourselves. This will be our go to Indian restaurant from now on - specially since we also live in San Bruno.

Took some friends here for the first time. The food was excellent. It’s hard to find quality across a variety of dishes at Indian restaurants on the peninsula. Usually it’s hit or miss when ordering a variety of dishes, but everything we ordered here was great. Chicken tikka masala was not overly tomatoey like so many restaurants tend to make the mistake of. The right amount of cream was used in the curries to make a flavorful dish and nothing we ordered was watered down. Biriyani, samosas and naan were also great. Staff was friendly and professional. Will definitely be back!

This is a new spot in the shopping center that use to be a Chinese restaurant. New owners menu and staff. Very clean, friendly staff and nice menu options. We tried the Aloo Tikka, FULL chicken tandoori, lamb mushroom with plain Naan and of course a large Taj beer. Make sure to let them know your spice level or your mouth could end up on fire. The food was very good and the texture a little different from other Naan restraunts. We were very please to stop by and and enjoyed our meal. Order the Full chicken its worth it. We were stuffed. I hope they fix the sound system and keep the music playing as it adds to the mood and theme. I say check it out.

I wish Id have taken a photo, but it was too delicious. Best curry Ive ever had in the USA. I had coconut chicken, garlic naan and rice and I didnt leave anything. The naan was just crispy, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the medium spice in the coconut sauce was just spicy enough. The waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent. Everything that we tried was delicious! That to me is the mark of a great restaurant, when every single dish is thoroughly enjoyable! They also provide free Chai which is a very nice touch.We tried bhindi masala, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, saag paneer, and chicken pakoda. All were very tasty! Highly recommended.

The food here is soooo goood. The customer service experience was excellent too! Super easy to order, water and tea is complimentary at a serve-yourself station. When Naan Point first opened up, I opened my arms to the heavens and thanked the almighty. Having tried most of the Indian food in the city, I had been left sorely disappointed by the lack of quality and care. Sometimes it felt like the food wasnt even meant for me at all, and I felt a lot of these places get away with being kind of nice and serving some wine to the general populace, but the raw quality of the food was just atrocious, unthinkable to serve as Indian food anywhere in the world.Naan Point, so far, is different, and I can admit Ive eaten there probably 20 times so far, tried various items. (Im vegetarian.)1. There is genuine care and quality to their dishes.2. They dont nickel and dime you.3. They actually serve a Thali plate, and it is affordable - it might even be a loss leader, but all their Thali dishes are served fresh and made to order. (If youre the owner and youre reading this - please dont ever remove that option, you can charge me more for it, but I would be gutted if we dont have Thalis anymore.)Only time will tell if they can sustain this - but as it stands today, it might actually be the best Indian restaurant in a 15 mile radius, its actually that good. And thank heavens it serves us folk in the San Bruno area. You might think it unassuming but the majority of the clientele in there are not Indian at all. Who would have imagined most other people dont want to be ripped off and just want a nice authentic meal as well? Other businesses could take note. Seriously.Thanks for saving the day. Not a bad place for an Indian food fix. Ordered lunch special of chicken curry with naan and rice. It came in a compartmented container. Perfect volume for lunch. The curry was good and it also came with 2 pieces of pakora and lentil stew - good for dipping the naan. Not salty nor overly spicy. Oh, they also serve food in those cool thali plates. Will have to try their lamb curry next. Their mild is a spicy mild. Tolerable, not overbearing. Its a small place but clean and decent. Hoping for their success. Many restaurants nowadays are having tough times.

The food was rich in flavor. I do appreciate that they allow for customizing the spice level. My wife and I were looking for a nearby Indian restaurant. We saw this place and wanted to try it out despite only 28 reviews at the time of this post. We got the chicken and lamb curry, garlic naan and a samosa. Everything tasted great, the curry was rich in flavor and the garlic naan is a must with curry! Would definitely recommend this place for take-out or dine-in.

Friendly service, excellent food, lots of choices, large entrees and fun appetizers. Prices are great, portions are large. Thai tea, for free! As much as you want. I’d say the best chicken masala we’ve tried within San Mateo county, out of 5 restaurants; Wish it had little more chicken but the taste was phenomenal. Same goes for the complimentary rice which is one of the only restaurants that still do it. The flavors focus more on taste rather than the heat and burn which I love. Mango lassi didn’t have much mango and was more Americanized but interesting taste nonetheless. If wasn’t for their hours of operation I’d be there 3 times a week.

Great Indian option for the area. Food is great, service is fast, and the restaurant is clean and presents a nice atmosphere workout being over the top. The Naan sandwiches and lunch specials are great options for trying it out. They close a little early after lunch and are not fast as the food is made to order but its all worth it.

Absolutely horrendous! Asked specifically for vegetarian and was given chicken! It is the basic responsibility of the restaurant to follow simple dietary restrictions.While some may claim that it’s not a serious issue, if I had a nut allergy and they did the same thing with nuts the outcomes would have been drastically different. Just shows the utter carelessness of the restaurant. Never going back again!

Thrilled to see an Indian restaurant open up so close to home I had to stop here. As its my ultimate comfort dish I had to order the chicken tikka masala; spice levels range from mild, medium, hot, and fire. I opted for hot.I was pleasantly surprised to find that basmati rice is included with the entrée (most places charge extra for that), so I only had to order plain naan with it. I also ordered mango lassi.It was all great!! The hot spice level honestly wasnt that bad, I didnt even break out into a light sweat from it (thats my litmus test for how spicy something is). Ill try the fire next time =) There was ample pieces of chicken in the sauce, and it was all cooked perfectly. The naan was also very good and overall everything was decently priced for the portions and quality. The staff were also great!My only regret is I didnt take a moment to get any photos of my food, but rest assured I will be back (sooner than my diet allows, probably.

We did takeout over the weekend. Ordered the following items: chicken wrap, chicken biryani, baingan bharta, butter chicken, half tandoori chicken plain naan, cheese naan and samosas.My husband who is a picky eater really liked their chicken wrap and my daughter who is 10 years old, loved the cheese naan and butter chicken. Out of the rest of the food, chicken biryani was my favorite. The service was very friendly and fast. We will be ordering again.

Nothing new! Typical Indo-American cuisine taste you find in every corner. Just difference is when you plan to go here, book an appointment with gastroenterologist too, Youll need it after your meal. There is only spice level (ultra hight spicy food)White people stay away OR you will get colon cancer 100% for sure. Worst Restaurant! Stay away & find some genuine, vegan, organic non-spicy option.

This is my first time at Naan Point! I was pleasantly surprised. I normally frequent a restaurant in Los Altos. I’ve been looking for a restaurant closer to my current him, when craving Indian food! Since I was in a rush… I ordered TO GO. The Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Rice and Garlic Naan were perfect for a first order! I will defiantly be coming back and bringing my friends and family!!
