The torta is excellent. The pollo asado has great flavor. I really enjoyed the rice and beans as well. It’s a cozy hole in the wall spot that is putting love into their food. Will be returning, especially since it’s within walking distance to my house! I gave it 5 stars across the board because it’s hitting the marks for what you’d want from a local taco shop.

Driving around I saw a long line for Taco Johns and Taco Bell. I stopped here at Nachos, where they have take out and also spaced out places to done in. I ordered Garlic Shrimp plate that came with a salad, rice, refried beans and guacamole besides a pan fried jalapeno and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. You also get pico de Gallo, green or red salsa on the side. The food was phenomenal and the personel was friendly and courteous. I had the cinnamon sugar cookies as well as the chocolate ones and they are also some of the best I have ever had. I am so pleased! Why go to a sub par place when you can get the real deal with no waiting in line!!!!

Got a $12 California burrito that had barely any meat. Tons of empty room in the tortilla and loaded with cheap fries. Barley any meat. Not worth it. When I receive a remake or refund I may change my mind.

My family LOVES this place! Maria and everyone there are the absolute best! Nacho’s has great food and is reasonably priced. I hope they are open forever. Whenever someone from out of town visits we recommend Nacho’s as the best example of Mexican food in the area. We are not rich and can still afford to eat here. Their pico de Gallo is so good. Try the Jamaica! you’ll never settle for less. The sopes are my favorite as well as the shrimp cocktail.

The best authentic Mexican food. I used to go there after High School few times a week and the quality hasnt changed. Now my teenagers eat there after school now and love it! Family owned and they are the same friendly people 30 years later still working there.

They are still making great food here. Always good and friendly. I like the red snappercrispy with either ranchero topping or garlic sauce. Both good. Comes with rice, beans and a small salad with guac and sour cream and warm tortillas. About $12. They have an outdoor eating area.

Consistently fresh good tasting food. The staff is always smiling and very friendly. Their enchilada sauce is unique but excellent. Taco meat is surprisingly flavorful. I eat here at least twice a month.

After one visit I’m converted. I’m a fan. My sister told me about Nachos and even though the name is horrible the people are fantastic and the food is top notch. I ordered two enchiladas for $5.60. Yeah, you read that right. They were both great. One chicken one beef. My sister and her friend regularly order tacos here and love them. It’s casual and simple but the food is great and the prices are wonderful. And I can’t say enough great things about the staff. Nacho’s is right by my house and regular stop for lunch or dinner now.

Machaca burrito was great. Very authentic Mexican food, maybe a little bit too much for some people. Red salsa has a great kick, green has good flavor but very mild. Not flashy inside, but clean and well cared for.

My girlfriend and I tried the Machaca burrito, Fluatas, Chicken Sopas, and Horchata. Food was so fresh, warm, and colorful in homage to the Mexican flag! Complementary hospitality with chips and salsa upon dine-in. I would give the whole menu a try!

Good food overall! Very good 7 mares soup & chicken fajita! However, they need some improvement on the chicken & beef stews, too watered down! The fried rice is just boiled down with water, no tomato sauce! Very courteous personnel, except for one noisy employee!

I have been coming here since I was 3 or 4 years old. My father and mother would takes us here to eat. I now have a family of own and bring them to eat at Nachos. I recommend everyone to try this place its flavor hasnt change in the many years I have been visiting. I usually have the Carne Asada Torta, with a vuelve a la vida cocktail. Or maybe the 7 mares soup. Their sopes are amazing seriously go now its as good as im saying!! Get there or be square definitely dirty doper approved!!

I absolutely love this restaurant! Hands down one of the best mexican restaurants in North County, with amazing service and incredible quality. Im not crazy about their taquitos because they use ground beef and rice. I gave four stars cause they have the best salsa and I love their breakfast burritos and they have the best beans. They also have some of the best customer service.

Great food especially tamales. Service with a smile. Love nachos huge amount. Burritos are good but very messy. Pico de gilo is delicious. Prices are incredible. You can take 👨👩👦 and bring them happily feed with money left in you pockets.

Was so disappointed in food. Ordered #2 combo plate, rellano and enchilada. Both were awful; meat in enchilada tasted sour and possibly spoiled. Rellano was a hard glob with slab of unmelted cheese on top. Both were served just barely warm with white rice and a bit of salad with green sauce that resembled guacamole. Sure wish I had gone to the restaurant others are raving about!

Staying at the Lakehouse Resort and had a craving for Mexican food. We searched for local Mexican food in San Marcos and found this gem in a local strip mall. We Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to indulge in delicious, flavorful, authentic, homemade Mexican food. The food especially the homemade salsa (behind the counter), flan, horchata, and street tacos were so good. But what really made his experience so nice was the friendly face behind the counter tonight that closed the shop on March 21 2016. we never got your name but thank you for making us feel welcome in your restaurant.

I was waiting at the table for my meal and noticed that some members of the staff were looking at me like if I were a piece of meat. I was so uncomfortable, I was with my baby. Ive never ran into a burrito/taco shop that charges a mandatory .50 cent fee on all transactions until I ordered from this place. Then my order, a carne asada burrito, took 22 minutes to complete. I patiently waited... however when I got the burrito, it weighed very light. It was about half the size of similar carne asada burritos around the area.

I dont know what it is about this place that keeps me coming back. Oh yes I do. Its their salsa! The food is typical mexican food, but the service staff is really nice there, and you can usually get a good deal on the food. Their Chilie Relleno Burritos are really good and so is their ceviche.

It is delicious 😋 I ordered chilaquiles to my liking and they were very kind, they prepared them as I requested, the cashier lady is very pretty and the cook also looks like they are very clean people, you can tell from the dining room to what you see of the kitchen I now have a new place to go for my chilaqueles and try more things on the menu.
